The wind whipped at your fur as you trotted through the forest, and you stopped a minute to think. Wait a second, why is it so windy? Blinking, you whipped around. A gust of wind had hit you from behind, and it seemed to whisper, "intruder," your ears stretched back in fear, and you backed up.
"Come out, whoever you are!" You growled, taking another step back. Prying open your wind-shut eyes, you saw a white wolf appear out of thin air. "What..? How?" You muttered, shaking your head violently as if it was an illusion. "How did you..?" You trailed off, and the white wolf spoke, "lupus magickus. The wolf's magic." She said. The white wolf's body leaned to the right, and the wind turned her invisible. Looking around you, you said, "what? Lupus magickus?" The white wolf appeared again out of thin air in front of you. "The magic that the GhostPack holds in our paws." Her expression stayed blank the whole time she spoke. "From puphood onto adulthood, we learn about this magic. At eight months, we begin to learn from older, more experienced wolves," she explained. "You can learn more about lupus magickus if you join my GhostPack. I am Fantasma, which means ghost. I am the leader of the GhostPack. You have one chance to join. Will you?"
Fantasma asked it herself. Will you join the GhostPack?

[In order from high to low starting at the top.]
Monarch
The Monarch(s) of the pack is/are the leader. He/she/they is/are the main one(s) in control and set the laws of his/her/their pack. They are not required to hunt with the pack, but most normally do. They demand respect and are in the position to exile, banish, or even kill those who do not show it. Though it is rare, this position can be challenged and if the challenger wins the fight than the challenger, being the new Monarch, can do what he/she pleases with the previous Monarch. This does not normally happen because it would result in a huge change within the pack. Monarchs also send out scouts when and ONLY there are intruders on the territory, so they can scout ahead and see what's up. By winter, the Monarch must have a mate and pups by spring. If they do not have pups by spring, it is unusual and the elders usually talk about them all the time.
Viceroy
The Viceroy(s) is/are the Monarchs' son(s). There can be multiple at a time, similar to princes, and usually when the male Monarch dies, is exiled, or leaves the pack, [all except dying is rare] the/a Viceroy(s) becomes the new male Monarch. If there are multiple Viceroys, if there is one older than all the others, he becomes the new male Monarch. If there is multiple and some are the same age while the others are younger, the current female Monarch picks the new male Monarch. A Viceroy does usually hunt with the pack just like his parents, but is not required to. A Viceroy must gain respect from all ranks except the Monarchs, the Elders, and the Viceras.
Vicera
The Vicera(s) is/are the Monarchs' daughter(s). There can be multiple at a time, similar to princesses, and usually when the female Monarch dies, is exiled, or leaves the pack, [all except dying is rare] the/a Vicera(s) becomes the new female Monarch. If there is multiple Viceras, if there is one older than all the others, she becomes the new female Monarch. If there is multiple and some are the same age while the others are younger, the current male Monarch picks the new female Monarch. A Vicera does usually hunt with the pack just like her parents, but is not required to. A Vicera must gain respect from all ranks except the Monarchs, the Elders, and the Viceroys.
Healers
Healers must remember every herb, and are talented in helping their packmates. They do not participate in fighting, but still have to learn to fight for defense. They do however participate in hunting, and there is usually only two healers in the pack; the healer and its pupil, the pup it's training.
Beta
The Beta(s) is/are the second in command and enforce the law when the current Monarch(s) is/are not present. This position cannot be challenged without the Monarch's(s') approval. There can be multiple Betas at a time, but only two, and this is when the current Beta chooses a mate. Betas also arrange the hunting parties to go out and hunt.
Elders
The elders of the pack are seven years and older in wolf years [not months]. They are filled with wisdom and renowned strength. They are the ones that the Monarchs normally go to for advice. They are respected as much as the Monarchs by the entire pack.
Scouts
The amount of scouts depends on the size of the pack. For a small pack there can be up to 5 and for a much larger pack there can be up 15. They are the guardians and protectors of the pack. The scouts will roam the pack lands ensuring it's safety. They are the ones that will keep watch at night. The scouts must be quick to think and remain calm in any given situation.
Attackers
Attackers pretty much explain themselves. Again, depending on the size of the pack depends on the size of attackers. There is usually more, however, since they must have reinforcements. On command, they attack intruders. Although every member of the pack fights, attackers are just more skilled.
Hunters
Like the scouts the amount of hunters depend on the size of the pack. Every member of the pack hunts, but these are the main hunters.
Pup Watchers
These are the pup-sitters of the pack. They will keep watch over a mother's pups when the others may be out hunting or at battle. Don't be fooled into thinking that they are weak and soft. On the contrary the pup watchers can be the most vicious members of the pack, as long as you don't mess with the pups they're pup-sitting. They only watch pups up until the age of eight months, when the pups start their magickus and rank training. There is only up to about three pup watchers in a pack regardless of the size.
Pupils
The pupils are the pups who have reached eight months. If they are more experienced pupils, they could be a different age. Pupils pick a rank that they want to be and a wolf of that rank must teach them how to do things of that rank. Their mentor must also teach them how to use lupus magickus.
Pups
This rank is self explanatory. They are usually understood, and do not show respect to any wolf unless they have gotten into trouble. [Besides the Viceroy and Vicera pups].
Omegas
The omegas are the lowest of low in the pack, lower than the pups. Don't be surprised if they don't receive much respect if any at all. They are only placed in this position if they've done anything to disrespect the Monarch(s). Sometimes a new member may be placed with this rank if a Monarch is a bit mistrustful of them. They must show respect for every single member, even the pups, even if they're older than the pups.
Viceroy
The Monarch(s)
Monarch Fantasma | Fantasma | ♀
Fantasma is a pure arctic wolf, born in the depths of Alaska. She has broad shoulders, white nails, and a white pelt. Her pelt is constantly being competed for with the hunters, and all of the hunters desperately want her beautiful white and greyish coat. Although she does have broad shoulders, Fantasma does not have broad muscles, and is not very strong. In the heat of battle, she mostly dodges, and takes a few swipes at the attacker while dodging. Fantasma is very swift, and is better at catching up to prey and predators instead of fighting. Her eyes are a dark amber, and stand out to her white coat. | Fantasma is very mysterious and nice on the outside, but really she is scared inside all the time because of her past. She has a secret fear of humans, and tries to act calm and collected when one shows up. Fantasma tries her best to lead her pack, and tries to hide her disability of hearing loss, and cannot hear a wolf unless they're howling very loud, or they're speaking in front of her face. She thinks she is very useless because of this, and hates when wolves yell for her name, because she can't hear them. | As a pup, Fantasma was abandoned by her dad who left her and her siblings, while her mother died giving birth. She was eventually found by a human, and was kept in a house for about a year and developed hearing loss thanks to the human listening to loud music that hurt her ears. She was later shipped somewhere else in the world and escaped the humans, fleeing into the forest. Fantasma was then found and raised by a bear, who later died and Fantasma had to take care of herself for the rest of her life. Then she built up a pack, and here she is now.

