Somewhere from within the room, some music started playing. It was played by some kind of wind instrument and had a nice beat. Actually, if anyone from Earth heard it and was familiar at all with video games, they may have recognized it as the Lost Woods theme from the Legend of Zelda.

(Ja, too bad... Don't get any ideas though. We're not bringing the person back after they die. Because we're cruel heartless devils who enjoy making our characters suffer. If you want to continue with Aurora and Raja, we can.) (*bows* Thank you, thank you! ) (Also, my trickster character is lurking if anyone wants to subject one of their poor characters to him. If so, just have them walk through the main hall room of the castle.) "Only you can believe all is lost but I know with time, nothing is lost." Claudia's good at other magic's... And she isn't a big fan of bringing things back from the dead.
And I'm cool with continuing them

Lani groaned as she gets out of the bed. Her throat was beginning to burn which means it was time to feed. Lani licked her lips as she thought of human blood for a moment. "Mmm that werewolf girl never said anything about feeding outside the castle." She was really craving some human blood today.
Mako was looking down at a map and lets his fingers run against some mountain formations. Eventually he would have to leave. A part of him didn't want to leave the castle. Something seemed to be keeping him here.

Between the two relatively stable passengers on board who were actually familiar with Earth, the group managed to locate a hospital. The ship made its landing pad on the dirt mound of a construction site which, judging by the weathered concrete blocks and aged, partially-broken and vandalized pipes, had been abandoned long before their arrival. A red-faced Alfonse ascended into the ship's main room. His eyes were bloodshot and weary, but, through the whole ordeal, he still carried his satchel, which was filled with samples from his trip. He fully intended to head straight to his colleagues after Peter and Alya had been tended to, and so he decided to carry it along with him to the hospital. However, Alfonse felt somehow responsible for ensuring that both Peter and Alya were safe. Silently, he approached the boy, and gently lifted him, careful to avoid the many wounds on his body. He glanced around the room, and his eyes met Icarus'. "Please, take her." He nodded to Alya. "We must hurry. It may already be too late for the two of them." He exited the ship, and made his way out. Luckily, he was familiar enough with his hometown of New York City. With the hospital located very close by, Alfonse began to half-walk, half-run in that direction. Though Peter himself was small, Alfonse lacked much physical strength, and subsequently, he struggled to carry the boy towards the hospital. (Hey guys! )

Icarus needn't be told twice. He activated the ship's cloaking mechanism, rendering it functionally invisible. Afterwards, he knelt down and scooped up Alya into his arms, handling her as though she were made of glass. He allowed Alfonse to lead the way, since he was unfamiliar with the Earth city. Fortunately, he'd had the mind to remove his metal wings and armored suit before exiting the ship. New York City natives were used to seeing bizarre things and more than likely wouldn't have paid much attention to the wings, but Icarus didn't know that.
Peter appeared totally limp and lifeless as he was being carried. He'd lost a considerable amount of blood and his face had nearly taken on the pallor of death.
Once they'd stepped inside, Icarus drew a blank. He was completely out of his element. What exactly was the standard procedure in this place? Did they have to follow any protocol? He glanced at Alfonse helplessly.

OOC: Hey guys!
IC: Chase followed after the others with Del next to him. He was still in his cloaked form, and looked human. The thought of staying behind to look after the ship had crossed his mind of course, but he decided that it might be better if they stuck with the others this time. He looked around at everything. This was nothing like what he remembered of Earth. When he was here it was about the time when cars were first invented. He stayed silent as they got to the hospital.

