Hello my lovelies! I know it's been a long time since I posted anything, but I find it hard to stay away from the wonderful WFF community. These past two years have been super hectic for me, with finishing up school and all, and that means that I haven't been able to be as active on here as I'd like. I can't remember the last time I made a new thread, let alone a new story, so I'm back, with a brand-new, low-maintenance way to be involved in our little community!
I remember a while ago I was planning to make a character development crash course, but due to my hectic schedule, the idea never came to fruition. This little project will be a simplified version of that. this is a place for you guys to develop your characters, through a series of questions and prompts.
How this works; Every Monday, I will be posting a new prompt, designed to push your characters to the limit. Each prompt will focus on a specific scenario or trait, and will be designed to get you to think about the aspects of your character you normally wouldn't.
You will have a week to work on the prompt before the next one is posted. A list of past prompts will be kept below, so you can answer them as many times as you like, for as many characters as you like! Don't mind me - I'll probably do it as well, because I can't resist working on my characters!
This is not a competition. I will not be judging you on the development of your OC. This is purely for you, so have a bit of fun with it! If you like, you may request some feedback or pointers, and I'll happily give you some advice!
Happy trails!

Got half way done but I really need to eat/sleep sooooooo have about half of a Cole also a few of these are actually like short event stories and ?? he's turning out to be different than I thought he would be. Than I wrote him before. Granted, I've only written him a little bit, maybe like 2k words his perspective, but still he's been in my brain for over two years now and geez he's actually getting some dimension out of this. Like reason he's so disconnected from the world, but tries so hard to find any kind of meaning in his life. Why he grabs onto Cal as quickly as he does, the significance of him taking her back to his home. It all fits a little better now. Feels really good. Seriously guys if you were questioning whether or not to do this just do it. Seriously. I've done some of these in the past but this one really makes you think, and even after half of these I feel I did a lot 1. What is your full name? Cole Edward Justice
2. Where and when were you born? November 5th. The normal place, probably.
3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.) Sarah and Edward. They were only together due to the Pairing. Edward was
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like? Not any full ones, the Pairing, duh. Probably a few partial siblings. Both my parents were young when they had me, so probably some younger half-siblings around somewhere, but how would I know if I saw one?
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people. Well I used to live with the rest of my group. Frisk-6-19. Janice, Liz, Yan, Patricia, Toby and I. But then Toby and Liz became a thing, which made Janice angry since she liked Toby and-- well that's history. Thing is, more than punches were thrown that night. I think Yan's still alive, somewhere. He has the cunning to live in Frisk. I try not to remember much about the old haunt and the old faces. That was over three years ago now. I found my own place a few months after the big fight. I found a apartment complex that had been under construction and just never finished. Third floor, no way in from the inside, only from the window and fire escape. The inside is just the wall beams. Best part is there's running water in both the kitchen and bathroom tap once I got the plumbing wired up. I took a bedroom for my own, just a mattress on the floor, a pile for clothes. I don't spend much time in there. Most my day is in the main room, both the kitchen, dining and den all at once. Well the kitchen is only a sink and a plank counter and the kitchen is only a oval table I brought in peices through the window. Broke the last ladder off though, which sucks. There's three chairs. Don't know why I never get company. The rest is just a large open space crossed with a few wall beams that never got drywalled over. A nice little haunt for me to rest in peace.
6. What is your occupation? Hard question, but unfortunately I'm a Frisk resident so I do what I can. Usually repurposing old things, I'm one of the only ones with the balls to scavenge around Ruby sector, so that usually makes me enough to get around well, better than most.
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks. I'm tallish at 5'11. Average build, 180lbs. I have short, shaggy, reddish brown hair. Grey-hazel eyes. Little bit of freckles that multiply in the cold or hot. I have a scar under my left eye, just a little chink out of the top of my cheekbone. Got it from tripping over the floor in seventh year and hitting one of those metal desks. Four stitches and fourteen years later... Supposedly I have a lot of Irish and British blood in me. I usually dress with a dark tee of some sort and I've found capris, for all their fashion taboo, are the most useful wear. Enough pockets for odds and ends. Gives some knee protection for wall climbing, but aren't sweltering in the sun.
8. To which social class do you belong? Well everyone outside the gem sectors are poor, but out of those... I do pretty well. Not as well as Amelia or really anyone in scald, but better than most other frisks except the hardcore gangsters.
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses? Luckily nope.
10. Are you right- or left-handed? Right.
11. What does your voice sound like? How would you quantify this? My voice is pretty average of tenor, but it's higher pitched when I talk fast. Kinda stupid.
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently? Not that I know of.
13. What do you have in your pockets? Some cash. At least two dust bombs. A beep machine, lockpicking set, black cloth (Frisk sign). I keep a shiv in my shoe sometimes.
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? I shrug a lot. I also don't like talking too much. Fewer words mean fewer people angry at you.
15. How would you describe your childhood in general? A lot better than the real world, that's for sure. I don't remember really anything concrete before Prim, only feelings and thoughts of running around in the corner courtyards, but I do remember causing a bunch of trouble in Prim. I think I was the only one to have pulled that many pranks that didn't get expelled. It was all fun back then, all a big joke. I didn't think about my future, just how much hell I could raise while I still had the chance. Good times. Got a great reputation around there, too bad it all meant nothing once I hit 15.
16. What is your earliest memory? Coming to Prim for the first time. Walking down the middle of Nile to the doors of Prim, with all those people silently watching. That was when I really realized how much we were hated in our society. How only one in a hundred of us would be kept in Ruby, the rest of us sent out to do whatever we can to survive. That reality slammed down on me at that moment.
17. How much schooling have you had? Same as everyone else that was a Paired kid: 1-4 in Prees, 5-15 in Prim.
18. Did you enjoy school? As much as I could. We didn't have schooling really, just classes. A little english, a little chemistry, and lot of history. Bored me to death, I knew it all in the first year. I liked learning, but I didn't want to become a bookworm nerd so I just didn't. Though I did research enough chemistry to pull my pranks and not get everyone killed. I liked chemistry when it actually applied to, ya know, blowing things up in a very spectacular way.
19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities? On the streets, though I learned how to patch up after a fight earlier than that. My group and I learned together. That first year we hardly were apart. Yan had a friend in another group, Riley, and managed to get us on our feet early. In frisk, you don't live long if you don't know how to make friends instead of enemies. We stayed with Yan's contact and the three left in their group for a few weeks until we set up our own haunt a few floors above theirs. They were actually nice, though I suspect we were used more as cannon fodder when we went out on raids and hunts, but at least they helped us all survive until we learned how to take care of ourselves. A raid left only two of the older group left, Tammy and Rem, and they moved into another gang instead.
