I want some opinions going before I put my own.

He's alright. I wasn't keen on him in Bluestar's Prophecy and he was partly to blame for Crookedstar's injury. But after reading his novella I understand his character more. It confuses me however that he can essentially see the future but didn't know the battle with Windclan, where Moonflower lost her life, would be a bad idea.

He truly believed that the battle was a good idea. Obviously all the visions he gets wouldn't all be useful, and it would be hard to tell.

I read his novella and he prophesized every battle, every prophecy, and what kits would do in their lives.

I read a theory were he was prophicizing the battle during eclipse I came up with that theory, and it's confirmed that for once, Goosefeather was wrong. And yet, he sometimes received prophecies, read omens, and saw futures that wouldn't be relevant to ThunderClan until after his death.

And yet, he sometimes received prophecies, read omens, and saw futures that wouldn't be relevant to ThunderClan until after his death. I mean, giving his ability he probably started seeing omens in every little thing after a while since there was no way for him to shut it off.

I like Goosefeather. I felt bad that he couldn't shut his power off though.

I recently read his novella, and I really feel bad for Goosefeatherโฆ The ability to see the future would really drive him crazy, especially since he can't do anything to change itโฆ As for the battle with Windclan that killed his sister, I always got the idea that he saw there would be a battle with Windclan where they would need to destroy the herbs, but not who would win or what casualties each side would take.

Though it was pretty interesting how Pearnose helped Goosepaw out with learning herbs. And Cloudberry too. For some reason, I really like Beetail.
I think Goosefeather was a good mentor to Featherwhisker.
