[ i'd love to do a medieval RP! both of those sound good, too. i'm happy with either - you can flip a coin to decide lol.
also, don't worry. i tend to get a bit carried away when writing my replies, so they fit the length ]

The night surrounded the large city of Almei. The capital city of the kingdom with the same name. It was quite large, and bustling despite it being night time. The castle was holding a grand ball for the Princess' coming of age ceremony. So noble from all over went to go see her, and try to woo the young lady. This year a kingdom that had recently signed a peace treaty was present for the first time in years. Garou a land full of kitsunes who have been at war with humans for years. However with the recent treaty the local King of the Kitsune, Kin was there with his son Rou'nolf, or Rou as the people called him.
They had arrived quite late in the night, stood closer to the exit the entire time. They weren't planning anything shady no they just weren't used to these kind of events. Kin was a big man, he looked like a beast of a man with a muscular build. People wouldn't think him a kitsune if it wasn't for the ears, and tail. Speaking of ears he was missing half of his left one. He wore rags compared to the other human nobles' suit. Rou his son was much more kitsune like. A slender build, and a face that could make the meanest of females turn into fangirls. He had on the same kind of rags as his father though his gave off the kind a priest would wear. This made since, for kitsune were known as divine creatures.
(I'd type more, but I don't wanna what kind of character you're rping :^p You can the princess, or whatever you want. If you wanna be guy go ahead, but I'm either going to change Rou into a girl, or we'll just have no romance~)

[ can i make my character a half kitsune? but no one knows - like her mother had a secret affair. i mean, i'm fine with her just being a human but i just thought it might be more drama/plot. she could just not know. i guess maybe she could imagine some things about her are different, but she hasn't turned into a fox or anything before. does that make sense? i only quickly googled a kitsune so i hope i understand it right.]

(Yea that's fine, but uh Rou, and his father are gonna be werewolves then if you want romance. Cause all the kitsune are related. Also a kitsune is just a person who turns into a nine tailed fox to fight. A werewolf in this plot is basically the same thing, but a stronger fighter who turns into a wolf when fighting. So basically kitsune gonna be faster, werewolf gonna be stronger.)

(Okay since I know more about your character, and am changing mine I'mma retype a starter. You could make your character the princess of the humans who was half kitsune. Though you're gonna have to come up with how she hides the ears, and tail~ xD Or you can just be from the kitsune nation.)
The midnight moonlight shone down on the mountains of Gouro the small nation on the island of Divero. This island kingdom was separated into three nations for the three different races. Gouro the leading nation was home to the werewolves, Helia was the more religious nation home to the divine Kitsune race, and finally was Draconia the home of the manakete, or dragon people. These races lived in harmony for years for they had one common enemy on the mainland was the human kingdoms. Humans sought these shapeshifter for fur, pets, and slaves so they had been at war for a long time. However recently the humans, and Divero nations agreed to a peace treaty though the manakete race didn't want to sign it.
So now was the time the humans hosted a party for there new friends to come to, this party had to do with the princess of the humans coming to age. The manakete race only sent one person there a elder dragon since they had no intentions on trying to sprout a romance between their prince, and the humans princess. The kitsune sent their princess, and high priest to make some friends. Finally the Gouro sent their war commander, and crown prince of the werewolves.
The Gouro war commander had been a bit late since he was preoccupied with something, so now the party was to the half way point. This werewolf man was known as Salive. He was a short, but well built man. He wasn't a giant in muscle, though he had the body of a warrior. A lot of people would say he didn't give off a warrior look despite the fact he was Gouro's best warrior, and that wasn't because they were weak. Anyways the man had tied long black hair into a more noble ponytail, and wore a toga of sorts that had a black tint with red outlining it. This was the Gouro's attempt as fancy clothing. His green eyes glanced around staring at the people before finding himself a place to stand. He was here merely for appearance sake.

