Yo! I'm Auto or McKayla. So, if you know me, you know I've been a bit absent in most of my roleplays for a long while. In all honesty, it's not my intent to abandon something but not all's been well. Know that I'm sorry for any inconveniences. Anyhow, I'd really like to get a hold on things and actually commit to a roleplay for once. Since a group setting isn't much my forte, I thought I'd give a onexone rp a go. Something small but open to world building between two people of common interest.
I really don't expect much out of anyone who wishes to join. All is welcome here! However, just to give you an idea, here's a few things about my personal roleplaying preferences.
- Romance. I'd really like something that develops into a strong relationship, nothing spur of the moment or fast paced. I'm totally open to something more platonic and actually kind of prefer it that way as well. As for pairings, I'm most comfortable with mxm and mxf. Plot-wise, the pairing and relationship building just has to be realistic for whatever setting we throw our characters into.
- RP posts. I adore quality posts. Something obviously well thought-out and directed. I tend to stray a bit in my own posts but always kind of have an objective in the end. Here it's quality over quantity. If the situation calls for shorter posts, by all means, let it be that way. My own posts range wildly. If you'd like some recent samples follow this link.
- Activity. I am trying to become a more active roleplayer but, please, don't expect me to be on every day, or every other for that matter. I may post once a day or have time enough for multiple, it all just depends on what's going on at home. However, I promise you that I won't be gone longer than a week without prior notice.
- Mood and pace. I tend to get really serious and obnoxiously slow sometimes. Drawing out certain scenes or being melodramatic is just my thing. If at anytime you feel like you'd like to push things along, don't hesitate to suggest so! It won't hurt my feelings or anything. I'd rather a happy rp partner than one silently annoyed with my posts.
- Lastly, Content. I'm pretty accepting of most things whether it be violence, drugs, cursing, etc. However, I do expect us to abide by forum rules. If you'd prefer something a bit more graphic, we'll move it to a PM. However, please note that the strict fade-to-black(skip) rule will be used for anything too explicit.
There it is! Short, I hope, and simple enough to understand. A smaller note that doesn't really have much to do with roleplaying is that I do like talking to people! I may be a bit rusty in my social skills but also love making friends. If that's your thing, that's great! If not, I'm sorry but you're going to have to put up with my awkward attempts at conversation. xp Now, on to plots and ideas. Since it's a bit easier to list things I'm not currently into, I'll start with that. However, also know that nothing is concrete! If you've a plot for something I dislike, don't be afraid to suggest it. I might just end up loving the idea! Dislikes:- Anything fantasy or knocked back into the late past(medieval times, etc.)
- Most things to do with the supernatural(subtle nods to this genre is more my thing)
- And most anything to do with real life
Likes: (i've put a star* next to those I'm most interested in doing)- Crossovers, fandom plots(with things i know!)
TV fandoms: Doctor Who, The Walking Dead, Stranger Things, Firefly, Gravity Falls, Rick and Morty, Lucifer, BTVS, SPN Movies: Mad Max, Terminator, & a heck ton of others. (just ask) ETC.: DC(comics), Maximum Ride(not the books but the idea), Norse mythos, Cryptids - Sci-fi(space age, alien world)
- Dystopian, apocalyptic(most preferred)*
- Select animal rps(something along the ideas of The Sight and realistic, mostly wolves*)
- Experiments(definitely something that makes sense, though)
- Cryptids(i've a few ideas plot-wise)*
PlotsThe idea is something along the lines of a kind of mer-person living in the southern swamps of the United States. Should it be encountered, it reveals to you a fortune, death or prosperity. Someone stumbles across it while on a hunting expedition and mistakes it for another hunter. They converse and the creature slowly reveals to them their possible future through subtle hints.
EDIT: The creature's also been wounded, the cause being written of as a 'hunting accident.' They're on a race back to the road where the hunter's car waits. When they make it back to town, the stranger they'd acquainted themselves with starts behaving strangely. (this one's kind of a one-shot-plot sort of thing.)
That's all! If you'd like to rp, shoot me a PM or message me here. I'll respond as soon as I can.

