Kafzel blinked at the kindness as he offered to pay for it but nodded, "I can pay for your tarot cards if you find any." he told him lightly. He kept the old cloak draped over his shoulders and tugged the hood back over his head before nodding once more, "I'd enjoy finding some incenses as well. Anise, cardamom, chamomile, lavender..." he trailed off in thought at each incense and it's necessity in his life at the moment.

Azazel replied shyly, glancing at Kaf as he led the way. 'And the witchcraft stalls always sell incense... you feeling stressed?' He curiously asked, recognising the scents and their associations.

Kafzel nodded lightly, "A lot has been going on. Just some worries. I need a clear mind." he told Azazel simply as he kept close to the other being. Their sleeves brushing now and then but no touch outside of that. "Some sage too, I've run out recently." he smiled lightly, letting Azazel know it was nothing serious. Just the worries of Lucifer and his past and his future on his mind.

(( Kinari/Unknown/Zale'mas/Outsider
Kinari is 5'6" and curvy, with full lips and a sloped jawline- a rounded chin and high cheekbones, beneath large, long lashed eyes always lined with kohl. Her skin is a rich, umber-black, like the deep undertones of the howling forest-trees on a full moon night. Her hair is thick with tightly twisting curls that she never brushes, often pushing it back and tying it with twine./ Kinari is a quietly friendly woman, who keeps to herself for the most part. She welcomes lost wanderers and unknowing visitors into her cottage, feeds them and allows them to rest, tells their fortunes if they wish it, offers them guidance, and then sends them on their way- her only constant companion is her cat, Dahl.
Chosen: Yes, Chaosa/Ancientblood: Yes, Chaosa/Elemental: No/Mage: No/Dragon: No/N/A/ Other: Kinari is known to the Howling Forest as the 'Wanderers Witch'- those lost, of in need of guidance, will always stumble across her shack. She is a Shadow Witch, and dabbles in dreamwork. Even Kinari does not know how old she is- she does not keep track of time or the years, and her body hasn't aged for a long time. Kinari is Bisexual./Bloodrose))

He sadly looked away. As a Diviner, and the highest ranking of them all, Azazel had taken on his role as a Guide- mainly dreamwalking. 'I used to be able to dreamwalk... help people see into their subconscious and solve their worries. Access the strings of fate.' His fingers brushed against the tapestry as he spoke of them, feeling the vibrations of life that only Diviners- and the rare ancient- could feel and see. 'I'm sorry I can't be of more use to you.' He arrived at the stand and began to calmly examine the items on the table, running his hand lightly over each tarot deck to get a feel of their energies.

(( Rusty! I'm now open to rp with you with the above posted character! x)) [ Cool, thanks! ] Cooper trotted along the edge of the city in his human form, running towards the forest. He was hoping whatever information he'd received was right, considering his main objective was to stop a werewolf onslaught. He came to a pause just as the farm came into view, using the canine senses he had in his human form he looked around for any signs of the wolves. But he noticed nothing. He scowled, running over to the woods. Typical. Another liar. He hated when things like that happened, especially since he never really had much trouble with people. At least, not until they figured out what he was. He came to a pause when he heard a twig snap. There weren't too many creatures in the forest that made that noise, it was too human. But sniffing around he couldn't see anything. There weren't any witches or werewolves in sight. He began walking away, a little more slowly this time.

Kinari hummed softly as she tended to her tea garden, carefully ensuring that each delicate plant was receiving enough nutrition. She cast her golden gaze upwards and lifted the hood of her cloak, sensing an approaching presence. Smiling lightly, she crouched again and continued to tend to the plants, carefully trimming off the leaves and placing them into her basket. She then stood and headed down her garden path to her front door, opening it and leaving it ajar for her visitor should he decide to visit.
She set aside the basket and opened a wooden chest filled with small bowls of the different teas. Taking the basket into her hands again, she began to heedfully place each sprig of leaf into its respective bowl- once finished, she closed the chest lid and moved to the fireplace to stoke it, gently stroking her Familiar- Truffle's- head. The white cat butted her hand with his head, then gazed towards the open door.

