I'm packing all my books up so I can reorganise my bookshelves tomorrow, so post and get the title of the book currently on top of the current pile and my thoughts on it. alternatively, give me a genre or two and I'll give you the first I find in that genre (assuming I even have one) be warned - some of 'em might be Swedish, who knows? I'll check if it's available in English and include that in the post as well, in that case

hit me, except no extreme fictional books (like harry pooper) The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness (which I loved, by the way) is what you got, but if you wanted realistic fiction then the first one is A Shopaholic in New York (which I've never read and probably never will read because it's not my thing but it has a pretty cover so it stays on my shelves anyway)

The Last Battle by C.S Lewis. the final book in the chronicles of narnia and probably my second favourite in the series (behind the silver throne, of course, that book is unbeatable). highly recommend the entire series to everyone, ever

Lex by Sara Kaderfors. a decent book, I read it for school and found it enjoyable if a little repetitive and annoying. it's in swedish and I'm pretty sure its only been translated into spanish and danish, though

for an actual, valid, recommendation, Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell was packed right after. it's not only a far superior book that's actually been published in English but just a wonderful experience in its own right. 100% recommend it

The Haunting of Tabitha Grey by Vanessa Curtis. I'll be honest, I only bought this because it was at my local Tesco's for a quid and for a new book that's scarily impressive. couldn't turn it down haha. I haven't read it though, so no word on the quality of it

I like fantasy/adventure/thrillers best Touch by Claire North fits the fantasy/sci-fi genre and I'm pretty sure it toes the line of being a thriller as well. I haven't read it myself but a good friend who's word I trust says it's wonderful so take that as you will
