[ Hey, want to roleplay them right now? I have Madeleine open and am itching to roleplay. ^^'Got to warn you though: I'm very out of practice and a bit sleepy. Not a good combo. xDI'm on EST time so it's a bit late. ] (Ah I'm PST so it's not too late here And sure sounds good to me! What shall we have them do?)

(I'm fine with whatever nickname. Also it's almost 11 for me, but its the weekend and some times I end up staying up until 4 then. Honestly I am dangerous levels of night owl.)
Edit (The play was pretty good. I always end up paying more attention to the ensemble than the main actors because I've been in plays at the theater before and I'm pretty good friends with some of the common ensemble members.)

Charlotte entered the room behind her, squinting as the light streamed in through the open window. As her eyes adjusted, she looked around the room, taking in the three beds and the clutter of three girls all sharing one room. It was much brighter and far more lived in than her own. She smiled and left her soccer ball by the door, following Ruby further into the room. "I know it's pretty messy." Ruby apologized. "Every time one of us tries to clean, everything just ends up a mess again. I just ask Maddie or Maria to do it when I start swimming in clothes to get to the door!" She giggled. "One of the two are usually up here, so I guess we're lucky!" She said brightly, heading to the bunk bed that she shared with Nicolette and sitting on the edge. She had shared the bed with Kimber until Nicolette became old enough to sleep with them. Kimber had been outgrowing the bunk bed anyway and was given a bed of her own, much to Ruby's chagrin. For several weeks, the redhead had been convinced that her older sister hated her. This was quickly replaced by possessiveness over Nicolette. Ruby was quite the doting older sister.

"The mess isn't that bad. It's better than how perfectly clean my room has to stay." Charlotte said, sitting down on the floor by the bottom bunk, her legs folded in front of her. "It must be so nice to have siblings that will do things with you or for you. I always have to end up doing everything myself." She leaned back on her palms so that she could look up at Ruby, her shoulders relaxed out of the tight posture she held around her parents. "I wish I'd had at least one or two siblings."

"I wish I'd had at least one or two siblings." "Don't even wish!" Ruby groaned. "It sounds good, but 10 brothers and sisters is nothing but trouble! Today is rare. Usually, someone's always in every room all the time! Nothing really belongs to you, and you never really get any alone time, even in your room! And clothes? 'Kimber's shirt got too small for her. These shorts don't fit Maria anymore.' I can't remember the last time I wore something that wasn't a hand-me-down! And since I'm one of the youngest, I can't even go out on my own!" Although Ruby sounded like she was complaining, she loved her siblings to death, and would be heartbroken if even a single one of the other 10 weren't there. Each one of them was special to her.

"Well, I understand the hand-me-down problem. I used to get things from a cousin every now and then. Until my mom starting making sure I looked 'perfect' every time I left the house. Then that stopped. I can't imagine all that other stuff though. My house is almost always empty. But you knew that already." Lottie shrugged her shoulders slightly, followed by a slight shake of her head. "So was there anything else you wanted to show me? Your house must have lots of rooms to fit everyone in it. Plus some of your other siblings must be here today. I've never formally meet that many of them outside of seeing them cheering at soccer games or stuff like that."

"Sure!" Ruby said, getting off the bed with a small jump and dusting off the back of her jeans. "I'll introduce you to Maria! I know she's around here somewhere." She said, heading out of her room. Once at the foot of the attic stairs, she called out, "Mariaaaaa! Mariaaaaaaaaa!" Usually a yell was enough to get the attention of the sibling in question, but if she got no reply, she'd have to actually go look for her.

Lottie scrabbled up from her position on the floor and rushed after Ruby down the attic staircase, almost tripping on step or two in her haste. She hit the bottom of the stairs with another almost fall, only just catching herself on the hand rail as Ruby start to scream. She righted herself slowly, listening carefully for a response to Ruby's call.
A few seconds before Ruby began calling for her, Maria was sprawled on her bed, her head at the foot, feet falling of the side casually. She stared sightlessly at the air above her head. Then, she heard a faint yelling, most likely coming from the upstairs. Of course, being in the basement, she couldn't make out much of what was being said. She dragged herself out of the bed and headed for the basements main room. Still unable to understand the yell, she retreated back to her room, accidentally leaving the door open behind her.

Ruby pouted when she didn't receive a reply. "Boo..." She muttered. "Well in that case she's probably in her room. I guess we're heading down to the basement!" She said cheerfully as she continued down the stairs, making her way to the first floor. She rounded a hallway, making sure Lottie was keeping up with her, and took the steps down to the basement, blinking in the dark area. "Mariiiiiiiaaa! Are you down here?" She called again. She then noticed the door was open, and in typical sibling fashion, she entered the room without bothering to knock. "Maria! There you are!" She said.