Of course, Cooper had no idea what he was walking into. But after clearing away a few branches, he spotted the house. It wasn't what he expected, but then again, what could you expect in these woods? He began walking towards it, noticing the door was open. He stopped, drawing in a deep breath. Was he ready for this? What was he walking into? His rational mind was fighting against him but soon curiosity won him over.
And besides, he could always just use the earth beneath the floorboards to knock the inhabitants over.. He stepped through the threshold, calling into the home before his eyes adjusted. "Hello?" Then he spotted the woman and her cat and blushed, "Oh, I'm sorry.. Ah, door was open, so I just kind of assumed.." He trailed off, realizing what she could be. A witch, of course! She'd be casting spells at him for trespassing at any moment! He cleared his throat, putting his hands behind his back as he bounced on the balls of his feet. "I should probably be going now.."

'Hello.' Was the real response, as she cast her golden eyes upon him and offered a light smile. 'You can stay a while if you wish- I can boil a pot of tea.' She tugged down her hood and hung up her cloak on a hook, before sinking to her knees onto a floor pillow- a low-set table before her, with a few black tea cups; a kettle was boiling gently on the fireplace. 'I'm Kinari... and you are, young wolf?'

Cooper's eyes widened as she said 'young wolf'. He didn't know anybody personally who could tell you were a werewolf by just looking at you. He smiled weakly, then frowned again. He found the back of his neck and rubbed it lightly, looking down at the floor. "I guess a few minutes couldn't hurt.." He murmured before stepping in completely, wandering over to the table and kneeling. "I'm Cooper, at least, that's the name people call me by.. Never really had an official one." He said, looking around the shack.
He flinched slightly as he spotted the cat. It wasn't the stereotypical problem with his being canine and the cat being, well, a cat. He'd had some bad run ins with the creatures.. Cooper cleared his throat again, looking back to Kinari. He quickly looked down at the table again, finding those eyes quite unsettling. "How did you know I was a werewolf?" He asked her.

Though when told dreams he could skillfully and easily interpret the vision. But, diving into another's mind and thoughts, Kafzel had never fully grasped the concept. Now as they entered the shop the Diviner felt a slight sense of calm overwhelm him. Moving away from Azazel now he drifted towards the warm scents of incense and herbs that reached him. He knew each by smell alone and sighed lightly as he walked along the length of the table. His fingers stretched out to brush the herbs gently. As they fell to his list he plucked himself half-handfuls, enough to burn for a week or two but not too much. After bundling them all together and paying for the herbs he went back to Azazel, "Did you find a deck you liked?"

She took the kettle from the crackling fireplace as it boiled and began to whistle softly. Slowly and carefully, she poured two cups of tea. 'Truffle, could you please go and fetch me the milk flash and sugar sack?' She said lightly. The cat stood and wandered politely away, before coming first back with the milk flask clamped between his teeth. She took it and petted him as thanks, pouring a few drops into her cup, before taking the sugar as that was also presented by the pretty white tabby. 'Thankyou, Truffle.' She looked up at the werewolf. 'Do you take milk, or sugar?' She asked, offering the sack and the flask. Truffle watched the Lucan through icy blue eyes, blinking slowly at him as a sign of general friendly affection, his tail tucked neatly over petite paws.

His hand paused- he trusted his bodies trance-like state, and opened his eyes to gaze down at a purple box. He took it and opened it to examine the cards. Dark purple, engraved with gold depictions of each card and their names- each drawing was intricate and elegant. He smiled lightly and put them back in the box. 'I've found a deck.'

He said, taking the small sack and putting a noticeably small amount. He didn't really like things too sweet at times, at least unless he felt the need to calm him down. The eyes. Of course it was his eyes. He'd noticed it in his wolf form, the same ones as he had as a human. He smirked down at his tea, taking a small sip. "So, why do you live out here?" He asked. The cat obviously gave it away, being her familiar. And Cooper already had a hunch of who she was. But it wouldn't do to ask her directly if she was a witch. Even wolves had manners. "Just wondering because I've never really.. Well, noticed this shack before."

