Sure, go right ahead. To help with my own set up, let me know in or out of rp what the beast is and what sort of territory it would live in. That should help me to not contradict anything that you want to set up. Also, if you want to PM somebody, just click on the link that says "Send PM" underneath the user's avatar image. You can also send PMs from a user's page, though it says "Send Message" instead of PM)

(Dude thanks. 😂 I can't believe I didn't know that.
I was thinking maybe some sort of fallen angel/demon/half goat thing that lives in the woods? I know there's a word for what I'm thinking of but eh, oh well. I'll get you a starter momentarily)

It had been snowing for three straight days.
There were two things Avi hated: snow, and humans, which the snow forced him to interact with. They were never kind because Avi had never been able to conceal the horns on his head, or his constantly-twitching tail. He lived in a vicious cycle and at the end of it someone was always dead at his hands, so Avi couldn't decide which he hated more: snow, or the humans. Sixes.
During the winter he always had some sort of work to do. Avi was good with animals, just not so much with people. It seemed they had a low tolerance for physical abnormalities, even though Avi looked exactly like them. Mostly. And even that depended on his mood. He absolutely could not go into town angry or someone would be eaten by a snarling monster. And he absolutely had to leave town when, inevitably, someone made him angry. In recent years Avi's lack of self control had proven to be quite an issue.
It was trudging back into the forest through the nasty, cold ocean and leaving a trail of blood—not his own—behind in the untainted white that Avi sat down to think. He didn't have what he needed. Five minutes spent looking for matches, of all things, had ended in disaster. It didn't help to have ears like a hawk when people constantly made fun of you. Did they deserve to die? Hardly. Could confused, irritable Avi, huddled in the snow beneath a pine do anything to stop himself? No.

Ack sorry I was away so long. We just moved and I've been looking for a job)
Blair had spent the better half of the day preparing for this. A bag of supplies incase the beast made it farther than he expected, quiver loaded with arrows, bow and blade cleaned and ready for use, and the vial of blessed water on his belt in case of emergency. He hadn't hunted many beasts like this one. The typical werewolf or banshee were far more common. He hadn't been able to properly identify this one. He'd have to wait until he got there. No one could give any description, mostly because the dead don't talk, and those who barely survived the ordeal wouldn't be in any condition for an interrogation for a long time. By then, the beast would be long gone.
Now, carrying his equipment on his back and belt, and a leash in one hand, he stood rooted as the hound at the end of the lead began to pull. It had found something to follow. The snow had covered the beasts tracks, and its scent would be weak at best, but until he got closer, he'd have to follow the hound's instinct. The hound gave a small whine of excitement, to which Blair replied with a sharp "hush". The hound silenced and continued pulling, leading him away from the sight of the attack, toward the treeline.

(No worries, I hope the move is going well.)
Hearing a dog whine in the distance, which, for Avi, could have been anywhere within a mile or so, he lifted his head and surveyed the darkening forest. It was probably nothing. People let their animals run out this way all the time, and he'd made friends with some of the regulars. Dogs and cats were Avi's favourite. They were all so soft and didn't look at him like some sort of freak. Still, something didn't sit right with him, but he didn't rise from his spot beneath the pine. This feeling--the humans called it guilt, but he called it annoying--left Avi feeling too sorry for himself to do much of anything.
When he heard another sound carried in by the wind, this one a little more human than the dog, Avi's stomach really started to turn. Was someone looking for him? Why? Most people did their best to stay away. And he didn't know anyone from the human world. Well, he had, at one point, but they were all dead by now. And yet Avi remained beneath the tree until the hunter moved into view. By then he was certain this person was after him, and scrambled into the pine's branches, forked tail twitching nervously.

(The move's all done. I'm taking my classes online now, and the job i just applied for is full time. I just hope I have enough time to make all this work out)
The dog continued to pull at the leash as Blair followed it through the trees, but he didn't dare loose it. He didn't want the dog to be any part of the hunt except tracking. He didn't trust it to not jump at the beast, which was bad for two reasons. The dog lwouldn't last long in a fight, and it would alarm the beast. No, he didn't want anything to happen to it. As the dog whined at the sight of the target, Blair followed it's gaze with a frown. He wasn't able to see through the branches, but if he dog was sure it was there, he'd trust it. He reached down and unhooked the leash from the dog's collar, snapping his fingers on his other hand and pointing back the way they'd came. The dog whined again, and Blair repeated the gesture before it took off running through the woods. Once he was sure it was gone, he turned back toward the tree and drew his bow. He nocked an arrow and kept his gaze on the branches for any movement, waiting.