[ i guess her being half human means her fox features aren't shown in human form, but in turn, she can only turn into the fox form for a limited amount of time - she doesn't have great control of it.]
Eira had never been confident in front of big crowds. As the golden jewelled crown was rested atop her head, she gulped nervously. She could feel the hundreds of eyes staring into her shoulders and back, and when she turned around to face the crowd, she stood straight and held her chin high so she could look right over their heads. Her mother clasped her hands and watched proudly, while her father puffed out his chest.
She felt the breath rush from her lungs when music started to play and the crowd moved off to dance in celebration. In the back of her mind, she was flattered by the fuss of it all, but her front was more cautious. She didn't have too much time to think. As soon as the music started, her hands were grabbed and she was pulled away to dance. Her feet spun on the ground, her body was moved with her partner and all she could do was follow them. When one person had their dance, they would bow and kiss the back of her hand before moving off to find another partner. Before she even had time to reclaime her hand, someone had stolen it again.
It wasn't until quite some time later that she was able to move out from the crowd. The room had become quite warm from all the dancing - or was it just her blood pumping too hard? Her red hair was somewhat mussed, and it stuck to the side of her face with sweat, which she so ungracefully wiped away. She straightened down the fabric of her dress - a beautiful emerald fabric with hand embroidered gold decorations (only the best for the princess!), the sleeves were made of leafy patterned lace. A glance to the right showed a fat and proud man walking directly toward her. With haste, she walked in the opposite direction. Whilst this was not princess behaviour, she couldn't stand the thought of having to dance with another old man. This lead her straight to Salive. Sort of. She ducked to stand next to a potted plant, which was the only thing blocking her from being next to the stoic man.
[ i haven't rped in so long o.o ]

Salive stood quite silently throughout the entire party, in fact he hadn't talked to one person. His gaze didn't even follow the princess like most guys who weren't dancing did. In fact his gaze stayed on the window as if he was waiting to leave, which he was. He had no intentions on dancing, or talking. He was a warrior prince, not a dancing prince. Well he wasn't even a prince really he was a chief in training. His race didn't like the title king since Chief just sounded so much better to them. He crossed his arms blowing a piece of hair out of his face when he noticed a few guys looking around as if they lost sight of the princess. "Hmmm?" He made a small sound looking for the first time himself for the princess, though his eyes didn't spot her.
Until he looked at the potted plant behind it, was a red headed woman. It took a moment before noticing it was the princess this party was for. He stared at for a long moment, even he a man who felt no emotions most the time could tell she was quite good looking. After a moment he stopped staring, and looked out the window again. "Taking a break, milady?" He asked after a bit feeling he should at least take this moment to talk to her for a moment. The gods probably set this meeting up anyways he assumed. He hadn't even expected to get within arms reach of her, nor did he want to. Though technically if he reached his arm out he could touch her arm. "I didn't think you'd ever stop dancing." He laughed a bit, he did have some personality he wasn't a stone.

Hidden in he corner, Eira felt as though she could finally take a breath of fresh air. The sweat on her forehead dried and her flushed pink cheeks faded back to their natural pale cream. She glanced cautiously to the man on the other side of the plant and hoped with all her might that he wouldn't make a scene out of her being there. 'Oh, dearest princess! I've wanted to dance with you all evening, I'm glad you found me!' She could just imagine it and she cringed. Just like Salive, she heard and saw the men who were looking for her and she slipped further back behind the plant.
She stared intensely ahead, her big brown eyes keenly watching. So when a voice broke through the sounds of joy and music, she froze. Though, she hadn't expected the stoic man beside the plant to be the one to utter the words. She nodded slowly, a small smile forming on her lips, "I didn't think I'd ever stop dancing either," she said exhausted, but lightheartedly. "I thought I'd be popular tonight, but this has been beyond my imagination," she added.
She'd been dancing so much that she had not taken notice of Salive throughout the night. She straightened herself up, but was still shorter than the plant. She was able to see through the spaced leaves. "Have you been enjoying the music?" She asked.