20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them. There was this one kid, when I was in Seventh, he was in Fourteenth, second to last year. He helped me pull some of my weirder pranks that year, really got me into it. Made me from a tack-on-the-chair kid into a dust-bomb-the-hallway kid. I never knew his real name, we all just called him "Noir" like black in french. He liked those dead languages, always used words from them to sound cool.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family? Never met them.
22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? Honestly, I didn't have plans at all. I wanted to make as big a mess as I could when I was younger, knew I wouldn't get to stay in Ruby anyways being a Paired kid and all. I didn't have a future, no point in making up a fantasy one for my dreamlands.
23. As a child, what were your favorite activities? For all the trouble I caused, I really enjoyed the basement of one of the towers. It was dark, and against one wall was warm because the kitchen ovens were right on the other side. I liked to nap there, just to disappear for a while.
24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display? I was pretty obnoxious. Stuck up, stubborn, a rebel to the end.
25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like? More like infamous. And I didn't really have friends. I didn't trust anyone, no one trusted me. I was popular, but not in that has-many-friends way, but the always-lonely way that comes with being a prankster.
26. When and with whom was your first kiss? Thirteenth year. I think her name was Tabitha. Blonde, tall, popular. She wanted adventure, so I smuggled some rope and we climbed up into the Wall and watched the lights in the sectors. At thirteen, a kiss was an adventure.
27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity? nah. It was just after the breakup of my group. I was eighteen, she was twenty one.
28. Describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today. This question seems like a repeat of everything more specific already listed.
29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far? Well there's really three events that shaped my life: one good, one bad, and one I had nothing to do with. I couldn't help that I was born a Paired child. Maybe not an event, but born the poorest of the poor without even a family, just a set of genes that would hopefully become something better than my roots. Not that I ever did. Everything I am and I will ever be is because I am a Paired child. That's it. My choices can alter the details, but never that big picture. It's something bigger than I am. The good is meeting Cal. Well, deciding to follow that shadowed figure that would be Cal and later convincing her not to shoot my head off. Once I met Cal, it wasn't just me. We were a unit: Cal and Cole, Cole and Cal. Them. Us. Plural. I hardly ever worked a solo mission again. I had someone I could trust, someone I could rely on. That changed my life and I would not have been able to do anything I did without her. The bad. Janice killed Toby. Stabbed him right through the neck in the middle of dinner. Liz killed Janice. Not directly, the wound wasn't fatal. But it infected and she died anyways. Patricia ran. Yan faded away after we found Liz's body the next morning. One night and my comfortable life with five friends turned into one where I was always hungry, cold and terrified I'd wake up dead. And the worst part is that I could have stopped it. I was sitting next to Janice. She looked agitated, confused. I should have seen her twisting the knife under the table, I should have seen the glares at Liz, at Toby. I knew she liked Toby. I knew that. I should have known but I didn't and it flipped my life around.
30. Who has had the most influence on you?
31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
32. What is your greatest regret? I didn't stop #29. I could have. I knew I could have. But I didn't.
33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?
34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?
35. When was the time you were the most frightened?
36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?
38. What is your best memory?
39. What is your worst memory?
40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic? Pessimist. My life was predetermined since before I was born, since before I was even conceived. My life was decided by the contract my parents both signed to get money, donating their genetics to make me and sending me off the day I was born to be raised by the system as a kid who was nothing other than another person born of a Pairing. Yeah I think I'm a pessimist.
41. What is your greatest fear? Heights. That's it.
42. What are your religious views? If there's someone watching over me, he sure has crappy humor that's for sure.
43. What are your political views? The government is so distant from I, they seem more like gods than human beings. Honestly, I don't think they are human. If so, they must have left their humanity far behind. The police are almost like government, but they have a good deal of sector dust on them too. I've learned they're to be respected, feared maybe, but more of make wrongdoings not stupid obvious because then they'll be forced to step in. Carry some bribes for good measure. Keep a couple under leverage for if you need to cross sector borders, that kind of thing. I think how people are treated is wrong, but I'm a realist. The last time a sector tried to rise up, they got bombed off the map.
44. What are your views on relationships? Romantically? A good distraction. Having someone to trust, someone to be there, someone to make the day a little bit brighter. It's worth a lot when there's really nothing left in this broken world to live for.
45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable? Well yeah this is Frisk after all. There hasn't been a day passed without some sort of murder happening. I've done it myself, but only twice. Once was by mistake. I was at a party, came with Yan and Toby and Riley and Duke. It was a recipe for disaster, at least for me: crowds, heights (on the roof of a four story building), more than a little drink. We were talking around, trying to make our lives a little less pitiful. Somehow I didn't get the memo that the others were going for another set of drinks, and at the same time I managed to let slip my fear of heights. Two dudes thought it would be funny to put me to the edge, and with my anxiety in general from the situation and my brain not quite up to full speed, I couldn't get away from them until we were nearly at the edge. I finally landed a kick in one of their knees and, probably having a few too many drinks himself, he just stumbled right off the building. The other guy left me alone pretty quick and my group eventually found me, but I didn't really know what to do. I was only just sixteen at the time, barely a year under my belt and most of that sheltered under Riley and Duke's tutledge. The worst part about that one was the fact that no one cared. Some people saw it, but no one did a thing, just carried on as if nothing had happened. The second was on purpose. She was dying, had been dying, for months before. She could hardly walk, had nothing to steal, and was only tormented day after day. She was below my balcony. Holed up by the wall. Two days passed and she didn't even move. I took a knife with me. She barely had enough energy to smile. I never really found killing a necessity. I stay out of fights now, knowing it's safer just not to pick them, or if I do, pick ones I can win. Intimidation works, so does a well placed smoke bomb or a measured punch in the jaw. Stealth was my friend; no one knew where I stayed, so I was never trapped down by my foes. I wouldn't hesitate to kill if I had to. That's reality. But I wouldn't go out looking for a fight. Killing just angers friends, a fact I learned three years ago, and that was more trouble.
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do? Make another person's life their own. Make all of their choices, strip them of their own free will. Take a human and make them an object of their whims.
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love? Sure. There's bound to be one person in the world that can truly be my other half, my perfect partner. Maybe not even romantically, but just one person that would be the perfect other person to always stand by my side. If it's me, though, I hope she's hot.
48. What do you believe makes a successful life? Freedom and happiness. All other things are only ways to that goal.
49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)? I usually don't speak my mind, mostly because that's the quickest way to get myself stabbed and, speaking from experience, I'd rather that not happen as much as possible. We all act tough. Weaknesses mean you get cheated. But acting all high-and-mighty gets you shot down just as fast. Better to remain anonymous, a voice in the shadows. Good at what you do, but don't flaunt it. Do your job and do it well and suck up to those who can order you dead.
