not that i really should but y'know. creativity strikes in the worst of times coughschoolcough. so about that, if you're cool with someone who can reply pretty much once or twice a day, maybe more if we're on at the same time, then great! if not, i'm sorry :c maybe during summer break.
anyways, another thing to note, depending on my creativity that day, i can probably write 20 lines but my average is 8-7 lines. i would like my partner to have about the same length or more.
-------------------------------------------------
on topics/plots that i like ( in no general order);;
- Percy Jackson / Kane Chronicles
- Dragon Age / Skyrim
- being stuck in creepy haunted houses
- horror-type themes ( supernatural stuff--like above! apocalypse settings too)
- angel/demon (not quite centered on romance)
- developing romances ( so not the "oh gosh it's love at first sight lets get married : D" )
- fxf, mxf, mxm--- you know what-- anything and i'm down w/e pal
- ghosts???
- A:TLA/LOK
- people w/ elemental powers being hunted by the government kinda thing
- guys i have a wide variety of interests lol but if you have something in mind that isn't on this list, suggest it. i may like it who knows
- oH Okami btw
-------------------------------------------------
**i'll take only one new 1x1 so, if you've seen someone else has already taken it, i'm sorry. but the more rps i try to take on, the worse my replies get. so when you post, reply with your topic of interest and a possible plot bunny(ies) so we may discuss.**
as another side note, due to school currently keeping me on my toes, don't expect a reply to be instant. case in point, i'm writing this just before i go to bed which it's 11 PM CT, so i'm 1 hour behind forum time. honestly, i guess with all this mentioned it's alright if our timezones are, like, completely out of wack with each other so if there's a reply i'll probably look tomorrow because man am i tired >.>

hello! I am so here for an atla rp, honestly. I don't really have any ideas, but I'm sure with a bit of time I could find a few premisees to work with.
also, just so you know, I usually post around 3-4 paragraphs (probably around 10-20 lines) and I'm generally pretty active. however, I have a collection of chronic illnesses that mean I may disappear for several days or even a week without warning. this doesn't happen much, but I've had people that are really bothered by it so I do my best to warn people upfront.

oh sweet c: i haven't really rped any atla except for, i think, once, were you wanting to shoot for OCs or canon characters? we can build off of that
also, don't worry about it, if it makes you feel any better when you come back then take all the breaks you need as your mental health matters more than the rp c: all i'd love and want is for the rp to keep going even w/ the breaks ^^

I think IΓ€ve only done it once, as well, actually c: but it's always something I love returning to. I'd prefer OCs as they're so much easier for me to handle, if that's alright with you.
thank you for being so understanding about it! of course taking a break won't mean leaving the rp forever, I love keeping these things going for a long while!

right? i love it too. i'm more comfortable with ocs myself c: so, time-wise, are we going with during the war with fire nation or more lok w/ republic city?
of course c: and same here, so as long as school doesn't get entirely too hectic ;;

omg yes, I'd still love to. thank you so much for chacking with me ^^ and sorry for disappearing like that, I was sick for a few days and just lost track of this.
time-wise, I think either during the war or maybe even before would be easier for me since lok never really interested me much so I don't remember half as much about it. oops.

s'all good! i've been a bit sick too unfortunately
i think during the war might provide some interesting plots. ooh, maybe somehow wanted by the Fire Nation? or escaped prisoners? would you have any ideas of before the war?
oh i totally get that sentiment about lok so i don't really know much about it either c':

thanks c: I hope you're feeling better now, and if not then soon.
ooo, wanted by the fire nation sounds really fun! there's so much that could be done with that. prisoners on the run could be fun, too, but I feel like that would be a lot more repetitive than people actively opposing the fire nation, for example.
haha, good to know I'm not alone ^^ a lot people seem to prefer it, and most enjoy it just as much, but I just never liked it all that much I guess.

same goes for you! c:
hmmm, you've got a point. maybe something like the 'Freedom Fighters'? a relatively small group with elite fighters something or other? or just generally Trying Their Best to sabotage the Fire Nation.
i can see where the appeal is coming from, though. the animation's really nice to watch but the story just never beat atla for me

small group of elite fighters sounds like it'd be right up my alley tbh! character dynamics in a small group are always so much fun, and the day I turn down getting to write some epic fight scenes i wish i could say with absolute certainty i'm as good at writing them as i am at finding writing them entertaining is the day I die
oh no, absolutely. the animation is absolutely gorgeous, and the story is pretty interesting too, it's just that atla is so much better lok never even stood a chance.

sweet! man, same, since it's not the usual two characters that people do for 1x1s. but tbh, but i can't say i'm any good at fight scenes either since i've only rp'ed some a handful of times, but experimenting is good c: how many characters do you think we have in the group?
what i really like was them telling the story of the origin of the avatar bc that was like??? really interesting???

Post by π¨π°ππ₯π¦π― π΄πΆπ― on Jan 28, 2017 13:32:22 GMT -5
experimenting is always great, yeah c: four or five, maybe? that way we don't have an overwhelming amount of characters, but it's still a sizable enough group for some interesting relationships to form. as long as it's not a problem for you to have uneven amounts of characters between us, I'd say five is the better option, but four could work really well, too.
yeah, it really was! origin stories are always super interesting.

five sounds good to me! though that goes for the question on who wants to take the uneven character. i do have two sister ocs that i was planning to use, though i do have a surplus of ocs (bc honestly who doesnt) that i would be interested in developing. which is honestly just a suggestion. if you want to take the extra slot then i don't mind c: i find it a little difficult sometimes to rp more than 2 characters at once.

yeah, I can understand finding that difficult! I don't mind taking the extra character if you want me to, but if you'd prefer to take it that's totally fine by me! I only have two characters I really want to use here, and while finding another isn't a problem (like you said, who doesn't have a surplus) I don't mind not doing so either.
can you tell I'm super indecisive yet?
