He has dark brown hair and blue eyes, and a scar from just below his left eye to the bottom of his cheek. He wears a set of steel armor embedded with diamond, and a ruby studded belt. His shield is magically warded to prevent bodily harm. Elwrin's blade is a orangish red blade known as Thrysta. The blade has a ruby in its pommel. when it's name is stated, it can fire balls of compressed air, as thrysta means compress in the ancient language. || Elwrin is smart, brave, and loyal, though he does have a somewhat twisted sense of humor. || Elwrin is capable of casting a variety of spells and has a vast knowledge of the ancient language. || Firestar2424||
Logondi || Male|| 1 year of age|| Logondi is an orangish red dragon with matching eye color and an unusually large wingspan. || Logondi is intelligent, courageous and loyal. He shares Elwrin's sense of humor and is quite aggressive, though it's typical in dragons. || Due to Logondi's longer wingspan, he is able to carry more weight while flying than other dragons his size. || Firestar2424||

Autumn Skylar|| female|| 16 years of age||Autumn is a tall, lithe girl with flame orange hair. She wears a white t-shirt with a black dragon shape on it. The shoulder is ripped in a claw shape from when she first met Ursakandus. She has long, camo-type pants on. A small hunting knife with a diamond in the pommel is hidden up her sleeve. It is called Ringer, only because it can echo out the screams of it's victims when they died. ||Autumn is sensible and wise, but tends to joke around a lot, sometimes incapacitating herself useless with laughter. ||Autumn has an older dragon than Elwrin, but with no proper training she has a small amount of knowledge of the Ancient Language. Her main skills are her deadly accuracy with her knife and being able to ride Ursakandus. She was formerly a slave. || Thunderfire||
Ursakandus || Male|| 3 years of age||Ursakandus is a flame coloured dragon with one blue forepaw and some cream patches on his face. He has unusually long talons and his legs have scars from when he was once chained up.|| Ursakandus is patient and clam but is very overprotective of Autumn. He is always very wary after being chained up. || Ursakandus was chained up when Autumn was a slave. He had just hatched and was locked up for a year before the two could escape. Autumn is the only human he fully trusts. || Thunderfire||

(Just so you know, there's the usual elves, dwarves, and humans, as well as a race called urgals whom enjoy war and are quite honestly the most brutal of all races. also, dragons are only able to speak through mental links. Riders, dragons, and most magicians and elves can make these mental connections. Elves are immortal in the sense of aging, and so are riders and dragons. dwarves are not so, but do live considerably longer than humans. also, magic is conducted through the ancient language. It is also impossible to lie in the ancient language, though you can stretch the truth if you say one thing and mean something else.)
Elwrin felt the cool wind blow through his hair as he and Logondi circled above the city of new Vroengard, the city of the riders. Below, large stone buildings were visible, along with many large trees clustered together near the center of the city. A large stretch of grass which was the training grounds could be seen just outside the stone walls that separated the city from the rest of the island that it resided upon. Logondi folded his massive wings and dived down towards the training field. Just moments before they hit the ground, Logondi threw open his wings so that the two swooped upward again. Now much closer to the ground, Logondi evened out and gently glided just over the field before giving a few flaps of his wings, which slowed their forward movement and allowed the dragon to land. Elwrin leaped off and landed neatly on his feet before turning back to Logondi. I'll meet you back here two hours before dusk. Elwrin said.
Very well. The dragon replied. For now, I must hunt. Hunger besieges me and now would be as good a time as any for me to find something to eat.