50. Do you have any biases or prejudices? Gem sectors are rich. Others are poor. Oh wait that's reality. More realities: Scalds are techies, frisks are thieves, tenors are all happy-go-lucky flowery choir girls.
51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it? No. I would be severely opposed to murdering an innocent, I would hate to force someone out of their choice, I would never want to kiss a man, but if it were life or death... well if you live at least you have a chance to fix things. Can't do anything about anything if you're already dead.
52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)? Right now, nothing. Call me selfish, but I want to survive as long as I can. Not that I expect anything to change, but it's still something and I'd rather have a good shot at it.
53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?
54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why? 56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people. 57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person. 58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened. 59. What do you look for in a potential lover? 60. How close are you to your family? 61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not? 62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help? 63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why? 64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you? 65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why? 66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict? 67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations? 68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not? 69. Do you care what others think of you? 70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes? 71. What is your most treasured possession? 72. What is your favorite color? 73. What is your favorite food? 74. What, if anything, do you like to read? 75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)? 76. Do you smoke or drink? If so, why? Do you want to quit? 77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night? 78. What makes you laugh? 79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you? 80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself? 81. How do you deal with stress? 82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan? 83. What are your pet peeves? 84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted? 85. What is your greatest strength as a person? 86. What is your greatest weakness? 87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? 88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted? 89. Are you generally organized or messy? 90. I'm glad you guys are keen for this so far! Do it as many times as you like!
I'll probably post my answers sometime tomorrow c:
Brownie: I'm glad you found it helpful, and I'm glad your oc is starting to come together so nicely! I agree - this particular set of questions has always been my favourite, since it makes you think about things that you normally wouldn't. I'm not gonna lie and say that I get really into character when I answer these, as well XD I try to make each 'voice' as such distinct, so it's easy to tell which character is is based on their mannerisms/way of talking. That in itself is a fun exercise.
I'm gonna read all your answers now!

mk I'll probably finish him out after my exams today
tbh the best question so far was on the murder. I never really thought about if he would have killed before. Being in a pretty violent dystopia, death is just kind of there, and it makes sense that he'd deal it out to keep himself alive. Luckily he wouldn't be on the very violent side of Frisk and his group wouldn't have let him just kill, and after he left the group that would have been self-imposed out of trauma from, ya know, seeing four of them fight to the death. so yeah that was a great question I never even thought about before.

I made one for Tom (OC I use in a vampire RP). I'm half way done. It's nice that I finally have a date of birth for him.

This is what I got so far. x'D Working on it though! 1. What is your full name?
Itzala Blackmore. ( Itzala = Shadow in basque. ) My Blackmore family lineage all had very dark hair, nearly black unless you look at the color under direct and bright sunlight; that's why it's BLACKmore.
2. Where and when were you born?
I was born in the Blackmore camp under the supervision of our shaman. I was told my mother had gone out into the pinewood to give birth, but our chieftain, Malar Blackmore, and her bonded, came and brought her back. The day was October, 27th in the evening time. (7:00 pm)
3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
My father was Malar Blackmore. He became a Blackmore by becoming bonded to my mother. (Bonded = Marriage) He was chieftain for over 20 years and led with a cunning mind. He wasn't big on instigating fights, but was more responsive and defensive. It worked up until the un-pledged rogues came and overtook the clans. After my sister and I were born he became very distant with my mother and never gave much heed to our existence. He continued to coddle and praise my three older siblings. Only later did I find out that Malar wasn't my true, biological father, and my three older siblings were only half-siblings. He died when the rogues, lead by their leader Snow, came and invaded our lands.
My mother was Clenith Blackmore. Because she was a woman she never became a warrior, but was a prominent figure among our clan because of her bloodline. She was a skilled huntress with a patient and nurturing attitude. She enjoyed knitting and basket weaving; anything that kept her hands and mind busy. I figure now it was because of the immense pressure and knowledge on her shoulders about our families curse. She knew she was going to die many years before it was going to happen. She is the bravest, and most selfless person I had ever known. She perished helping her family and clan mates escape during an avalanche when I was just seven years old.
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
I had four siblings in total. The oldest three were my half-siblings.
Sauron Blackmore; My eldest and only brother, Sauron was the mediator and the realistic rationalist. He was seven years older than me, and stood at 5'5 when he was just 14. He had Malar's unusual light, honey blonde hair and deep, watery blue eyes. Those eyes were always smiling. He was protective of us; his sisters, and was going to be a great asset to our clan. He died in the avalanche that took our mother when I was seven. He was also helping others escape.
Terra Blackmore; My eldest sister and second oldest sibling. Terra was a feisty, spit-fire spirit full of charisma and hostility unmatched by any warrior in our clan. She was one of the few girls born who desired to hold a weapon in her hands. She was fierce and talented enough to do so, earning respect from many of the men in our clan. She spent most of her time training and sharpening her weapons. Her favorite past time though was fishing. No one else in the clan ever dared fish in fear of angering our neighboring clan, the Maris Clan, who had most of the lake inside their territory. If she had lived, she would have made a terrifying warrior. She died just short of eighteen in a border skirmish with the Maris Clan.
Nadine Blackmore; The third oldest sibling and the youngest of my half-siblings, Nadine was the gentle flower full of innocence and ignorance...for a time. As a young girl she loved hearing elders tales about tragic and doomed love stories, and as she got older she quickly learned she had a passion for helping others. She became our shamans apprentice and traded bed time stories for herbs and bandages. With her gaining of knowledge, she also became more aware of my own predicament with our families curse. It was a miracle I kept her from finding out the truth for so long, but in the end, it was her sacrifice that gave me the chance to end the suffering. She died at the age of 23.
Brezia Blackmore; My twin sister in many aspects. At a young age she and I stuck to each other like glue, never leaving the other behind. Even when my friend Ethuran came into the picture, Brezia still stayed by my side. She was the heart of my family, especially after our mother died. She cared for all of us, always making sure we were happy and taking care of ourselves. She was born only minutes after I was on that night on October 27th, and that closeness never left, even when miles separated us. Even when death cleaved us apart.
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
I live in the newly built Blackmore clan camp. Among me are the remnants of my clan, along with newcomers who we have welcomed into our ranks. We try our best to remain optimistic, but it seems the reign of terror that Snow brought will never truly fade.
6. What is your occupation?
I am a warrior of the Blackmore Clan.
