I think they should join them by the lake since if they didn't the journey would've been a complete waste. I also hope that if the Erins decide to let them stay by the lake, that they make them an actual good clan in the books. I don't want them to be a really underrated clan that is barely mentioned in the books

Yes, I would and it's been pretty much confirmed they will. As well as the fact that it will bring tensions. I'm looking forward to it, actually. The Blazing Star will finally be complete again!
And I agree that if they decide to continue on after AVOS, I hope SkyClan will become a proper Clan like the others. Their time in the gorge was interesting as well though, with its special dynamics.

I think that SkyClan joining the lake (which is pretty much where AVoS is going tbh...) is good to bring new material into the series. I feel like a lot of the books following the first arc have been repetitive, but this is something new. Plus, I always wonder "what is SkyClan doing" when I read a Warriors book. And, I want to know everyone's reactions when they realize that there has always been a fifth Clan.
(But, if SkyClan rejoins the lake, does that mean that dead SkyClan cats will finally join other Clan cats in StarClan? I never understood why StarClan was separated because SkyClan was "too far away" or something like that).
