Ohai x
I have to go right now but I wanted to ask before I go if anyone would want to do a rp based on the romance of Meg and Hercules from Hercules - basically a slave to Hades x a demigod or something.
Anyone interested? We can discuss more, my only requirement is at least 10 lines of rp

Haha don't worry XD
Okay so I never really got very far with plotting this out in my head but we can go with the generic Hercules idea of pretending-to-be-in-love-then-really-falls-in-love or we can move away from that )

Yea I'm fine with going with the generic idea if you want. :3 I'm trying to remember the movie, but all I can remember is Danny Devito. xD Cause I'm assuming this is based more on the Disney movie, and not the last two hercules movies that were released. It's probably best to stick with the pretend to be in love part. Are we doing the same roles as in Hades' slave is a female, the demigod is a male? Or are we switching that up so the male is the slave, and the demigod is a female? Orrrrr completely mix it up and do fxf, mxm
|
|
|
Post by ƤαƖƖαѕ ✧ on Jun 1, 2017 8:17:16 GMT -5
Hahaha yeah it is the Disney one (which Danny Devito did completely OWN)
Okay, pretend to be in love it is then x I honestly don't mind, doing fxf or mxm could be so fun and it might be good to mix it up. It might fit better if the slave to Hades was a female, though, so we could do fxf if you wanted. I honestly don't have a preference)

Fxf sounds fun, I've never really done it before so it'll be fun~ So I guess now the question is which one of us is rping the slave, and whose rping the demigod. I don't have a preference for this one. x3 Both roles seem to have their fun. Also are we doing daughter of Zeus, or new god?
|
|
|
Post by ƤαƖƖαѕ ✧ on Jun 1, 2017 8:26:27 GMT -5
Well it doesn't matter in terms of which god, that can be totally up to whichever of us rps the demigod.
Speaking of which, I don't mind being either but I would love to be the slave. If you want to do that though I don't kind honestly x)

Post by Sabby The Caddy on Jun 1, 2017 8:35:53 GMT -5
I'm totally fine with rping the demigod~ So in that case I got an idea! =0
What if my character was the daughter of Hades himself? However for some reason he never learnt about her and she was raised by her mom who hide her father's identity, however my character clearly knew she was gifted since she could idk control blue flames? Idk what the daughter of Hades would do. xD and at some point get talked into fighting in the coliseum. This is when Hades learns of his daughter and offers her a chance to return to the underworld, but get turns down.So Hades get his slave to coax his daughter into coming home.
If you don't like that ideal my other plan was just stick with Zeus as the dad, and have her be a female hercules.

We can do forms if you want but I tend to just describe through rp. What would you like to do?

