So I am on a sort of hiatus, but I decided that I don't want to leave the forums completely behind.
I want an rp partner who is chill with rping without any activity rules. I am going to be extremely inactive and I need someone who's okay with that. I need someone who will be chill and won't pressure me to be online more.
I have a sort of plot idea in mind if you're interested.

Sure. I've been having issues with activity myself. I'm doubling my classes for the next few months and I've picked up commissions again, so that and actually living life kinda cut into forum time. What sort of plot do you have in mind?

(Ah, awesome! Our inactivity should equal out then Good to know I won't be keeping you waiting around for replies. Also, how long are your posts? I tend to match post length. As for plot, I was thinking that Muse A (my charrie) is arrested one day for theft by a cop - Muse B (your charrie) - when they leave a shop. It is suspected that Muse A either knows useful information about or is involved in a crime ring. Muse B starts to interrogate them, but Muse A won't talk at first so these 'talks' become almost daily. A relationship starts to build between them Either that or we could have the same plot but instead Muse B forces Muse A to work with them and help them destroy the crime ring.

My replies vary in length depending on the situation and back-and-forth of a conversation. So I can set up 3 fair-sized paragraphs for actions and scenery that don't require a partner response, but if I have to wait for an action (dialogue, combat, or observation) then my replies can get cut down to 4-10 sentences to leave room.
I do have to say that I'm not really interested in rps that focus on 'romantic' relationships at all. I can definitely go for this plot, provided that the relationship that forms is based in friendship or rivalry.

That's completely fine xx
The friendship thing is a-OK with me, that's why I left it open. My charrie will be a female, feel free to do whatever with yours x
Anything else to iron out or should I post a starter?

A slim girl in her early twenties, with an athletic figure and porcelain skin paired with strikingly dark hair, stood in an alleyway, leaning against a wall as an older man spoke to her.
"You know what you're doing, Aimee?"
"Yes, oh ye of little faith" the young woman replied
"This isn't a joke, O'Keefe, there's been police swarming around all day. And so help me God if you get caught"
"I know," Aimee rolled light blue eyes "I know the drill by now."
With that, she disappeared out of the alleyway, heading into a rather posh jewellery shop. Her target.
She emerged a few minutes later, jewellery concealed on her person, safely tucked into pockets, blue eyes scanning around her for police. She'd triggered the alarm in the shop but with so many police around her only chance had been to run and hope she wasn't caught. She was in trouble now. She could only hope she could get her haul back.

(Thank you ;- The alarm that sounded in the store connected to an automatic alert system, immediately notifying the authorities. Valk, as she often requested to be called by, was in one of the cars ready to head back to the station. Her partner, Mika, had fallen asleep in the seat next to hers. He didn't usually sleep on the job, but he'd been spending the past few nights with his nephews, and from what she'd heard, one of them was a troublestarter, especially around bedtime. She'd told him it was alright for him to sleep while they headed. Then the notification reached them. Without a second thought, she turned the wheel sharply to catch the nearest U-turn, shaking Mika awake. The dark-skinned man startled, sitting up straight with his brown eyes wide in surprise. "What is it!" He asked quickly, looking around. "Burglary a block over." Valk replied shortly. "We're responding?" Mika blinked, a little surprised. Their shift was almost over. "We have to. I didn't hear anyone else was this close." Valk answered again. She used one hand to pull her pale braided hair up under her hat. Mika gave a small nod and turned his attention to the front window.

Aimee swore under her breath as she saw a police car rounding the corner, sirens blaring. She didn't have a chance. Reports would already be coming out from the shop. They might already even have a description. Bad news indeed.
Her last chance was to dart around the corner while she still had the chance and dump her jacket, in the pockets of which was the jewellery, in the alleyway where it could be found. Either the ring would pick it up or she would if she managed to get out of this.
With the police now got on her heels, she couldn't linger. So she moved on out of the alleyway, heading back out into the streets. The best way to hide was in plain sight, after all, especially now she'd been skulking around in alleyways.
Sometimes she wondered why she got involved in this, why she risked so much trouble for people who didn't treat her anything more than a pawn. She was just cannon fodder for the ring, after all. They would care at all if she got arrested today, apart from perhaps being mildly annoyed that she couldn't help them any further.

As Valk drove, Mika's attention went to the small screen of text on the dash board. They were receiving updates as they moved. "Suspect, female." He read, "Late teens, early twenties. Dark hair."
Valkoinen listened to most of his description as the car approached the store. She wasn't very good at listening to people speak when she drove since she required a fair amount of focus to keep the vehicle on the road at this speed. "Armed?" She asked.
"It doesn't say." Mika replied, frowning. That seemed like something important to know. They'd just have to be careful.
Valk stopped the car outside the store, climbing out as she surveyed the area. They didn't appear to be the first vehicle here, but the police present were already on their way inside. "Come on, we're going to look around for any easy escape routes. If the thief isn't still in the store, they'll be moving away as quickly as they can."