OOC Hey, I'd be up for a science fiction roleplay, like possibly about aliens or something, cause I love a good alien role-play. It'll take me time to write good, long posts, but I can definitely do it.

It's been forever since I last read Percy Jackson in its entirety. I've a sketchy memory of the Greek mythos but am willing to give it a try if you really wanted to do something of the like. Besides that, I'm totally down for a DW or MR related plot.

that was just a suggestion ^^ so for DW, I've rped it only once or twice before and it was really awkward because no one really wanted to rp as the Doctor and idk it was just poorly planned so if we were to rp DW, i'd like it to be relatively planned out and fair for the both of us and MR is fine if we don't want to do DW lol also, we have the same signature !! lol i just noticed

Haha. Funny story behind that, I thought I remembered seeing it around pinterest first and was all, "Hey, that's really cool," and totally forgot about it till a couple days ago. In all honesty, I'm pretty sure I saw it in your siggie first. . whoops. cx
I'd actually love to give a DW rp a go. I've something of a plot thought out if you'd like to hear it. First, though, did you mind me moving this to a PM?

Sorry for the delay in response!!
Gengar That sounds fine! It just kind of depends on the plot, I guess. Did you have any ideas?
Raven They're more so ideas and kind of undeveloped. I had one in particular that I've been working on mostly, though. The idea is something along the lines of a kind of mer-person living in the southern swamps of the United States. Should it be encountered, it reveals to you a fortune, death or prosperity. Someone stumbles across it while on a hunting expedition and mistakes it for another hunter. They converse and the creature slowly reveals to them their possible future through subtle hints. Besides that, if you just name some of your favorite cryptids, I could probably think up a plot revolving around it. That is, unless you had any ideas.

Ah, thank you. We can easily change the background or setting. As always, humans were trying to change themselves. This time not for beauty or attention, but for power. Humans started to splice their DNA with ones of animals to create a better human. A new breed of hybrids were born. They carried valuable skills from both their human and animal sides. The experiments were a success, and this new breed was deemed superior. First it was mandatory for them to be a solder, but as they grew more common, it was just heavily suggested. for whatever reason, the hybrid muses have joined the ranks as solders. They are sent on a mission to a mountain pass deep within the wilderness. However, the mission goes horribly wrong as a blizzard starts. Communications are cut off and they are stuck in the cold with an unknown enemy. Will they continue their mission? Will they turn back? I was also thinking, if you want drama, one muse could be separated and then other muse, from the other side, could also be separated. Maybe they both happen to find shelter and go under an unsteady peace because neither of them can risk getting hurt without help or back-up. If you're more of a fan of the escapie types, we could have the muses escape the place where they keep the hybrid and have to go through a mountain pass. Maybe we can roll back the rp to where they were forced to become solders.

Maybe we can roll back the rp to where they were forced to become solders.I really like the whole idea. Seeing these hybrids becoming a trend in society, having them outed to the mass. Seeing as they were probably brought up in a lab, they probably don't think much of the world outside. They're probably accustomed to the style of life within the laboratories and everything. And seeing as those who made them can't just release them out into the public, having them become of use someplace else fits. The idea seems really cool.
As for where you're unclear, perhaps, in an effort to escape whoever's after them, another group left through the pass with vital information. The hybrids could be apart of a mission to get it back. While they're in the pass, an avalanche occurs and they get caught between it, separated from their other allies. What these hybrids don't know is that those who stole this information were radicals hell-bent on bringing down the organization who created these hybrids. They view their research as completely unethical and seek to liberate those held there against their will.
To make it a bit more interesting, two hybrids - friends since the start - stumble across these radicals and have to make the decision to let them go - aiding them in the destruction of the organization who brought them life - or capturing them and, thus, silencing them. The two hybrids could be split on the decision and a fight soon ensues.
Does what I added sound fine? Just trying to expand a little. Also, did you want to carry this out via a PM?

