my yearbook quote referenced "the game" so at least yours will just seem random cringey not dated cringey ? the kazoo queen though sfgshdfhfdsfds fave last semester we had to do a presentation on Animal Farm, and one of my fellow senior's little brother (a fish) wrote a song to "Old MacDonald" about the book. except he brought cheap kazoos for the whole class to wheeze along to the tune.
that was 7 months ago. now i sound the kazoo at the end of each period with one long, mournful toot.
i am the Kazoo Queen

the entire quote is one big mash-up of several inside jokes
i already explained the KQ thing. i got the nickname for school tyrant/dictator because i started a joke where i demanded taxes from my peasants in the form of food. after awhile people just started giving me extra food at lunch without me even having to ask.
as for the quote itself, i've said it about 192 times in the three years i've been going to my co-op. i'm notorious for packing fancy lunches from leftovers (steak and potatoes, green beans, spaghetti, etc) and then forgetting the crucial utensil known as stabby-stab forko. much to everyone's amusement.
so its not like....nonsensical but it is still cringey as hecky thump and thats why i love it, in 10 years my classmates will look at it and think "yeah that's so shad"

My senior quote was something cheesy written by me, followed by a Shakespeare quote, followed by "WILDCATS!!!" in all caps at the end. It was for an insider with a few friends that was dumb when we wrote it and even more dumb now xD

Ok, so at least 2 of you know, now I'm dying to know...what is "the game", because all I can think of for that is the wrestler Triple H, but I doubt that's what you mean?

It's this really dumb thing they started up back when I was I middle school/late elementary where you'd say to someone "I lost the game" and then everyone in the immediate vicinity who heard it also "lost the game" by association. Shoot. Did I just extend "the game" to all of you now by saying that? Dang it

Exactly! No one wins the game. What a fantastic ideal to teach schoolchildren...

in my region the rule was that if you thought about the game, you lost and had to start over. so your goal was to completely forget about it.

I can't remember if I had a senior quote, or if I did, what it was. But then again I didn't take my senior picture so that pretty much explains my attitude about high school back then But hey, I'm sure you'll be fine with it in the future. It's pretty darn unique, so it'll be easier for people to remember you. By your 2nd year of being a graduate you won't remember about 75% of your high school- and the only ones you're remember are the ones who stood out in some weird way. So it'll be a good thing xD

So it'll be a good thing xD i go to a homeschool co-op: there's only 14 people in the entire high school, only 8 in my particular class. i doubt i'll forget them lol, we're pretty close-knit (virtue of the small size)
although i doubt any of them would forget me either, i'm a fairly strong personality and more than one classmate has commented on how the co-op is gonna be weird without me next year.