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
I am 5'6, about 160 lbs, and have a 'figure eight' figure. I do not appear thin in any sense of the word. I have muscle and curves representing my time of both warriorhood and motherhood. My skin is like pale ivory; you can see my veins pretty clearly in some spots, and if I'm embarrassed or angry, you will know just by seeing the bright red staining my cheeks and neck. It can't be hidden. My hair now is shoulder length and very thick with loose, black curls. My eyes are bi-colored. My right eye is evergreen and my left is a bright yellow; a gift from my cursed ancestors. The right side of my face is graced with a long vertical scar that goes over my eye-lid. I also have faint stretch marks along my stomach from my pregnancy and a slight bump on my spine where it broke and healed too quickly to re-position. You will hardly ever see me out of my fighting leathers. It's become a comfort to me to always be ready. Though, if the occasion demands it, I will pull out a dress...very reluctantly. I usually carry my twin axes on my person at all times. Even with a dress on.
8. To which social class do you belong?
I am a member of the Blackmore Clan. As both a valley clan warrior and a Blackmore with the name of one of the clans attached I have a very high status; second only to a chieftain or shaman.
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
Besides my un-healed spinal column which sometimes becomes stiff or pains me during a fight, nothing that comes to mind.
10. Are you right- or left-handed?
I'm ambidextrous. I never preferred either of my hands, though I do realize my right is stronger, especially after I broke my wrist/arm when I was young. According to my mentor, it grew back stronger. So I do favor it a bit more when fighting.
11. What does your voice sound like?
I've been told it's deeper like a mans, but has a husky femininity. Whatever that means.
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
"So?" "Try me." "I don't care."
13. What do you have in your pockets?
Small knives...
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? 15. How would you describe your childhood in general? 16. What is your earliest memory? 17. How much schooling have you had?
I trained under the mentorship of Critza for a little over seven years. At the age of 14 I was set loose as a young, inexperienced warrior but was still given lessons. At 16 I became a fully fledged warrior but was not truly recognized as one by my clan mates until I was about 20 after a few successful battles and border disputes.
18. Did you enjoy school?
Training is basically a hobby for me. I enjoy honing my body and mind, making myself stronger and faster and more capable of defending myself and my family. Plus, it was always a great way to let off steam fromt he frustrations of daily clan life.
19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?
I learned at the training grounds on the Blackmore Clan's territory under the watchful eye of my mentor Critza and a few other warriors.
20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them. 21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family? 22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A warrior. I always wanted to be a warrior. A feared one. Respected not only for my skill but my mind as well.
23. As a child, what were your favorite activities? 24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display? 25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like? 26. When and with whom was your first kiss? 27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity? 28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today. 29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far? 30. Who has had the most influence on you? 31. What do you consider your greatest achievement? 32. What is your greatest regret? 33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?
Despite many insistent that it wasn't my fault, I did kill one of my daughters. She choked and suffocated on the smoke generated from my flames that burned our makeshift sanctuary while I was alone. I couldn't revive her.
I lean towards more pessimistic. Anyone listening to my life's story could understand.
41. What is your greatest fear? 42. What are your religious views? 43. What are your political views? 44. What are your views on relationships? 45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?
I have killed, and I will kill. I don't enjoy it...at least that's what I tell myself. Those I have killed intentionally were cruel, sadistic, and sometimes misunderstood people who had no lingering thoughts for the lives they had taken. It was justice...no, it was revenge. Plan and simple.
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?
Murder their own flesh and blood.
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love? 48. What do you believe makes a successful life? 49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)? 50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?
No. Those things are trivial and pointless.
51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it? 52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?
Training, horse back riding, and...poetry. .-.
71. What is your most treasured possession?
My twin axes that my bonded, Rush Valeros, made me when I was 17. It was a gift in honor of my warriorhood.
72. What is your favorite color?
Blue.
My love for my family.
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? 88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
I have switched between the two. Now I am reserved, but am not afraid to speak my mind.
89. Are you generally organized or messy?
Beyond messy. Rush would say me trying to get organized was like a great storm blowing through.
90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
Good: Fighting, battle strategy, perseverance in the face of opposition
Bad: Swimming, archery, basket weaving...
91. Do you like yourself? 92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...) 93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime? 94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 95. If you could choose, how would you want to die? 96. ( This is pretty fun! I'll finish it sometime later on! c: )
1. What is your full name? General Major Richardson.
2. Where and when were you born? 3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.) Carla Richardson, my mother, worked at a nursing camp while my father was away. She constantly looks out for everyone, regardless if they like it or not. She was always there when someone needed her, and was always willing to give them soothing, comforting words. She's always willing to listen to another's problems without telling them of her own, and was known for being very gentle, especially around children. She enjoyed spending her day relaxing, after her part-time nursing duties are done, and caring for other kids. She was killed by the insurgent group that raided my home while my father was away in the army.
Daniel "Dagger" Richardson was the commander of the army even before I was born. He was one who was kind, patient, and gentle. Though he could be a bit overly serious, he enjoyed taking time to develop relationships and strengthen the bonds between his soldiers, and is highly respected due to his hard work. He took his role as leader seriously and does not tolerate laziness or ignorance. like me. Despite this, he was a calm man... uses his head more so than his heart, which makes him a good asset in decision making at times, but this can sometimes deem him as overly harsh. He often thinks of the past and wanted to become a good role model. He was killed in the war at 45 years old.
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like? 5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people. 6. What is your occupation? I'm the general of the army and a part-time drill sergeant. I've been in service for 5 years now.
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks. You could say I'm physically strong for a female. I have a large, tall build, standing at 5'8". The most notable of all of my features is my eyes. They've been described as "sharp, fierce, and burning with a crackling, emerald green fire". Some people have said that my eyes seem to glow in the darkness, and, uh, most people who look at me know right off the bat that I don't mess around. My muscles are toned and tough, probably from the years and years of training in the boot camps as a teen. I've heard the rumor that I could break a man's neck with my legs, but no one wants to test out that thesis, I'm sure.
My brown hair is medium-length, the inches longer at my upper back, but I usually tie it up in a messy bun under my hat. I have a long scar that runs down my shoulder, and two small scars on right on top my cheekbones. I'm usually dressed in my camo pants and a tank top. You wouldn't catch me dead wearing lace, or even a skirt.
8. To which social class do you belong? Middle?
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses? Physical, no, fortunately. I do suffer from insomnia and clinical depression, however, which tends to slow me down sometimes.
10. Are you right- or left-handed? Right. I use my right hand for most of my physical attacking, with my left as a secondary helper.
11. What does your voice sound like? Some people have told me that my voice is low, harsh, and rough, but with a charming smoothness to it. I guess that's true; I don't listen to my own voice too much.
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently? "It's not gonna be easy." "That's 'yes ma'am' to you, Cadet." "Shut your mouth!"
13. What do you have in your pockets? Dog tags of my previous fallen solders and a pocketknife.
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? I tend to flex often, sometimes subconsciously. I show off my more "masculine" traits more often than not, and I've heard some people say I'm more of a man than a woman. Of course, no one says this to my face, since the last one to do that ended up getting a broken nose from my fist.
