Sidney (Sid) Silverstene | 20 | Male Upon first interacting with Sid, one may find him outgoing, light-hearted, or even charming. He loves to crack jokes, play tricks, and mess around. His power comes in quite handy during these situations; making things appear and disappear out of thin air like a magician. Along with this, Sid is really quite intelligent and sometimes cunning: the kind of guy that could either be class clown or class president. In another life he likes to think that he'd be some kind of army general or spy, developing gambits and surmounting others through sheer force of mind. Unfortunately for Sid, this will never happen. While these descriptors are not technically false, beneath his bright exterior is a stone shell layered on by years of betrayal and deceit. When his light facade fades, he is often cold, calculating, and merciless. Sid does not trust easily. At this point, there may not be anyone left in the world that he truly trusts. In terms of his appearance, Sid is tall at 6'1" and about average sized. He's no three-sport athlete or bodybuilder-not like he ever had the chance to try-, but he has the muscle and reflexes that develop from having to climb buildings and make quick getaways. He has light brown hair and blue eyes. For the most part, Sid keeps himself well groomed, although he may sport a beard when too lazy to apport himself a razor. The ability that Sid sports is called apportation. At will, he can bring into creation any object that he can imagine. At his current level of ability, Sid can really only create objects that are less than about ten pounds, otherwise he could quite possibly pass out from the exertion. Furthermore, the objects that he create cannot be organic and can not reach the level of a gun or anything as complex. The unreliability of Sid's power should also be mentioned. In order to bring an object into existence, he must first visualize it in his mind with as much detail as possible, requiring a high level of concentration. If he is unable to do this, his ability can get out of control, causing his creation to forcefully explode as its material fails to correctly cohese. As a remedy to this, Sid carries around a sketchbook in which he draws a reference for objects that he may wish to create in the future. Sid also has a pocket notepad that he can draw in when the sketchpad is out of reach. The objects that Sid creates multiple times become easier and easier to successfully complete. In addition to the first limitation, bringing objects in and out of existence puts a strain on Sid and takes a toll proportional to their size and complexity. | Apportation (Materialization or dematerialization of an object) | Violet (#7F00FF) | Megpoid | Blaze ((Is this good with you Donut?))

(Her eyes didn't glow pumpkin. They only do when she reads minds. But they are pink which is shows her powers but they don't glow until they turn blue)
Mary nodded at the name. Mikel, she thought, drawing out the name as she tested it. Mikel, she repeated with more confidence. She smiled and sang the name in her head as she began to skip, still holding his hand. So, your eyes glow green? Mine glow blue when I use my true power. I just developed this because I'm mute. Mary stopped skipping and looked at Mikel, holding his hand firmly to make him stop as well. Then she dropped it as she pretended to retie the laces of her black boots. Maybe it was paranoia or perhaps something more but something was off. There was no more loud voices, at least none she could hear. Her heart threatened to jump right from her small chest as she felt eyes watching her. Don't use your abilities. Just walk until we get to the end of the block and run as fast as you can, she thought as she stood up and began walking again.

(Oh! Sorry. I thought they glowed, lol. Just ignore that part.)
Mikel smiled and almost began to laugh when Mary skipped around with his hand in hers. He was listening in to her conversation in his head, and was about to say something, when she stopped. He watched as she lowered herself to the ground, his eyes wide in curiosity. He didn't understand what was going on until she spoke to him again. He nodded slightly, not noticable to others walking the streets, and continued to walk with Mary.
Dammit...not again...

