Inner Demons In a small village, there is a family who is known to possess bad luck and a curse that appears every other generation. The family is often thought to be mad, especially since there has been a great deal of suicides that seem to plague their family and those who come into contact with them.
They are a very tight knit bunch who are very closed off to the world. Those who are not plagued by the curse still seem unstable and over-protective of loved ones who do suffer. The curse it's self is very simple. Those cursed can see and hear creatures all around them that seem to live off the suffering of humans. They are naturally drawn to those who are cursed and often whisper dark thoughts to them. It often drives a cursed one insane and leads to their suicide. Some of the townsfolk believe in the curse, while others are more skeptical and just believe that the family is mental.
The cursed one (let's call her/him CO) of this roleplay had developed the cursed at a very young age. The curse usually sets in around the age of 15 but s/he was unlucky and got it at the age of only 7. However, s/he found relief in a childhood friend. This friend was unlike anyone in the town and was an opposite of the CO. While s/he attracted the demons, their friend repulsed them. On occasion, if the demon was strong enough, the friend was even able to see them. Due to these attributes, the CO was often very dependent on his/her friend.
However, as s/he got older, the friend wasn't able to repulse the demons as well as before and the CO began down a dark path that many of his/her family seemed to follow. The friend notices these changes and became determined to find an end to the curse of his/her family. After some convincing, the CO agrees to travel out of the safety of their village to try and put an end to the curse before it got to her/him.
Alrighty xD Finally got it up! Sorry I’m blanking a little right now but is there anything else we need to go over??

Abigail ‘Abby’ Gade Age 20
Abby was born to the infamously cursed family and since the curse skipped her parents, it ended up being her burden to bear at an age much younger than was previously expect. Her parents weren’t very helpful to her situation either. They provided her with basic necessities and then began to distance themselves from her, afraid of growing too attached to the daughter they believe is doomed to die. Other than her parents, the only other company and companion Abby had was her childhood friend. - Abby is a mixture of dependent and independent. She has practically raised herself due to the distance of her parents and the rest of the village. She knows the basics of fending for herself but there is one major issue that gets in the way of that, her curse. Due to her curse, there are many times Abby feels helpless and weak. In these times the only person she can turn to is her close friend. She depends heavily on him for support as well as a reminder to fight against the curse.
- Life has left her damaged. Small hints of the true Abby are hidden behind layers of anxiety, pessimism, and depression. Though she is young, rarely is there a chance that she shows evidence of the person she might have been if she was not afflicted with the curse. Like an old warrior that has simply been through too much, Abby continues to feel like her life is more of a burden than a blessing, likely a side effect of the curse.
- Before the curse truly took hold of her, Abby was lively and bright. She was fiery, stubborn and playful. Only small bits of this remain and are often hard to bring out of her. Abby often tries to fake such traits in order to keep her friend from worrying too much.