15. How would you describe your childhood in general? 16. What is your earliest memory? 17. How much schooling have you had? 18. Did you enjoy school? 19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities? 20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them. 21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family? 22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I really wanted to serve in the army like my father and his friends. His duties were always so mesmerizing to me.
23. As a child, what were your favorite activities? 24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display? I was a huge tomboy. I would romp around and play fight with the boys, and was really really interested in the things that the girls liked. I remember my mother would always get angry at me when my already messy hair got messier from playing in the dirt.
Becoming general.
32. What is your greatest regret? 33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done? 41. What is your greatest fear? 42. What are your religious views? 43. What are your political views? 44. What are your views on relationships? 45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable? I am perfectly capable of killing people. And sometimes I will go so far as to end another person's life. But I don't feel satisfaction when I do so, in fact, I tend to feel bad. Usually, however those whom I kill are threatening others' lives and putting innocents lives in terror. Sometimes it needs to be done.
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do? 47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love? 48. What do you believe makes a successful life? 49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)? 50. Do you have any biases or prejudices? 51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it? 52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)? 53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?
Most would say I'm "rude". Well, I am a part-time sergeant - what do they expect? When I'm talking with authority, I'm polite a possible; I try not to be curt. With my students, I am very harsh and strict, but fair. With those whom I know, I'm a bit...softer, you could say. I'm not exactly a Mister Nice Guy, though, so don't expect anything too friendly at first. My father's dog tags.
72. What is your favorite color? Green.
Insomnia is something I deal with almost everyday, so I can find a few things to do before I fall asleep. Sometimes I'll doodle on paper, listen to music, or watch my favorite movie.
87. 3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?

You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks. I have short blond hair that is usually messed up and I have a habit of running my hands through it when I’m thinking about something important. I have pale skin with a few freckles around my nose. I’m probably of Greek or German dissent, but will just stick with Caucasian. I’m a little short for my age, uh, I appear to be in my early twenties. I’m 5 feet 7. 20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them. Not that I remember. That was a lot time ago and I’m just glad that any memories remain of my mortal life. Possibly my dad? He was pretty smart and good at what he did.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I’m having trouble with these. Can we stop asking questions about my childhood? I mean, I’ll try answering these. Uh, I think I wanted to take over the job my father had.

24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?

27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity? Personal there. But the answers yes. Next question please… 28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.

55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?
56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people.
57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person. Eveline was my significant other. But…we’re kind of separated now. She’s amazing. Brave, helpful, all I could ask for. 58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.
59. What do you look for in a potential lover?

78. What makes you laugh?
79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?
80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
81. How do you deal with stress?
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan? Spontaneous. Yes, very much spontaneous.
Extroverted. I need attention and people.
89. Are you generally organized or messy? I’m pretty messy in my personal space, but will be very organized in someone elses.
90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
91. Do you like yourself? Sure I guess.
92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)
93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Dead. No, I won’t explain that statement.
95. If you could choose, how would you want to die? In my sleep. Possibly at a very old age. Though for a Betrayed, I really don’t see that happening.
96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left. Run around, scream, cry. If you want realism.
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
98. What three words best describe your personality? Reckless, childish, and possibly foolish. Other people’s words, not mine.
99. What three words would others probably use to describe you? See above statement. I guess I can kind of agree with them too.
100. If you could, what advice would you, the protagonist give to your antagonist?

Oooh, everyone's OC's are so interesting!
Well, one thing about having endless free time on your hands is having the time to answer all of these, so, uh, here you go. here's my angsty, yet apparently very charming problem child as he beats himself up over a series of increasingly poor life decisions.
1. What is your full name? Otto McAlpine
2. Where and when were you born? On the streets of Nur, shipping capital of the country. It's a harbour town, pretty rough, too. Not a good place to be when you're out on the streets. I was born in the 7th House of the Night. (A/N: this universe runs off a different calendar, but based on a human AU, his birthday is the 8th of July. July = the 7th month = they Seventh House of the Night.)
3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.) I never met my father, but my mother's name was Tully. She was the daughter of a senator or something along those lines. I don't know what she's up to these days - anything but raising her kid, I guess.
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like? Not to my knowledge. (A/N: he has two younger half siblings that he has no idea exist.)
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people. On the road. It's pretty great. A new horizon ever day. The ultimate freedom. Home, though, will always be the Cascades Hotel. It's a big, elegant place, made of timber and stone, with wide lawns that backs into the mountain range. Great views of the valley. The inside is wide, spacious, with high ceilings made of raw timber... two wings of rooms, complete with conference rooms, offices, three restaurants, a bar, a games room, a library... oh, and the Tavern, of course...
The only permanent residents are those employed by the Trade. The others are all guests. They come and go, and they have no idea what we're up to beneath their feet.
6. What is your occupation? The technical title is 'business consultant', which is fancy talk for 'assassin'. I'm also a small time treasure hunter and occasional bartender.
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks. I'm quite tall - 6'3" - and kinda lanky. I've been described as being underweight for my age and height. Mostly muscle, really. I do a lot of physical exercise. I've also been called scruffy and unkept. My hair is best described as golden, and is bleached by the sun. I've got green eyes. And then, of course, there are the scars. The most notable are the ones on my face. I've also got a couple just below my left shoulder, and my back is pretty much a mess of scar tissue. As for my style of dress... jeans mostly, and faded retro t-shirts, occasionally a wrinkled dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a leather jacket. That's pretty much my entire wardrobe. I tend to wander around barefoot when I'm at the hotel, but otherwise I'm wearing hiking boots. I'm always carrying my shoulder bag, which is made of brown leather and some kind of khaki material. I've been told it's really bad for my posture, and is probably the reason why my shoulders are always sore.
8. To which social class do you belong? Is there a seperate class for 'wanted criminal' or do all criminals fall under the same umbrella?
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses? No allergies, no diseases, but I have a terrible sense of smell.
10. Are you right- or left-handed? Right handed.
11. What does your voice sound like? I have a very heavy accent. In my world, it's just 'southern', but in your world it would be the equivalent of Australian.
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently? 'Mate' 'Tucker' 'No' 'Thief's honour' Then, of course, there are the vague threats and insults.
13. What do you have in your pockets? Some sand, several dollars in spare change, and a knife. My bag is much more interesting.
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? Not that I can think of, but I've been told that my smile is easily recognisable. It's crooked, almost a smirk, and I quote 'scrawls higher up one side of my face than the other'. And then, of course, there's my talent for talking myself out of almost any situation that I get into.