Valerie (Val) Hawthorne | 17 | Female Val is not "girly" in any sense of the word. She believes firmly in abolishing the gender norm and stripping away any and all societal ideals and constructions. She is short and slight, measuring only four feet nine inches. She despises being shorter than practically everyone else, but it also works to her advantage in certain situations. Val's usually forest green eyes accent her dark skin and curly hair cut in a pixie style. Val is most often seen with fingerless gloves covering her hands and a brown bandana tied around her cropped hair. She doesn't really care what she's wearing, as long as it's practical and doesn't get in the way. She doesn't see the point of dresses and skirts, though she respects those who can wear them. Val can be rude and abrasive at times, as well as rash and reckless. She often doesn't think before she speaks or acts, landing herself in danger. Despite her blunt personality, she makes friends and trusts far too easily. Val prefers not to share a lot about herself, but will often nonetheless put her faith in a complete stranger. | Val has the power to levitate, but she hasn't had much practice with it. She can't currently go higher than a few inches off the ground, but she tries. Once she gets the hang of it she'll be able to move around through the air at will. | dull silver | megpoid strider

Mary tightened the straps of her bag so that it was secure against her body for when she broke out into a sprint. Are you ready to run? she asked him mentally as they got closer to the end of the block. We are going to turn right and sprint as fast as we can. When either you or me get tired first, grab a hand and pull the other into the first open bar or restaurant you see. We'll sprint through and escape through the back. It will buy us time to hide in the alley. Mary smiled widely and turned to walk backward, miming a laugh at something Mikel might have said. Yeah, two men are following us but they probably aren't alone. We run in one, two...three! Mary took off in the direction she had told Mikel hoping that he was behind her. There was no way she was going to be taken but she was exhausted since she didn't have the best stamina. It already hurt to breathe but nothing was open that she had past yet. If they get me just keep running, Mikel. I can't keep this up for long so unless we get a miracle... Mary didn't finish as she looked at the ground. Her boots splashed in puddles from earlier rain and she almost tripped as the lack of traction in her worn out boots began to take its toll.

Mikel began to run with Mary, as fast as he could. He noticed her becoming exhausted and reached out for her hand. "I'll help." He murmured, before pulling the two of them onward. He felt better protecting the one who saved him. After all, who would he be if he left her to die? After a few seconds, he nudged them into an open restaurant, the atmosphere dark and full of red and black. He knew what kind of place they had broke into, once he noticed the bodies dancing everywhere, but he insisted on progressing towards the back. In this dark place, it would be easier to get away.

Mary looked at his hand with wide eyes when he took her hand. The moment was lessened by the shouts behind them and the weight of their situation. When they entered the place Mikel dragged her into, she blushed as she couldn't help but stare. Mikel, do you think those are real? Mary asked looking at a woman who seemed to have way more in a place she lacked. She used her free hand to touch her chest and she frowned as she followed him. When they got outside to the alley, Mary pulled him towards the dumpster and pushed him towards it. Get in there and bury yourself as much as you can. Mary looked towards the exit and then at the dumpster again. When you get in help me up[/], she told him as she fidgeted with her dress as she waited.

Mikel noticed her fidgeting with her dress and chest. He wanted to tell her that, no, he didn't think those girls chests were actually real. But, he decided against it and hopped up into the dumpster. Once inside, he reached out and grabbed her hand. "Alright! I'm ready to pull you up!" He whispered, leaning out the side of the trash bin. The smell was atrocious and the flies and bugs inside were very pestering, but at least it would keep them away from those vile creatures and send them away.

Mikel glanced over at the girl who approached them. "We're hiding. There's some...bad people coming." He motioned for her to take his other hand, "Here, grab on!"

Mary's eyes glowed blue when her resolve finally caved in and she read Mikel's mind. A smirk appeared on her lips as she slowly shook her head. Her eyes returned to normal when he grabbed her hand, but the voice startled her into letting go. Mary turned and fixed her eyes on someone who was actually shorter than her. Maybe someone who had seen her eyes change. Her feet began to carry her back as she felt her flight instincts take over. Pink eyes flitted over to Mikel as she froze, wondering if she should leave him. Should she leave anyone like her? How many people can do what she does and are in the same situation? Not many, that's for sure. Mary gripped the fabric of her blue dress as her eyes shifted to their baby blue, the glow lighting up her face. Her expression grew surprised as she read the girl's mind, the blonde's eyes shifting back to pink. Mary walked over to her and pulled her over to the dumpster, lifting her up into it. She retook Mikel's hand and pulled herself up, closing the dumpster's lid. Bury yourselves and be silent no matter what. Trust me this works.

A bit grossed out by the situation, Mikel buried himself into the trash, trying to hide in it. A small chair with a leg missing was situated above him, along with a few trash bags and miscellaneous rubbish. He glanced over at Mary and the new girl. Closing his eyes, he let them glow light green again. He could sense Mary's energy again, a bright color, and he also picked up on the new girls. It was dancing, new and free. She was like them, too, he realized.

Mikel tried to push his power's limit, trying to locate any people outside the bin. He noticed another dark energy, same from before, that paced restlessly outside the dumpster. He opened his eyes then, motioning to the two girls. He pointed outside, then put a finger over his lips. They could be caught. He needed to keep an eye out, since his powers allowed him to do so. However, he couldn't make it reach out farther than right outside the dumpster, which sucked. He dug himself deeper, trying to hide. He didn't want to get caught, but he also needed to protect those like him.

Mary grabbed the closest hand she could get which, based on the size and smoothness of the skin, belonged the the girl she knew was Valerie. She was trembling, not just her life was on the line this time and it terrified her. What if her idea got them all caught? What if they were taken and experimented on for the rest of their lives because of her? Tears rolled down her dirty face as she began to tremble. I can't see them so I don't know what they are thinking. I don't think they are the same two who were chasing us from before, Mary thought to the two in the dumpster with her.

Valerie nodded, trying to stop herself from trembling. She knew she was safer with others like her, but she also knew more was at risk. She'd be caught if she had stayed in the restaurant, but she might yet still be caught. She wished desperately her power could help them here, but it seemed the other two had better suited powers. Val wanted to tell them why she wasn't helping out, why she was basically being dead weight, but to talk would be to get them caught and experimented on. She'd have to save her explanation for if they got out of here. Nervously, Val tightened her grip on Mary's hand, taking comfort in the fact she wasn't alone.

Mikel kept his eyes closed, keeping a sharp "eye" on the enemies' energies outside. He had to take frequent breaks, however, since when using his own power, it ended up using a lot of his energy. And, he did not want to lose so much energy if they found them and they needed to run. If anything, he needed to be able to fight back and make sure the other two escaped. They probably had a place, somewhere. Possibly friends with someone, or maybe they had family. He, on the other hand, did not have a family. So then what would it matter if he sacrificed his own life for those of others, especially of his own kind?
"We can't stay here forever..." He murmured, so quietly he was sure the men outside wouldn't hear him. But, he knew Mary could hear him. And maybe the other girl had something similar. He wasn't sure what her powers were, yet. He couldn't pick up on those types of energies. Just different auras and energies of people around him, and possibly a small dose of their emotions, if he could stretch that far. However, he hadn't been able to do that much. He'd only been able to accurately determine someone's emotions once, and that was his parents. He was close to them, so it helped. He assumed it wouldn't be as easy on complete strangers.

A dull blue glow filled the dumpster as Mary listened to their thoughts. She could only listen to one mind at a time, but years of relying on her psychic abilities made it possible for her to use it effectively. The one problem was that she couldn't focus on what was going on outside of their minds. When Mary peeked into another person's thoughts, she could get lost in the memories and the thoughts going through their head. That's another reason why she didn't use her power that often. Don't risk your life just for us, she said mentally, her thoughts appearing in the minds of both Valerie and Mikel so that she wasn't being rude. Her mental voice was a whisper as she thought it was best for the situation if she acted like it mattered. Also she didn't want to frighten them. I don't have a family either. I've been alone for most of my life so don't think you are the only one who is alone here. We are going to get out of this situation together, okay? Mary looked at him with her still blue eyes as she waited for him to respond. Oh, and respond in your head. I can tell Valerie what you say. If we are every hiding and you want to sleep, tap on me and I'll pass the message along. I can only listen to one mind at a time though.
