{{ okay world layout is up on the front page. I hope that helps you all get a better picture in your head, if there's anything you think I should add/have questions about, let me know. Here's starters for all my charries as well. }}
Raegan - Master Raegan let the staff hang loosely in his hands as he circled around the dummy. This was his favourite time to practice. It was near the middle of the day, and so most of the others who resided at the school had breaked for lunch. Although he didn't mind people watching him, sometimes enjoyed it even, as he walked through the school, the stares he got when he trained, honing his skills, always made his skin crawl a little. Although, he was a Master, and could ignore it with relative ease and continue what he was doing, he preferred to train when not many people were around and live without that prickling on the back of his neck as more and more people began to see what he was doing. Striking out at the dummy with the staff, Raegan began counting out the blows in his head, focusing on the task at hand, his surroundings melting away from his vision as he honed in on his 'enemy'.
Kiran - Apprentice Kiran was retying the silk black ribbon around her neck as she left the training rooms. She'd been going at it hard since dawn, and had literally been dragged away from the knife targets to actually get some food into her. Even now, as she walked through the school to reach the eating area, her hands were twitching, and without thinking about it, she lifted her arm, as if she still held a knife in her fingers and went through the motions of throwing at a target. Kiran loved training, not one to ever sit still, and so, even as she ate, she would often stand and pace.
Tenzin - Harlum Tenzin was in a tree. Why was he in a tree? Because he didn't feel like dealing with the Hunter that was chasing after him, asking for information. It wasn't that he was afraid of the Hunters as such, although, the logical part of him would say otherwise, but he just wasn't in the mood to talk serious. No, in Tenzin's long, long life, today was the first day in a while that he actually felt like having some fun. Maybe it was the goblin in him, desperate to pull a prank, or maybe he was just bored. It was probably a combination of the two. But either way, he was up in a tree, trying to loose this Hunter who was coming for him. Settling in, confident in his hiding spot, Tenzin let his eyes half-close, dosing in the dappled sunlight as he waited for the human to give up. Tenzin had a long life to live, he could wait a couple hours before having his fun.
Vivianne - Civilian informant Vivianne loved coffee. Vivianne despised mornings. Which was why she was so cranky today. This morning, when she'd finally managed to dragged herself out of bed, there had been no coffee left, and so she'd tried to sit at her computer and get some work done, but had finally given up, the dull ache in the back of her head beginning to scream for the daily dose of caffeine. And so, on a rare occassion, she'd walked out of her house and into the city to buy herself some coffee. Wearing her usual outfit of outrageously bright pale blue skinny jeans, holes torn into the knees, and a black crop top, she walked through the crowd with her head held high. She was determined to get her coffee, and wasn't going to let people's stares stop her. She knew what they were looking at. The scars ringing her neck and down her back. She wasn't afraid of them in the slightest, it was partially why she often showed them off, it was a part of her, and she liked herself. She wasn't going to let other people's stares get to her.

(Sounds good Lemon!)
Aurinda had snagged her lunch early to avoid the crowds, she'd spent most of the morning in the Holding Bay observing the newest creatures that had been brought in. She was a bit of an enthusiast when it came to all of the creatures. In her room, Aurinda had piles on piles of notebooks scattered here and there about all the species and info about each individual the Hunters had come into contact with since her joining the faction. As for now, she was munching on an apple and reading over a review of the latest werewolf being sought after. Her eyes flicked over it curiously and she tried to recall if they'd perhaps seen this one before. After a bit of wandering, the Hunter found herself in the training barracks and found her thoughts interrupted the noise of someone slamming their weapon into a dummy. Aurinda blinked and looked around, "Oh..." she murmured to herself seeing where she'd come to. Then looked up to see who exactly it was that was training right now. Reagan, of course. A light smile crept to her lips and she moved and settled herself down on one of the benches and went back to reading, listening to the sound of him training while she did so.
Welsch settled into a seat in the large dining area and yawned widely. He'd stayed up a bit late trying to memorize the weaknesses of each of the creatures they were to face in their final trials of Apprenticeship. He ran a hand through his slightly disheveled hair and then looked at the lunch before him and smiled, his stomach growling in appreciation as well. Welsch found happiness in the simple things in life, like getting a fresh meal while you stomach was to the point of hungry, but not so hungry that you weren't hungry anymore. A happy sigh escaped his lips as he opened his drink and downed about half of the water bottle before digging into his sandwich of turkey, ham, and two different types of cheeses. Neither he knew, but would probably guess cheddar and provolone? Then he looked up, glancing about the room for familiar faces. Of course all were familiar to him though, but someone he truly knew, a friend.
Nikita moved quietly from her finished off prey. Today it was been an unfortunate springbuck who had happened to come across her while she had been hungry. Or rather, Kita had scented it from about two miles away. The small vampire made quick work of the buck which stood a bit taller than herself. With her age, she had learned to drink (eat) carefully and keep her clothing clean. As she left the carcass for the vultures circling above her, she gently wiped the corners of her mouth and glanced about her. What were her plans for the day? It was a bit bright out for her liking so she headed back towards the small patches of trees that provided her cover. For now, Kita lived in a flat just on the edge of the city, easy access to escape if necessary and close enough to town for her more average necessities like clothing. Today, she wore a simple outfit of black skinny jeans and short ankle boots with a light heel, providing her a few inches of height. She paired the pants with a deep green long-sleeved, mock neck shirt and a long gray, fashionable vest over that. Yes, it was hot out, but what did that matter to Nikita? She did slip on a pair of sunglasses though, they fitted her face nicely and framed her features rather well, heck the sun was bright, she needed them.