The morning sunlight shone over the bustling city state. The town was already thriving for it was preparing for the grand reveal of a new fighter, a female fighter at that. The Colosseum had been busy the past few days setting it up, the label for this tournament was: A goddess among men! Basically it was a big event being held as a mystery female combatant had offered to take on anyone who dared face her. To greet this tournament of course the town had to throw a festival. So for now it was time for the kids to enjoy little events for when the moon fell and the fighting was over the adult partying would truly begin. Banners hung all around the town, and shopkeepers aligned the street selling varies goods. With roads filled of families trying to have a good time the city was really looking great today. The last tournament held here had been quite some time so you could see the enjoy in the civilians faces as these days don't come around too much. However like all good times it seemed like time passed quickly as the morning sun soon rose and was already starting to fall for the moon to takes it time in the spotlight. However before that could happen all citizens like a herd of sheep found their way into the colosseum as the tournament was already being held. Fights after fights occurred all to earn the right to face the Moonlight Princess as she was called. She had never been seen in a public fight, or at least she kept her identity hidden very well. However just something about this night screamed that it would be special.
The battlefield was now coming to it's grand finale as a male fighter lifted his blade from it's target, and he shifted it onto his shoulders. "Ladies and gentleman, we have ourselves the winner!" A burly man announced as he stood up from his balcony holding a cup of wine in his hands as he looked at the man wielding his large great sword with one hand. "You have earned the right to fight the Moonlight Princess!" He cheered luckily for this tournament everything was timed perfectly as the moon was clearly the owner of the sky at this current point in time. The battlefield was only lit by torches at this point. However as the Moonlight Princess was mentioned a gust of air sent the flames away, Causing darkness to overcome the battlefield. The warrior sighed as he looked at the burly man clearly this was all to give miss princess a grand entrance. However as he thought that a cold chill went down his spine and right as it did a burst of blue flames lit the torches one by one as the arena was once again lit up. The torches lit up so your eyes would follow them to the lowered gate that once the torches reached it was slowly raised revealing a pitch black room. After a few moments a figure slowly made it's way out of the shadows.
This figure was of course the main event of this evening, the Moonlight Princess, and she sure earned her name. She wore no helmet revealing a pale slender face, and overall a slim body build. She looked like the kind of girl who'd work as a dancer than a fighter however here she was. Her hair was long and oddly a snow white color. Her appearance was quite odd as she looked oddly sick yet beautiful at the same time. As for her attire of course she was wearing armor. Snake like designed metal traced her figure so it looked like she wore the shadows themselves until you got to her neck where two snake heads looked as if they were going to bite. She had no sword instead she rocked a black lance that rested at her back. The figure slowly made her way to the battlefield so she was looking at the warrior with the great sword. She spoke no words in fact it was once again the burly man who spoke. "Begin!"
With those words spoken the larger man quickly moved in for a quick victory as he brought his sword down seeing no way the woman could block his great sword with her puny lance. However she didn't go for a parry instead as he got close she did a flip backwards, and as her hands touched the ground she was tossed into the air by the shadows sending her quite high up in fact. During this she did another flip this time grabbing her lance and as she had her head going face down she stopped the flip and dove back to the ground with her lance pointed down. If the man she was fighting hadn't been a veteran in the art of war he would have been impaled yet he lifted his blade just in time for the lance to hit the blade instead of him. With that the Moonlight Princess jumped back so her feet were safely on the ground again. Her face showed a small smirk for a second as the crowd watched in awe as the large great sword that took down so many fighters mere minutes ago shattered into pieces. "Yield?" A questioning voice came from the female lancer as she dug her lance into the ground and leaned on it slightly watching the man stare at his now crushed blade. However he soon fall to his knees bowing his head and the crowd roar in cheer and awe at the victor of tonight. The fight didn't last long but it wasn't every day you got to see what this female just did. The burly man stood up again, and raised his cup. "I've been informed her name isn't the Moonlight Princess! Our victor for tonight is the Dragoon!" He shouted and the crowd once again roared in cheers.
Hours later the true partying of tonight was sat about the taverns, and inns were hosting parties celebrating the victor of tonight. Though neither had the victor herself present instead it was outside in the nearby forest that the woman walked with a small centaur. "I'm proud of ya! Never got to see a women make a man fall to his knees before!" He cheered looking up at the woman known as the Dragoon. "I'm so happy I took you under my wing Lumina, together we shall make millions..... I uh.... I mean we'll make you a goddess worthy of the gods!" He continued to go on as Lumina simply walked listening to him. However as they reached deeper into the forest Lumina stopped as her centaur friend stopped talking. "Woah, woah.... Do I sense daddy nearby?! NAW NAW Sorry kid, but I'm out!" He spoke suddenly before scurrying off it was clear the little creature had no intentions on meeting the lord of the dead. Neither did Lumina she had met her father once, and she knew who he was. She had hoped her father would have turned out to be a more honorable god, but she seemed to be the work of one of the worst choices. Her last meeting had consisted of her father trying to get her to join him in the underworld and Lumina turning him down. So she had no clue what he was up to know. However running away wasn't her thing so instead she took out her black lance and stuck it in the ground. She was no longer in her armor now she wore a white robe that was called a Kimono in the eastern world. She had enjoyed the look and just so happened to have chosen to wear one for the festival. Sighing she waited for her father to make his entrance.
// Okay I hope you like this! I also gave you a small opening for our characters to meet to avoid us both posting like five openers. x3 I figure you could either rp Hades, or it's your character giving off the same feel as Hades since she's a slave to the underworld.
//I also hope you're okay with me making my character a lancer/dragoon. xD I've always wanted to rp one and since she's a demigod I felt I could make it work in this rp.