15. How would you describe your childhood in general? Terrible. First, my mother abandoned me, then I was taken in by assassins and spent ever day learning how to kill. Id been broken long before Vince found me, and the Trade just ground the pieces into dust. I don't even bother to pretend to be ok anymore. Yeah, it was just great.
16. What is your earliest memory? Freezing half to death. I don't remember much, just being cold and hungry. I think my mother might have been there, but I'm not sure. The early years of my childhood all tend to blur together.
17. How much schooling have you had? No official schooling. My education focused on a very different set of skills. Knowledge-wise, I'm pretty much self taught. I read a lot of books as a kid.
18. Did you enjoy school? I enjoyed what I read, but I have a feeling I would have enjoyed actual school a lot less. Actual schools have actual rules and schedules.
19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities? My early training was mostly overseen by Declan and Liho. After a, aha, certain incident when I was thirteen, Declan refused to have anything to do with me, so Vince took over.
20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them. Not so much a role model, but Vince was the closest I had. Kinda gruff and certainly intimidating, but he was the first person who ever really looked out for me.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family? Not my biological family, but my found family. It took me a long time to learn how to interact with them, but I got there.
22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I actually wanted to be an explorer. I thrived on the thrill of adventure. It didn't matter that everything had already been discovered. I was always so certain that I'd find something new.
23. As a child, what were your favourite activities? Reading, puzzling through history and learning to punch people.
24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display? I was aggressive, prone to taking whatever I thought I needed and disinclined to trust people. I was stand-offish, scowled at everyone, and had long ago learned to turn fear into aggression. I relied on the fight or flight reflex. If I was confronted, I ran, if I thought I could get away. Otherwise I just attacked. Nevertheless, I didn't like people, and they didn't like me. I was pretty cold, and it took me a long time to warm up. I was of the opinion that everyone was out to get me.
25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like? I was popular in the sense that I knew how to find food and shelter, but I never considered the other street kids friends. Once I arrived at The Cascades, however, I made real friends. It took a while, but I got there. I got on well enough with Dex and and Kosovo
26. When and with whom was your first kiss? With Deshoree Smoke, one summer back when we were seventeen.
27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity? Nope. Same girl, different summer.
28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today. 1. My mother abandoning me. 2. Being taken in by the Trade 3. Learning to become an assassin 4. Abandoning my friends 5. Ending up in jail 6. Being busted out by a disgraced princess and being offered an obscenely large amount of money to guide her to a place that technically doesn't exist. Fun, isn't it?
29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far? Being picked up by Vince. I robbed the wrong guy, but instead of doing whatever he was supposed to, be brought me back to the Cascades. Changed my life; gave me a home, but in doing so, turned me into a weapon.
30. Who has had the most influence on you? Vince, I guess, as both my trainer and father figure.
31. What do you consider your greatest achievement? Uhhh... I don't really think I did anything really great. Ok, I'm tossing up between managing to maintain my moral code for quite a long time, for fifteen years or so, despite being a heavy hitter for the leading criminal organisation... or any one of my, aha, historical discoveries. I find things lost to time and I sell them for a very large sum of money.
32. What is your greatest regret? Skipping out on my friends. Not a day goes past when I don't beat myself up over it.
33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done? I abandoned the people who trusted me to watch their backs. I abandoned by my friends, who had become my family, in order to save my own skin. That seems a lot worse than all the crimes I've committed.
34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind? Ha! That's not a question you want to ask. I've been arrested three times, if that helps. I'm actually quite the criminal expert. Would you like a resume? It included, but is not limited to murder, theft, breaking and entering, resisting arrest and assaulting an officer of the law. I've assaulted other people too, and I burned down a building once...
35. When was the time you were the most frightened? I lived in fear for the first four years of my life, but the worst time was experiencing a thunderstorm alone was... unimaginable. I had nowhere to go, and no one to help me. The wrath of a thunderstorm over the bay is like nothing else; it is the raw power of nature, and for a kid on the streets there is nothing more... paralysing. I still don't like getting caught in storms... and I still panic if I hear thunder when I'm outside. I've been known to drop everything and sprint madly for cover, even if the storm is still hours off.
36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you? [There was no immediate response. Subject just stared off into the distance, looking vaguely traumatised.] Wha... what?
(A/N: Ooh, I wonder what he did! I'm actually still figuring that out, but it was bad. Expect a one-shot in the future...)
37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why? I would say that I wish I hadn't abandoned my friends, but there's also some part of me that wonders what would have happened if my mother had come back that day...
38. What is your best memory? I have a lot of good memories. It's difficult to pick the best... ok, ok, one morning, Desh hauled me out of bed really early and dragged me on her morning run with her. It was earlier than usual, and we arrived at this lookout point just in time to watch the sun come up over the valley. It was freezing, and everything was covered in frost, and the sunlight turned everything gold. I've seen a lot of sunrises in my life, but that one... that one stands out. Mostly because she told me that she loved me, and that I deserved to be loved, no matter what. And y'know, for the first time... I actually believed it. That I deserved to be loved, I mean.
39. What is your worst memory? When my mother walked out on me, when I was four years old. Yeah. That was a big one.
40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic? I am realistic. I try to be optimistic, but more often than not, I come across as pessimistic.
41. What is your greatest fear? That I'll never have the courage to make up with my friends... or thunderstorms. Take your pick.
42. What are your religious views? God's are selfish creatures. Nobody's gonna save me, except me. I choose to abstain from religion.
43. What are your political views? I don't have a problem with the monarchy. They do a good enough job.
44. What are your views on relationships? Relationships are great, as long as you can trust yourself to maintain it.
45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable? Yes. I've killed a lot of people just because random strangers tell me to. I have no problem killing, although I really should. My sense of morality is awfully questionable these days.
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do? Uuuh.... I'm gonna have to go with abandoning their friends. Breaking trust is... unforgivable...
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love? I... I don't know. Maybe, but I'm still hung up on someone I can't have, so I'm not the best person to ask.
48. What do you believe makes a successful life? If you can look back on your life and think 'yeah, I'm happy', then you win.
49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)? I'm not afraid to speak my mind. I actually enjoy antagonising people, so I don't hide myself at all. People deserve to know exactly what they're getting into.
50. Do you have any biases or prejudices? Not really, but the less I like you, the more likely I am to disrespect you. I'd have to say though, if you're my mother, I'm ignoring you until I get angry enough to yell.
51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it? I'm not abandoning my friends again, no matter what.