(this took forever but here it is finally~ can't finish Luysa tonight so I'll edit this when I get her desc done with tomorrow.))
silverguard|~| Su Jie |~| 49 |~| Human, Guilder Su has a wide, plain but homely looking face with slim dark-pooled eyes that always seem to hold a poise and coolly challenge to them. Her black hair is put up in a layered bob cut that parts to the left with a few grayish streaks from there to there. At 5"6, she isn't all that tall but hasn't quite lost the athleticism of her Hunter days. With Su, the ends justify the means. Whether this means going behind people's backs or breaking the rules, she'll get what she wants done, with or without help. Usually her actions are taken in the right step, but she may be unreasonably cruel towards anything supernatural. She will voice her opinions freely, regardless of another's feelings. If someone's acting like a complete idiot, they're acting like a complete idiot. It's not worth her time to listen to foolishness. Mostly it's nothing personal, but any insult hurled is probably something to be taken constructively. Su has seen many friends and family die throughout her life, including her sister, Su Ling. She has no living relatives except for her brother-in-law, Thori Seys and her nephew, Shen Yun-Milere. Along with her sister, Su was born in China before moving at the age of eleven. She loved her sister deeply, who was a Hunter before she died in a savage vampire attack. Due to this, she's since had a brooding dislike towards most of the supernatural (more than usual, anyway) and also holds a grudge towards her brother-in-law, who she partially blames for her sister's death. Now, Su spends most of her days attending to the upholding of the school, watching over the detained and charting important decisions. It's a rare sight to see her lingering among the halls or training areas of the schools, but occasionally she may stop by and observe.
silverguard |~| Kendrick Burgoyne |~| 20 |~| Human, Hunter Kendrick is the kind of guy that definitely doesn't fully understand the rule of taking responsibilities for one's actions. Babbling his way out of any situation, he'll turn a serious one into a facetious one. In all fairness though, he's a lot more responsible and mature than he used to be, so he's got that. It isn't rare for him to act a little arrogant sometimes or to occasionally underestimate an opponent. He's also a skilled fighter when he needs to be but being a thrill seeker, he's prone to reckless decisions that may put himself or others in danger. Lanky and lean-muscled, Kendrick stands right at 6"1 with a nice complexion of dark brown skin. His frame isn't very bulky as it is slender and tall. His deep black hair is put into a low tapered afro with some quick curls at the top. Has a white tattoo below his left eye that goes to the upper part of his cheekbone and basically looks like the letter i turned upside down. Kendrick may let his appearance get roughed and ruffled up every so often, but he does like to look good when the time calls. Even with his rash actions, Kendrick has a pretty good sense of right and wrong. He can be incredibly courteous, brilliant, and he doesn't believe in killing anyone or anything unless the time desperately calls for it. Carries around a small leather notebook where he writes quips, notes, or poetry, some hobbies of his. Also has interest in anything automobile and is very handy with a set of tools.
Silverguard |~| Luysa Andrade |~| 16 |~| Human, Apprentice (Stage 2, silver) One word to describe Luysa would be indifferent. She takes everything with a grain of salt, good or bad, nothing really seems to phase her. She may come off as lackadaisical, careless, or lazy, which she is, to a degree. It's just that when it comes down to it, why make a big deal out of things? She has her opinions on major affairs but feels no need to voice them unless the time calls. Luysa's appearance is mostly average, not too tall, not too short. Her sleek black hair is pulled back into a bun to reveal a narrow, wily looking face. She also has fairly pale colored skin and long, dexterious fingers.

