Hey Storm, sorry this reply is late, I've been busy with homework today. Yeah I like your night-warriors idea, but the only thing is with the ginger cats. Because in some cases, ginger cats can be very pale/creamy which can be very blend-able during certain points of day. Perhaps if a cat is born with a red pelt, in the Tribe's eyes that'd be cursed and we continue on with black cats being said to 'dye young'. Which I doubt. Maybe its just a saying to scare black cats? But in reality they are just looked down upon and forced to hunt at night? I don't think it'd be fair if the tribe was completely segregated between colors, though its a bad sign hunting wise due to their environment. But tundra's aren't always snowy/icey as I've stated before. Maybe these are known as 'lucky seasons' to cats with darker pelts?
Also, did you have any ideas on history?

(True, the black cats could be forced to hunt at night. And for history, I think I have a few ideas I was thinking that a tribe of Native American people in Alaska could of lived with the cats because they hunted the rodents and birds that tried to steal their food. Eventually, the native Americans could have been forced elsewhere, or died out, leaving the cats set in the ways of the tribe and desperate to make their own perhaps? That is honestly the only thing I could think of LOL.

Oh that's so cool! Where I live vs to where you live, is a total environment clash. I live in Florida and we never get snow or cold whether. I honestly don't know what it feels like to be in Winter for people in other states.
A forbidden romance with Starless Night would be interesting :3 But its really Salt's decision. Though I'd totally be up for it.

Silver Frost- A beautiful silver-blue tabby she-cat with light gray tiger-like markings. The she-cat has white paws and a splash of white on chest. Her figure is lithe and she is long-legged. Like all of the tribe, her fur is thick and waterproof, but it is also glossy and shimmer in the sunlight. Her eyes are a stunning sky blue that have mystery and wisdom in their depths.

Herbs, how to gather them, and other medicines.
When Harvesting Plants
Make sure to leave something after you disturb the plants so they can continue to thrive and grow. Also, talk to the plants and tell them what you are gathering them for and your intentions. What will they be used for? The time of year is also important when gathering, as different parts are plants are stronger at certain times of the year and grow more abundantly. Just remember that when plants want to be picked they'll grow in abundance, and when they are scarce in an area search elsewhere instead of harvesting the few plants there.
Herbal Medicine: Herbs are an important part of the healing process. Here is a composed list of the herbs used by the shamans of The Tribe of Falling Snow.
Bog laurel- used for skin problems, particularly eruptions of the skin.
Twinflower- tied around the patient's head to cure headache. Parents also tie it around their child's head to ensure a long life.
Sweet gale- chewed into a poultice and applied to cuts and scrapes. It also can be used in skin problems.
Willow-

Heat scorched over the open tundra. The sun's radiant light beating down mercilessly onto the usually cool environment. The giant shape of a bear lay just on the shore's edge. The salty water lapping against its inanimate body in rhythmic movements. Large, birds of prey circled hungrily up above the carcass. Frail and dull with hunger. Small bugs also took their share of the dead animal. Two smaller shapes slowly made their way towards the giant, white creature. One of them bigger and older, while the other was much smaller and younger. The biggest of the two slowly signaled with his pale gray tail to stop. Staring blankly at the body. "It is a sign from the ancestors. They warn us of cursed times." The creatures voice was soft and croaky due to his old age. His pale, dulling, blue eyes giving away nothing as he looked over at his companion. This was one of the hardest seasons of beating sun the cats had experienced in moons. There'd never been a season like this since the elderly cat born. Cats of his Tribe as well of other animals had been dying left and right due to the change in environment. The smaller, pale gray tabby female dipped her head. She knew he was right, despite how much she didn't want it to be true. "What will happen Lightteller? What will happen to the Tribe? My herbs aren't used to growing in such environments..." She paused to look away, back at the deceased bear. "And what about poor, Frozen Glacier? She just had her kits. And the ancestors know she'll need help supporting her milk supply." Lightteller simply gave her a shake of his head, turning away from the carcass. The apathy clear in his aging face. "As a Shaman, I'd expect you to know these answers, Silver Feather. Whatever comes next is in the paws of the ancestors." Without another word, the elderly gray and white masculine padded away, leaving the Shaman, Silver Feather, staring after him in shock. How could he not care about the precious lives of their tribemates? What would become of their tribe if The Teller of Northern Lights, their leader, lost all faith in his tribe? Or if this heat only intensified rather than decrease as she was hoping? Would the place they called home die out? Or worse, would the cats she called her family die out?
----------
Welcome to the Tribe of Falling Snow. We are the cats of the Alaskan Tundras. Just a few moons ago, The Season of beating Sun finally arrived. But not in the conditions of which we hoped for. Cats are actually wishing the Season of Snow and Ice would actually return. The impact of the warmer seasons taking more advantage on our cats and prey than expected. We aren't used to this kind of environment. Nothing is used to this kind of environment. Everything is seeming to fall apart; water sources are dying as well as food, cats are dying, the number of herbs are running low. Nothing seems right anymore. Even our leader is falling apart. His old mind not seeming to care about any of us or our problems. And now a world shattering decision is to be made; leave and find new territory and stay and wait for better times to come.

So. This is the temporary plot as well as introduction. What do you guys think of it? Feel free to share or edit anything.

The cats of the Tribe of Falling Snow are naturally suited for their cold environment. Born with thick and glossy fur to keep them warm during the coldest of the days and to help them swim. Mostly coming in lighter colors to help them blend in with their mostly cold and icy surroundings. Whites and grays are a fairly common color to see these cats come in. Cats with black or dark ginger fur are considered a bad omen to the tribe. It is a myth that cats with black/ginger fur will die young. It is also common for the tribe cats to wear any kind of feather jewelry. Chieftains are known best to wearing headdresses and Shamans usually wear feathered headbands. Feathers play a big part of the Tribe's life due to many reasons. Though there are many other creative accessories the cats have came up with. These cats are considered the calmest and most collective creatures on the tundra out of the many other animals that they share it with. Smarter than the fox, stronger than any bear, quicker than any fish, and more prideful than any eagle. When there is trouble, they refuse to let it slow them down. They keep pushing forward until they achieve what is rightfully there's. They are the Tribe of Falling Snow. The rulers of the Alaskan Tundra.

Traditions
Telling of the Tales: Every half-moon, cats from the tribe gather around to watch the shaman tell an ancient tale or legend. It is a very exciting time, especially for kits and adolescents who are intrigued by every word along with the warriors. The elders will help tell the tale if they wish, or relax with the rest of the tribe. The stories normally include song and dance, along with colorful displays and audience interaction.
