Rosario Ybarra
Oh, hell, this is too funny. They're so stupid. So, so stupid.
Perhaps it didn't show on his face (which was still set in a manic grin), but Rosario was growing bored, even if they were amusing. When Jace peered at him, he simply raised both of his eyebrows and widened his eyes slightly in a mocking version of fear, but dropped it quickly because he wasn't truly afraid, just extremely amused. He continued to rock back and forth absently, tilting his head to each person in turn and once again, unable to keep his focus on anyone.
Optional rules. That made him give something of a little hysteric giggle, watching their so-called leader go with a grin that was all teeth and certainly no friendliness. His eyes tracked the man, and then he refocused on Erik, because Erik managed to say some fascinating things, and wasn't actually as stupid as the others appeared to be, sometimes. He half-listened to Raelyn - something about hunting in pairs - and tilted his head back a little. Was he hungry? Probably, but it wasn't as if he was going to notice. Hunting did seem like a good way to work off a little of his excess energy, though that was starting to taper off the more he listened to these people.
There wasn't much of a point, he'd decided, in scolding someone who was too almighty to listen. He decided that Erik was wasting his voice and decided to only half-listen to the vampyre as he talked about something to do with continued cooperation being optional, and, hell yeah, he could be on board with that. He would've said that he had momentarily forgotten that they were supposed to be hunting the murderer but eh, that would be a huge lie because Rosario was not someone who forgot easily. He reached up to brush his hands through his hair to neaten it slightly, but gaze up on that task quickly and instead dropped his hands, tapping out an erratic rhythm on the side of his thigh. Boredom was quickly consuming him, though it wasn't so obvious from his face, which remained as wild as ever.
Stupid. Stupid. His fingers twitched slightly as his focus drifted away and he considered completely ignoring the 'pairs' thing, but then Erik decided to claim him and, okay, sure, he could work with that. Whatever. Better than having to deal with people who were certain that they were better than everyone else because ha. Just ha. He turned his grin to the other vampyre and angled his head to the side slightly.
"Me?" he asked, in a tone that was equal parts mocking and light, "well, well, well. Sure, sure. But if you want a trio then I'm saying no for obvious reasons," they were all stupid, sometimes even Erik. Three was boring. Two meant that he could break someone if he really felt like it. "So so, take your pick, Erik!" that rhymed and made him giggle a little, though to someone outside his rapid-working mind, it seemed like he was giggling for no particular reason, "me or a trio?"
He'll pick me because he's predicable, he decided, though he decided not to bet himself on it. Sometimes vampyres could surprise him, though predictability was what made him notice that, uh oh, they were way more like mundanes than they thought. At the back of his mind, he wondered if he was lowkey similar to mundanes. Nah. If he was, then they were probably locked up - for better or for worse, though, he couldn't decide, and so he let the subject drop and instead focused on something entirely else. Anything but the vampyres around him, having noticed that some tended to fawn over Jace. Why? he wondered briefly, gaze flicking to both Raelyn and Katarina as to see if either of them had something different about them. Nope. Nothing different at all. They were as boring as he'd first declared them in his mind, and so his mind switched away and instead tried to pick out the differences in the ones who fawned over their little royal child and the ones who didn't. Nope. None. Physical attraction, he supposed, was something that he'd never understand.
Then again, he supposed that it was a logical thing considering what had happened, and so he moved his brain away from the subject before it dipped into something darker. His smile was no longer all teeth, but it was still quite wide, dimpling his cheeks in a way that could've been considered cute on anyone else, but was still hysterical on him. His smile, he supposed, had always been deemed real because there was no way there was an intelligent being under there, right? Only someone who knew how to do his job and nothing else, wow, so stupid.
Rosario's eyes flicked over to the door and he rocked back on his feet for the last time before standing as still as he would ever get (which, admittedly, wasn't much, as he managed to rock faintly without the use of his feet), waiting to see what the others would say. If they'd say anything. He was bored, bored, bored. He was also noticing that repeating things three times was more fun than just repeating them twice, so maybe he'd try that out more often. Usually he just repeated things twice.