Kendrick (Hunter)
"So, yeah, you know. That's why this is extremely important that I find them before you-know-what happens! Wouldn't would that, nope not at all!" Kendrick whirled around, holding his notebook by his thumb in one hand and gesturing with the other. A small quirk of disappointment grew on his face as he realized the Harlum he had been exchanging information with vanished. Demons, Kendrick must've been talking for at least a good four minutes. He'd been positive that the Harlum was listening to his mighty campaign to end the injustice that Keepers threatened to towns big and small. But now, as he peered through the alleyway, he was sure that he'd been talking to himself for a while. Letting out a sigh, Kendrick fastened the notebook to his hip and gave a quick jog toward a gap that slipped into the bigger portion of town. As he ran out into the main street, he immediately had to swerve to avoid crashing into a crowd of civilians. Sorry, sorry.. Shoot, where could he have gone? Kendrick broke into a run, scanning faces and searching the streets. After a while he thought it futile until he recognized a familiar frame lazed up in the branches of a tree. Weaving through, Kendrick waved a hand in the air, giving a little jump as to catch his attention. "Hey, hey, you! Wait, don't run! Please, this is important!" He said, hopping by passerby's as he moved through the sidewalk.
Luysa (Apprentice)
Luysa popped a cube of cheese in her mouth, leaning back into her chair as she scanned over a Sudoku puzzle. Like most days, she'd already finished with her lunch. Usually she was one of the first Apprentices to reach the dining hall, not always the case, but usually. Sure, training was important but it got tedious after a while. It was just the same thing over again, the same little motions, weapons jabs, information and techniques that she already knew. Of course lending an ear to new skills was important, not like she wanted to sell her soul to the Divid or anything. But all and everything considered, training could still get pretty boring. So now, Luysa flipped through her small puzzle book, eyes focused as she searched for incomplete grids. Sudoku wasn't necessarily her favorite but it was good for passing the time.
Su (Guilder)
Su let a sigh escape her lips as she leaned forward, scanning over a series of documents and letters. She knew what they were about, she'd read over them many times. The Holding Bay, always the Holding Bay. Supernatural, death, disorder. It was getting worse. Rubbing her head, she slouched back in her chair, her fingers drumming at her upper lip. She glanced towards the clock that ticked loudly in the room, staring at it for a few moments. It was about time where most would be dining for lunch in the hall, she knew. Often avoiding close encounters with apprentices, Su preferred to eat her meals in solitude. Sometimes she ate with a few close colleagues but that didn't happen very often. Giving the documents one last scan, she pushed them towards the center of the table before getting to her feet. The halls were usually emptied around this time so she decided to take walk. Maybe check with the bounties or the captured, she didn't really know. It was just nice to be with her thoughts for a little while.

Vance (Civilian Informant) Walking along the busy sidewalk, his brown eyes skimming everything, and everyone in front of him; it was mainly to assure that he wouldn't hit anyone who may or mainly wouldn't be paying attention. Keeping his messenger bag close, he pressed on squeezing through the crowds of people talking, texting, or simply being out of it. It was not before long that the crowds were slowly diminishing, as he walked in a direction flowing against the majority. Ah-perfect.... from here I can take the round and be at the park in no time! He quickened his pace seeing not so many people to worry less about.
Savannah (Apprentice) Savannah walked down the halls quietly glimpsing in all directions, she had stayed up the previous night reading a book lent to her by a fellow college. The book was very captivating that she had indulged in the entire story overnight, therefore sleeping in. Or at least trying to sleep in, dspite that she was up, dressed and heading for the dining hall. Remaining silent she walked into the dining hall then continued her way in a quick snack. Afterwords, I can finish some studying before going out for some training-
Rowlin (Vampire) Rowlin rested under a tree which provided him with a most engaging shady cover. He had a laptop and tablet propped on his feet which were straight out, to make a makeshift table. In one hand he had a a stylus, which he used to scroll through both the tablet and laptop. His green gaze skimmed quickly back and forth between the two screens. Late work opportunity, and they all suddenly decide to flood you with all their assignments...some which I shouldn't even be here grading....tch kids.... He shook his head. It's drawing me back a little, which means less time for the other class..... thankfully no late work...

Nikita (Vampire) From the outer edge of town, Nikita slowly made her way towards more people and sighed softly. Her hand flicked up to brush her hair back again and then she glanced around her. She made quick work of assessing each face for familiarity and then nodded to herself and looked back ahead. Though she'd nearly collided with a young man with a messenger back tucked against his body. She moved quickly to avoid him but brushed his shoulder nonetheless and stumbled a few steps. "Sorry, I didn't see you." she murmured, the softest hints of a Russian dialect slipping into her words. Nikita hardly even looked to him before she leaned down to pick up her fallen sunglasses, blinking a little in the sudden flooding of sunlight into her retinas.
Welsch (Apprentice) Welsch took another large bite of his sandwich, smiling happily at the food finally in his stomach. His eyes then flickered back up to observe the room for any of his friends. He knew quite a few of the faces but that was it. He just knew them, hardly talked to them, didn't consider them his friends. However, he wanted someone to talk to right now, he was a social person and needed that contact. A light sigh escaped his lips, no one seemed to pop out at him right now. Quietly, he pulled out one of their textbooks about battle styles and he flipped through the pages before settling on the chapter they were to be reading. His eyes moved over the text fluidly as he continued eating his lunch.

Oh please...come on.... I'm already running late- Vance whizzed around to see someone not too far off his age range, she was already kneeling down to reach for her glasses. S-She's fast on her feet.... oh good so she isn't in the mood to talk, better! "If anything, I should be apologizing." He knelt down and held out his hand to help her up. Oh dear... that feeling of removing glasses into a different shade of lighting-been there. "I do hope you are alright, I would hate to ruin your matters based on a simple collision." His eyes occasionally glimpsed to inspect her, on the inside he could hear his father lecturing on the importance of taking responsibility for a mistake. I was careful-I should not have hit anyone.. He doubted.
With her success in snatching food, Savannah made her way through the room finding a place to sit. A lot of places appeared full, or busy in terms of interaction. Skimming she nearly jumped seeing it somewhat controlled across from Welsch. Yes, yes yes! Right there, perfect! Quickly she paced, then seated herself across from him. "I hope I'm not intruding on your ravish adventure." She grinned.

