So, we have 5000 religion-based chatrooms because ???, but I haven't seen a 'university application' thread yet. So I decided to make one, inspired by the fact I woke up today stone-cold nervous about my midwifery application to UWS. So, come here and vent, rant, cry, worry, talk or celebrate! We're all here to support each other, cause a lot of us are in the same boat.
Rules
* Of course you can post in the thread if you're not applying for anything, but keep in mind the conversation will be about that kind of stuff.
* I stg if anyone is horrible enough to tease, insult or be cruel to someone based off their choices, or progress with application I will come down on you like a led balloon. Just...don't be that guy.
* Have any problems/concerns/w/e PM me.
* I'll be putting up info on the main page on people being accepted and any stories people want to share of how they coped after rejection. If you don't want that to happen, mention in the post or pm me and I totally wont' question that it's fine.
* You don't have to say what uni you are/aren't applying for, that's extorting personal info. I have, and you can, but no pressure
Suggestions on how to join
I'd suggest that you start by posting what you're applying for and your concerns about what might stop you, from there, people can come around and share similar experiences or try and support you. Here's a helpful little form you can use to start conversation:

Are you nervous:
If yes, how nervous (1-10):

Screen-name: Lilystar88
What you're applying for: Midwifery
Are you nervous: Yes
If yes, how nervous (1-10): For me? Probably like a 7
What are your biggest concerns: That I don't get in at all and have to spend next year doing nothing
What's your plan B: I don't have a plan B, I only want to do midwifery!
When you've joined, I'll try and PM you and come along side you to support you and talk to you about the application process. Sometimes strangers on the internet are easier to talk to than real people.

Raven (applying for:Colleges in general, isn't nervous but is slightly concerned about money and room-mate finding, her plan B is to go to a closer college she got 50% off tuition and then if that doesn't work out, go to one she can go to for free)
Progress:
