Vison was up as soon as his alarm went off, scrambling clumsily to grab it and turn it off, letting out a breath of relief. The young man sat up, stretching out his arms and making a strained noise as he arched his back. Sleepily he stood up, rubbing his tired eyes until it dawned on him what day it was. Eyes lighting up, he checked his phone for the date because one could never be too sure about things right? It was! It was the day! A giddy little noise of excitement escaped as he realized that today was orientation and he was going to get a human all to himself! It wasn't so much for the fact that he was excited to have a source of food, no, because that part kind of bothered him when he thought about it. No, he was more excited over the fact that he was going to have his very own little delicate human to look after. Kind of like a pet in some sick, twisted way. But that was Vison for you. He was fascinated with humans and everything about them. The vampire thought they were endangered, and that really only made him more excited to have one. It was obvious that it never seemed to click that there were billions of humans in the world all around him. No matter how many times he was told he just never seemed to let that bit of information sink in. So it was probably just best to allow him to go about his ways and keep on believing that humans were endangered. Endangered and adorable, that was what he thought of them. Kind of like how humans saw pandas.

He had to look his best of course, only dressing the very best would be acceptable for such a special day. Rummaging through his clothes he hummed a little tune that he made up as he went, looking over each article of clothing carefully as he tried to put together an outfit. As he went he threw certain pieces onto his bed that he felt like would work for his outfit. This was a normal thing for him, taking awhile to pick out clothes for the day, but today in particular was an important day in his opinion. "Not that one, oh goodness no, that one would not make a good impression at all," he shook his head, tossing the article of clothing aside. "Oh yes, that one will do just fine, just fine indeed," he sung out happily, getting giddy at the idea of making a good first impression. Changing into a tight black shirt over a white tank top and black jeans with his boots he slipped on his long black leather coat and slipped his scarf on, draping it loosely so it hung around his shoulders. After styling his hair in the usual way, he put his boots on and looked over himself, seeming to debate on if this was acceptable enough. "Can't forget these," he murmured, slipping on dark leather gloves and then finally looking content with himself until he noticed his eyes,"hrmm." Digging through his things before pulling out a tube of eyeliner he carefully lined his eyes, holding his breath as he tried not to poke himself in the eyes. "That looks good enough..." he decided, putting it away before leaving the door, doing his best to keep his composure as he made his way to orientation. "So excited, so excited, so excited!!" Okay so keeping his composure wasn't working.

Vison made his way among the other vampires, watching excitedly with awe. Oh this was so much fun! Of course it didn't really click though why they were begin paired up with humans, at least not yet. While he adored humans, he still fed from them because well, he had to feed to live right? Duh! "They're all so cute," he breathed out under his breath as he watched his human fellow students. "All so fragile and delicate and so darn adorable," his voice was a whisper because he was mainly just talking to himself at the moment, focused on the group of humans being paired up as other vampire's Chosens. "Which one is mine," he practically whined under his breath, getting impatient because he wanted to meet his so badly. A human all to himself! His very own! The suspense was killing him now and he was growing more and more impatient by the second. "Ooh that one's cute," he'd comment every once in awhile whenever a pair was made and he pressed his scarf over his face, making a high pitched "squeeing" noise like a nerd as he watched the ceremony go on.

ohhhohohoho I see. that'd sure be interesting. But if the vampire died when the human did, wouldn't that limit the vamp's lifespan to the average lifespan of a mortal, since, y'know, old age.