Falcon is very large, bulky grey wolf. He's very muscular, with a very intense face. He has the average wolf coat, but it's colored brown instead. Falcon also has dark Amber eyes with darker brown flecks in them. Falcon also has very large ears to top it all off| falcon is known as a powerful wolf. He's saved countless lives during his time on earth. He's very intimidating, but on the inside he's very caring and fatherly. He believes in spirits, and the afterlife, and he respects it. He's very fair, and looked up to. He does also have a slight sense of humor, but he doesn't like to take it out much. He cares for his pack, and his sister, Hawk. He wants to let them know how much he cares for them by being the best he can be and knowing just what to do. But, in truth, he can't do this no matter how hard he tries. He has to understand this no matter how hard he tries to ignore this and defy reality. The Attackers
Attacker Briar | Briar | ♂
Briar has a very muscular build, and he is very strong. Briar is a bit rusty at running swiftly, but can run for a long time. He is said to have once killed a deer in two bites, thanks to his muscles. Not all believe this is true, however. Briar can run a very long time, as mentioned before as well. He has rusty red colored fur with some greyish highlights and a grey face and back. He is sometimes mistaken-ed as a red wolf, but isn't hunted as much as Fantasma. Briar has luscious forest green eyes as well. | Briar is a sweet wolf, and he wants to be a bragger but only brags in his thoughts, as he knows it would hurt the wolves around him. He also doesn't want to be hated by bragging, and Briar, although he is one of the most sportiest in the pack, is shy on the inside and gets angry easily thanks to his bipolar issue. He has learned to control it sometimes, however. | Unknown