Yes. I like this idea more than the ones I came up with. What if, after the fight between the friends about the radicals, one storms off and goes back to the site of the avalanche. They find their allies making their way back through the avalanche Mulan style. Muse knows they will find their tracks or scent and will try to follow them, because you can't let valuable hybrids just run away or get lost. And, no matter how angry a person is at their friend, they can leave them to get hunted down. So that is how Muse agrees to go with the radicals? Then again, this could not fit with a character or be just extra. I do prefer PM, if you don't mind.

Alrighty. My only issue with escape plots - especially with experiments - is that, if we're dealing with characters having been raised in labs, they'd have no idea of any kind of life beyond their own prison. The only way they experience anything of the outside world is by what they receive through the scientists. By this logic, they shouldn't even really be looking for an escape unless they somehow got free before and were kind of forced to live something more mundane.
Because of this, I think it would be interesting to kind of play on those differences. Someone whose lived and experienced the outside world and someone who hasn't. Maybe we could have a sort of relationship between a scientist and an experiment. This scientist was appointed to this one experiment and develops a sort of bond with them that surpasses any professional form. Knowing what they're doing here is inhumane and unethical to many standard human ethics, they plan to free the experiment, providing them a chance to experience what they have.
It'd be a kind of decision that was clouded by emotions. They might regret it later, I dunno, but it'd just be kind of cool to play with that sort of thinking process and the difference between the two characters. Does this sound okay or would you like me to think up something else? I'd be more than willing.

