- - - So basically I was on the lookout for a job, which I really need, as I need the money to look after my pets, and also I have to start paying for more things as my nan is pretty much broke. The only place I could find work was KFC. KFC completely goes against my beliefs (vegan here) but I literally cannot find work ANYWHERE ELSE. I really have to start saving up for my pet's vet bills, and their food, because my nan can't pay for it anymore. ugh I just feel really torn, but my disability benefits might be stopping so I really need to start working. Any thoughts? Similar experiences?

if that's the only place that you can find and you need money you should work there unless you're completely against cooking animal product
in that case is it possible to find a clothing store or movie theatre or something?

Like, I know most vegans believe nobody should eat meat etc but I honestly believe if the animal is well cared for, and raise in an environmentally friendly environment, then eating meat is okay. There's literally nowhere else, everywhere requires previous paid work experience, whereas I have only done volunteering.

yeah i get that, but you might just have to suspend that if you're really in need for money. if you did that u could work there a short time and then quit? i completely understand tho can you look for work in a broader area?

- - - @singingpaw - I'm trying to reason with myself that if I get this job, other jobs will follow, and I can build up a decent CV. Also, if I don't accept the job, then someone else will get it, so it's not like me not working there is going to do anything? I rely on my nan driving me, and this is literally like a 10 minute drive, so it's (unfortunately) ideal.