Nikita looked up as he was suddenly speaking to her and she arched a brow lightly but took his hand, her skin chill to the touch but nothing too terribly given away. She wiped her glasses clean with the hem of her shirt and glanced the boy over. This one, she knew this one from somewhere. He wasn't a Hunter though, at least not a true Hunter. Though he appeared too old to be an Apprentice. After a moment of eye contact she looked back down to her glasses and simply folded them up and pushed them into her purse before turning her gaze back upon him. her deep blue eyes analyzing him carefully, "Do I know you from somewhere, you seem terribly familiar." she told him lightly. Not usually the one to start a conversation, this was a rather strange occurrence for Nikita.
Welsch glanced up from his book as company arrived and he nodded in reply, "Oh no you're fine!" he chimed in reply to her. Savannah, she was an Apprentice as well. He smiled lightly to her and then chuckled and shook his head, "It's not much of an adventure, it's chapter 7 of the Battle Techniques textbook." he told her with another little bit of a chuckle as he turned the book to show her the pages he was on. Truly, nothing even remotely exciting in his own opinion.

Vance felt the chill cold, yet kept a calming overall expression through the entire exchange. Perhaps a quick shower, if she's running late for something? I've done it too, sometimes. His attention shifted to a rather confused expression, his brown eyes lightly retracting from the surprise of the question. "D-Do I?" He tilted his head a bit. "Unless a doubleganger was living around here for the last two months, then perhaps I would be familiar." He tried to be funny, but the concept the way her worded it was a little serious to take lightly. "But-I just returned from an expedition in the Caribbeans." He slightly frowned. "P-Perhaps from Uni?" He asked now softly. But maybe I've seen her when I been around? I don't take notice of too many people when I'm here anyways-but still an odd way to start a conversation. Dad always mentioned that those sorts of questions on the warzone-tch... just a coincidence! Maybe I have seen her around
"AH, and here I thought you were secretly harnesing an manga under the book." Savannah teased. "Nonetheless, battle techniques are better then a biology book for a course in four weeks. W-Well a book on battle techniques is better then almost any other text book involving termonology on a subject we all least like. It just all depends on preference." She waved a hand. "Nonetheless, reading is only as good as putting it to practice. But as most people repeat over and over and over again, take it small, before leaping into the deep end." She leaned slightly forward, "But other then text books, everything around here appears to be slow, and calm. Which is good, but class wise it might inspire a teacher to give a quiz. Whether it be physical, oral, or on paper."

Nikta watched his mind scramble through his eyes, she'd been around long enough to learn a few trades on reading expressions. As he spoke and stumbled about she nodded quietly in return, "I see." she replied simply after his first statement. Though he spoke to certainly of doppelgangers for her to yet dismiss her notions. Nikita tipped her head lightly to the side then and another thought flickered to her mind, "Do you know Reagan?" she asked simply. If he was in relations with the Hunter than he was certain to know one of the Masters of their factioned group. The smallest hints of a smile flickered to the corners of her lips then as she waited quietly upon his answer. Her mind still flicking through faces upon faces from meetings she'd been privy to spy on. That's when it snapped into place, an informant. Not a Hunter at all, too unorganized and scattered to be a Hunter. That's when the small smile became more visible, yet another strange occurrence for this Vampire.
Welsch listened to her quietly as he continued to eat his own meal and he laughed once again. Savannah was quite enjoyable to listen to, she had a way of speaking that drew him in and it was almost as if she herself were telling a story. Finally when she finished he nodded in agreement, "The quiet makes everyone restless." he commented before taking a swig of his water and taking a moment before continuing, "I suppose I wouldn't mind a physical or oral quiz, it's those writing ones that get to me. I'm terrible with memory when I have to pull it out from years of learning. When it comes to oral, that stuff just flows. And physical? That's all just muscle memory. I do suppose you're right though, if I were learning this in training rather than reading about it, then perhaps I'd be much more interested in the topic. He commented as he tapped the page with the clean end of the spoon he'd picked up.

Vance rested a hand on his messenger bag, then shifted his right leg back a little. Now is not the time for questions, I am running late "I'm sorry for the mishap, but I have been on an expedition for a friend, who is a marine biologist. I returned to town last night, therefore I have much to do, and much to catch up on with associates in various fields who leached off this favor for information on marine life." His voice fell firm, his instincts were telling him to run, but his father's ramblings told him to stand firm. He paused now when she asked about Reagan. What does she want to know about Reagan? I'll need to make a few calls later, to ask if anything's come up while I was gone. "Reagan?" He raised his other hand, ready to finger county. "Reagan Sullivan, Reagan Burke, Reagan floriz? That's all the Reagan's I know." His expression shifted to an apologetic gaze. "There might be another Reagan hmm..." He now waved slightly stepping farther back, "Come with me, refresh my thoughts. Maybe I can help you find who you are looking for. I'm running late for a meeting at the park, but I'm certain my associate can help you. If anyone knows people, it's certainly him." He assured calmly. SHe's clinging, it's almost as though she wants something.. Tch , my luck. He paused feeling his phone vibrating on the messanger bag's side pocket., Drats-he's noticed my tardiness too!
Savannah took a moment to munch down on her food a bit, before taking a sip of water. "It's silence that strikes with vengeance!" She nodded firmly. "But it's not entirely bad; helpful in a few instances, deadly in others." She leaned back into her seat. "Now quizes aren't too bad, but when you are in the middle of lecture and the instructor just decides to throw the quiz out there, then sure it's a drag. Then again-they went to school to be at that position, dealt with more exams then we will, that is if we aren't pursuing a teaching career." She snapped her fingers, "Life flashes just like that, and we are expected to know it all. It's impossible, but instructors seem to know it all. They need to knowing they have been put through intense exams nonestop." She paused. "Anyways! I'm drifting off topic, spent the entire night reading a book, and the book basically talked about the life of teaching. Fiction of course, because the teachers had like drama everywhere. B-But going back to training, I mean if you are down for some practice I wouldn't mind volunteering to die or anything." She casually offered.