{Sorry for the poof. For DC, maybe we could do a hero team up? Maybe or do OC's?
For DW, i'm just dumping all the plots I can find. Some we may have to rework or some may be doubles.
This is just a quick slightly fluffly thing....? I read this story about a Christmas town. It was on a planet dedicated year around for Christmas. It was white with face snow. It could be Trenzalore before the battle, long, long before. I don't where, but long story short, they would wander around before somehow going to a home, they look around in the living room, somehow -- gets stuck on one side of a force field and the Doctor on the other. Don't yell at me, but the only way to get her out is by a kiss. But the Doctor doesn't realize that until they brush against each other. It could be the TARDIS playing with the two or something else.
^^^ One of my more favorite ones.. Aimed more towards Clara and Eleven.
Ok so basically, somehow they run into Jack, dunno how. --- and Jack hit it off. When they have a day in the TARDIS the Doctor finds them slightly disheveled, --- against the wall and Jack doing things..? With Clothes on? This would happen maybe because --- wanted the Doctor to take her home to Seattle/Wherever home is. It happens to be Christmas Eve. They have dinner either her family. But maybe Christmas Day, the Daleks attack, and --- loses a close male cousin whose died because he was taking a beam for either --- or the Doctor? After that then they run into Jack?
Ok somehow --- and the Doctor deviates from their timelines and they are in an alternate universe, but are with copies of the other. They go on an adventure or two, but in the end in the alternate worlds, they think that the have to kill or sacrifice their selves to save the other, but they end up in the TARDIS. Safe and sound. Or it could have all been a dream.
---- and the Doctor gets smashed into an alternate universe/reality where Time Lords rule and humans are basically hunted or lab rats. That they did not all die in the Time War. But the Daleks did, or so the Time Lords think.. it take a few months for the TARDIS to charge back up. ---- is endangered basically to the point like the Doctor was in Family of Blood. So somehow the Doctor comes to the conclusion that ---- must change, into a Time Lady. In the end --- either A remembers little to nothing, or there is a side effect, kinda like Doctor-Donna and the Doctor would have to wipe her memory of that particular adventure.
^^^ I love this plot, however I have never been able to finish it. I would think that it works the best with Clara. It probably would work the best after a plot or two.
This has to do with Gettysburg. Somehow, they're in the TARDIS, the TARDIS takes them to Gettysburg. The guy that the Doctor knows invites them to a dance. They say yes. The dance is later that day. And he invites them over early to prepare for it. You want to know why the TARDIS had brought them here? Because of a monster and family, some sort of. Last one it's kind or something similar or is just visiting Earth. So it's time to dance and all that fun stuff. The Doctor and --- separate whether its on purpose or accidental. --- gets to flirt with a fan... The Doctor could see her do this and gets mad, upset or even jelly, he is watching from a ways away. He loses sight of her because of people moving about and the solider had taken ---, --- went willingly to say a spare bedroom. But the monster had taken --- because he needs a mate and needed to convert her. The Doctor walks in as the thing, kinda like where in Vampires in Venice they start to convert Amy, but it's with ---, so the Doctor walks in on them, because it's just the thing and ---. So the Doctor has to stop the thing and save ---. Then the things hear that the Doctor has come and they get in their spaceship and fly off. The Doctor and -- see this happen, but turns out they start to give chase to --- and Doctor.
I'm thinking that somehow they get separated forcefully underground somehow by something chasing them. --- gets locked behind the door. The Doctor sees her, but he can't do anything. She gets knocked out by some sort of gas and they do something to her memories to the point that anything having to do with the Doctor she can't remember. They take her away to I'm thinking the 1890's, she is living right across from where she was living in England before she went with the Doctor. So the Doctor moped around for a week or two, then he is off determined to find ---. -- right is a city, kinda like the Doctor is during the events of Human Nature. But none of the adventures of her and the Doctor leak through her dreams. She just has a feeling that she doesn't belong there and that she is forgetting a major part of her life which is the Doctor. The Doctor shows up on her door step all smiley and happy that he had found her. For --- She had been there for about 3 months and the Doctor about 1 to 3 weeks. Abby doesn't recognize the Doctor and he knows something is wrong. Turns out that the --- he met on the front door is a doppelganger. The real --- is down stairs in the harness that is seen in The Rebel Flesh. He releases her. He has to help her regain her memory. We take it two different ways. One is that once they wake her and get her out of the harness and her memory comes rushing back because the Doctor was there and reminded her and then they are chased to the TARDIS. Or they are chased by the thing took --- in the first place. He takes her to the TARDIS then the scene in Human Nature where Doctor asked Martha if they seen her face. And her memory is back. That's where it leads up to the Human Nature scene. When her memory is taken away, it's stored deep within her mind. This plot could lead us to the bottom plot.
^^^One of my more favorite plots also. Works well with either OC or Cannon.
Next Plot. It happens on a resort planet kinda like Midnight. It's also based on Vampires in Venice.
This resort planet is a water planet totally covered in water. Inhabited by a diverse range of creature, including mermaids. But the mermaids aren't what they seem to be. They can go swimming, have a bit of fun together then they get down to business. We can figure out what the creature is once we start is plot. For all I know it could be the same monster fish that are in Vampires in Venice. This is basically the same as Vaps in Venice. They take --- away to become one of them just exactly like Amy. Soo... Then the Time Lord's presences could waken something that could lead us into the below plot. Or the below plot could come before this plot.
This is modeled after Human Nature/Family of Blood.
There'd be another companion, but he'd be more like Mickey, in the fact, this is only like the first or second trip out and he doesn't like it, or be kidnapped. He would be like a manservant. --- could be like a secretary to the Doctor or a lady friend or something similar. The Doctor had to change back to a human again because they were being chased by the same species or something similar.
But this what if the human Doctor started to fall in love with --- and then it all starts to go downhill from there.
They would be say in the 1920's, 1930's, where we can figure it out later.}
What if we did something similar to the New Earth Episode with something similar to Cassandra. It'd be similar in the fact that something would take over --- body, and go between --- and the Doctor. But it would use the host's energy to continue. It could be a human like Cassandra, but if the thing spent too long like 24 hours in one body then the host would die. And if you were the host then like after a couple of hours you would begin to feel tired, once the entity left you, even the Doctor would feel it, but not as bad as ---.}
