Cassie nodded slowly, understanding that she would have to kill something eventually. "I just don't want to be the kind of vampire that kills people or the kind that kills for sport." Those were the vampires she and other vampire hunters went after the most - the ones that held no respect for life, human or animal, and did whatever the hell they wanted.

liz Sure! Sorry for poofing, I fell asleep. Also Misty are our vamps able to use compulsion?) Margot Linus, 22,shoulder length brown hair with blond highlights, coffee colored eyes, tall wiry figure, shes very sarcastic and funny. Those are probably her two biggest traits. Adrian nodded slowly. " Well your first meal has to be human, if you drink anything that isn't straight from a human vein, you'll barf it up. After that, you can probably drink from a blood bag, then after getting used to that, you can drink animal blood. It's a process." He ran his fingers through his hair and started walking toward the small house he stole.

(Sure ^^)
"But I don't want to kill that human," Cassie stated as she pulled the hair band out of her hair and pushed it onto her wrist. She then pushed a hand through her hair before shaking her head. "There has to be an alternative to that."

He smiled" Thats where compulsion comes in. When you become a vampire a few different things happen, you get very strong and fast, you are cursed to drink blood for the rest of your days, one step in the sun and your toast, literally, and last but not least you get to tell anyone to do anything and they have to do it. It a perk. I'm assuming you know what compulsion is though? Since your a hunter-was a hunter, sorry." he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

Cassie nodded slowly as he spoke, already familiar with what qualities separated vampires from humans. She didn't say anything about that because she didn't want to upset him and lose her shot at having him guide her through the adjustment. That did not, however, stop her from speaking at all. "Please don't remind me that I'm no longer able to continue with my job," she stated firmly, shooting him a look that warned him to back off before she became angry again. "But I'm familiar with the concept."

Diana Archer, 22, long wavy auburn hair that reaches her lower back, hazel green eyes, tall and lean, very witty and sarcastic, calls herself Diana the Huntress when drunk (or when her ego is inflated by a successful hunt, bitter at the world but still loveable. Looks like she could kill you, acts like a delicate flower, yet could actually kill you. }}

Adrian nodded. " Very well, now lets go get you something eat." By the time they got to the city, the sky was dark and it was overcast so you couldn't see the stars or the moon. " Now you have compulsion so after you feed on someone, tell them not to remember what happened, its as simple as that. Now I like to think theres an art to picking your meal, pick them for who they look like they are. A druggie, no you don't want that kind of a buzz, that guy who smells, you really want drink that blood? See what I mean? Its all about who you choose."
Margot woke up from a deep sleep, she was in the passenger seat of Diana's truck. " What time is it?" she asked even though she could clearly see the time on the dashboard. " Where are we? I was out for a while." Now that she could not see. They were in the middle of nowhere going to to the middle of nowhere. Margot had always been the more reluctant of the two when it came to hunting. But Diana had convinced her it was the right thing to do. And that was something that drove Margot, the desire to do whats right.

"Good morning sleeping beauty," Diana said, glancing down from the road to look at her best friend. Giving a crooked smile, she looked back up at the road and said over the gentle hum of the radio, "It's a quarter past six and we're entering Missouri now." Turning the radio up, she laughed softly and said, "I didn't know it was Sunday. They always play acoustics on Sunday." Consistency was something Diana leaned on desperately; she had learned the hard way that nothing lasted long. Drumming her fingers on the wheel she hummed softly to the music and fought off a yawn. "Tell me again why you woke me up in the middle of the night so we could drive all the way here?"

Rubbing her head she thought about what she had learned the day before." You remember, that guy called and said his girlfriends house was being haunted. I spoke to her on the phone, it seems legit. Lights flickering all the time, things moving on their own. The norm." She sat up and pulled her hair into a ponytail. " How long till we get to Kansas City?" She asked, still yawning. She reached into the backseat, where her Doritos were. She handed the bag to her best friend.

Cassie nodded once, remaining silent as she followed him back into the city. Once in the city, she listened to what Adrian was saying. “So what you’re basically telling me is to judge someone’s appearance so I can make a quick assumption about whether they’d have good blood.”

"This is why you're my best friend," Diana moaned before pulling the bag open and stuffing her mouth with the nacho cheesy goodness. "Ten minutes tops," she said, her words muffled by the insane amount of chips in her mouth. Swallowing the handful down, she smiled and said, "I was reading up on Kansas City and I think we need to have their barbecue for dinner. It's their most famous food here. And guess what their most famous for." Not giving her a chance to reply, she tried to maintain her laughter as she asked smoothly, "You like jazzzz?" Yep, most definitely sleep deprived.

Adrian smiled smugly " Thats exactly what I'm telling you to do, you see when I first saw you I knew your blood would be tasty, and oh it was! Mmmmmmm." He licked his lips and his smiled faded when he caught sight of someone in the distance. He pointed "Thats who you wanna go for." It was a man, probably early twenties, he looked like a hiker. "Hiker, granola bar people, they have greatttttt blood." Adrian was still a little messed up from draining Cassie.
Margot squealed " Yay! We get to slay demons, we get to slay demons!" She smiled, " I happen to LOVE Jazz and bbqs so I'm good. You want me to drive now, you look tired." She grabbed a napkin and handed it to her best friend, nacho cheese lined her lips. " Nice look, I think orange is your color." She burst into laughter. The young woman open the hand crank window and put her head out, hair whipping back and forth.

