For example, seeing Squirrelflight as black or Breezepelt being a she-cat.
I see Shellheart as light brown, and Reedwhisker as dark brown. I also like to think Twigpaw is a tom. Heatherstar is more light gray-ish, Morningflower is a light golden.
i also think cloudtail is just this fluffy ball of fluff

I used to think of Squirrelflight as light ginger, Leafpool as ginger and black and white tabby. I also see Shellheart as a she-cat, and used to see Bluestar as a tom.

I always thought Blackstar would have been as evil as Tigerstar and Brokenstar, luckily I was proven wrong!
Also, I keep thinking Rowanstar's a She-cat again only to remember that he is indeed a tom right now XD

The biggest difference I have is I still see Mapleshade as ginger-and-white, even though she was confirmed as calico.
Other than that I only have minor differences, like Tigerheart being a black-and-brown tabby, Bluestar being dark blue-gray and Stormfur and Mistyfoot both being identical to her, and Leafpool being sort of a golden-brown tabby instead of a light brown one. Things like that.

For some reason I always think of Mousefur as a brown colorpoint instead of a dark brown tabby

I always thought of Dovewing as a gray cat. Ivypool white.
I've always thought of Redtail as a dark red. Like he was spray painted red.

Blackstar has always been a white Siamese cat with black points to me.

I always thought Reedwhisker was a reddish brown and Dovewing as white like her mother.

It took me a while to see Blackstar as a white cat instead of a black one. And for some reason the name Twigpaw makes me think of a tom too. I wonder if I'll have this problem whilst reading TAS...
I always pictured Sandstorm as Nala. Idk why but I still do.
I imagine Leafpool with blue or sometimes green eyes but never amber. And I picture Tallstar as my late cat who was also a tuxedo cat. Scar on nose and all.

I always thought Redtail was a white cat with a red tail rather than a tortoiseshell.

I always thought Redtail was a white cat with a red tail rather than a tortoiseshell. Like a Turkish V an? That would actually be really cool.

I imagined Princess as a pure white long furred she-cat too. Weird...I guess it's because of Cloudtail.
I also imagined Moth Flight as a golden or light orange color.

I've always thought that Brokenstar looked just like Tigerstar, for some odd reason.
I've always seen Brick as a female.
I used to imagine Snowfur with green or yellow eyes. Maybe because of Moonflower's golden eyes?
I've always thought that Twigpaw was a tomcat, but it turns out I was wrong. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I imagined Firestar as a solid very dark red tom or reddish brown with a fire-colored fur. Squirrelflight exactly like in cats of the clans just a bit more thick-furred, but not long-haired. Bluestar as a slender pale blue gray or silver she-cat with short fur instead of long-haired and broad-shouldered. Mapleshade is always a ginger-and-white she-cat to me. And i imagine Whitewing as long-haired and Graystripe short-furred.

I always thought/pictured these cats as: Leafpool looked like Spottedleaf (tortoiseshell-white with dappled marks in her fur) rather than a light brown tabby
Littlecloud being all white, with yellow eyes
Pinestar being a dark brown tabby
Yellowfang being yellow or gold

Who can blame anybody for thinking Yellowfang was yellow? Any person who knows about cats would know she couldn't have been named for the color of her eyes so it had to be her fur.

I think she was named after poor dental hygiene... lol Brightflower: Hmmmmm, three kits. Oh~ One can be Nutkit, the other can be Rowankit and....hmmm *pokes final kit* AH! She might have terrible dental hygeine in the future so I'm pre-emptively naming this gray kit Yellowkit!
