So I'd love to do a historical rp - I'm open to any time period. I'm also willing to do musical-based plots like a Les Mis or Hamilton inspired plot.
I'm looking for someone with reasonable grammar and who is willing to do at least a few paragraphs of roleplaying. I tend to match replies so I can do anything from a few paragraphs to a couple thousand words. I also would like people to have even a rudimentary understanding of the time period they want to do.
If you're interested just PM me x

Aww, thanks Semper. And I'm sorry I never replied to our older RP, I lost my inspiration and when I went to reply, I couldn't find it Well in light of recent events, I can't stop myself from asking if you'd be willing to do a Newsies musical plot? xD }}

(Don't worry about the old plot, I totally understand. As for the newsies thing, sure! I know the plot, even if I'm not as familiar with it as I'd like to be. What kind of thing were you thinking for a plot?)

[ ahhh, so I saw Hamilton and had to roll my way in xD Haven't watched the musical, but have definitely been listening to the sound track and stuff. So I'm kinda interested, if you'd like to elaborate on a plot idea c: ],

Oh cool! Well for Hamilton I've usually either done one thing based off Hamilton's relationship with Eliza (revolutionary x rich person) or something based VERY loosely on Burr's relationship with Theodosia (revolutionary x British officer's child) with the daughter of a British officer instead of the wife of one)

im honestly okay with either, both are really interesting concepts to possibly roleplay c:

(Okay well I know that both work. The first can be really quite relaxed I think whereas the second has the potential to be much more actiony and dangerous. So I guess it depends on whether you want the plot to be quite chill and (I guess) fluffy or whether you want it to be a little more high-stakes.)

hm, hm. I haven't really done an actiony kinda plot in a while But then again I love fluff Oh gosh this is such a hard decision

(Okay, only if you're sure. We don't have to do forms, we can describe through rp. Do you know which charrie you want? I don't mind, I have ideas for either)

I was thinking one could be the leader of the strike and the other be the person they need to help rally others to join them? Like a Spot Colon figure of sorts?}}

A young woman was leaning against a wall, watching the sunrise, admiring the beautiful tones of pink and gold. She was in New York, and she was at the market. It hadn't opened yet, people were still opening shops, but people would be flooding in very soon.
Ava Moore was tall and slim, with long dark hair striking against her extremely pale skin (a dead giveaway that she was British) and light blue eyes.
She'd come to America a little while ago, but she hadn't been allowed out enough to tan. Her father, a British officer, didn't feel that she was safe with the revolutionaries around. But her father had gone away for a couple of days to discuss battle plans and Ava was left to her own devices. Which meant going out and actually talking to people.

Nicholas was a young man, dark skinned with brilliant hazel colored eyes, making his way silently down the street of New York, looking for a specific shop. He was alone, but it seemed that he was quite well known as a few shop keepers nodded and greeted him. He was currently a Continental Army officer, which he was more than thankful for the title, but the thought of war still never sat easily with him.
Nick, as many knew it, was an orphan. His parents had both died from a disease of the sorts that had been going around. Nick had pushed himself to graduate as a politician from college, succeeding, which gained him the popularity he had at the moment. But, his title in the army only helped.
Stopping in front of the store, he noticed a young women watching the sunrise. He paused. Should such a lady really be out at such a time? Nicholas stepped closer. "'Morning, madam. I inquire that you are waiting for the shops to open up as well?" He asked, trying his hardest to seem like a gentlemen, even if he already was seen to be as such.
[ I apologize in advanced if this is really bad xc ]

(Don't worry, it's fine)
Ava looked up to see a young man, and he appeared to be addressing her. He looked like a revolutionary, but Ava could not be sure whether or not he was.
So in response she did a polite dip of the head and a very slight curtsey, as was appropriate in public but informal settings, and responded "Indeed I am, sir. I find it rather pleasant to watch the market open on a morning"
She knew she still had an accent that wasn't even close to starting to fade out, and that it had probably given her away as a British girl already.
Realising she hadn't introduced herself, she said "Oh, where are my manners. My name is Ava Moore"