Alfonse quickly approached the front desk, Peter's body still in his arms. All around the group, patients who sat in the emergency room began murmuring frantically to themselves, staring and pointing. Alfonse made an effort to speak. "Please... they're dying." Any sign of his intelligent demeanor had vanished. The woman at the desk suddenly leaped to her feet, and began to yell to a nurse. A moment later, two stretchers were rushed towards them, and Alfonse gently laid Peter down on one of them. He gave Icarus a reassuring glance, and stepped back as the two were rushed away. His head spun madly, and the smell of antiseptic nearly made him sick. His vision blurred with tears, and his ears rang out, as if screaming to end this nightmarish situation.
"I need you all to go sit down." A short, pudgy man, who seemed as if his lab coat would swallow him whole, spoke calmly to the group as the stretchers were whisked away. "We're going to need to take them to Intensive Care, immediately. At this point, it's a waiting game. From what I could tell, they're both injured badly, and they'll need blood transfusions. Are any of you hurt?"
Alfonse's eyes drifted immediately to Icarus. He expected he would have taken at least a wound or two, but the other boy seemed to be healthy. Alfonse shook his head slowly. "My deepest gratitude, sir."
"I will update you all as soon as I have word of how things will go. For the mean time, you're welcome to sit here in the waiting room." The man rushed off, and left the group standing motionless and unsure.
Delilah squeezed Chase's hand. "They're gonna be okay. They have to be." Her voice was little more than a whisper, and she sounded as if she herself wasn't so sure. Still, they were alive, and that meant there was a chance. That's all the four of them needed. A chance.

After carefully depositing Alya on the other stretcher, Icarus quickly stepped back as the two of them were wheeled away through a door. Like Alfonse, his eyes were also red-rimmed from his tears earlier. To the man's question, Icarus slowly shook his head. He felt like he should say something but the words just weren't coming. Another nurse approached, "Sir, do you know their blood types? And have either of them ever received blood before?" Icarus stared down at the nurse blankly before shaking his head again. He began to feel dizzy and had to sit down suddenly, feeling sick. His mind was still reeling. It all felt like a horrific nightmare that he could never wake from.

"I-I have business I must attend to." The guilt began to gnaw away at Alfonse once more. "I will return shortly." Chase's words began to echo in his mind, and he hesitated. With everything that had happened within the past few hours, Alfonse had lost his confident demeanor, and felt somewhat frightened. He would be unable to ask for assistance from any of the other members of the group, and as a result, had lost what could have been a potential edge. "If I do not return within several hours..." He didn't finish his sentence. Alfonse turned away, and strode through the doors and into the brisk New York air. A white-knuckled grip choked the strap of his bag, and his heart pounded against his ribs. (Don't have anyone follow him. He's gotta go this one all alone. )

A handful of seconds later, Aurora realized she was no longer standing on grass. Were they back inside the castle? She doubted it. The shield would have prevented that. She cautiously opened her eyes, and had to blink a few times, "W-w-where are we??" Aurora was answered with the most evil sounding giggle she'd ever heard, "Enjoy New York!" She turned, and unsurprisingly, the little girl had vanished. Aurora blinked dumbly at her alien surroundings. I'm definitely not in Lamura anymore...

OOC: Sorry here!
IC: Chase looked at Del slowly and rubbed the back of her hand with his thumb, trying to comfort her. "Of course they will. They're both going to be just fine." He said quietly. His voice was cracked slightly, but he did his best to not show his worry. They can't have everyone in the group so upset. He was used to seeing deaths, but no one...mostly people he didn't know, so this was still not easy for him.