Raegan finished off his drill and lowered the staff, breathing heavy. He liked to push himself when he got the chance to train in peace, and often reached new limits in his abilities by just continuing on and on until he physically couldn't any longer. Turning to have a drink from his water bottle which he'd left on one of the benches that lined the edges of the room, he almost dropped his staff in surprise as he saw someone sitting there. It was Aurinda, a Hunter just a year younger than him, he realised as he walked a bit closer. "Hey there." He greeted her casually, recognising the review on the latest werewolf as the thing she was reading. "It's an interesting one, isn't it?" He asked, setting the staff to lean against the wall before taking a swig from his water bottle. He knew that she was highly interested in the supernatural creatures that prowled the world they lived in, and so thought it was a good topic to discuss with her. Raegan didn't often get a chance to converse with people around his own age, and so when he did get a chance, he took it.
Tenzin was immediately alert as the Hunter neared, but he remained still up on his branch, hoping they wouldn't notice him. But alas, they did see him and began jumping up and down and waving their arms. Not wanting to make a scene as the fool began yelling up at him, Tenzin gracefully slid down off his branch and out of the tree. When had it become his branch? Anyway...he had to deal with this Hunter right now, that was the important thing. "Look here, Hunter," Tenzin was not in the mood to play around, so his voice was quiet and intense, a sign he was annoyed, "I don't care what you think is important. I've lived a very long life and don't owe you lot anything, so just take what I've given you and leave it at that, got it?" He continued, getting up in the Hunters personal space by stepping forward. For a Harlum, Tenzin was tall, and so he had easily mastered the art of looming over people in an intimidating fashion. "You don't want to cause a scene in front of all these civilians, so just make like one of your Guilders and get out of my life for the next century." He'd chosen his words carefully, knowing that to attack the highest rank of these folk would insult any one of them. He'd basically just called all of their Guilders lazy and insinuated that they didn't do any of the work themselves. Turning on his heel Tenzin began to walk away, hoping that would be the end of it.

Nikita watched him quietly, her eyes taking in every miniscule movement of his features and flicker of his eyes. It took her a moment to assess his words and then she nodded quietly, signalling she'd been paying attention. "An expedition?" she questioned lightly to him with an arched brow. He didn't seem like much of the exploration type in her opinion. As he urged her to accompany him to meet his associate she paused a moment, debating on if she truly needed to follow this young man. He seemed sincere for the time being, and she could continue lying, why should he know who she is? In addition, he intrigued her enough so that she would continue with him for now. With a gentle nod then she finally continued after him, following at his side easily and smoothly. Her eyes flicked back ahead of her and she let out a gentle sigh, pushing her hands into the pockets of her vest and her normal apathetic expression appearing on her face. "What is your name then?" she inquired glancing up towards his features for a moment or so. Welsch listened to Savannah the entire time she spoke, he was interested in what she had to say and wasn't going to discourage her by seeming bored or uninterested. He smiled lightly and chuckled to her lightly as she brought herself back onto the correct topic. "A book?" he inquired arching his brow lightly to her as he watched her continue onward with the conversation. He brought his bottle up to his lips and took a sip of his water before nodding in agreement to her. "Oh please, you wouldn't die!" he chimed brightly to her with a bit of a chuckle as he tipped his head lightly to her, "But, in all seriousness you wouldn't mind training with me sometime?" he inquired to her with a light arch of his brow. Welsch was not the best at combat, but he was pretty well-known through the apprentices in his ability to get up after hard blows. He was resilient and persistent, that's where Welsch found most of his strength. His techniques were something that could use serious work and refinement that was for certain though.

Aurinda smiled as he finished up and strolled over to her and she nodded in greeting, "Hello Reagan." she greeted pleasantly. As he addressed the material in her lap her eyes sparked a moment and she nodded brightly to him, "It is! I don't believe it's a wolf we've come across for, that I can recall." she told him with a bright smile and a chiming tone. She laughed a little and then shuffled through her papers and bit and showed him some notes she'd taken on another werewolf they'd recently come across as well, "This one, this is a werewolf that I fought about a month or so ago, she was vicious but had been injured previously from a fight with something else." she told him. Then she blinked and shook her head, "I'm sure you don't want to hear about work while you're at it." Aurinda added lightly as she brushed back some hair and her eyes flicked up to his, arching a gentle brow to him, "How are you today?" she inquired to him with a pleasant smile on her lips.