[I changed her story in that she sells her soul to save a family member, rather than a lover.
Sorry this is shorter x
Also, no problem with needing to sleep x]
Selling one's soul, it turned out, had major effects on one's appearance. Keres had once had golden skin and deep brown hair ith olive eyes. Now her skin had paled and her hair had darkened so that her skin was pale white and her hair raven black. This hair reached down to her waist in waves. Some of her deep brown hairs had turned silver, giving her black hair shimmer and shine. Her eyes had lost all colour, the irises turning into a silvery grey. She had been well and truly branded as the property of Hades.
The young woman had given her soul to Hades, making her his slave for as long as he decided to keep her, in order to save the life of her little sister, who had died of a disease. Hades had kept her for...well...longer than she cared to remember.
Hades himself was standing in front of Keres, a vision of shadows and flames. She couldn't help but remember how terrified she had been of him when she sold her soul. He was certainly an intimidating being, especially for someone who was a human. WWell, she was mortal, she supposed, but Hades had prevented her from ageing for the duration of her time with him. She appeared to be in her early twenties, but she had lost track of how old she really was.
She was looking away from Hades, in defiance after having said that she didn't want to force his daughter's hand. God knew she understood what it was like to not want to be trapped in the Underworld.
So she felt a finger beneath her chin as Hades forced her to turn her head and look at him. She hated when he did that.
"You're forgetting something, Keres," Hades warned in a calm but ominous voice "Your soul is mine. You will do as I say before I take your life and the life of that sweet little sister of yours. So I'm going to send you up there, you are going to talk to Lumina, and then you will both return here. Is that understood?"
Keres' cheeks flushed with anger, but she nodded. Hades smiled that terrible smile that still chilled Keres to the very bones. Then he clicked his fingers, and the bracelets that kept her down here, making her unable to return to the human world, vanished from her wrists. She was temporarily free.
"Good girl. Who knows, do this for me, and you might be getting out a few years sooner."
So with a flick of his hand, Keres felt the darkness of the underworld dissolve away, to be replaced by a new darkness. The darkness of night. And the peace and quiet of the forest.
Keres looked up to see a dusting of stars in the sky as she breathed in the cool, sweet night air. This was so different from the Underworld. It was open and real and so familiar to her, yet out of reach. She had forgotten how much she loved the human world. How much she longed to return.
And so Keres appeared in the human world. She was tall and slim, much like Lumina, and she wore a dark dress, secured at the shoulder with a pin bearing the symbol of Hades. One even got a new wardrobe when you sold your soul, Keres had learned.
She fixed her eyes on the daughter of Hades, a beautiful woman wearing white and standing beside a black lance. Lumina did not appear happy. And her friend had fled at the merest whiff of Hades' presence. Nothing new, then. Nice to see nothing changed.
"Lumina," Keres greeted with a slow smile "Expecting your father, I see. Never fear - he only sent me. My name is Keres - I don't believe we've had the pleasure of meeting. Your father has sent me to speak to you. I'm sure you've already guessed what it's about."
She didn't think her position as a slave of Hades was extremely obvious, so she wasn't sure if Lumina would figure it out. But who knew - Lumina was, she had been told, a very intelligent woman. And Keres certainly didn't doubt it. Hades was cunning, after all, and cunning was just another form of intelligence. At least, that was how Keres saw it.
She was also a little concerned that Lumina wouldn't listen - Keres needed Lumina to listen. Her desire to not be punished depended on it. And then there was the concern that Lumina was an armed demigod whereas Keres was a distinctly unarmed mortal - even if Hades wasn't going to let her come to harm.

The sweet smell of the underworld wrapped around Lumina's nose as she closed her eyes. She had to admit she didn't get a sense of fear when she smelt no it felt like most would expect it to smell to someone who was born of darkness. It was quite a pleasant smell, in fact it wasn't the fact that watching the dead was a horrible career path that Lumina refused to go be by her father's side. Nay it was merely the fact that she wanted to bring honor bloodline, she knew how the gods saw her father, and therefore her. Cruel backstabbing snakes who only wanted what was best for themselves. However Lumina wasn't like that no she was raised by a family of honorable mortals and thus their state of mind had transferred to Lumina. She was a honorable woman the type to stick up for the weak, and fight evil. Whilst her father was the definition of evil and as Lumina opened her eyes another piece of evidence of her father's evil was made clear. She instantly knew by the branding of clothes that the woman standing in front of her was indeed a slave of her father's. Someone who made the poor choice in making a deal with the lord of the underworld.
Blinking her dark blue eyes for a second Lumina looked at the woman. Her father sure had good luck with getting attractive slaves that was sure. This woman, Keres as she had introduced was quite good looking. So luckily for Keres, Lumina wouldn't attempt to get out of this conversation anytime soon. "Why must the pretty ones, always succumb to the darkness." Lumina stated under her breath as she released her lance leaving it in the ground sticking firmly up though not in her hands anymore as she doubted it would be used for this interaction. "I assume he told you to bring me back to the underworld? Yes, yes I don't see how sending you would get me to change my answer. I do not wish to serve by a snake's side." She stated as she walked over to the girl grabbing her chin gently as she inspected the woman her blue eyes glancing around the woman's face. "Keres.... What a odd name." Lumina mumbled not seeing a need to introduce herself since the woman knew who she was. Letting hergo Lumina took a few steps back and grossed her arms.
"So let me guess he has something over you...." Lumina started looking at the girl again for a few moments. "A family member?" She stated her guess as she continued staring at the girl. Inside Lumina was enjoying the view however outside Lumina was probably giving a soulless stare something she inherited from her father. She had to go out of her way to show emotion most of the time she just had a blank face. "Well I'm not going down there. Cause he probably has some weird trap set up to keep me there." She stated firmly walking over to her lance pulling it out of the ground and spinning it in her right hand before holding it in a idle stance. "So what now?" She questioned as he turned to where the city was. "Wanna enjoy the festivals before you go back?" She offered she did feel bad for this woman being a slave and all, but Lumina was no martyr. She wouldn't go to the underworld just because this woman was being threatened.
//No worries you matched in length~ Alas as you can see only my starters get that long. ahaha This is probably the length I'll mainly use. //Also I might have another response in me! : D