Salive's left ear perked up a bit as he was trying to focus on her over the talking, and music. He simply offered a smile at her words at first before coming up with something to say. He wasn't good with words, especially to humans he'd been at war with for most of his life. This would have been easier to deal with if he hadn't been fighting himself. He had been on the battlefields, and had even killed humans prior to this. He didn't hold a grudge on the death of his allies though it was just weird to converse with the enemy. Though they weren't his enemy anymore, in fact they were allies now if anything.
Hearing her question brought his attention back to her as both his ears perked again, it was annoying that people could tell when he was fully listening to them. "Uh, It's good." He commented not sure how to answer that, he wasn't fond of loud noises... And well music was loud noises. However he wasn't one to complain over something he knew would be here. "We don't have this kinda of music back home." He informed the music of the wolfkin were more smoother, and lighter then other musics.
After a moment he looked at her again, and rolled his shoulder slightly. "Well I don't wanna turn off any potential mates for you, so I'mma go outside." He said the opposite words of every other man here. He had no intentions on dancing, or even wooing this princess into liking him. In fact it was quite clear he merely want to get back home to his little cabin in the village.
(You're quite good~ Better than me tbh ^^)

Eira felt intrigued by this wolfkin. She'd met many of his kind before, a lot were through politics, and she'd only seen glimpses through doorways. She listened to his words about the music that wolfkin listen and tried to compare it to the more jumpy sounds of the stringed instruments, the hurried noises on the tambourines, and the occasion sound of someone hitting the gong. It was jolly, it was fast. That is why when she danced, she became so sweaty keeping up.
"Your music sounds lovely," her eyes with filled with wonder. She wondered what wolfkin parties were like - did they dance? Or were most of them like this folk, who stood impassive the whole time. It was hard to tell when she knew so little about his kind.
His next set of words took Eira aback. She was unsure how to feel - unflattered because he didn't even try like most men did, or thankful because he didn't try. She blinked a few times and watched his back as he left. She glanced over her shoulder to the men who were looking for her, then quickly followed Salive outside. She made her mind: she was thankful. She'd gained too much attention from too many men whom she was uninterested in, it felt nice to not have a man stare at her like she was piece of foreign cuisine they wanted to try. "Wait..." she whispered hurriedly to gain his attention. "I, um... I... I don't want to be stuck in there alone, is it okay if I just stand with you for a few minutes?" She asked hesitantly, because she didn't want to give him the wrong idea.

Salive looks at her for a moment not knowing how to respond. He really didn't want her near him for too long, as the other males would want to kill him. However turning her down was not a option either since this was her party. "Whatever you wish." He simply sighed walking outside to get some fresh air, but to also hide the fact the princess was standing with him. He doubt people would look outside for them. "You shouldn't stay gone for too long. They might say I'm trying to kidnap you." He sighed honestly thinking they would try that, this was one of the reason he didn't wanna be here. He didn't think Humans liked his kind. The kitsune were divine race, and the manakete a smart race each had something to offer the humans. However wolfkin where just brutes, and savages.
It was true however his kind where the closest to just animals, sure they had human forms who acted human. However they were quick to anger, wild, and well free. He loved his people quite so for that. While the humans, kitsune, and manakete would keep this peace for awhile the wolfkin chief could one day just wanna start a war. It was scary for some, but to others this was a thrilling life. Salive was one of those, he loved the idea doing what they wanted. They had a council that had to agree, but most wouldn't dare say no to the king. In other words other races would take years to decide on another war, while wolfkin would just do it the next day they wanted to.
Not that a war was on their minds, no they quite enjoyed peace for once. His race was slowly getting into new things, different music type, and even learning to get smarter. The chief had just stated prior to this party he wanted to build their first castle. It was a great thought that his people would soon leave villages, and turn it into towns. "So, enjoying your coming of age party?" Salive asked leaning on a wall looking at her. It'd be weird if she just followed him in complete silence all day.