Kendrick (Hunter)
Kendrick felt a bit sheepish under the Harlum's gaze, but he just managed to keep a proper stare until he had turned off and down the street. He had to admit, even at 6"1 himself, the guy was a lot taller up close. But little intimidation tactics or insults weren't going to be enough to throw him off course, no, definitely not now or ever. Jogging, Kendrick met the Harlum at his side, ignoring his bash on guilders and whatnot. Not like they had given him an easy time, anyway. "There doesn't need to be a scene.. But you know something, don't you?" He paused, unfastening the notebook at his hip. "You've helped before, right? Why the change of heart?"
(ah sorry this is short. I'm fed up with work & school till the weekend )

𝓼𝓲𝓵𝓿 Vance stopped with a gentle smile, "Yes, I was to assist a few marine biologists with some of their dying questions while I dived into the waters of the Caribbean. Whether it be samples, photographs, video, so on so forth. Marine Biologists go on the field, but not all of them feel comfortable with the deep vast carpet of water above them." He waved a slow finger. Seeing her now following him, he continued on his way keeping a steady pace to keep close with her in respects to their conversation. "My aquaintance, well-he tells me to call him that, or friend, but he was my professor back at the Uni so-I just can never stop calling him Professor, but I'm just going to provide him with some of my findings from the trip." He calmly explained. "Feel free to ask him about the person you might be seeking." He turned himself around completely to walk backwards a bit. "Oh! My name is Vance, I do apologize for not informing you sooner!" He stated then raised a curious brow, "And If I am not sounding too rude, what might your name be?" Savannah nodded, "Yes a book! A good one too." She briefly defended. "But yes, I would not mind training with you." She confirmed after, "I mean, how else are we supposed to learn? To practice and repeat-that is what enforces the states of learning." She leaned forward a little, "No matter how small, or how many times; it's not about perfect, but about how we get there. Something my instructors in Yoga and Dance always repeat to us during times of need." She smiled, "But-if there is something specfically just ask, and I'll try my best to work with you. Maybe I wont know, but nothing a little bit of studying, and informing ourselves can't fix."

Nikita walked alongside him, rather pleased he was content to speak so much, it made it less of a hassle for her to try and continue a conversation. As he recapped his trip to Caribbean she arched a brow lightly that was a place she'd yet to experience in her lengthy lifetime. Perhaps she'd put it on her list. Then suddenly he was describing the person they were going to meet and she glanced up towards him a moment, he seemed rather fond of this individual. Then her gaze drifted back ahead of them and she nodded lightly in return, tossing a hand lightly over her shoulder, "I'm not searching for anyone, it doesn't particularly matter." she told him simply, her hair then moving to brush back some of her hair from her eyes. Suddenly he was in front of her, strolling along the sidewalk backwards as it were. Her own brow arched curiously and she nodded in return, "It's nice to meet you Vance." she replied simply. "You can call me Blanche." It was her go to name for quick meetings like this. She'd more than likely never see this boy after their encounter right now, or so she figured, so why bother giving him her real name?
Welsch laughed brightly to her exclamation and enthusiasm about her book and finished up the fruit that had been on his tray for lunch. His eyes moved down to the empty cup in slight disappointment before back up to Savannah and he nodded. "Perfect, I would always enjoy having a partner to train with, it makes it easier to discern where my faults are." He flicked back some of his hair and then nodded to her and arched a brow, a small tip of his head accompanying the coming question, "Yoga and Dance? Where do you take those classes?" he inquired to her. "Or do you still take them now?" he added lightly realizing perhaps with Apprenticeship she may have had to drop them. But, for Welsch, it never hurt to ask and learn more than you knew beforehand.

"I think you're right about that. I don't remember coming across this one before." Raegan said, taking a seat beside her on the bench. Raegan looked at the new pages she'd shuffled to, curious to see where she was going with the topic. A werewolf previously injured from something else. Those creatures were tough, so there wasn't a lot that could actually hurt them. One being injured was unusual. But then Aurinda changed the subject, suggesting he probably didn't want to hear about it, and then asking how he was doing. "I'm doing as good as could be expected today, but I am most certainly interested in where you were going with that about the werewolf." He said, answering her question and then asking about the previous topic in one statement.
Tenzin sighed as the Hunter suggested there didn't need to be a scene, as if he was the one that was going to cause one. Tenzin was the one who wanted to get away to avoid causing one, the Hunter was the one following him and would be the reason one was caused. He began to grow more and more annoyed as the Hunter suggested that he knew something, which he did, and that if he had helped before, why not now. Tenzin may have decided to give him more of a clear answer, but then the guy unfastened the notebook at his hip, as if that had solved everything. "Why the change of heart?" He hissed, furious now. "I could ask your kind the same question. I know of your Guilders and their plans to wipe us all out. We all do. Why do you think I want nothing to do with your lot anymore." Tenzin once more turned and strode away, hoping that, at least that would be enough deterence, but somehow he knew that it wouldn't be.