Just like her father. Intelligent - as shown by how quickly she had figured out that Keres was a slave - and with the same soulless gaze. What a chip off the old block Lumina seemed to be - though Keres already suspected she was quite different from her godly father.
Lumina's question, showing how quickly she had figured Keres out, rattled the woman somewhat. Clearly Keres was more obvious than she thought.
She did not answer Lumina's question about the family member, though Keres guessed that the flickering of her eyes would tell Hades' daughter everything that she wanted to know. She was entirely correct.
And then...the way she grabbed Keres' chin, looking over her face...it was just like Hades. So like Hades, knowing fact, that the dark-haired woman had to stop herself from shuddering at the touch of this demigod.
At Lumina's invitation to join the festivities, she bit her lip. If Hades found out, Keres didn't know what he would do to her. But on the other hand, it was her first time out of the Underworld in a long time. And it might give her more opportunities to convince Lumina to come to the Underworld. Hades hadn't set a time limit, anyway.
"Why not?" Keres replied with a shrug "And what about your little centaur friend? Did he run off?"
Keres wasn't sure where the centaur had gone, and it was only because she was curious about where he had gone that she had even bothered asking.
(Sorry for the length I'm on a tablet)

Lumina smiled at that answer and summoned darkness to take her lance somewhere so she didn't have to carry it around all night. It was one of her favorite uses of her dad's gifts. "Good I wanted a reason to go enjoy them myself, a beautiful woman is just the reason I needed." Lumina chuckled smiling she assumed this girl was used to her father's soulless facial expressions so Lumina decided to try her best to act different and show emotion to the woman. She didn't want the girl thinking Lumina was just a picture clone of her father, but in a better looking body. She moved her hands to her shoulder length hair and pulled into a small ponytail using a shadow binding to hold it. With that Lumina went into her full lady form as she turned to head back into the town.
"He probably went back to his house, he'll come back tomorrow." Lumina answered not wanting her little friend in her thoughts right now. She considered him a work friend and right now she was in her casual mood. It was quite easy for people to see the difference in the dragoon Lumina, and Lumina herself. She tended to act quite elegant at least when around mortals. She even had the look of a noble so it was hard for people to believe that the warrior from the tournament, and Lumina were the same person though they clearly were. When Lumina puts on her shadow armor she turns into a hero as she likes to state.
As they walked through the forest heading to the bustling town that was still quite lively despite the night fully taking it's spotlight for the day. The festival was still on however it was a bit different now then it was during the day. It was more of a adult party rather than kids. So drinks, and all that were being tossed around quite a lot through the town. "So tell me about yourself Keres, why'd you sell your soul?" Lumina inquired softly as she looked forward at the many people enjoying the festival.
//Sorry for my length Dx going to bed~

Keres' pale cheeks - once golden in tone - flushed at Lumina's comment about her being beautiful. She was surprised by the sudden compliment, and it was perhaps Lumina's own beauty that triggered Keres' blush.
Lumina had the kind of beauty that came only from godly blood, Keres thought. Even Hades, in his own dark way, had the perfect, polished, striking appearance that came from being a deity. Keres would have looked a normal kind of pretty if it weren't for the selling of her soul, which had given her the striking colouring that made the dark-haired woman stand out so much.
And then there was Lumina's question, which Keres had guessed was going to be asked of her sooner or later. It appeared it was going to be sooner. Very well. It made no difference to Keres when she was asked about her past. She honestly didn't mind.
"Well, I had a little sister," Keres explained "And she fell gravely ill. There was nothing I could do but watch her suffer and slowly grow ill. She was only sixteen. When she died, I couldn't bear to let her go. I sold my soul to your father to save her life, to give her a chance to grow up. It was only the two of us, and I'm the older sister, I felt I had to protect her in any way I could. So I made the deal with Hades to sell my soul. I couldn't tell you that I regret it."
She hadn't seen her little sister since. Didn't know what had become of her. But in a way, that was good. She wanted her little sister to forget about her.
The young woman's hair had been in a braid, but she undid it and let it fall loose, making sure it covered anything on her clothes that linked her to Hades. She wanted to be able to enjoy this little festival uninterrupted, if she could do so.

