pyrusserpenoid and mintedstar/fur🦇: Aranea briefly looked from Myrnin to the rest of the group, and then back to the vampire. "Well, for the time being it seems," she replied. She popped a shred of bread into her mouth and resumed speaking once she'd eaten a couple more. "We were mainly needing water and waiting on you. I don't think anyone wants to stay here for very long." "You are correct on that point," Jakob spoke up, heading over to the two. "I believe it would be best to get on our feet again as soon as possible and ask the townspeople here if they know anything, but that is merely a suggestion."

Nagei was a bit thirsty. Maybe she should have something to drink. Speckles caws a bit. "What's the plan?" Niles asks. "We can't hide here forever." -- Munei sees a small opening in a wall. He saw a small bit of light coming from it. "Give me a signal if you guys manage to find anything or are in trouble" Mori said as he started walking in a different direction in search of something interesting

"The people sound like they don't know what they saw when we were out there." Nagei says.

Munro nods and seemingly looks through the small hole to see a fire and some creatures gathered around it.

Kuragehime pyrusserpenoid Myrnin tapped his fingers together, looking awkward. "Perhaps ill-advised that I try to talk with them anyway." He didn't elaborate more, but from the slightly nervous looks he was shooting the windows adding two and two together wasn't very hard. Vanessa came wandering back, looking like she'd found little of use. She cast a glance at Aranea, then Jakob and everyone else in the room. "Then are we just leaving?" She didn't care one way or the other. Things worked out how they worked out.

mintedstar/fur🦇 and pyrusserpenoid: Aranea tied up the little food sack once more and pushed her chair back. "I suppose we are, if no one has any objections. I for one feel like my feet are ready to go again," she said with a slight smile. She slung the sack over one shoulder and swiped her lance from the wall it was leaning against before looking to the rest of the group. "Everyone ready?" "Quite," Jakob grunted.

Nagei and Speckles were ready for the worse. Outside, however, had become calm. The peiple chatted among themselves and seemed to not mind anything.
"Its almost as if what happened had been comepletely forgotten." Nagei says.

"Odd," said Myrnin, but he didn't seem adverse to the idea. Still, he didn't seem particularly willing to stick around, considering he still cast hesitant glances around. "What were we planning then?" he asked. "Heading in a random direction?" "I'm fine with that idea," mumbled Vanessa.

mintedstar/fur🦇 and pyrusserpenoid: "Perhaps that type incident is a normality for the people here?" Jakob proposed quietly, lightly tapping his chin. "Maybe," Aranea murmured with a surveying glance once she stepped outside. She took a few steps before facing the rest of the group. "Sounds like everyone's in favor of moving on, so how are we deciding which way to go?"

"Maybe we should split up and reconvene later." Nagei says. "It might save some time looking at everything the place has." It seemed like a good idea. After all, it wasn't a bad idea.

"I care not," said Myrnin with a half-yawn. "If that's what you want to do, where do we meet back up?" Vanessa wasn't too sure about the idea. It seemed like they kept running off any any direction imaginable and whatever happened they just kept moving pointlessly around. They were in another world. There had to be rules. But how could they learn them if they just kept ... messing around!

"That might be good..." Aranea started. She crossed her arms and looked to Nagei. Her head tilted to one side and her foot started tapping. "However, if that attack a little while ago is any hint as to what else we may encounter here, I think it may be best if we stick together. Unless, of course, you all are confident in your fighting abilities. I don't want to underestimate anyone," she went on, cracking a smile. "I think we should put together a more formal plan of action. Nothing good could possibly come from wandering about aimlessly," Jakob muttered.

(Sure.) Hours past as Nagei looked around not really seeing much. The town feels empty and along with it, there were people glaring at the group. Niles, on the other hand, looked up. The sky was still unchanged. No time seems to past, even if they feel time past.

Jakob was paying more attention to the people they passed on the street. For every glare he met eyes with, he returned it at an even greater intensity. Finally even he got tired of it and turned away with a scoff. "The nerve of these people. We saved them from a vicious beast and they send us looks like this?" he muttered. Aranea shrugged. "Maybe they're not used to newcomers, or it could be that face of yours Mr. Butler," she said with a smirk. "Anyway we need to focus, people. The townspeople don't matter unless they have information for us."

"We're not even from here," Vanessa pointed out. "If a bunch of strangers with odd ... habits," she was eyeing Myrnin. "Turned up would you trust them at once?" But she had to agree with Aranea. She didn't think the townpeople were really important. They weren't getting them out of this town. "Suggestions for what to do?" she asked dryly. "Or where to go?"

From the shadows came a figure. He approached the group. The person had a hood on. Nagei didn't know how to feel about this. Niles kept his bow out slowly reaching for an arrow, just in case.

Jakob noticed the figure and immediately slipped his daggers from their sheaths. He took a step back and held them defensively, narrowing his eyes at the stranger. "Well, looks like we're dealing with this first," Aranea murmured, reaching for her lance. She nodded at the unknown man to get his attention. "Can we help you with something, stranger?"

Personally, Myrnin wasn't really surprised when someone approached them. They had the nervous, glaring townspeople, so there had to be some who were a bit more curious. As it was, however, he wasn't that interested in finding out who it was. He yawned, mouth stretching wide like some languid cat. Vanessa, on the other hand, also drew a weapon. She held her blowgun close, at the ready.

"I wish to know who you are." The stranger says. "I saw the fight with the cat and I was wondering who you were." Nagei felt a little uneasy about this stranger. The stranger kept still so as not to aggravate the group further.

Aranea looked the stranger up and down, hand still on her weapon. However, like them she made no unnecessary movements for the same reason. She glanced over each shoulder at the other members of the group as she thought about how to answer them. Revealing any personal information right off the bat was probably not the best idea. "We're not from this town, if that's what you mean. I guess you could call us wanderers."

"You could also call us lost," said Myrnin, bluntly and without the reservation that Aranea had. He put his hands behind his head, stretching. "Like, what do you want? Are we really that interesting." "My line," muttered Vanessa. She didn't lower her weapon either.

"I might be able to help you." The stranger states. "The people around here may be cold to strangers like you, but I believe I can guide you back to your homes." Nagei hesitated. She didn't know how to feel about this.
