(It's no worry! And currently our people are being chased by Ligyrophobia (noise) and they're cornered in an office building.)

( Ah... okay, that works for me.)
Hanoashi sighed, adjusting the straps on her backpack to make them a bit more comfortable. "Geeze... at this rate I'm going to wear myself out by the time I'm twelve," she muttered sarcastically, knowing full well she was already past that age by at least two years. Her backpack was full of books, about four textbooks, and although she was more than capable of carrying them short distances without issue, carrying them longer than a few city blocks proved to be hard. "Great... now I'm even more lost," she ranted, complacently unaware of the lurking danger.

His voice sent a shiver down Opal's spine. It almost made her forget about the fact that the space was smaller than expected. Almost. She felt her chest tighten in fear, they were cornered with no way out that she could see. At this point, they might as well make a break for it.

Ligyro frowned, as if disappointed. "Only one? I thought there were more!" He continued to prove himself to be clueless when he started slowly advancing toward Peter.
Peter, in response, said to the terrifying hulk, "Are there supposed to be more?" And started to sidestep away, moving away from the cubicle. He was hoping Marella and Opal would make a break for it.
Marella, reading cues like a book, put her hand on Opal's back to prepare her for running.

Opal nodded, knowing that they thought of it as well. Hopefully, they could all get away quickly. Taking a deep breath, she prepared herself to run. As much as she disliked sports, especially running, she was starting to think that this new world was going to require a lot of it.

Peter noticed that he was being backed into a wall, and tried to think of a signal or something to tell the girls to run. But Ligyro's ridiculous voice was giving him a serious headache.
When Ligyro was finally turned away enough, Marella tapped Opal twice and ran for the door to the stairs, hoping Opal would be right behind her.
Peter saw them run, and started after them, but Ligyro reached out a surprisingly long arm and smacked Peter in the face, sending sound waves directly into Peter's mind, causing him to double over in mental pain. He got out one last "go!" before he felt himself black out to the sound of Ligyro's loud laughing.

Opal broke into a run after Marella. Throwing the door open to the stairs, she ran down them, almost tripping, and jumped off the last couple of stairs. She felt bad for leaving Peter, but if they didn't then all three of them would have been caught.

Marella kept telling herself it would be fine, and took a moment to realize she was saying it out loud, repeating "He'll be fine" over and over. She kept running, wanting to put as much distance as possible between her and the horrid laughter.
Ligyro stared down at Peter for a moment, then, satisfied with his work, started walking away, leaving Peter to his headache. Exiting the building, he looked around to see if he could find the two others who had gotten away.

Hanoashi was still totally unaware of Ligyro's presence, as she was still trying to figure out where she was. She glanced at her watch, sighing as she did so, not realizing she was a prime target.

Marella, quickly running out of breath, noticed Hanoashi and started calling to her, "Hey! Run!" hoping that she wouldn't question it and would just do it.
Ligyro heard Marella before he saw he, and when he did, he bellowed in excitement, but didn't run. He just kept walking after them like a very loud colossus.

Hanoashi glanced at Marella quickly before nodding, drooping her bag and taking off. "I really hope there's a good reason for this," she muttered, glancing briefly at her backpack. I'll be back for you my friends, she whispered silently even though the contents where only text books.

Ligyro frowned. He didn't like when people ran, because he didn't like running. He let out one last deep, loud shout before he turned and headed in the opposite direction, towards who-knows-where.
Marella kept running for a moment beside Opal and Hanoashi before realizing that Ligyro had stopped chasing them. Speaking between deep breaths, she said "I.. Don't know what's.. Happening here."

Opal gasped for breath before crashing to the ground, coughing. She was feeling a little light-headed, but she shook it off. "What.. The.. Frick... Was,.. That?" She gasped out, though she knew no one would know the answer. She was about done with this place, and she hasn't even been here long.

Marella finally caught her breath. "I think.. We should find somewhere to hole up. We can't keep using that office building.. And we need to make sure that guy is okay. Should we.. Split up?" She didn't like her own idea, but the night was now in full swing, and she didn't want to be taken surprise by the loud monster-of-a-man again.