Oh, Eira was aware that soon enough she'd have to face that crowd again and be spun away to dance into oblivion, but there was something so... calming and refreshing about talking to a person with no apparent intention of asking for her hand. "I won't be too long... just long enough to... clear my head," she smiled lightly, "But who knows, maybe I was the one to kidnap you?" She joked.
She glanced at him as he leaned on the wall, and she held her hands behind her back and wandered aimlessly over the balcony. She folded her arms over the cool railing and looked down to the dimly lit town where the torches flickered like stars. I was so peaceful and beautiful - much unlike her own life, which was fast-paced and messy. Then she glanced back to the man to hear him talk.
She looked sheepish as she slowly shook her head, "Frankly, not entirely." She admitted. "It's a bit much - and men stare at me like I'm a hunk of meat. They don't care about me, they care about the wealth and the royalty that come I just so happen to come with." It was disheartening when she said it and her gaze flickered to the doors. This was her new reality. There wasn't anything she could do to avoid it. It was her destiny.

Salive chuckled at her comment slightly, trying to think of how a female princess could capture the leading commanding officer in the wolfskin army. It'd be quite the funny little gag if it were to even be attempted. His eyes watched the many structures around the castle. They were odd to him, why would you waste resources to make a statue of each king, especially since kings die. He imagined for a second a statue of him next to the statue of Eira's father, and he couldn't help but chuckle again, and shaking his head. It was something he could never see, nor want.
"Ah, well think of it this way. Your mother had lesser options since we races were at war. So she had to choose a boring huma-... Guess I shouldn't call your dad boring." Salive corrected himself looking back to the inside of the castle at the people dancing, or looking for the princess who was wasting her time with a wolfskin. "You get to choose from humans, manakete, and kitsune." He stated leaving out wolfskin since he was the only royalty wolfskin that was without a mate, and he had no intentions on entering the game of wooing the princess.
"In fact, you should take on a manakete." He joked turning to her, and smiling. "You could have a dragon lover, who would attack you humans?" He laughed while Eira marrying a different race was a option it would still cause quite a stir since that would mean the first time another race took the throne, well besides Eira, though it would still be the first time a full blood did. "Anyone interesting yet?" He inquired as he looked at the people with a boring glance.

Eira couldn't help but giggle when Salive corrected himself. She knew she shouldn't, she knew she should be somewhat angry - but he wasn't too wrong. Her father was a quiet man. He carried a drink in his hand and grunted his response to most questions. She'd never had too much to do with him. So it was humorous to her. But he did bring up a good point of finding someone from any race - whilst she was biased and believed a human was best (simply because she was human and that is what she was used to) - marrying someone of another race would create bonds.
She smirked when he joked, "I'd be the most powerful woman in all the worlds with a manakete husband - who would want to fight us?" She held her arms out, gesturing to the town and the castle when she said the word 'us'. When he asked if she had anyone in mind, she visibly cringed. "As of yet," she rubbed her upper arm awkwardly, "no. Though I don't think I will find anyone in that room that I particularly like, I think it's more or less a matter of who I can put up with." She finished with a shrug. From a little girl, she was raised with that prospect. Only, now that it was time to have it be put into play, it was hard to grasp.