Aurinda smiled to him and scooted over a bit but let him see the pages she had flipped to and pointed out a few of the traits she had listed. Then she looked to him and smiled, as he asked once more about the werewolf from before she laughed a little and nodded, "Well, I brought it up because seeing something like that, a werewolf for certain, being injured from something before us Hunters? That's nearly unheard of." she commented before turning back to the newer Werewolf they'd just come across, "But, I was thinking that maybe she'd met with this guy. He's big, one of the larger ones we've seen and he's new to the area. Now, we know werewolves are somewhat territorial and protective. What if these two just got into a big fight with each other?" she inquired to him. She laughed lightly, "I know it's nothing really exciting but it's a though. If she was fighting to protect territory, that means she had something to protect. Maybe it was just another werewolf, maybe she has something to hide, maybe she's just territorial. But, in any means. It's interesting to think about." she smiled to Reagan than and tipped her head to the side, "Sorry, I kind of rambled on a bit but, what do you think?"

𝓼𝓲𝓵𝓿Vance slightly frowned, while he turned his head elsewhere, "A-Aye Sorry-you just seemed so eager, I-I just wanted to assist you to my best abilities." He apologized in a soft tone. "B-But.." He continued his backwards walk, as he completely relaxed his upper body; "If you have other things to do I shouldn't be holding you back.." He now considered; then turned around once more to now face the direction they walked in. Upon hearing her name, Vance couldn't help but lightly gasp, "Blanche, that's French, right? I believe it translates to fair white." He considered his eyes gazing up to recall the thought. "D-Do please correct me if I, am mistaken." he quickly added with hesitation. Ah the park in view! He turned directions, then let his brown eyes gaze out towards the park in which they approached. He should be here-somewhere...up ahead? He snapped a finger now as a thought snapped into place, "Forgive me for asking, but would you happen to be from Europe? I-I noticed your accent earlier; I couldn't resist." He turned his head back a bit to catch a glimpse of her, in the process some of his light brown hair fell out of place, with the constant head turning. Savannah had finished the mismash of food she had put together, based on what was left at the cafeteria. Luckly she had not grabbed much, but with the little she did; it was satisfying enough. She turned for a moment to take a quick glimpse at the entire room as a whole; but nothing really caught her eye to look twice. Returning her attention back to Welsch she smiled. "I will give it my best!" She enthusiastically replied. "B-But I'm not too confident in my fighting, if we're being honest. But still, I can certainly put up a fight." Her attention turned towards her trey as she wrapped her hands along the edges, "I still take Yoga and Dance; everyone said it would be a hassle, time consuming, and exhausting; I felt the need to prove them wrong." She paused, "A-Actually I still feel the need to show the other's that some things can be taken simultaneously while dedicating to one full duty." She gazed down as she spoke with a soft and firm voice. Shortly after a pause she returned her attention bck to Welsch, "So-when you are ready?"

Nikita listened quietly to him continue on about an apology and then onward some more about the name she'd given to him. He seemed quite the talker, she didn't mind much though the way he spoke was confident and eloquent enough that she rather enjoyed listening to him for now. Then suddenly he'd asked her a question now and her eyes flicked to meet his gaze and she nodded, "Indeed, I was born in Moscow and travelled often after my 20th birthday." she told him simply. This was true, she was born during the reign of Ivan the Terrible and in her twentieth year she was chased down the city streets by a band of thugs. They turned out to be much more than that though, a few rogue vampires who had managed to escape the archaic hunters of the time. Instead of killing her, they'd been chased off to quickly and she'd been left to turn on her own in the streets of Russia. That was her birth she considered it, the year 1537 in the dirty gutters of Moscow. Not the most glamorous of stories, there were certainly others who had greater births than she. But, what did that matter, she was one of the oldest she'd yet to meet in that aspect she out-ranked and out-matched them. Yes, Nikita was a bit conceited and a rather egocentric person most of the time when it came to her vampiric pride
Welsch watched her reaction to his inquiry and listened to everything she had to say, putting it back into his mind for later. "I see, well I think you're doing an excellent job so far." he told her with a chiming tone and a bright smile. With that he nodded and rose to his feet and stretched his arms above his head a moment, giving out a light groan of relief. "Alright, let's get going then!" he snagged his tray with one hand and his book bag with the other before heading to the counter and drop off the dish after which, he stepped aside and waited for Savannah to do the same. "I don't believe the training rooms should be all the crowded at the moment since everyone is here or in their dorms taking advantage of the free time." he commented lightly as he pushed his hands into his pants pockets and let out a content sigh. His stomach was full and he had company to train with, it had turned into a rather pleasant afternoon for him.

