If you want to just build your post after the last couple posts from us that would be great. My last post should have enough to go off of. Zane and Kamaria are racing towards the lake so put him within range of the lake area.)

Lachlan been down by the lake, only looking for a drink. The game path ran right through here, and soon enough, prey would come through. He hid in the brush by the lake, pressed low to the ground, shifting into his wolf form. When he pressed his jet black body to the ground, he was practically invisible. Checking to make sure he was downwind, he waited to strike. A family of boar had moved towards the lake, one mother and two young, the mother watching while the babies drank. When she deemed the area safe, she too bent to drink.
A crashing sound from the forest startled the boar, all three of them running. Lachlan swore under his breath, hurling himself from the brush, pelting after the boar. If he killed the mother, then he'd have to kill the babies too, before something less merciful in killing did. When it came to prey, Lachlan treated them humanely, making their deaths swift as possible. He'd have to settle with smoking a lot of pork tonight. He chased down the mother first, he strides becoming a blur. The dire wolf was an incredible predator, and with a push from his powerful hind legs, he sank his lengthened canines into the sow. He left the body behind, sniffing the air. The piglets were much slower, and he had very little trouble catching them, too. He brought the bodies back into a pile. Now he had to deal with whoever the tribe members were.
He grit his teeth. Tribe members. They were all set in their minds. They'd had it out for him from the beginning. Maybe it wouldn't be too bad to have a little fun... He sank back to the ground, easily blending in with the dark, marshy swamp.

(Sorry guys, busy week)
Kamaria laughed, propelling herself forward as quickly as her aching muscles could. “You're the cheater,” she panted, a huge smile still plastered on her face. “I was just getting my payback for earlier!” With a few more strides, she finally reached the open area and launched herself out onto the narrow stretch of plains, dashing across the land. The lake was just barely visible now, a hint of shimmering blue framed by the dark green of the swamps. Swerving to her right, Kamaria made a beeline for the water. The race wouldn't last much longer now, and Zane had the advantage over the flat territory. She had to get moving. Pushing herself even further, Kamaria increased her speed again, her sides heaving with the effort. She managed to draw even with the grey stallion, but couldn't quite pass him yet. The strain of the continued running was starting to take its toll.

Zane's real advantage was the long distance sprint. If they had only had a dead sprint for a short distance, she would have absolutely won. However, the race had lasted for much longer than he anticipated and he could tell Kamaria was began to wane. Nevertheless he sensed her at his side and he marveled at the fact that she could still run with him after the length of the run. He pushed himself harder, his chest heaving with effort. He was going to win if that was the last thing he did. The extra burst of speed gave him the slight edge over her. The end of the race was within sight.
Zane zoomed down the embankment and stretched himself towards the water.

Longclaw511 §|§ Taku Shaw §|§ Redtail Hawk §|§ Tribe Member Taku has dark brown hair almost black, much like the color of the hawk. He let's it grow to about his shoulders before trimming it up some. He has light brown eyes and some freckles under his eyes and around his nose. He stands around 5'10 and weighs some where near 125. He has a slender build needing to be agile in the air sometimes. He is 19 years old so he only got the somewhat gist of how to use his powers. He doesn't randomly birthday out into his hawk form anymore but definitely not as developed as the older tribe members. From his tribal animal, he received the power of intense eyesight and hearing ablity. Despite the controversy of it being disgraceful, Taku likes to keep his redtail hawk in his hut. It keeps him comfort and allows him to feel like he always has a companion. He is not very shy with other people but doesn't want to do anything that Wil make him look immature or weird so he is cautious. In his free time he likes to take the form of his hawk and fly with his real hawk, just soaring in the breeze. With the special connection sometimes it's like having and best friend. Although he would like and human best friend, he doesn't like to get to close to someone, for the thought of losing them would be to much if that day came.

Lachlan watched the two race down to the river, stepping a little closer to the three boar corpses. It was probably in his best interest to get out of there. He shifted back to a human form, stretching his shoulders and cracking his neck. Hauling the mother over his shoulders, and a piglet in each hand, he pushed to his feet, the bodies weighing heavy on him. Checking to make sure he was out of their sight, he kept close to the bank of the lake. His current settlement was on the side of the lake farthest from the temperate forest. He glanced back over his shoulder, rolling his eyes at the two tribe members who were racing. Soon he'd find a way to get back at them.