'Those who wander and have lost their way find my shack.' She calmly replied. 'And only those. You cannot find me by looking for me.' She smiled up at him warmly. 'I'm the Wanderers Witch... at least, that's what your kind calls me. Your kind allured me- I was drawn here by the strength of the forest, and you were all a bonus.' She sipped at her tea, watching Truffle playfully bat at a piece of hay on the wooden floor. 'What troubles you, then?' She asked, glancing up at him. 'I aim to give guidance to all who find me.'

Cooper looked down at his tea. He was definitely lost. There were many things he was troubled about. He didn't have a pack to call his own and lived his life protecting livestock from hungry wolves. And it really showed, as he was hated by many. He sighed, eyes shutting for a moment as he spoke. "I'm alone.. It never really affected me then, but.." He began to speak again but found himself at a loss for words. Instead he just stared at the cat pawing at hay. "I was supposed to stop an attack on a farm earlier, but I'm not even sure it was planned in the first place.. If it was, then I'm a failure." He looked at the flames, then to those eery golden eyes. 'Why are you supposed to do anything?' She questioned, lifting her cup to sip from it, watching as Truffle attempted to kill the villainous hay. 'You are a werewolf. It is rare for you to even be allowed out of the forest, never mind the fact that you are assisting the people whom hate and fear your kind with ever fibre of their being.' She looked up at him calmly, and took another sip. 'That farm is not your responsibility, young wolf. You should be protecting your own kind from the slaughter of the humans beyond the forest- and from the beasts within it. I'm surprised you all are still alive with everything that is out actively to kill you.'

'A powerful statement from a loner whom cavorts with those that kill his kind, yet hate him anyways.' She leisurely responded, picking up a plate of biscuits and offering him it, taking one for herself to nibble on. 'Your distrust and anxieties lie deep within your soul, young one- the other werewolves do not despise you... you despise yourself.' She lifted her gaze to him and took hold of her tarot deck, slowly shuffling it, before she laid out three cards on the table.

Cooper didn't take a biscuit, instead he listened carefully. "The last time I tried talking to one of them they almost killed me," he said quickly in utter disbelief. "I was in my wolf form and everything!" He folded his arms, looking down at the ground impatiently up until she took out the deck of tarot cards. "What are those?" He asked slowly. 'Werewolves are territorial and hostile.' She replied, amused. 'Most confrontations begin with a fight.' She smiled at his question. 'The first card is your fate if you continue down your path. The second card is advice. The third card represents your path if you follow that advice. Would you like to know, or would you prefer to rest here and leave at morning?'

This signifies defeat- back stabbing and betrayal. Continue down your path, and you will find you are killed by one of your own kind.' She looked up at him, then turned over the next card. 'Your advice... the three of cups. To change your fate, you must find friendship and community- and happiness with them.' Finally, she slid her fingers to the last card, and turned it over. 'Your path should you change your fate; the four of wands. This card represents community, home, and celebration... you'll find yourself in a happy community, feeling like you belong.' She explained, before sitting back to look at him. 'It is, of course, up to you if you take the advice or not.'

"How do I know they won't just kill me on the spot?" He sighed heavily, staring down at the cards. He genuinely couldn't believe what he'd just been told. Continue on, he gets betrayed. Change, he finds a nice and loving community. He looked over at the cat for some time, "I'm obviously going to take the advice.." He murmured at last, glancing over at the cards for a moment.

She shrugged. 'Nothing is set in stone, little one.' She pulled the cards back into her deck and set it aside, politely thanking it. 'And I cannot answer your question. I know only what the deck has told me.' She pulled the cat into her lap and began to gently pet his ears. 'There is a bed in the corner if you wish to rest now. You will find you have pleasant dreams, and perhaps you will wake to answers.'

Cooper nodded slowly, "Alright.. I guess it couldn't hurt to lay down for a few moments.." He said. He walked over to the bed that was described, lying down in it, facing the wall. It didn't take too long for him to fall asleep, however. When he would awaken, he'd find himself back in the wilderness, in a dawn-lit clearing. The scent of werewolf- and the tangy smell of blood- was strong in the air, and there was soft movement and noise nearby. Is everyone okay? Did the Beta leave with it? Traitor. came an angry voice. We can't stay here, it might come back- if we couldn't fight it that time, we can't now.Rustling was heard coming closer as something four legged and very large approached, along with the clear sounds of a pack behind it.