(I'mma add like something to happen- This can be the basic plot as.)
Salive nodded, and stretched peacefully looking back at her. "Mating is determined by fate, you'll find someone." He stated it was something his people believed, and well he to believed it. If you were to even find a mate the gods would be the ones to pick them. Even if it seemed like it was someone else. He believed this though he added the even find part, since he didn't wish to get a mate of his own. "Plus to be fair, we wolfskin would still wanna fight you." He laughed being honest the wolfskin, and manakete were the friendliest of the races yet at the same time they fought each other all the time.
After a few moments a man started coming out here looking for Eira, and Salive quickly tuned into a wolf resting himself on the ground trying to play off a simple dog. It was weird to think his wolf form was a pet, though he could play it off. He did this to stop the man from blaming him of doing something to the princess. The man came in, and smiled when he didn't see another with her.
-Random dude-
"Princess Eira, I've been looking for you." The man greeted he was a bigger gentleman, and seemed to be a simple human. "I've been here all day waiting for this moment." He sounded charming at first however when he took out a dagger that changed. "My boss wants to have fun with you!" He chuckled going for Eira, but was cut off quickly by Salive who bit his hand, well Salive did more than that as he tossed the arm off into the bushes, and the man fall down knocked out from blood loss quite quickly after screaming for a bit.
Salive turned into a human wiping the blood from his mouth, and looking at Eira. "Er.... sorry about that." He sighed, and was frozen as people started pooling into to see who was screaming. The guards quickly blamed the winner of the fight surrounding Salive.
"Princess what did this wolfskin do?!" The leader guard asked putting a blade to Salive's neck waiting for her words.
(Aight so what I'm thinking for a basic plot is: A group of assassins are trying to kill the princess, and Salive saves her. Eira's father sees this, and names him a royal guard. Well he offers it, and Salive declines but has to take the role when his chief says to, so they can further the bond between the races. So basically it's romance with assassins. Well thrown in drama with her race as well~)

[ sounds good! i was about to say 'we need something to happen here', but you beat me to it lol ]
Eira tilted her head, mating is defined by fate? She also thought about their vocabulary differences - mating versus partner. Mating sounded so... animalistic. She didn't like it. She was going to reply to him, but was cut off when the door opened and she whipped her attention to the man who walked across to her. He was tall and built with muscle. She took a step back instinctively when he approached. She glanced to Salive, who was now just a dog, and she looked back to the man.
"I just came outside for some fresh air," she smiled pleasantly - politely - but her face fell with confusion. The blade of the dagger flashed in the moonlight, and the start of a gasp left her throat. Her screams joined those of the mans when blood spurted out from his hand, she brought her hands up cover her mouth, though her brown eyes were wide with horror. Being a princess, she'd never been exposed to something like this before. Of course, she'd grown during times of war, but she'd never been a part of it.
She couldn't reply to Salive when he apologised due to the mix of shock in her system and the people who were now stampeding onto the balcony to confront the commotion. The only time words could come out of her mouth was when the knife was to Salive's throat. "N-no! I-it wasn't him!" She lurched forward to the man and grabbed his arm to stop him from using it on Salive's neck. "He saved me, that man-" she pointed to the man in his own pool of blood "- tried to kill me!"

(Maybe the reason they wanna kill her is the leader is the kitsune that's the dad of Eira. He doesn't like half breeds, or something?)
The guards shuffled still pointing their blades at Salive for a good minute after her words, though they shifted to the other man. The leading guard commanded the man to either be brought to the dungeon, or ditch depending on if he was alive still. They then looked at the princess, and sighed back as Salive. "Guess you earned a audience with the king.... The wolfskin chief just arrived as well so you're bound to get awarded." He told Salive who was confused on the fact the chief was here. They lead him into the King's throne room, and told the princess to follow so she could repeat again that the wolfskin was the hero, and the human was the bad guy in that attack.
It took a few minutes before everything was set up for the meeting. The king sat on his throne, guards lined a pathway to the throne, the wolfskin chief stood by the throne. Finally Salive stood in front of the throne with the Princess somewhere nearby.
"Salive of the wolfskin, you saved my daughter from a attacker.... Is that true?" The king asked rubbing his beard a cup of alcohol in his other one. Salive was silent for the longest of times despite not really being accused of anything bad, he was always told to keep silent. It wasn't until the large wolfskin chief gave him a look that Salive spoke. "Yes, the princess had followed me outside for a break.... The man came I switched to wolf form so he didn't yell at me for taking the princess. However when he took out the dagger I ripped off his arm." Salive informed point blanky. The King looked at his daughter.
"You shouldn't have been outside little girl." He sighed before turning back to the wolfskin. "I believe you, simply because my daughter is here now...." The king closed his eyes thinking of a reward when the wolfskin chief spoke up. "Milord enlight of this may I offer Salive as a royal guard?" He offered, and the king stayed silent for a few moments. "Eira, would you like this?" He asked not wanting to force her to be around the strange man. No one asked Salive for his opinion.