52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)? Honestly, these days I don't know. Maybe once I would have been able to answer that without any hesitation, but... I don't know. I guess I'm too concerned with saving myself to give my life for someone else anymore, but if
53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how? The way I treat you definitely depends on who you are. Before I left the Trade, I guess it was a mix of vaguely inappropriate humour, bad jokes and affection shown through rude gestures and insults. I know, I know, but I don't do affection well. Believe me, I smiled a lot more back then. Afterwards, though, I was pretty cold. I distanced myself emotionally, and treated everyone with the same vague dislike and disdain. (A/N: he treats everyone coldly to avoid getting close to people. You can't abandon your friends if you don't have any. He's mostly just terrified of making the same mistakes. Someone needs to tell him that it's not a healthy way to live.)
54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why? Me. I don't know. I would have said either Vince or Desh, and I guess that hasn't changed. I don't know.
55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why? I gotta say Nef. She's lost so much, so much more than anyone I've ever known - her sister, her home, she had to abandon her friends and her parents, everything she's ever known - and she still finds the strength to soldier on. If it was me, I would have given up long ago. She is, without a doubt, the strongest person I've ever known, and I respect the hell out of her for that.
56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people. I don't really have any friends at the moment... do ex-friends count? Uhhh, Vince was the strong, silent type who dragged me home when I was drunk. He was my father figure, and my unofficial legal guardian. Dex and Kosovo were like poorly behaved siblings, but we shared the same sick sense of humour - although I have to say that Dex was borderline annoying. The relationship between Rahni and I was based on insults and crude humour. I'm in love with her best friend, and she wasn't having any of it. She remains the one person who repeatedly intimidated me on more than one occasion... And Desh... Desh was above us all. No-nonsense, sharp, a quick learner with a sharp tongue and a wicked sense of humour. And then, theres Nefertiti, the warrior. Determined with a capital D. Shade is annoyingly happy, Gjin is almost unbearably naive - and will probably get herself killed if she doesn't wise up - Jax is interesting, and surprisingly philosophical, and Diablo is just weird.
57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person. Once I did. And Desh was a firecracker. Sharp, witty, sophisticated, with a sharp tongue and an occasionally dirty sense of humour. She's really smart, too. She has a double degree in Business Management and Natural Medicine. She was trained as an assassin, too - poisons, mostly. You'd never even know she was there until you dropped dead. She always saw the best in people, too, and she always knew just when we needed her. She always knew how to cheer us up. She was a really good friend - I've lost track of how many nights she waited up for me, whether it be pain or insomnia that kept me up. That being said, she was never shy about what she wanted. A good mediator, she was a barrier between myself and my self-destructive tendencies. She... she was everything to me... an'... an' in my stupidity I lost her...
58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened. Yeah. I've been in love, and I made a mistake. I have to stop blaming myself, since it's not entirely my fault, but I had a minor mental breakdown and abandoned my friends in the middle of a crisis. I haven't heard from Desh since, not that I tried to reach out to her...
59. What do you look for in a potential lover? That list is a mile long, and would take an entirely seperate questionnaire to answer. (A/N: he's still hung up on his ex. He really just wants her back.)
60. How close are you to your family? My biological family? Not at all. They are dead to me, and I'm sure they think I'm dead, too. I'm much closer to my friends.
61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not? Nooooooo, no no no no no no. I am not cut out to be a parent. I am an alcoholic assassin with no interest whatsoever in playing happy families. (A/N: he never got over being abandoned and probably never will, and honestly, he'd make a terrible father.)
62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help? I guess I'd go back to the Tavern. I'd ask all my old friends. I'd also go and ask Nef - I guess we're friends now. Plus she owes me.
63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why? Mostly myself, but any of my friends, I guess? You're not supposed to walk away from your friends - and once you wander off on a quest of some kind to fight demons together, you learn to trust the people around you to watch your back. With the people you fight with, protecting one another becomes second nature.
64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you? I like to think so. Before I left, I would have said yeah, all my friends would miss me. These days, Nef and her company would probably be upset for half an hour or so, but they wouldn't miss me... not really.
65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why? Besides myself? I'd have to say my mother. She abandoned me! Me! Her child! I was four years old, and she just left me on my own. She left me to die!
66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict? I'm not going to lie. I love a good healthy debate. Arguing with people is fun, especially when I'm right. And I'm always right. I never start an argument I don't think I can win.
67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations? Hell no. I'm just doing my own thing.
68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not? I don't mind large crowds, I just don't like interacting. I'd rather stand to the side and silently judge you all.
69. Do you care what others think of you? Nope. They can think what they like.
70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes? These days, it's mostly reading and wandering aimlessly through the wilderness. I also enjoy treasure hunting, getting paid and sleeping. Oh, and baking bread. I do that when I'm stressed.
71. What is your most treasured possession? My journal. These days I think it's the one thing keeping me sane. It's full of all the thoughts I can't bare to think. I also use it to keep track of my missions and my more personal historical investigations.
72. What is your favorite color? Navy blue.
73. What is your favorite food? Parmesan curly fries.
74. What, if anything, do you like to read? Classic adventure stories, I guess, and historical fiction. (A/N: he'd be a fan of Jules Verne.)
75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)? A night with good friends, drinking and playing cards or pool.
76. Do you smoke or drink? If so, why? Do you want to quit? I drink. Way too much. I should probably quit, but I won't. It's the only therapist I have left.
77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night? Once, I would have spent it in the bar, or the games room - I'm really good at pool - or reading somewhere. These days, I'll still hit up a bar if there's one around. Otherwise I just wander around. Mostly though, we - I mean Nef and her motley crew - just sit around a fire and talk. Sometimes we play cards.
78. What makes you laugh? The misfortune of others. And bad puns.
79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you? Honestly, I'm shocked when people are nice to me. I really don't deserve it.
80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself? Once I read, mostly, and drink. Sometimes I would play pool, if there was anyone else awake. These days, I just pack up camp and keep walking until I eventually pass out.
81. How do you deal with stress? Not well. I drink, and then I write in my journal. Or I punch something. Or someone.
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan? It depends on the situation. If I'm planning a heist, I plan every last detail. My fallback plans have fallback plans... and yet things still manage to go wrong. This whole 'trouble personified' thing is surprisingly accurate. If it's just day to day stuff, however, I just wander around.
83. What are your pet peeves? People touching my back, or sneaking up behind me.
84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted? I don't really have a routine. There is no structure to my life. These days, it involves a lot of walking. Once, though, it was wake up around 8, breakfast, then haunt the hotel. Hang out with some friends, play pool, maybe train some of the new recruits and practice, practice, practice. Dinner and drinks from six, sleep at... some point. Of course, I could be hired at any moment, at which routine went out the window. Disruptions were welcome. I was gone anywhere from a couple of days to a few months, and I always got quite the welcome home...
85. What is your greatest strength as a person? Probably my skill set. It's not a good look, but it's true.
86. What is your greatest weakness? My temper. When it flares up, it's bad. I irritate people, and they irritate me. My inability to keep my mouth shut has landed me in a fair amount of hot water. It's not good, but there's no fun in being polite all the time.