Lumina's pale blue eyes stayed staring in front of her as she listened to the woman's words. Selling your soul to save someone, that was quite a noble cause. Lumina wasn't sure if she would do the same. Maybe if she had a sibling but she had been raised alone so she couldn't think of anyone she'd give up her own soul for. Maybe her mom and the man who raised her but even then Lumina was positive they wouldn't want her to do that. In fact she was sure this girl's sister wouldn't have agreed to Keres' actions either yet Lumina was in no place to say anything about it. "You know he's never going to let you go, correct?" Lumina simply stated as she turned down a street that was busy with civilians having a good time. No one recognized Lumina which was what Lumina planned so everything was quite simple. She already got enough attention due to her godly appearance. She couldn't say she disliked the way she looked in fact she was quite fond of it, but it did garner a bit of attention. She could remember turning down countless boys has a child, and even know she turned down quite a few men. However as she matured she gained the appearance of someone only the truly brave men would be willing to try to hit on. Which was good for Lumina since she liked women.
Leading the way into a building Lumina stopped and turned to Keres. She had brought the women to the upper class housing, for this was where Lumina quite often hung out. Sure she might enjoy combat but deep down Lumina was a lady who prefered dancing, and violin over cheering drunken singing in the taverns. Stopping to look talk with a bodyguard Lumina smiled at the man. It was the guard who spoke up first. "Ah, Lady Lumina! Welcome come on in, I assume this is a friend of yours?" He questioned eyeing Keres before looking back at Lumina. "Yes she is, I'll make sure she behaves." Lumina promised the man and after a bit more small talk Lumina led the way into a white large house owned by the burly man who hosted the tournament. Inside was quite fancy and grand. People spread about the entire house talking and drinking wine. A band of music players were playing a joyful yet elegant tone for the many couples to dance to.
"I'm sure living with my father, you are used to the more.... Wild kind of parties." Lumina finally spoke to Keres again turning her pale blue eyes to look at the woman. "I assure you I have different tastes." She added scanning the slave's face. Lumina had no clue what kind of men her father was when he was in his palace of the damned. "So would you care to dance, talk, or drink wine?" Lumina offered allowing Keres to decide since this was probably one of the few times Keres got to enjoy herself in a long time. For all Lumina cared Keres could go get herself a man for the night, but she doubted that would happed. She figured the girl would spend this whole time trying to convince her to go to the underworld.

"Yeah, I kind of figured that out," Keres had replied with a small smile to the first question "But, hey, I suppose there are worse things that could happen."
'There are certain upsides,' Keres thought to herself 'like his extremely attractive daughter'
It was amazing how well people seemed to know Lumina. Hades' daughter was clearly quite the socialite. Not like her father at all, who preferred his space, to say the least. That was something Keres had learned about her master over the years. He was very secluded and he liked it that way.
And seeing mortals enjoying themselves like this was great for Keres, reminding her what it had been like when she had been one of them. Nobody seemed to recognise her for who she was, thanks to the fact that she'd made a good job of hiding Hades' emblems. Nobody would know who she was if she could help it. And that was just how the young woman wanted it to be. She was thoroughly sick of Hades.
"Oh, I'm fine to just talk, actually," Keres smiled "I have two left feet"
And she was concerned that if she drank some wine she might get carried away and drink too much. As good as she had gotten at hiding things from Hades, he would definitely notice if Keres returned to the Underworld stinking of alcohol. Even if he didn't technically say she couldn't drink.
The way Lumina looked at Keres still held something of Hades there, but there was most definitely something else there. Something distinctly Lumina. This woman was so like Hades, and yet so not. Lumina was so her father, but then also completely and utterly her own woman It surprised Keres. But then she knew how it felt trying not to lose sight of yourself when you were under the control of Hades.
It had taken Keres a long time to come to terms with her fate and with the things she had to do as the slave of the Lord of the Underworld. Hades did not play games, and Keres was sometimes sent to do his dirty work. You know, things that didn't require Hades' powers. But, after all, she wasn't herself when she was in the Underworld. She was someone else, something soulless. Bound to do what Hades wanted her to do.
"So, you strike me as very different from your father, Lumina," Keres began "Do you want to disassociate yourself from him? I can see why you might feel stuck in his shadow, as it were."