Hunger besieges me and now would be as good a time as any for me to find something to eat.((I read about half of Eragon, then got bored of the repetitiveness. The magical stuff was interesting, but after a few battles, I was bored.)) Autumn's eyes narrowed as she circled the herd of deer. Nothing mattered but this hunt. She didn't know where in the kingdom she was exactly, but she had learnt to navigate these woods, though she had never found the path from which she had came into the forest. Are you in your place, Ursakandus? She said. After being unable to visit her dragon much when she had been a slave, she had learnt to mentally converse with him over long distances, but this was definitely breaching the length of their communication. Of course, came the irratable reply. As I have been for half an hour.I needed to make sure the deer where well-settled, replied Autumn angrily. You know they would have fled if our scents had not have been here before they arrived.Well, hurry up, snapped Ursakandus. Autumn let a small smile light up her features. Her dragon had always been impatient. Alright, she replied. You can do it now. A loud roar split the forest, followed by flames shooting into the sky. The grazing herd's heads lifted all at once and terror shone in their eyes. Fleeing from the source of the sound, they bounded straight toward Autumn. She unsheathed her knife, Ringer, and willed it to be silent. As the deer approached, she leapt onto a young buck and drove the knife through it's neck, hitting the exact point needed to kill her prey. She moved over to an older doe, stabbing that one too. The stampeding herd rumbled past, but Autumn ignored them. She had more than enough food for herself, and if Ursakandus was still hungry, he could hunt for himself. Got two, she said. Good. I'm starving.

(It gets really good, though. The dwarves are a bit strange and then the elves are all obsessed with nature. When riders go to the elven city of Ellesmara, They usually don't eat meat when they come back because they are trained to open their minds to pretty much everything, animals, plants, people, whatever. From observing the world from an animal's eyes, most riders feel guilty or as if by killing an animal, they are killing an intelligent creature. dragons don't really care because eating meat is really the only way they can sustain themselves.)
With a strong flap of his powerful wings, Logondi surged himself upward and flew off towards the distant trees. The dragon's reddish orange scales glimmered brilliantly in the midday sky like polished gemstones. Elwrin watched until the dragon was little more than a smudge upon the horizon before walking towards a small group of people crowded around two men sparring. One was a tall, thin man with dirty blonde hair and the other was a short, muscular man with brown hair. The shorter man was equipped with a long claymore while the other wielded a rapier and a large shield. The two fought well, parrying blows and swiftly avoiding flurries of attacks. All was faring well until the shorter man slipped on a patch of loose soil and fell to the ground. The taller man tapped his opponent on the neck with his rapier. "Dead." The shorter man stood up and brushed off his tunic before retreating into the crowd. "any more challengers?" The victor asked. Elwrin stepped up.
"Yes there is." He said with a grin. Elwrin drew his sword and said, "Gëuloth du knífr." A thin film of reddish orange developed over the blade. His opponent did the same. When they were both ready, Elwrin charged forward and aimed a strike for the man's neck. The man pulled his shield up and blocked the blade with a loud clang. The recoil send Elwrin backwards a few steps and by the time he had recovered, his opponent's blade was already swinging towards his head. Elwrin quickly ducked then thrusted his blade at the man's legs, smiling with satisfaction as his sword made contact. The man let out a shout of pain and scrambled backward, taking a moment to rub his sore calf. After a few seconds, they resumed combat. Elwrin once again rushed at the man with an overhead strike, but the man easily sidestepped Elwrin's blade and countered by knocking Elwrin back with his shield. Elwrin stumbled a bit but was able to avoid an oncoming blade. Scrambling back to his feet, elwrin was able to get into a more proper stance before another volley of attacks were launched. As his opponent tried to thrust his blade at Elwrin's chest, the rider leaned back and dodged the rapier. As the blonde haired man brought his blade back, Elwrin dropped down and swept the man's legs out from under him. The man landed hard on the ground, but before he could recover, Elwrin held his blade over him, then reached down to help the man up.
"Well fought." The man said with a nod as he took Elwrin's hand and pulled himself up off the ground. "With swordsmanship like that, I hope I don't ever have to face you in battle."
Elwrin slipped off a glove and showed his gedwëy ignasia. "If you met me in a battle, I think you'd have more to worry about than my sword." He joked.
"A rider!" The man exclaimed. "It's an honor to have sparred with you, Argetlam." With a bow, the man turned and merged with the crowd of of people. Elwrin also left and headed toward the city gates, his stomach rumbling.
Logondi, I think I'm going to find something to eat.
alright. I may return sooner than expected. I found a few deer almost as soon as I left.
Okay. Be safe. I guess I'll find you once I get something to eat. Then maybe we can go flying for a while.