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I wish I could have stuck to my moral code, but no. I guess there really is no honour amongst thieves.
88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted? Introverted, unless I'm really drunk.
89. Are you generally organized or messy? I'm actually highly organised. I just organise things in a very confusing way that no one else understands.
90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at. Good at starting fights, stealing valuable things and threatening people. Bad at taking care of myself, maintaining a steady relationship and tolerating strangers.
91. Do you like yourself? Nope. Not one bit. I lost all the good parts of me a long time ago.
92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...) I'm no hero. I worked for the Trade because I had no-where else to go, although I did like stealing things, especially the part where I got paid very generously. I followed Nef for much of the same reason, really. There's not much more to it.
93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime? I'd like to go home, and make up with my friends, especially Vince. I really messed up there. And I owe Desh an apology too. I just really miss them, and I miss the person I used to be when I was around them.
94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Really, I'll probably be dead. Dead at 34. That's just sad. But between my lifestyle choices, the enemies I've made (especially since no-ones stitching me up now) and my drinking habits, it's probably realistic. I've always been told I'm too reckless for my own good.
95. If you could choose, how would you want to die? I'd like to go down fighting.
96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left. 1. I'm going home, and I'm going to see my friends again. 2. I'd try and apologise to the woman I love. 3. I'd eat my weight in curly fries.
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death? In all honestly, it would be my reputation as an assassin and a thief. There's be nothing nice about it.
98. What three words best describe your personality? Stubborn, aggressive, silver-tongued.
99. What three words would others probably use to describe you? Angry, violent, manipulative.
100. If you could, what advice would you, the protagonist give to your antagonist? Look out, mate. We're coming for you. You ain't getting out of this one alive...

I know XD
Every week, its like 'ooh, lets write about someone new this week, to make sure all of my characters are equally developed and well rounded!' but no. I'm still writing about the same elite group.

Will C. Morgen (Fan fic version)
POV: cat of Seaside She was a cat one shade lighter than a shadow. She was someone we remembered in the 'before' and the 'after'. Before, in those four days that she was in our town, she was the loner. She had a nice enough mate and good enough sisters. She wasn't one that would have been picked out of a crowd. Then there was the After. Afterwards, she was described a demon. A green eyed... or was it purple eyed, demon. She was seen as the icy snowstorm she died in, the cliff she fell from as a warning to kits. She was a cunning snake with a voice that could convince you of almost anything. I hate here. Why? What she had done, by many, might be considered a gift. If it had been something so light. But some fear the agelessness, the lack of hunger or pain, the need only to sleep to pass the time. Most of us fear the shadows. She's in the shadows. She is insanity. She is mixed blood, the only sickness that is worse than death. That brings insanity to...to.. to our kind.
POV: Percival I...I was her mate. I am still her best friend. Our relationship is complicated. She is a cat whose heart is surrounded by ice, but I don't think it's frozen. No, what I mean is that her heart is constantly hurt by the ice that is sticking into it. Cats around her will melt it, if just for a little. I thought I could be the one who would melt it forever, but I was wrong. Will... has problems. Every cat does. But I think that her body couldn't handle what she had to deal with without become more. At this point, I think Marick and Oliva can't exist inside Will anymore. They are three completely different beings...for now. Will, without them, is a little saner, a little safer, a little kinder. Yet, sh still fights herself. Marick is her light and Oliva her dark, without them she is only the cracking ice. One wrong pawstep and others will be hurt. I think that's why she created the Poison. I think that's why she changed Seaside. She want enemies. Enemies she can see. She knows that she can't fight herself forever. And she knows that whatever plan she makes to fix everything will always be undermined by herself. Oliva has grown to love and Marick to hate. Will has yet to learn either. She is in a consistent circle, from wanting to destroy herself and wanting to save herself. But she wont let anyone near to help her do one or the other. I can't be that cat.

I still never got around to finishing the 100 questions. Probably should do that. I might end up doing most of it on a word or something because some of those answers got well dark or just inappropriate very fast xD I think I'll do a few characters for this one because it's short. Cole Love(well, tolerates): Cal Cole surprised me, which, after all I'd been through to that point, was just short of a miracle. In a way, he was my miracle. Now it sounds like I'm getting all lovey on him, but he has Keisha after all. He wasn't some sort of white knight come to take me away, in most cases, I was a lot more the knight than he. But instead of the time in Frisk turning him into a monster like so many others, it actually mellowed him. I mean, he still took care of me after I quite literally forced him to help at gunpoint. He's not quite kind, that would be an overstatement, but considerate for sure. Empathetic. He knows what it's like to go through hard times, and instead of being angry with that fact and taking it out on others, he'll go out of his way to make it easier on them. In only a few days we went from tentative allies to partners in crime, and I know that had little to do with my fluffy personality. He's just someone that I felt comfortable with, that I could trust. Maybe not from the moment I saw him, but from the time he bandaged my hand, gave me a room in his own lair-- something I know now he cherished above all else. Cole and I, we're like soul mates, maybe. He's just Cole and I'm just me and together we're just. . . us. Whole. Two people with the same mind. Or, well, different minds, most the time, but to the same beat.
Hates: Trevor He's an arrogant snob, even since he was in Prim. Always trying to be the best, with an overarching modesty that screams he's anything but perfect. He's not even that good at anything. Can't shoot, always backing down like he's too good to ever do anything the slightest bit wrong to anyone. Too good to stoop to our level and talk to us like equals. He doesn't even admit that his hands are just as bloody as any of ours, just sits there like everyone he's ever killed, everyone he's ever gotten killed, was their fault and none of his. He hardly even comes around, just enough to remind us how dirt poor we are compared to his might. One of these nights he'll be caught over in Ruby and that'll be it. I'm counting down the days.

The thing I love about this prompt is that it forces you to consider how other characters see your oc. You know how you feel about them, and its tough sometimes to remember that not everyone sees them the same way you do. even in real life, different people interpret the same mood in different ways - this actually happens to me a lot, where my brother will insist that I'm angry, but my mother says that I'm just stressed, because I behave similarly in both situations. Sometimes its hard to tell the difference.
I find this particularly interesting to write, particularly when Otto is involved. My angsty boy had a drastically different upbringing to literally every single other character he associates with. While some consider his behaviour 'normal', albeit a little extreme, others (admittedly mostly Shade) find his behaviour utterly despicable and downright horrific. It's all a matter of perspective.
Oh, and Brownie, I have the exact same problem. I don't really know how to make Otto's self-destructive downward spiral forum-friendly while including all the best bits of his backstory... :/
Ahhh, I talk about my problematic fave waaaay to much >.<
