I got the job I interviewed for a couple weeks back!! I was so scared they didn't want me because I hadn't heard back from them yet and then today I got an email finally! :3
I'm basically working as a customer service officer at a federal office, helping marginalized people find access to job opportunities who are currently unemployed. I've been told it'll take some patience, but we'll see how I make out. I'm super looking forward to it and I start in a couple of months!

That's so awesome! Yeah, having prior work experience with an employer is super valuable, good for you! I go to a pretty small university, so it's hard to come by here/most of the prof's aren't really specializing in the area I'm headed towards, so I usually just end up applying for jobs through my hometown/government student hiring sites. But I mean, I guess people skills translate to pretty well any job I want to do as a career, so that'll be helpful xD

Congrats! I hope it's a good job for you! help me find a job pls? Thank you! I really hope so too ^_^ Tbh I just found it through an online government run student job bank. You basically just submit your resume to them, let them know where you would be interested in working and select skill sets that you have and voila, you get matched with jobs in your area of interest/that are local It's like a dating app but for jobs, hahaha

I don't have much in terms of people skills i kinda wanted to be a real estate agent but i'm not good enough with people for that.

𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚜𝚝𝚢 ❄: Oh wow, that does sound like a big deal. Do you get to help train dogs for your work? Working with animals would be super rewarding. I used to volunteer at an animal shelter back home :3 People skills are great to have, although not everyone gets them/I wouldn't be too discouraged if you don't find that's your "strength area". And mine are still somewhat specific, like I'm really good one-on-one or in small groups of people to help them, but I could never be a teacher/prof because I've come to find managing and teaching large groups just leads to frustration for me in most cases. It's hard to get everyone's attention and feel like you're actually accomplishing something

darkforestwarrior: It's super convenient, actually. I'm Canadian, so I don't know if such things exist outside of Canada, but it's worth checking out regardless. And if you are in Canada, then SEED and FSWEP are the two big programs to apply through for most students. Plus I did do a bit of resume spamming in my hometown as well, it never hurts to just drop off to a few businesses that interest you.

@starflower
Yes, sometimes.it's a dog sitting place but more of a kinder garden for dog,most of the dogs are cute and kind the rest are pure evil like the one that tried to pull my pants down. (I'm still not sure whether she hates me or loves me) and the giant one that licked another dogs pee then tried to get me with his giant tongue.

𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚜𝚝𝚢 ❄: Hahaha, oh dear. Sounds like a typical kindergarten for kids, but then somehow worse xD My friend in high school had a dog who would do the pulling-pants down thing, she was just super hyperactive and not properly trained when they rescued her. At the same time though, having a German Shepherd and just letting it play bite is fine when it's a pup, but once it's a full grown adult gets a little concerning/threatening.

I know they start licking then proceed to shove your arm into their mouth,lucky none of them use their teeth otherwise i would be stuck typing with only one hand.

𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚜𝚝𝚢 ❄: That...would not be good. I've never worked with any professionals or anything, but my dad has just always been really good with dogs in general and so has taught me how to act accordingly around them./I've managed to never have gotten attacked. Now cats...those are another story xD
