It's said SkyClan went upriver, so they had to pass Highstones. Assuming they went to the patch of forest that is partially shown in the Forest-To-Lake map, SkyClan may have to go through the Tribe of Rushing Water's territory. This may mean we could possibly see Stormfur and Brook again, as they may be willing to help guide them to the lake. |

I always thought they would have gone across highstones and then up, near to the small thunderpath. Then they found their new camp which would be very close to the things you can see on the map, above the highstones part. Very close to the Clan territories.
But I really hope we don't see the mountain cats again. The SoTM just seemed like the Erins had no ideas so they just made them go again. A book about the tribe would be the best way to get them in again, but not the main series. I don't think they would help them there, either. It should be easy to just tell them.

Assuming that the river that goes through the forest territory is the same river they follow all the way to the gorge, then yeah, it would make sense for that patch of forest to the right of the tribe would be SkyClan's territory- or at least close to it.
If that's true, then Sandstorm lead Alderpaw and the others through twolegplace (around the tribe) and to the river- the only way she knew. I doubt she would realize that they could have saved a lot of time by cutting through Tribe territory- and maybe she wouldn't have died had they not gone through twolegplace.
The question is though- where is SkyClan now? I haven't read Hawkwing's Journey, but I do know that SkyClan are no longer in their territory. If they are close enough to the clans now to not have to meet the tribe cats, then it looks like we won't see them.

Also just to clarify, is this what you're talking about? :   The red line is how SkyClan and Firestar and Sandstorm traveled, the yellow line is now Sandstorm and her patrol probably traveled, and the blue line is how ThunderClan travels to the tribe (these are all estimates anyway, please correct me if I have anything wrong). |

You're right, Winter. However, we aren't sure where they went at all, they could have somehow gotten further away. I'm not really hyped to see the Tribe, but I'd like to know how Stormfur and his family are doing. |