Striker| Fighter |female
Striker is short, and bulky young female. She is from a long line of wolves that have lived in various packs around the area, so her true breed is both vague and mixed. She has a white, fluffy underbelly face, and tail tip. Her other fur tones are a very dark, chocolate brown, light grey, and black. These fur tones cover her back, tail, and the bottom of her legs, her forehead and the area around her eyes are also decorated with jet black fur. Striker has a very, very dark brown color that give the illusion that her irises are just plain black, with no pupils what's so ever. Striker is a very powerful she wolf, especially for her age. Her short stubby legs can move surprisingly fast, and she has learned to use her weight to her advantage for various blows when fighting against threats.| Striker has a very tough and angry personality. She has a short temper, and is very stubborn. She thinks she's the toughest wolf to ever live, and constantly is working on fighting and getting stronger. This may seem like a good aspect for a pack member to have, but I defiantly has major downfalls as well. She constantly over estimates herself, and this is a major set back which causes both stress on the pack, and on Striker herself. Striker also has a short fuse, and is very impatient. She also has a hard time opening up to other wolves, as show them the other side of her. Some wolves may call her a menace, but really she just doesn't know how to let her guard down.| when Stricker was a pup, she lived and grew up in another pack that was harsh, and somewhat unforgiving. This is probably where she inhabited her tough act, because back in her old pack you would get a beat down if you showed weakness. Stricker lived with her mother, and older brother, grey. Striker was lucky for her fighting equipt genes, and build, so with proper training she became a success in that pack. But her brother on the other hand, wasn't what you would call Tough. He was the lack runt, and was given many beat downs because of this. So, to save both her and her brother, they snuck out one night with their older sister, Nani, who at the time was pregnant with three pups! Luckily, as days of traveling past on they eventually found themselves living in Ghostpack.

Hawk| attacker and/or hunter| female
Hawk is a lean, yet large she wolf. She has a long coat with fur tones stretching from white, all the way to black throughout her body. Her markings make her looks both tough, yet wise and loving at the same time. She has ice blue eyes with dark brown flecks in them. She's very muscular as well.| Hawk is a very powerful, yet calm she wolf. She loves to have a sense of responsibility and leadership in her daily life, which she sometimes can't get which can get in the way sometimes. She looks out for her pack, especially her older brother, Falcon. She does cooperate well while being given orders and is determined to presume them, no matter how bad she messes up. When you get her mind on something there's no going back| she has roots from the middle of Alaska, they moved to ghost pack with their mother when they were just pups|
Falcon (brother), parents (deceased)| none yet| grey wolf| 3.5 years
Hunters
Fallenleaves| Hunter/soon to be mother| female
Fallenleaves is a muscular, yet slim, beautiful young red wolf. With dark Amber eyes. The she wolf originally came from Yellowstone National park in Wyoming. There, wolves are on the endangered list. But, here the red wolf is hunted just as much as any other wolf. Fallenleaves has a the average coat of a red wolf, but just in a lighter shade . Her stomach and face is light cream color, while her upper side is a variety of browns and oranges. Her coat is also thicker than most red wolves from Yellowstone. | Fallenleaves is a wolf with an attitude. She has both a short temper, a strong sense of curiosity, and is very stubborn, which can get her into trouble from time to time. But her better traits like charm, and never ending confidence. Fallenleaves lacks most traits she should be having, especially sense she's expecting to be a mother of what's expected to be a litter of five so soon. But, she'll get help from others, and pick up a few things as she goes.| Fallenleaves grew up as a true Yellowstone wolf. She was named by a code which humans tracked her by (Fe592). She was part of a small pack consisting mainly of family. Fallenleaves was next in line for alpha of the pack, she was looking forward to leading her pack into strength and glory. But, one day as her and her pack were hunting, they stumbled pin a farmer's land and caught a mother and calf. They should have been more aware, as gunshot began to ring out and her pack was slowly picked off. Only her, and her mate, Stone were left alive. They fled as dad as they could, and eventually managed to join ghostpack. Later, she and her mate discovered they were expecting pups! But these good news were followed by tragedy as her mate was shot down my a local Hunter, leaving her and her soon-to-be newborn pups alone.