Vance continued along the path, his gaze skimming from side to side through the grassy park. Recalling his instructor, he liked to hang out just about anywhere. For all he knew, his instructor could be on the tree gazing out for whatever reason. Resting one hand on the messenger bag, he began to sway the other hand slightly just as a way to think of possibilities. "Moscow, my that is quite the unique terrain. I've read and studied a bit about it, but I have not had the chance to visit Russia as a whole as of yet. I do hope to make a stop sometime, even if it isn't for well-scuba." He smiled calmly. Since her 20's? She doesn't appear much older then me... but maybe she doesn't put on too much make up? Drinks a lot of water too perhaps? It would explain her youth... He snapped out of his thoughts when his eyes captivated over towards Rowlin whom was busy grading under a tree. "Ah! There he is, or at least one of the many professors I need to annoy." He softly stated with a hint of excitement. Walking over he signaled towards the lad under the tree. He's grading? That appears like he is grading-darn had I known I would have just dropped off the usb at his house...
Rowlin blinked his bright green gaze turning away from the three screens before him; to address the young man approaching him. "Surprise, surprise; you made it back in one piece!" He quicly closed the laptops, then slid the tablet into its case. After leaving it on the side he stood up to quickly dust himself off. He wore dark jeans, with a grey long sleeve V-neck with a white under shirt. He smiled excitedly; removing his reading glasses which he was using to read the multiple screens. He stretched his neck from side to side to relieve himself from the pain of leaning his head down for so long. "But it is a pleasure to see you once again, I appreciate the time you've taken to not only collect what I asked for, but to meet me down here on your rather busy day." His eyes would occasionally glimpse over towards Nikita.
"I-It's not a problem, if it helps with your lectures, I am more then abliged to help! After all you made my history class more fun, considering I am not a history major." Vance laughed lightly. "A-Ah and this is Blanche; I met her not too long back-recent actually." Vance had managed to keep a calm smooth voice until he reached the point of introduction. His voice began to slightly cut off as to being unsure as to whether to call her a friend, associate, or new companion. Being unsure his voice held uncertainty as he carefully worded without trying to make it sound so bash or rush. "Ah here!" He quickly knelt down to open up his messenger bag; taking out two CD's and a flash drive. "Here, I had the others on the trip help o with this." He handed Rowlin the info.
Rowlin shifted his attention towards Nikita, "Well, Blanche.. I truly hope we don't bore you for the details of the past." He coughed towards the side, "Vance may have mentioned this, but he is a marine biologist; and a certified Scuba Diver. Therefore he carries the smell of salt on a usual basis. Whether he be diving, or at his own home diving in his own tank." He lightly taunted.
"I-I don't dive in my own tank for pleasure-" Vance softly replied.
--
She snatched her tray with excitement; once up on her feet she followed Welsch, dropping off her tray at the counter as well. She glimpsed around the room once more, "Well you might be right on that. Not too many empty rooms, and if worst comes to worst we can always try outside or something." She considered. "But yes, let's get a move on and see what's in store for us." She clapped once, "We might be lucky to find an instructor, they are always willing to help."

Vance's enthusiasm was a bit enlightening to Nikita, she was so used to being in front of those who wished only to kill her, hastle her, or get information from her. Politeness like this was welcoming and a bit relaxing. As well, she didn't have too many she called friends in this city and tended to retreat to herself most nights. Indeed this day was turning into something quite out of the ordinary for her. Finally they reached the man Vance had been so excited to meet and her eyes flicked over him quickly, assessing and analyzing as they always did. He certainly seemed familiar as well. Once introduced she greeted Rowlin with a light nod and the smallest hints of a smile, "It's a pleasure to meet you, and I had yet to meet a scuba diver. Vance's tales of his most recent journey were enjoyable, do not worry about boring me." she assured the two of them lightly. Her accent just noticeable when she spoke certain words, and the slightest of slurs hinted as well. Her eyes moved back to Rowlin and she arched a brow lightly in questioning to him then, "You teach history then?" she inquired simply, "At what levels and what kinds of history?" suddenly she seemed to open up a bit more before the two of them. Her more reclusive and sharp-tongued nature dissipating for now. However, that condescending tone that always seemed to follow her still drifted into the questions she pointed towards Rowlin, it was not that she meant it, it was how she was.
Welsch strolled alongside Savannah easily and took in a deep breath once more and glanced about, out the windows as they passed them, into classrooms, and whatever else they wandered by. Finally they reached one of the larger sparring rooms where the larger classes practiced. Only two others were in the whole room and his eyes flicked to see who they were and he smiled lightly. "Aurinda and Master Reagan." he told Savannah elbowing her lightly and nodding over towards them. "She's the one who's always done in the Holding Bays getting info and stocking up on papers. A few of the apprentices think she's nuts. I just think she's dedicated. And hey, we've discovered new things about some of the creatures because of her." he commented before his eyes flicked to Reagan again and he seemed to get a bit nervous. "He's the master I admire the most." he told Savannah as he headed for the other all of chairs to set his bag down.

{{ that's okay Night. Try and get one up soon please! }}
Raegan nodded as Aurinda talked, seeing what she was getting at with this train of thought. It was certainly plausible and was something interesting that could be worth looking into. As she asked him what he thought, he paused for a moment, trying to gather the leads of possible information that were his thoughts on the matter. "I think you are on to something with this. If the werewolves are fighting among themselves now, it means that there might be more than one pack. I know that most of the time they stick to themselves, but we've seen packs before. So what if one has formed and it's going after the loners?" He mused, but as he thought some more, his dismissed the idea. "No, it's more likely that she had something to protect. But what she was protecting is the real question..." Raegan trailed off as he noticed two Apprentice's had walked into the training room. That was something unusual, students willingly being here during their breaks. "Getting in some extra practice?" He called over to them in way of greeting, but not moving from his sitting position.