Lottie followed behind her friend, moving in the same scrambling, almost dangerous fashion she had been before. There was no one around to tell her to walk to properly, and so she didn't. She didn't care that she could be messing up her hair or her shirt or scuffing her shoes, she was just running like she liked to.
Maria sat up as Ruby entered her room, her eyes going from sightless wandering to focused on her younger sister pretty quickly. "Ruby?" she asked, changing how she was sitting so that she faced her as Charlotte entered that room. She looked her up and down for a few minutes before she recognized her. "Oh, you must be Lottie, Ruby's teammate. I didn't know you were having a friend over?" The last question was directed at Ruby, Maria going from politely greeting the younger girl to questioning her sibling in only a matter of seconds.

"Yup, she said she wanted to meet some of 'y'all'." She explained, using her little word that referred to her siblings collectively. "I knew you were home so I thought I'd bring her down here. You aren't busy, are you?" She asked, tipping her head to the side. She hoped she wasn't bothering her older sister. Although she usually acted on impulse, Ruby was still considerate.

Among the many activities Madeleine could be doing, nothing fascinated her enough. She could read, practice the piano, go out for a run but she knew that all those activities would be done halfheartedly. Her mind was set on a neurological study she had recently unearthed from the very depths of the internet. It discussed the neurological aspect of a daily diet - something that intrigued Madeleine. The brain was a very complicated part of the body, of which Madeleine could spend all day researching and analyzing. She didn't quite understand what everything meant in these studies - she was fourteen years old - but she learned more for every time she lacked understanding. With every study she took note of the things she didn't understand, the very next day spending every bit of her computer time researching what she once didn't know. Madeleine was what you could call a geek. She craved knowledge and became fascinated by everything she encountered. Madeleine Sage was the kind of child that asked endless questions during her youth.
Lying on her bedroom carpet, staring thoughtfully at the ceiling, a voice jolted her from her thoughts. "Madeleine, grab the mail, will you?" Springing upright her brown gaze snapped to her mother, casually holding a laundry basket to her hip. Her mother's long brown hair was pulled back in a ponytail, revealing a hopeful look in her eye as she looked towards Madeleine. Running her hair through her tangled knots, she nodded, watching her mother as she gratefully smiled, continuing to walk past her room.
After slipping into a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, Madeleine sighed tiredly she sped down the stairs, nearly tripping as she reached the front door. Yanking the door open she drowsily made her way barefoot to the mailbox. It was a bright sunny afternoon, one too good to waste her grandfather would say. Upon reaching the mailbox she pondered going for a short run to wake herself up a bit when she spotted her neighbor from across the street. Even though she only saw the back of his blonde haired head she knew it was Connor. "Hey Connor," she called out, offering him a half wave.

"No, I was just relaxing. I've been doing this or that all afternoon, it's fine." Maria smiled at her sister, and then at Lottie. She stood up and stretched, then looked back at the two girls. "I don't know about anyone else right now. There are so many of use, someone else is probably here, but the house is pretty quiet other than your screams and the dogs." Maria tried to seem inviting, not wanting to leave a bad impression on Ruby's friend, although she could already tell the girl was nervous.
Charlotte shifted from foot to foot, a polite smile stretched across her face. "It's nice to meet you," she said, a token response that had been drilled into her. She'd been hoping one of the first ones she'd meet would be Ruby's younger sister, or at least one she shared a room with. She always got slightly nervous around new people that were more than a year or two older than her, no matter how much she wished she didn't. She slid back just the slightest bit so that she was more behind Ruby than beside her as she had been. She was not herself out all when she was out of her comfort zone.

Connor had just been about to go back into his house when he heard a familiar voice calling from across the street. He turned around, and brightened when he saw who it was; his friend and crush, Madeleine Baker. He had known the Baker kids since he was a baby himself, and was good friends with those who were his age. He had watched Kimber, Ruby, and Nicolette grow up from infants in diapers to tweens. They were like sisters to him, but Madeleine had always been different, especially now that they were teenagers. "Hey, Maddie!" He called back, using his usual nickname for her. "What you up to?" He asked, crossing the few meters of asphalt that separated them and walking up the Bakers' driveway to meet her.

Ruby sighed in relief. She didn't want to be a disturbance. "I could've sworn I heard some of the others around. Thanks Maria!" And just like that Ruby was out of the room, looking for the next sibling. She really did have too much pent up energy. She did notice, however, that Lottie had been a little more hesitant around Maria and figured she should've introduced her to someone around their age. "Sorry." She apologized. "I'll see if Nicolette or Kimber are around next."

Lottie shot off like a rocket after Ruby, following her friend pretty closely, as she had been most of the that she'd been at her house. "It's okay. You didn't know I'd freak out like that. I didn't know I'd freak out like that. It would be great to meet some of your younger siblings though." Lottie was already rebounding back to her energy-filled-and-ready-to-run self again. She was so used to switching back and forth that it had become second nature for her. It probably wasn't the best thing, but that was how it was.
