yooooooo so I'm looking to get back into rp. done a lot of fanfiction in the past couple years, so im not outta touch with writing/my fandoms
main interests:
-Death Note
-K Project (anime)
-Gravity Falls
I really enjoy horror/adventure/dark type plots, but not overloaded with plot to the detriment of character development. definitely open to sandbox style setups of any genre with OCs.
preferences: -would prefer to rp with someone else who is 18+. -i prefer male characters but will play any gender -passable grammar IC; longer turns -thats abt all i can think of rn
i hope i didnt mess anything up here... i THINK i remembered all the requisite rp conventions lol

dude yeah im down!!
id love to have a couple of characters who are totally against investigating the paranatural on its own terms either being forced to do just that or being forced to come up with ever more radically nonparanatural methods of dealing with the ~weird occurrences~
what settings would you be interested in? time, place, types/origins of the supernatural problem(s)?

duuuuude yes and yES, im from georgia, and can seriously get behind that aesthetic lol.
i think we should leave several different types of things open -- human-caused occurrences: things like ghosts, that would occur with an unconscious integration of human and supernatural elements, as well as things like curses/malicious witchcraft, that would occur with conscious human involvement in supernatural stuff. various rural legends (like haunted musical instruments -- ever hear the song "the wind and rain"? it's about a fiddle whose bow is strung with a dead girl's hair) could fall into either. -- cryptids: the altamaha lake monster comes to mind! these are a little more topical to region etc., but can also be fun to write about. sentient/intelligent cryptid-type creatures, like werewolves or shapeshifters, would be really cool to explore, especially in an urban context. -- unknowns: haunted bridges definitely fall into this category. no one really knows HOW they're haunted, but weird stuff tends to happen there (sometimes ghost manifestations, putting them in the first category, but sometimes other stuff, like a bridge being a gate to an unknown dimension).
these are really just the categories ive got on the top of my head, feel free to add/tweak.... personally i'd like the main plot to focus on the synthesis of the first and third categories, with one or more cursed/haunted items tying into an overall "unknown," like an interdimensional gate, which would be a kinda eventual plot acme, and the second category would play into the story (e.g., shapeshifter characters) but not be crucial to the main plot. ofc this is totally up for amendment; what do you think?