Pup Watchers/Mothers
Nani| pup watcher/mother| female
Nani has a very thick, wool like coat. Her fur normally clumps together in spikes because of this. Nani is sleek wolf, despite her coat adding a few extra inches of thickness to her body. Nani looks quite intimidating seeing her size, and sharp eyes. Her ancestors come from various breeds and packs from years before. She has a dark brown coat on the top of her body. The underpart of her body is a creamy brown color with specks of light grey outlining the darker spots of her fur. Only the area around her eyes are shaded light grey, and white. Nani is the perfect mix of both of her younger siblings. Nani has long legs like grey, but a broad and lean body like Striker to match them. Nani’s sculpt is complete with dark, dark chocolate brown eyes that almost look black in a darker lighting.| Nani’s appearance makes her look a bit intimidating, and unforgiving. But she's quite the opposite. She's the calmest, most motherly wolf you would ever meet. Unlike Fallenleaves, Nani is very motherly and matches every trait an ideal mother should have. She will take Fallenleaves’s pups when they are born so Fallenleaves can get back to her work to support the pack. Nani is to calm. She normally holds in her feelings much like Grey. Because of this many problems end up weighing on her shoulders for weeks even after the problem is solved.| in her old pack she had a pretty terrible life. She was abused by her mate, and hated by most other wolves in the pack. She seemed to be one of the only positive ones in the pack. So, she moved and took her soon to be pups with her, and her siblings.

Pups
Shard| pup|male
Even for his age, Shard can already be defined as bulky, yet sleek at the same time. He's like a little tootsie roll! **Ahem** Anyway! he has a shaggy coat that mainly consists of an ashy black, a light grey, light tan, and dark brown highlights. His eyes are a fiery orange with red rims. He is a mixed breed like his mother, but he looks more like a grey wolf than any other breed.| Shard is exactly like any other pup, or human child. He's playful, curious, stubborn, and of course he thinks that he's the smartest little pup in the world. Shard also has a very short temper, he's a huge hot head it seems. He needs to control this, and is learning to do this as life goes on. He is very sweet, and respectful as well.| always lived in Ghostpack ever since he was born. He lives a somewhat spoiled life
Nani (Mother), Beech, Sonny (Sisters), Grey (uncle), Striker (aunt)| nope!| looks a bit like a red work and grey wolf mix| 7 months (close to being mentored)
---
Sonny (sunny spelt differently) | Pup| female
Sonny is the biggest of her siblings, but alas, she was the second born, not the first. She is large, sleek, and has a the structure built to help her run fast, and long with agility. Her coat is very similar to a grey wolf, in fact she probably is more of a grey wolf than any other breed. She has a dark grey back and head, but also has a light tan face, and legs, along with her underbelly. She also has dark brown highlights through ther body. She has dark brown eyes with green splotches in them as well.| Sonny is way more mature, and less of a hot head than Shard. She's responsible and is normally the one in charge when no adults are around. It's almost like she was supposed to be the oldest, but Shard was to stubborn to wait. Sonny defiantly got the short end of the stick. Her ‘oldest sibling act’ leaves her with her siblings and parents, along with other adult wolves putting the most responsibility, and discipline upon her. This doesn't denture her, as she loves a challenge, and to be seen as the oldest through other’s eyes. But, it can be too much on her and this can also be a major setback for her. Sonny is also teased, and thought less of by her siblings, and other times even her parents.|nope!| always lived in Ghostpack ever since he was born. He lives a somewhat spoiled life
Nani, Beech (sister), Shard (Brother), Grey (uncle), Striker (aunt)| looks like grey wolf, but this is not for sure| 7 months (close to being mentored)
---
Beech (as in Beech tree)| pup| female
Beech is the smallest, and most scrawny of the litter. She is very small, and skinny, she has stubby legs, yet has a leaner figure. Her coat is short and colored a very pale tan. She also has very light green eyes with blue and brown flecks in them. She also has very large ears, yet a small, skinny tail.| sonny is the smallest of the group. She is anything the stereotypical youngest wolf should be. She's shy, jumpy, curious, clumsy, and easily spooked. Beech is normally the one everyone babies, and takes care of. She thinks she's a lot bigger than she really is and has sudden bursts of confidence. These bursts of confidence normally end up in her falling, or being scared off. She loves to stick by her mother, and is afraid to face the world herself without a strong and steady path to lead her. This fear needs to be tested before it grows to large within the little pup.|always lived in Ghostpack ever since he was born. He lives a somewhat spoiled life