[ yeah, that seems like a good enough motive. believes that impurity will make the kitsune become weak or something ]
Eira couldn't say she knew exactly what was going on. She was getting pulled in all directions, people rushing up to ask are you okay? in her ear, others grabbing her hands and thoroughly inspecting her. All the while, she let them and she nodded her head, and she looked to Salive. She figured he would be equally, if not more, confused. Finally, they were in the throne room. Eira stood near the throne, next to her mother and some hand maidens, and she stared with her big brown eyes from her father to her saviour.
She couldn't help but duck her head when her father's somewhat disappointed gaze landed on her, and she sheepishly held her hands at her front. But her eyes rose once more when the wolfkin chief spoke, and they widened at the offer. All eyes turned to her, and her mouth moved for words.
Whilst this man was strong and kind, she wasn't particularly sure he could do anymore than a human guard could. What would be the point of keeping him around? The vision of fangs embedding into the mans bone flashed in her mind, and she bit her lip. He had animal instincts, he was faster and stronger. And she considered that the guards men were also looking at her in ways that made her feel... bare. She'd not had that from Salive, she'd only been offered polite conversation and safety.
Having pondered long enough, she finally looked from her father on the throne to the wolfkin chief. Then her eyes landed on Salive. "If he isn't opposed to the idea, I'd be honoured to have him as my royal guard." She nodded her head firmly, a smile hinting at the corner of her lips.

(Welcome back hope your weekend went well! (^v^))
Salive was silent this entire conversation having nothing to really add to it, it wasn't like if he didn't wanna do it, which he didn't, it mattered. The chief's orders were absolute, and that was obvious by the fact he simply crossed his arms letting them do the rest of the talking. It was the wolfskin chief the first to speak up. "Good, Salive I already bought your stuff. Truth be told I was going to ask his majesty to let you be a normal guard this whole time." The chief laughed, and looked to the King who gave a simple nod. "Very well Salive come forth." The king ordered, and stood up taking his blade. He had to knight the wolfskin if he was to be a royal guard. The process was quite, and informal due to the fact it was light, the king was drunk, and it was a wolfskin.
The next few moments went by quickly as the princess, and Salive were escorted out of the throne room, and told to get back to the party. Well Eira was ordered to go back, Salive was ordered to stay close to his new boss. The chief had already told him where his sleeping quarters would be, and had maids going to it right now to set it up with the few stuff he did own. The chief always had things like this set up, and while it wasn't what he thought would happen fully it still came out on his end very well. This might seem like a cruel way to pawn off Salive, though the chief was just trying to prove the wolfskin wouldn't betray the peace.
Once back in the ballroom Salive looked around, and turned back to the Princess. No one had thought to give the princess a break from the horrors that just happened. Nay the king had invited all these guest, and gosh darn it he wasn't going to let them down. No he ordered the party to go on for the night was still young. Well they did have a small break for Salive to get a new suit befitting a royal guard, and a quite hose down to get rid of any blood on him. Salive looked at the princess finally speaking up for the first time since becoming a knight, and a royal guard. "Well I should let you go da-" He started but the chef touched his shoulder.
"Yes, yes boy let her dance... However I've noticed she'd danced with a manakete, human, and kitsune already. So how about we give the wolfskin some love?" The chef chuckled, and Salive narrowed his eyes. "Oh your going to dance milord? Go ahea-" Salive started, but the chef grabbed Salive's shoulder turning him around and pushing him to the princess. It was quite a comedy gag. "Do take good care of my boy princess." The chef chuckled before disappearing into the crowd of the people. Salive had quickly grabbed the princess to catch himself before colliding with her, and noticing he touched her quickly backed away, and turned his back. "My apologies I didn't mean to touch you, my paws were forced." He sighed.