She sat cooking the leg of one over a fire. I am always grateful to these deer, said Autumn. Yeah, agreed Ursakandus. They're always so tasty! You know that isn't what I meant, Autumn said, ignoring the rumble of amusement that followed. It's what I meant, said Ursakandus. Autumn rolled her eyes and looked at the meat. Autumn quickly pulled it of the fire. She glared at Ursakandus angrily. Wonderful, she hissed. You made me burn it.Of course, replied Ursakandus. It's what I aim to do.You annoy the heck out of me, you know that, right? said Autumn. I love you too, replied Ursakandus. Autumn went to take a bite of the deer, then stopped as she heard wingbeats. Okay, Ursakandus, she said with a sigh. You don't have to fly off on me.But I'm still right here, came the reply. She looked back at the spot where she had last seen Ursakandus, and he was still there. Then what was that? she asked. Another dragon?
Ursakandus inclined his head. Yes.((As soon as you said Logondi found deer straight away, I thought, Hey, he found the deer Autumn and Ursakandus scared. Now maybe they can hear his wingbeats from where they are. Hope that's okay with you.))

(That's kind of what I was aiming for, so yes. That's perfect.)
Elwrin walked through the city gates, nodding at the guards as he entered. He made his way to the markets, where many shops and stores were set up. He entered a tavern known as 'The Dragon's tongue.' Behind the counter stood a grizzly old man polishing a glass mug. When Elwrin walked through the door, the man set the mug down and asked, "What can I do for ya?"
Elwrin walked up to the counter. "Just looking for some food and maybe a bit of mead."
"Well, I've got just that." The man said with a grin. He pulled out a loaf of bread. "Three crowns." He said as he filled up a mug.
Elwrin opened a small pouch and pulled out five gold coins. "Keep the change." He took the bread and the cup of mead and sat down at a rough wooden table and ate the bread in quick, rapid bites, taking sips of his mead in between. After he was finished, he stood up and walked out into the street.
Logondi, Where are you?
I'm south of New Vroengard.
How long will it take you to get back?
Maybe five minutes. Ten at the maximum.
Alright. I'll wait for you at the front gates.
On my way.

That dragon might not be friendly!Well, I'm going, replied Ursakandus cheekily. She heard the flap of his wings as he lifted into the air. A couple of second later, she felt a breeze buffet her. Claws grasped her shirt and lifted her up. Ursakandus! Put me down! she protested. Not a chance, replied the dragon, flying in the direction of the wingbeats. Autumn managed to grab onto her dragon's leg and climbed up onto his back. Before long, they spotted a dragon flying in a direction. Follow it. Autumn didn't think before she said this, and her dragon didn't question it.

Elwrin hurried outside the city gates, having to weave through the crowd of people in the streets. He sat in wait of Logondi, whom he could just see on the horizon, a speck of red in the cloudless blue sky. He reached out with his mind, sifting through all the living things in the immediate proximity, feeling the different consciences of of even the smallest of bugs and plants. He withdrew as Logondi neared. Looking up though, he spotted what looked like another dragon. He reached his mind out to Logondi. Logondi, is that another dragon trailing you?
The dragon remained silent for a moment, then said, Yes. I believe it is another dragon. It appears it has a rider, as well, so it's definitely not wild. I'd rather not engage them until I get back to you. If we're near the city, we'll have dragons and riders to back us up.
Agreed. Hurry back before something happens. If they attack, I'll try to place some wards on you, but I don't know how long I can sustain them from a long distance, so try not to get into any trouble.

The dragon hit the ground with a thump, jolting Autumn from his back. She glared at him. Thanks a lot, dragon, she spat. I try my best, he replied in amusment. At least I blend in, Autumn shot back. At least I can breathe fire, said Ursakandus. Autumn shook her head. Come on. Let's follow that dragon.I thought we could stop and have a nap first, said Ursakandus sarcastically. Autumn stared him down. Enough. Let's go.