Aimee hadn't been armed - the ring didn't waste guns on people like Aimee, or at least not unless they absolutely had to. Because....well... this stuff happened. People got caught, and they couldn't afford to let expensive weapons get caught with people who weren't truly worth anything to the ring.
She was back out on the streets but the police had clearly sent some backup now because the area was closed off. Great, now it was just a case of finding Aimee. She couldn't get out, so she was basically caught. Unless she could hide until they gave up on finding her. That was a chance, at least, if a slim one.
She was scared, but she had to try and think clearly. If she could keep moving she might hold them off for longer. It was her only chance. She could hear shouts and footsteps already, but she could still try and hide.

Valk started to go down one alley of the store, but stopped when Mika walked after her. "What do you think you're doing? Go check the opposite alley. Radio me if you find anything."
"Right..." Mika mumbled after a second and headed to the opposite side of the building.
Valk gave a slight roll of her eyes. Patient and good-natured, yes. Forgetful and unstratigic, also yes. Still, she couldn't blame him considering he was probably still tired and maybe a little cloudy in the head. She proceeded again, pale eyes ahead with a cautious hand on her holster. She heard the slide of a foot across the gravely pavement and she raised her voice. "Who's there?"

Oh, great. She heard a nearby voice asking who was there and swore under her breath. She was hidden in the shadows but she wouldn't be for long.
Aimee ran to the back of the alleyway. Yes she'd revealed herself but she was hoping she was going to be able to climb the wall of the alleyway and get away.
So she began to try and scale it. It was difficult, but she was doing it. At this point it was her only option and she wasn't going down without a fight. Just not an actual fight with an actual armed officer.

Valk spotted the stranger going for the wall. It wasn't exactly covered, but now that she saw them she began moving forward quickly. "Stop where you are!" She ordered. She wasn't about to let them take off. The fact they were fleeing the scene already didn't look good, whether or not they were the person who'd actually robbed the store. Still, dark hair, and matching build... She was pretty certain the stranger was a woman as well. She fit the description.
She didn't draw her gun yet, but she still advanced, reaching one hand forward to pull her down from the fence if she had to.

Aimee was almost to the top of the wall when the same voice ordered her to stop. She froze on the wall and looked over her shoulder to see a police officer, arm outstretched and ready to pull her down. So she looked the other woman up and down, weighing up her options. But her eyes moved to the gun, reminding her that this officer had a rather important advantage over Aimee - weaponry. And very fast, very dangerous weaponry at that. Well, that was just brilliant.
So the woman sighed and climbed down from the wall, knowing that she had absolutely no chance of getting away by this point so she might as well not embarrass herself by trying to escape. She'd end up either dead or incredibly humiliated. Might as well try to act with a little dignity, not that she had an awful lot anyway.

Okay, the woman was listening at least. Valkoinen slowed her approach to a walk, though her hand stayed within a second's reach from her weapon. She looked the stranger over a second. She fit the description pretty closely, but she didn't want to jump to conclusions. The description had been sort of vague, and she could have just been unlucky. Still, the fact she'd tried to flee the scene didn't look good.
"Come forward." She ordered, evening her voice so she wasn't shouting at the other woman. "This is a crime scene and anyone on premises will be required to attend questioning as a witness or suspect."

Aimee raised an eyebrow "Well, I'm sorry, but I've got somewhere to be. This whole place is closed off. So if you would kindly just let me be on my way. I won't be attending any questioning"
She might as well play difficult and try and act innocent. Probably this officer already knew it was her, but Aimee had provided a fair reasons s to why shed been trying to leave and so the officer's suspicion wasn't justified. Well, she'd tried to make it seem that way.
Simmer didn't care. She would try anything to get out of here as quickly as she possibly could, and preferably without getting herself shot. Though at this point she doubted that she would be getting out of this.

"Ah, no." Valk replied flatly. "You being here has just cleared your schedule of any other events for the rest of the day. You'll have to come with me or we can and will charge you with obstruction of justice and resisting arrest should you fail to comply." She closed the last few feet between herself and the stranger. She didn't lay hand on her, but she stood only a foot away and gestured to the entrance to the ally for the woman to walk with her back to the car.

(Haha it's hilarious to see the autocorrects from this tablet XD)
Aimee mentally cursed the officer standing before her. She'd slyly cast her eye around for somewhere she could run but, seeing no way out of the situation, she grudgingly headed out of the alleyway. Maybe there'd be another way out, if she could just bide her time. Probably not, but she didn't have much of an option at that point

(Sorry, I'm stressed and nervous about school arrangements.)
Valkoinen started to reach for her radio, but Mika buzzed her first. "Hey, Valk?" He started.
Valk hit the button and spoke. "Yes? I'm heading back to the car, I'm bringing someone for questioning."
"Oh, I see. Well, I think I found something too. Theres a coat here with contents that match the stollen objects..."
Valk's eyebrows raised a little bit. "Well, I suppose get one of the officers to write a reciept to the store so we have record of what's there, and once we've found any evidence we need on the coat and stollen goods, we'll return them."

Oh God, they had found the coat. Aimee had been forced to dumo it, but she had at least hoped that someone from the ring would have picked it up first. Aimee swallowed. She'd be in big trouble with the ring if they didn't get this stuff they wanted. Oh my God, she had to hope that she either wasn't pinned for the crim (a long shot, since they had her DNA all over that coat) or she would have to hope that she was in prison long enough for the ring to forget about this whole situation.
Neither option seemed particularly appealing