[ ye ^^' was alright. i'm usually pretty busy, work and homework and housework and socialising. but my bf came 'round and we did a marathon of 'The Office'. 12 hours well spent lmfao ]
Eira watched Salive and almost instantly regretted her choice. He looked no happier to be her guard than she felt at the prospect of needing one! She hesitated when someone grabbed her hand to pull her back to the party, but finally allowed for them to sweep her away like a ragdoll.
Whilst they took Salive away to get him suited and brushed to be a guard, the maids also took her to fix her up. They applied more powder to her face, to cover up those loose freckles over her nose, and they brushed her luscious hair. They made her look fresh, not as if someone had tried to assassinate her an hour before.
All the air whooshed out of her when she was finally placed back in the party. The maids scrambled out of sight, and once again it was her against the world. Except this time... Her brown eyes lifted to Salive, in a suit he looked extraordinary - in both an unusual and pleasant way. She leaned closer to catch what he was saying when he opened his mouth, but stared curiously at the wolfkin chief over Salive's shoulder. She was entirely surprised when all of a sudden a wall of Salive was falling onto her, she gasped and grabbed hold of the fabric over his chest to steady herself. She didn't even notice his hands on her until they were quickly removed.
"I-it's okay!" She quickly assured, stepping around so she could face his front, "there's so many people, I'm not surprised you were pushed into me." She added.
She glanced around to the bodies that spun and danced, keeping in time to the joyous tune that the band played. She stepped closer to Salive when someone pushed up against her back lightly. "Whilst we are in the middle here, we may as well dance?" She smiled and placed one hand on his shoulder, then held her other out for him to hold. "It doesn't mean anything - I guess we will need to get used to each others company if you are going to be my guard."
With the swirling mass of people moving around them, it wasn't like much choice was given if he did not want to dance.

Salive released a sigh of relief upon hearing her words at not caring much about that, and was about to turn to leave when he felt her hands touch him this time. His mind went from a peaceful state back into insane route as he didn't know how to react. He was trying his hardest to keep his cool exterior though it wasn't holding up well. He kind of looked like if you tossed a cat into water without babying it in first. Which was quite funny since he was more of a dog, than a cat if anything though the point still stood.
After a few moments he took her hand, and looked around at the other male's following in their footsteps as best he could. Though he didn't really have rhythm, nor was he at all good at this. "If you say so." He answered her using the tone one would use on a boss, for she was his boss now. Salive was a lot of things, and a loyal servant was one of them. He never disordered an order from the higher ups, and well he considered this an order from his new boss.
Sometimes however he wished he did have the willpower to do such a thing, for example turn down the role of a royal guard. However it was too late now, and come a weeks time he'd have to get used to a bunch of new stuff. Like how to act in a castle, how to talk to higher ups, how to talk to his fellow knights, and all that. He was also sure the other knights wouldn't take to kindly of a wolfskin knight, let alone the personal knight of the princess. He was sure at least one other knight had trained his whole life for this, just for Salive to get the job for killing one person.
As they danced Salive felt his foot almost step on the princess, but he somehow caught himself. Unlike the others who just danced he had to study his foot movements, and the whole time instead of starring at the princess his eyes laid on his own feet, and he was biting his tongue to help focus. "S-s-sorry I'm not good at this kind of stuff." He sighed to the princess though he didn't stop dancing, he'd keep going until she said he was good to stop. "So....uh how do we go about getting to know each other, from dancing?" He questioned legit curious.