(No kidding. Seems like there aren't enough hours in the day. What kind of job did you apply for?)
Avi watched the dog run off, then turned his gaze to the hunter, scrutinizing the bow in his hand. He supposed something like this was bound to happen. Nobody got away with killing humans, monster or otherwise. Karma, maybe? No. He didn't believe in that nonsense.
Soon enough Avi would have to come down. He wasn't immortal and got tired like everyone else. The hunter didn't seem like someone to back down from a fight, either. They'd be here a very, very long time. It seemed as though his best option was making the first move, so Avi came down from the tree, tail swinging wildly to and fro. Maybe he would try something new, try talking his way out of this one. Avi knew he wasn't exactly charming, but it was worth a try, and the demon—devil, goat, whatever he was—didn't fancy getting shot. "Put down the bow," Avi said in his rich, deep tone. Probably not the best idea. His voice in itself was monstrous.

(Designing Signs. I'm a 2D/3D artist)
At the sight of movement, Blair pulled the string back, aiming the arrow at the beast. He watched with narrowed eyes as it came down the tree, but he was unable to hide his surprise when it... he? spoke. He remained poised, watching the beast. He had no intention of lowering his weapon, he had no trust for the creature. On other hunts, many monsters had tried to bribe and scheme their way out of a fight. He'd found that beasts who bargained only went back to terrorizing. "I will not." He replied sharply, fixing his grip on the bow. "Whatever you have to say, spit it out. You won't have a second chance for final words."

(Ohhhh, that makes sense. If you drew your avatar, that's awesome. I was admiring it earlier. xD)
"It sounds like you plan to kill me anyway. Why bother?" Avi asked. He didn't want to come any closer. From this distance, he could maintain the illusion, and keep from intimidating the hunter. He knew the game was over if the man got scared. Standing nearly eight feet tall, built mostly of muscle, the demon intimidated most everyone he came into contact with. His words had to be chosen carefully. One wrong inflection, and people went running in fear. "Turn back now. This won't end well for you." He was tired of killing, tired of being angry, unpredictable. There might as well have been blood on his hands already. He knew how this standoff was going to go, and it wasn't looking good.

(Oh, that's Vexere. She's a Coatl I use for Dungeon and Dragons stories I DM a lot for my group. But yes, I drew her. I like using my art as avatars since I like putting my characters there. :3) "You wouldn't be the first to say so." Blair replied. We'll just have to see if you're the last... He wasn't going to let himself be talked down from dealing with the beast. Even if the bounty wasn't entirely worth it, it gave him some peace of mind to know that if he succeeded the beast wouldn't be able to hurt anyone else like he had only a short time ago. He adjusted his aim slightly before releasing the string, firing the arrow and quickly reaching for another from the quiver on his hip. One arrow was almost never enough to down any beast.

(Dude, me too. But I can't draw so I have to use my photos. Anyway, she's beautiful.) Avi was too large and clumsy to dodge the shot, and the arrow met his shoulder. It took him a moment to realize what had just happened, but when he did, Avi wasn't in the mood to talk anymore. The beast--was that the term the hunter had used?--lunged for his assailant, covering the distance between them in a matter of seconds. He didn't bother to think. He never bothered to think. That was the reason he'd found himself in this mess, but now all he could see was red. It was too late to turn back now. If the hunter wanted blood, he'd get it--just not from Avi.

(Hehe :3 Thank you~)
Blair barely had enough time to get the next arrow fully pulled back before the beast was too close to fire upon again. He instead let the arrow fall away and he swung the bow at the creature to force it back a bit. He wanted to avoid being struck in case his wielding arm was injured. He moved back a few steps, pulling the blade from the sheath on his belt. He watched the beast for his next move.
