Years ago, I watched a horror movie (my first one alone, I'm really easy to scare also) really late at night with my headphones in and the lights off and my room is right above my parents. It came to this scary part and I whisper-yelled "no" like several times and not even a minute later my mom called me to make sure I was okay. Turns out I may have been telling because I had earbuds in, who knew :/
I think back on this a lot whenever I play or watch something really scary at night. Like right now, even though it's not dark, I let out a scream and my mom just yelled up to make sure I was okay.

for me, it depends on the content. Like I can watch the Walking Dead without a problem, but other things such as Black Sails, I can't watch

Like I can watch the Walking Dead without a problem, but other things such as Black Sails, I can't watch movies or games with jump scares will never fail to make me scream. I just can't like how about not lol, sometimes blood, but that just makes me really uncomfortable. I can watch TWD without screaming, I just have to look away every now and then. Never heard of Black Sails though :0

psychological horrors (the conjuring, stuff like that)TERRIFY me and although I can watch really gory stuff, I have nightmares about it and they make me really uncomfortable. I don't deal with tension well. After I watched the conjuring I couldn't sleep on my own for 6 months. *shudder*

Is it bad that I find fnaf creepy??
I mean, I wouldn't want to be locked in a pizzeria with destroyed robots who are posessed by murdered children that were stuffed in them thanks a bunch.
The fandom is what made this game a joke really. And to be bluntly honest, some parts of SL were terrifying.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a scaredy cat lmao

But ye, once you get past the jump scares and look at the bigger picture it's a pretty messed up game. I have no idea what SL is though :0

I'm just weird. Some things meant to be scary don't scare me at all, but the dumbest least-scary things will cause me to get scared. I'm not entirely sure why.

You're half way into the movie and you're like why the heck am I watching this crap??? and then you realize if you turn it off half way, then you'll probably be even more terrified.

honestly......... when im really having fun on overwatch/WoW I will scream when I get hit (which is rare because I play archers on both) and one night I was screaming bloody murder like my friends in the coms with me were actually worried someone was going to call the cops because of how loud I was screaming for help
i asked my mom if she heard me "???no??? you must have not been screaming very loud"

Okay, I am fine with real gory stuff (my favorite movie is actually Felidae which is a cat murder mystery) but I can't play FNAF. I get scared for no reason when trying to play it.

Rainstar huh I didn't realize this thread was so old lmao (like legit I clicked this thinking it was just a week or so old at most lol) and eyyy I literally just heard about that show (wait is it a movie? I was told it was a cartoon show) the other night from this blog I follow on Tumblr. Sounds kind of interesting. FNAF will always make me jump, but blood and gore will make me just have to look away and feel all squeamish.

Oh, it's a movie. I have to warn you though it's a hard R rating. The movie has graphic scenes depicting animal abuse, violence, gore, and sexual intercourse between animals. In addition there are adult themes, strong language, brief use of alcohol and concepts such as cults, vivisection laboratories, ancient Egyptian history, evolutionary theories and a resemblance to the events of The Holocaust of World War II.

Rainstar that sounds pretty intense for a cartoon movie about cats lol but I might possibly watch it. It sounds interesting besides the whole sexual intercourse part haha
