Sagetail smoothed a ruffled bit of fur on her chest, nodding to Rosebrair that she could get off Fernpaw now. "First rule when your defending yourself against two cats: never let them out of your sight." The warrior explained, her tail tip twitching, "make sure they're always in front of you, even if that means attacking first." _____________________________________
Basilfoot sat at the edge of camp, looking around lazily. The small wound in his paw had begun to heal over, so he was hoping for someone to go hunting with. He spotted Rosethorn sitting further along, and he got to his paws. "Hello Rosethorn," he mewed as he approached.

"Greetings, Basilfoot.", RoseThorn mewed in reply, noticing the tom."The others seem to be out of camp.", he remarked, looking around the empty camp. He flicked his tail to the place next to him. " Care to lay down?", Rosethorn asked the tom.

Basilfoot cast the Tom a curious glance before settling down next to him. "It appears that everyone is either training, hunting or patrolling at the moment." He remarked, "aside from Lightningsong and Morningpath, who just got together." Basilfoot gave a snort of laughter, "they've been running around together for such a long time; but they never realized the other liked them."

"Oh" Fernpaw squeaked still under Rosebriar' s weight. She struggled and stood up. She shook the dirt off of her fur and got back in a stance to fight.
Rosebriar stepped back as Fernpaw stood up and prepared to fight again. She was happy that the apprentices would learn something new but was confused why her own apprentice had been missing.

Rosethorn chuckled at the tom's remark on the couple. "They must be mousebrained." , he mewed in reply. His feathery tail swayed behind him happily. It's nice to make friends, he thought.

Basilfoot's eyes became more serious, "Not really," he mewed, looking at the other Tom, "just... a bit shy." He licked his paw, drawing it over his ears. ___________________________________________
Sagetail waited until Fernpaw had recovered slightly, "Ready?" she asked, getting back into a fighting stance. Without waiting for a reply, she began circling the apprentice again, hoping that Rosebrair would try to distract her. ___________________________________________
Cinderpaw watched with wide eyes, trying to pick up all the techniques that were being used. She hoped she would remember them when it got to her turn.

She continued to turn and lashed a paw towards Sagetail. Rosebriar watched Fernpaw and waited for the best time to attack. She waited for Fernpaw to turn and jumped on her.

"Hm.. I suppose your right, Some new couples are always shy in public..", he mewed, resting his chin on his paws. He let out a yawn. "They do fit each other well.". He purred from the coolness of the shade.

Sagetail stumbled to the side as Fernpaw hit her paw, but she quickly regained her balance. She sidestepped as Rosebrair jumped onto the apprentice and then swiped Fernpaw's legs from under her again. The Warrior took a step back, letting her friend handle the situation. "I think you should have a rest." She mewed to Fernpaw, "after Cinderpaw has had a try we can show you some proper techniques." _______________
Basilfoot nodded, but didn't say anything. He simply continued to clean his ears, watching Lightningsong and Morningpath silently.

Rosethorn watched Basilfoot, his eyes curious. He rolled onto his back, his tail flicking happily. "Your paw.", he mewed, looking at Basilfoot's wounded paw. "What happened to it?".

(Hey guys, sorry I've been gone for so long. I was visiting my friends in Australia and the wifi wasn't always that great. Sorry if I inconvenienced any of the rp) Basilfoot glanced at his paw, "Nothing really," he gave the wound a quick lick, "I just stepped on a thorn in the forest." ( Seahebi) _____________________________________________ Cinderpaw stepped forwards, her whiskers twitching with nervous excitement. She have Fernpaw a sympathetic glance. It wasn't easy to fight a fully trained warrior and come out without some bruises; let alone two warriors attacking you at once. The she-cat took a deep breath and readied herself for the fight, her eyes darting from one cat to the other. Sagetail drew her tongue over her paw before standing up. "Try and learn from what Fernpaw did," she instructed the apprentice. The warrior nodded to Rosebrair, signalling that her friend should take the lead. ( Mother Dark)

Rosebriar walked around Cinderpaw trying to see if she would follow her or watch Sagetail. She darted in and struck her before backing up again.
Fernpaw not knowing what to do sat in silence so she wouldn't distract her friend.

(Look forward to rp-ing with you more ) Cinderpaw stumbled as Rosebrair struck her paw, and she quickly tried to regain her balance. She hadn't been paying enough attention to the warrior. Shaking her head, she darted towards Rosebrair and tried to hit her paws out from under her. Cinderpaw assumed that surprise and speed were the way to go in this type of fight. Sagetail watched as Cinderpaw turned away from her to attack Rosebrair. She laughed softly before jumping onto the apprentice's back and gripping her with her claws.

OrchardStar padded out of her den, stretching. the clearing was busy with warriors and apprentices going about their days, and she felt pleased with how her clan was striving.
LightBringer dozed in the sun with her kits playing around her
TwistedBreeze returned from hunting with a rabbit, and searched around for his mate.

Whitefoot stared at the medicine cat. He thought he heard a voice in his head. "I'll help you," it said.

( lightbringer Could Orchardstar and Basilfoot go out hunting or so?) Cinderpaw yelped as a weight appeared on her back, and she instinctively rolled over. It seemed that Sagetail had attacked her from behind. While you were looking away she scolded herself, continuing to roll around on the ground. The breath was knocked out of Sagetail as she hit the ground, and she felt her claws loosen in Cinderpaw's fur. It seemed that the apprentice's natural instincts were good enough to protect her from a single attack. But this wasn't a single attack Cinderpaw noticed that the warrior's grip faltered, and she jumped to her paws. With her claws sheathed, she aimed for Sagetail's belly, hoping that would 'injure' the warrior.

Cinderpaw was caught off guard by Rosebrair's attack. I should have remembered to watch out for her she scolded herself, struggling to get out of the warriors grasp. After a few moments, she went limp to show that she had given up. The apprentice hoped that she wouldn't get scolded for her forgetfulness.
Sagetail got to her paws, shaking the dust off her fur. "Not bad for your first try." she mewed, impressed that the young apprentice had managed to throw her off. "Once more and then we'll show you some techniques." She nodded to her friend to show that she should let Cinderpaw get up. "You can start this time Rosebrair."

(Morning Light, how's it going?)
Cinderpaw stumbled with surprise at the sudden attack, and her cheek stung where she had been hit. After regaining her balance she started forwards, using her paws to grab hold of Rosebrair's neck. With a twist she pulled the warrior to the ground, attempting to pin her down using her hindlegs.
Sagetail stood close by, ready to jump in if Rosebrair wasn't able to free herself.
