Munei nodded and exited the store. The weather was a bit peaceful, but seemingly strange. The sky had clouds, but they didn't move. Munei looked around to see that Niles was still sitting on that rock. Vanessa cast a glance at Jakob before she followed. She was slightly bored and wondered if there was anything she could do while she waited around. "Now what?" she asked.

KuragehimeKasha was very tired of waiting of this...yokai hunter to get out of the way. He clapped his hands, looking rather exasperated. "Oh, aren't I lucky that I'm the only one around to be annoyed by you." One second he was in the doorway and the next he was on the path outside, looking back at the Medicine Seller. "Will you be entertained following me then? Or will I have to give you a formal invitation?" -- The vampire trotted after her, looking pleased at the complement. "Thanks!" He kept up easily with Aranea and seemed to be enjoying his time here quite a bit. "So," he asked, grinning. "What's your world like anyway?"

mintedstar/fur🦇 and pyrusserpenoid: "I think doing something of the sort would be best. It won't hurt to have more information on this place," Jakob said, examining one of his daggers. He slipped it back into his boot and took out his coin purse, checking the amount of gold coins he had left. ~~~ Mint: The Medicine Seller took a step to the side and turned around. "I don't know if entertained would be the right word..." he murmured. He reached down and put the two balances away before reaching back and adjusting the purple bandanna on his head. After that was fixed he started walking after Kasha, sword in one hand and charms in the other. ~ "My world? It's a mess right now," Aranea said, pausing a moment before explaining. "Where should I start? The kingdom I used to serve destroyed itself, the world has been plunged in eternal darkness, and thanks to this the daemons are everywhere and multiplying. Makes this place seem like a walk in the park." She let out a bitter laugh that ended in a sigh before looking to Myrnin. "So? How about yourself?"

"I don't mind," said the blix, shrugging. "Seems like the best place to start. If you want to know something, go to the place that is supposed to keep the records and the like. Either that, or a library might be worth something."

Makes this place seem like a walk in the park." She let out a bitter laugh that ended in a sigh before looking to Myrnin. "So? How about yourself?" Kuragehime"How would you put it then?" asked Kasha easily, as if this man was just a pleasant acquaintance that he'd started to chat with on the street. The yokai's steps were light and he eyed each nearby building as if it would contain something that he could potentially find useful. This 'Medicine Seller' seemed very interesting...Kasha considered. He'd probably have to figure out his weaknesses somewhere or another otherwise he'd never be left alone. -- Myrnin looked at her for a second. "And where do you fit into all of that?" he wondered. This girl was fighting in a world of darkness...though vampires lived for the darkness Myrnin...didn't. He could all to easily picture that world, as in his darker days it used to be inside his own head. "Me?" he asked after a second as the question reached his brain. "I live in a small desert town that only sees any new people because we have a college. It's called Morganville. You could say, if you were being generous, that I'm the third in command and the first line of defense. Defense, that is, against any outside attention. Humans. They used to hunt myself and other vampires, so we made a town in a rather inhospitable location and we've been there long enough that the outside world thinks we are myths!"

mintedstar/fur🦇 KuragehimeMikaela followed Yuichiro down an aisle as he picked a few things off the shelf and tossed them back towards the vampire. Mika stared at his friend, shaking his head, then glancing off at the others. "Hey Yu-chan, you probably shouldn't pick up everything you see. You don't want to be like that fat cat, do you?" "Fine, then it looks like that all for me," Yuichiro said, "is everyone almost done?"

pyrusserpenoid and mintedstar/fur🦇 : Jakob followed quietly behind Munei and Vanessa as they spoke with the passerby. At the mention of the history museum he took a look around them, searching for any signs that may point them there. ~~~ broken and Mint: Natsume and Madara came around the corner and headed back to the others. "We're done," Natsume said, his arms full. Beside him Madara looked pretty pleased with himself, and in a much better mood. The cat was humming cheerfully in anticipation of getting into the sweets he chose. ~~~ Mint: The Medicine Seller shrugged, his wooden geta sandals lightly clicking against the ground as he walked. "I wonder..." he said, grinning slightly. He stayed a few steps behind the yokai, but near enough to keep a close eye on him. Despite what Kasha had said earlier, the Medicine Seller was starting to believe this yokai was not on the level of mononoke yet... or at least not yet on the level of the other mononoke he'd encountered. ~ "On top of the inhospitality no one would suspect vampires to be living out in the desert, huh," Aranea murmured, nodding slightly. "My world's the opposite. The humans are the ones being forced into a corner but some, like me, are fighting back. To answer your question, I was a Commodore for the kingdom of Niflheim. After finding out about some practices I didn't agree with, and running into the prince of the Lucians and his pals I decided it was best to get out of there. Now I work as a bounty hunter fighting daemons," she explained, not showing much of any emotion as she spoke.