Stone | omega| male
Stone is a dog and wolf mixed breed, meaning he has some dog like features. He grew up by lack life, but didn't join until he finally got the chance when he was still a pup when he ran away from the careful eye of his owners. Stone has an hourglass figure with many curves. He has a slim, dog like head, with broad shoulders. His actual body is easiest to explain by that of a cheetah's body structure. His legs curve down into skinny, yet muscular legs. His ribs are wide, with a well defined curve which makes him run faster. His has slim hips with long, muscular hind legs. His pelt is slightly long, yet thin. Stone's main pelt is a Rick black with white and brown highlights. His bottom side, and face is a pure white colored fur with splotches of chocolate brown dotting his pelt. Stone also has a disorder called heterochromia; a disorder given from birth when a being is given two different eye colors. This is actually very common in animals. Stone's left eye is a plain ice blue color, while his right eye is a dark brown with ice blue splotches in it. Stone is still an adolescent, and has just finished his training. He is still a pretty small wolf because of his age.| Stone is completely aware of his past with humans, and he has learned to accept it. Stone still has this trait of him being a previous pet causes many doubts and challenges for Stone. Stone is a very optimistic, and curious adolescent who still acts like an overgrown pup. But, he can have moods swings, and can go from mood to mood fast. This is somewhat of a set back when accompanied with his curiosity, but when carried out properly it's a valuable trait to have.| Stone was
born and raised to be a pet, and hunting dog. He was bred from high slandered hunting dogs, and the common grey wolf. He lived with his pampered mother, and seemingly non existent father, who he only saw through the large window peering out into a cage of other wolves, his father was always the one the stood on the highest rock, looking into the window back at him. Stone longed to be by his father's side, but couldn't. He snuck out one night when a tired worker accidentally left the door to his enclosure open. He tried to find his father but ended up getting lost! But he was luckily found by some kind wild wolves who took him in as a lack member.

Grey| Omega| male
Grey is bigger than Striker, but smaller than his older sister, Nani. He doesn't have the tough look of his younger sister, Striker, or the welcoming and calm appearance of her older sister, Nani. He is stuck in the middle. Grey isn't as muscular as Striker, he has a form that seems to be better for flexibly, and fast movements such as running, or even climbing. He has large ears that are always flicking around to get in all of his surroundings. His pelt is thinner than both of his sisters fur coats. His fur is a dusty grey color that's dotted with white blotches. He also has a darker grey fur color highlighting her legs, face, tail, and back. His legs seem abnormally long and skinny, which is good for running, but they are also seemingly prone to leg injuries. Grey’s look is also completed with fiery orange eyes, with dark brown splotched I'm them. | Grey has a dull personality. He likes to conceal most of his emotions in fear of being urged because of it. He has learned to stay calm in emergencies, and to work through problems with strategies instead of brute force. Keeping all your emotions tucked away is a challenge, and is sometimes to hard to hold back, so he does have his bursts of emotions. That's when you know something is wrong because it happens so rarely.| ever since he was a pup, Grey seemed destined for failure. He wasn't tough in the slightest bit. He was considered a disgrace to his old pack. He was underestimated, and even unwanted to his pack. For this, he was beat down and ignored! He had had enough. One night he, and his two sisters fled, and started a new, happier lifestyle|

A puppy becoming a pupil:
The Monarch(s) step forward in front of the fallen log, the gathering place. "_____, are you ready to become a pupil? If so, what rank shall thou choose?" The pup takes a step forward, looking up at the Monarch(s). "I am." Then the pup lowers his/her head, looking down with no eye contact made to the Monarch(s). "I'd like to train for the rank of ____, and how to successfully use lupus magickus." One of the Monarchs step in front of the pup, and touch his/her nose to the pup's left ear. "_____, you are now an in-training pupil. Your mentor is ____, and I hope _____ will train you well."
A pupil becoming a higher rank:
The Monarch stares down at the pupil, and nods his or her head. "_____, you have been trained to the fullest. You are ready to become a _____, and I believe that ____ has trained you well. I pronounce you a full _____, congratulations." The pupil bows his/her head, and takes a step back. "I thank you Monarch."
Lupus magickus is taught by a mentor showing the basics of disappearing, which is basically leaning into the breeze. You must lean correctly which is a gentle lean, as if you were the breeze and a wolf can travel with the breeze. If the wind or breeze stops, the wolf disappeared in the wind is shown again. Wolves are only taught this when it is windy outside or there is a breeze.