Alfonse halted where he stood. All around him, a crowd continued on to their respective destinations, each individual with a unique purpose in mind. Alfonse couldn't help but feel foreign, lost, in the city, somehow more so than he ever had before. Occasionally, someone would glance his way, likely recognizing him as the child prodigy that the New York Times, among various other news outlets, had reported on, on several occasions. He rubbed his eyes, and smiled just slightly, a sad, remorseful smile. Though he didn't need his glasses after his trip to Arcania, there still seemed to be a void where they used to sit on his face. He read the print above the glass doors of the laboratory, and his chest tightened. Brookhaven National Laboratory. Below the laboratory's name, smaller letters spelled out New York City division. The lab had been Alfonse's place of study since he graduated college with a doctorate degree. Often, he was a sort of outcast in his own respect, however, and though he had always worked, the subjects he had been presented with bored him. As a result, he had begun to experiment on his own. That was how he ended up in the Otherworld in the first place, in Lamura. He adjusted the satchel over his shoulder, and stepped through the doors. Immediately, the secretary glanced up from where she sat, typing away busily. "Alfonse Ferdinand." Her gentle eyes betrayed the shock she felt, and she immediately stood to her feet. "Honey, you've been missing for... nearly two months now. Where have you been?"
Alfonse smiled, but it wasn't a genuine gesture. His eyes remained apathetic. "I apologize. I must speak with Dr. Brennor, as soon as possible. I have news of a groundbreaking discovery."
"Of course, hun. Right this way." The old woman began to hobble away. Her hunch gave her a Quasimoto-like appearance. Alfonse had never really liked her, though she was much more pleasant than many of his other colleagues. He followed Mrs. Benz through a metal door, and into a room. Several men stood over a computer monitor. The room was well lit, and the air was warm, almost stuffy, even. Various instruments lined the walls, and where the men stood, several screens reflected graphs and measurements. "Excuse me, Dr. Brennor. I... Dr. Ferdinand has returned."
An old, decrepit man turned slowly to face the two. He wore a white lab coat, which covered the many wrinkles and blemishes his arms and hands displayed. His face held not the slightest bit of relief, happiness, or even surprise. Nearly as stoic as Alfonse himself, he gave a scoff, and lifted his chin. "Welcome back, boy. It's been some time since you've last shown up."

"Only you can believe all is lost but I know with time, nothing is lost." I just thought of away that really breaks the timeline for Bells life...
"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Claudia shakes her head. She blinks seeing her surrounding change which she knows is a vision. After a few moments of worrying about Kiba and Damocles seeing her not moving she sighs and decides to figure out what the vision was trying to tell her. "Only you can believe all is lost but I know with time, nothing is lost." (OOC)
"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Bell smiles seeing Pan and Nick, glad she had caught up to Nick. "Hey Pan!" She says though her eyes gave her more then a 'hi'.

Alfonse dipped his head, as if in respect. "Yes, well, Dr. Brennor. I have... some groundbreaking news."
One side of the doctor's thin lips curled up into a malicious smirk. "Well, Ferdinand, let's hear it. Sylvia, you may leave now."
"Thank you, Dr. Brennor." The elderly secretary hobbled out of the room, and Alfonse was left alone again with the four scientists.
Dr. Brennor folded his arms and stepped forward. "This had better be good, Ferdinand."
Alfonse cleared his throat, and began. "In 1952, Erwin Schrodinger introduced the multiverse theory. Since the introduction of that theory, there have been arguments for and against it. As you well know, I, against your advice, as well as that of our colleagues here," at this point, the other three scientists began to exchange dubious glances, "have developed several mathematical formulae which could potentially generate enough energy to warp space and time in order to prove the existence of these parallel universes."
Dr. Brennor let out an exasperated sigh. "Alfonse."
"Please, listen to me." Alfonse set his satchel down on a nearby table, and began waving his hands wildly. "I travelled there! I actually opened a portal and travelled there. There are civilizations all around. Some are human civilizations, others are... not so human." He thought of Aurora, of Esra, and of Chase. "I met with several of them. I spoke with them. There is a continent on which an exceedingly advanced human civilization thrives!"
Dr. Brennor's face suddenly grew red, lending to him the unmistakeable appearance of a tomato. "Do you really expect me to believe all of this bull(!)?! This facility promotes scientific growth, not outlandish hypotheses which possess no solid evidence to support the claim!"
"I have evidence." Confidently, Alfonse reached into his satchel and removed the jar. Wrapped in a tattered cloth, the contents of the jar were not visible. "These," he held up the jar without unwrapping it, "are samples of a creature I killed in self defense. The beast resembled a manticore in all respects." He began to unwrap the jar, and the four scientists watched curiously.
As the cloth was pulled away, however, no manticore parts inhabited the jar. The stinger was gone. The ear, the eyeball, everything Alfonse had taken from the jar had vanished entirely. Instead, a mound of soil sat harmlessly inside.
Alfonse's stomach dropped, and he immediately began to panic. "What..." He opened the jar, and emptied its contents onto the table, searching frantically for his sample. "Where..." A pair of unfamiliar, mad eyes stared up at the scientists, and then swung back down. His fingers sifted through the dirt, but that was all the jar held.