Opal nodded. "I- I could go back," she said. She preferred to be alone, and with everything that was happening, some alone time may do her some good. "We could meet back here?"

OOC CHATTER {{ - I have to poof to clean my horribly horribly dirty room. - }}
ROLEPLAY- Nycto was bored now that Liygro was gone and the dreamers along with him. He glanced around the empty office building and at the one on the floor. He let out an annoyed huff and stepped into the shadows, making them longer so that when Peter woke up he would be in almost complete darkness. -

"Go quickly. I don't want any of us to be in any danger.. We'll go search for somewhere to stay." She motioned for Hanoashi to follow her as she headed off to look for somewhere to hide.
Peter opened his eyes.. And then closed them again.. And opened them.. And thoroughly believed he must have died. He wasn't sure, but he thought it was even darker when his eyes were open than when they were closed. But he couldn't be dead.. Because he was thinking. Or worrying, more accurately. He didn't move at all.

ROLEPLAY- Nycto smiled to himself and moved slightly closer, his shadow self stepping on Peter's chest and pressing down. As his shadow self wasn't very influentual, it would just feel like pressure, but nothing too serious. After a few seconds, he stepped back off and kicked a desk harshly, the noise echoing throughout the room. -

Opal nodded. She turned and started heading back the way they had come, her mind reeling and her chest hurting. She walked quickly, still trying to regain her energy, and watched for the office building. She was surprised at how far they had gone, though still close by. Peering up at the building, she took a deep breath and kept an eye out for anything unusual as she made her way inside. Staying as quiet as possible, she started climbing the stairs.

Peter's ears started ringing from the combination of burning headache and deafening silence. When he felt a weight on his chest, he stayed as still as possible, unable to see through the thick darkness. But when the weight lifted and he immediately heard a noise in the room, he bolted upright, surprising himself, and also proving that he was in fact alive. He didn't speak.

ROLEPLAY- Nycto was pouting, unhappy with the lack of going on in relations to his efforts. He stood over close to the wall and let the shadows reced back to how they were before he had gotten involved. His shadowform was still stark against the wall. His eyes were glowing. -

(Sorry about the poof last night, I go to bed real early.)
Hanoashi followed Marella, her face filled with confusion. "Why exactly did we run?" she asked, having no idea what was happening. "I mean," she added slightly nervous, "You did say to run and you must have had a good reason too but still." At least maybe she knows her way around this place, she thought. I certainly hope so.

At that moment, Opal opened the door to the room from the stairs. She stepped into the room, her eyes scanning it. She froze, spotting the shadow on the wall and it's glowing eyes. Unfortunately, she had also seen the boy was sitting up on the floor, so she was torn between running now and helping him.

As Peter's eyes slowly adjusted to the now dimly lit room, he saw Opal, but couldn't recognize her at first. Not knowing that Nycto remained in the room, Peter called out, "Hello? Who is that?"
Marella sighed. "Honestly, I don't know.. I just know we needed to run. I don't know anything else, except that this is not a good place to be out in the open." She started walking, keeping her eye out for somewhere that would be safe. "There was something.. Loud. Someone, maybe? But it was ear-shattering, this guy's voice."

ROLEPLAY- Nycto was bored with this, and the situation derivered from it. It as clear that nether of these dreamers truely feared him and he was only wasting his time trying to scare them. Sure, it had been good for a quick laugh but Nycto was dying for a good screamer. He waited another moment before shooting and leaving the block through the opened doors, prowling down the streets, looking for someone else to scare. -

Opal shook her head. The thing was gone. "I'm... Uh.. One of the girls that you helped," she told him, realizing that they never introduced themselves. She walked over to him. "Are you okay? We kinda need to leave." She definitely didn't want to be in here longer than needed.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm.." Peter paused when he stood up, his head throbbing. "I'm good. My name's Peter. Where do we go? Where's the other girl?" He wasn't panicking, but he was certainly worried that something had happened.