Hmm, interesting, said his brain, and then moved on without another consideration for it. That was just how he worked. His brain did not stop thinking because the world around him had stopped; he was constantly in motion, always doing something or thinking something. Of course, the latter was not known; for all anyone knew, his mind was as hysteric as the rest of him. It was, sometimes, but at least his brain showed some degree of rationality. It knew how the world worked and so did he, and he didn't care about being underestimated or not feared because that was when the fun began and everything was fine, fine, fine. That meant that when others did realise that he was more than just a manic vampyre with very little self-control, they were a little more than surprised. But then again, maybe these ones wouldn't have decent reaction. Whatever. He didn't particularly give a damn, and so he switched his gaze back to Erik and raised a single eyebrow, grin once again becoming all teeth.

[Oops! I forgot to add Capri's last name LOL]
Capri watched Jace with narrowed eyes, observing the male try and defend himself. This was such a large issue, and even a little thing that one member did could drastically affect the rest of the team. Of course, the tiny issues that people dealt with day to day did not bother her, and she would suggest for everyone to get over it. Why waste all of your energy on something that in all honesty, truly didn't matter?
But this was different. The issues at hand really could not just be swept under the rug. Yes, Jace was fully capable of taking care of himself. And in a way, he had lost so much more than they had. But this was beside the point. There was so much more to this issue. And as Jace continued, her eyebrows furrowed. No, Erik couldn't do what he pleased. And as a leader, what was Jace really thinking for suggesting that Erik could do as he pleased? Rules had been made to protect the group. To allow them to focus on their tasks at hand. And blowing everything out the window would ruin everything. It would cause everything to come crashing down. Jace needed to understand this.
And when the male turned his attention on her, she tried to contain an irritated scoff. He should care what they were all up to. He should care if they all decided to hunt on their own. They were all strong vampyres, but the enemy was an unknown. And by observing the events that had happened not too long ago, the enemy seemed to know what they were doing. They were not just foolish humans casually enacting revenge on people like her.
She ignored Katrina's scathing response until Jace exited the room. In all honesty, she truly didn't care how the female thought of her. She wasn't scared of her, held no power over here, and really wasn't even stronger than her either. They were an even match as far as she was concerned. With a rather bored expression, she turned her attention onto the other female. Capri was tired and irritable, and for once, someone was actually getting under her skin. By her interaction that had been observed, Katrina was probably just disappointed she couldn't have enacted her 'ways' on Jace. Hmn...what a pity. "Oh please, and bickering like a bunch of children really solves our issues." With a dismissive glance, she turned towards Erik.
Erik was correct in his speech. How did they think they really stood a chance against this danger when they all help no respect for each other, and in some cases, enjoyed such petty games? They all needed to respect each other simply because they had all been chosen for a reason. They couldn't allow their chances for ending the danger once and for all, be interrupted by...this. "I agree." She muttered, casting a nonchalant expression in Katrina's way at her whispered response. Perhaps Jace wasn't the only issue here. Out of all of them, she personally believed that Katrina stirred up the most trouble, always searching for some sort of conflict to stir up. And that was really beneficial. But that was just how Katrina was, so she had learned to deal with it.
At Rosario's sudden response, she turned her head to peer up at him. Furrowing her eyebrows, she observed the man standing in front of her. He was certainly...interesting. To be honest, she had been slightly skeptical when she had first met him. He had seemed a little...lost. Of course. He was just like the rest of them, (and just like herself to be honest) lacking respect for everyone when it was needed the most. Figuring that Erik would agree to the demands that Rosario had made, she turned her attention to the three other females. Sh gave a shrug. She truly didn't care who she was paired up with, although she suspected Katrina would most likely want to be with Raelyn.
She hesitated, before asking. "Should someone stay here?" After all, hadn't most of them been angry that Jace had left on his own? Residing inside of a house was a different matter than roaming the streets, but with the recent activites, the shelter of a house probaby wouldn't be much better than an alleyway in the long run. okay I am rambling and this all sounds horrible. I shall stop now even if it is short. semi-quality over quantity?
Although she was just as starving as anyone else, she was willing to stay behind so the others would be able to go out. After all, that was what they were all supposed to do. Make sacrifices, protect each other, and look after each other. Even if they all disliked one another. Her gaze flicked over to the door, before flicking back at everyone else. She offered a sly smile in their direction, her fangs protruding from her mouth. "Well go on, then. I guess I'll stay here."