"No, no its fine, only ten more minutes and then I can sleep for a few hours before we head over to the crime scene." Glancing over at Margot, she watched her stick her head out of the window before adding, "Besides, remember what happened last time I let you drive my Baby Girl? You forgot where you parked her! It took me hours to find her and when I did, there was a stray dog peeing on her!" Petting the car, she cooed lovingly, "Ain't nobody treating you right 'cept me."

Margot scowled " I was distracted by that hot guy, which you were so happy to tear me from. Can we get food when we get in though,I know you could live on just Doritos and water, but this gal can't." She smiled and put more in her mouth, just to satisfy the need to chew. " So really the job is just a normal exorcism, were gonna have to find another gig."

“I don’t need you telling me how good I tasted,” she said sharply as she turned to face him. “Don’t p--- me off.” Cassie then turned again and took off in the direction of the hiker Adrian had pointed out. Once behind him, she covered his mouth and told him to relax. Once he did, she – hesitantly – sunk her teeth into his neck and drank. As much as instinct told her to not pull away, her morals told her to, so she did. She licked her lips, savoring the flavor and momentarily forgetting what she had just drank. Finished, she wiped her lips on her hand and told the hiker that he wouldn’t remember what truly happened, and that he wouldn’t notice the new scar on the side of his neck. Cassie then told him to go, to continue along his way, and she remained standing in place.

"OK, ok!" He put his hands up as if she was holding a weapon. He clapped behind her " Wow, you did really good for your first time, I thought i'd have to pull you off of him. How'd it taste?" He said putting emphasis on taste. He really wasn't as big a jerk as he appeared to be. The jerk was just the walls he put up to hide the fact that he hated his life.

"Let's just find a simple salt and burn, those are always fun," Diana said, popping another chip into her mouth. "But yeah, let's get some grub. Shout when you see a place, I can't remember the last time we sat down and actually ate good food." Which was partially Acher's fault, she was always hungry for a hunt, she hardly took a break. Even when they were in between jobs, she'd sneak off in the middle of the night to kill a local vampire or read up on lore.

"okey dokey.and I don't think i can either." Margot closed her eyes for a moment, what would she be doing now if she wasn't a hunter? She would probably have a boyfriend or a husband and maybe even a kid. But that didn't really feel right to her, thats why she became a hunter in the first place She would give up those dreams to make others come true. She opened her eyes again and as luck would have it she saw a little 60s diner. "THERE!" she yelled and probably scared her bestie half to death.

“Well, you thought wrong,” Cassie stated as she turned to face him, not wanting to admit that she almost didn’t pull away from the hiker. Her only explanation for being able to not drain him was that her opposition to killing a human was the sole reason she pulled away from him. She briefly glared at him as he emphasized the taste. “I don’t want to answer that.”

He pouted, " Your no fun, even after feeding, its like getting high for a vamp, how boring you must've been as a human." Anyway, it looks like you got the handle of this so I'm gonna go." Just as he was turning to leave he realized that he had left the herbs he wanted at the apartment. So he started toward the apartment, but first going in the direction of his home to make sure he wasn't followed.

"Jesus Christ!" Diana said, her car swerving as she jerked the wheel. Punching Margot in the shoulder, she grumbled and pulled into a parking spot in front of the dinner. "My whole life just flashed in front of my eyes front eyes, and it sucked."

Cassie rolled her eyes before resting her hands on her hips. “Well excuse me for not wanting to get a meal that way,” she stated. “And I’ll let you know that I wasn’t boring as a human. I was a freaking vampire hunter. Just imagine all the adrenaline rushes I had to have experienced.” She watched Adrian as he walked away, not sure about what to do next. She didn’t want to risk returning to her apartment out of fear she’d do something to someone on her way home. She also had to quit her job – there was no way she could continue it as a vampire – but she didn’t know what excuse she would give.

Margot threw her head back with laughter, clapping and making no noise for a good ten seconds, then gasped and started laughing again. She had almost peed her pants by the time she got control again. "That was funny." She said with a smile, her cheeks red from laughing so hard. She got out of the car, "Oh man, I have no makeup on, oh well."
Adrian walked the whole way there, a long walk for most, but when you live forever its not much. He went up to the apartment that he had owned a long time ago, this time being very careful he wasn't being followed. He looked underneath the floorboard and found his herbs, and made his way out. He whistled as he walked home. then he felt a buzz in his pocket. He fumbled for his phone and found that one of his vampire friends had texted. " Theres a newb down near the grill, did you turn her?" Adrian texted back" yeah, she was a hunter and came after me with a toothpick. Don't bug her though, she's fricken pissed."

"Let's just get some food, get a room and suit up. I'm thinking Agents Street and Ville today." Diana said, finding her own little joke amusing; on a drunken whim she'd made two fake ids, hers being Ms. Bourbon Street and Margot's being Ms. Margarita Ville. "And, uh, you're buying breakfast." Before Margot replied, Diana raced into the dinner, laughing maniacally before being led to a booth by an only woman who called her laugh cute.

Cassie let out a sigh before sitting on the ground. She ran a hand through her navy blue hair before letting out another sigh. She loved her hair color, but she wasn’t sure how she would maintain it now that she was a vampire. Whether she did it herself or got it done, she would have to interact with people at some point, and a large part of her was scared that she would do something to someone that she would regret. “Why did he have to do this?” she asked softly.
