Question (forgive me if it's a stupid one): How many pantheons of gods do you guys believe exist? All of them? Like, including more obscure ones like minor Polynesian, Cherokee, etc. ones? And what are y'alls thoughts on the Hindu gods?

No that's not a stupid question, it's one I hear a lot.
Personally I believe all Gods exist in some form or another, as long as there are people willing to believe in them or follow them, so yes. All Gods exist. I don't know too much about the Hindu Gods specifically though, but I do have a good friend who is Hindu, so I might ask him about them and get back to you on that.
I do have a personal theory that not all Gods are actually Gods, though, and some may be imposters or lying to people to get their way, or that some Gods are just evil and have their own agendas that are less-than-ideal for humans, as a whole. Satan/Lucifer would be a prime example of that. Though most pagans don't believe in the devil and demons, I still do. Maybe because I was raised christian to begin with, but I have my own stories I could tell to be "proof" of them existing. So that's enough for me.

Leapkit I'm with you on being scientifically curious about the gods. I'm generally scientifically curious about everything "preternatural", including ghosts, demons, etc. I'm also with Ghost on them being separate. In Greek mythology, she is said to have been born from the sea after Ouranous attempted to, ahem, take Gaia and spilled his... stuff into the sea on accident. Another form of that myth is Aphrodite being born from Ouranous's "part" after Zeus dismembered him and threw the pieces of his body into the ocean. In Greek mythology we know her, Venus, to be spiteful and quick to act but in Roman mythology she is calm and 'watery', quite a bit more feminine than Aphrodite. There also isn't much about her birth in Roman mythology. So yes, to me they are different but related.

Splintercat This is actually something I first talk about when I am explaining my religion to people. I'm absolutely with Leapkit on this - all gods exist, as long as they have someone to believe in them. However, I'm not quite so sure about impostors, but that's okay because we all take paganism differently. For me I believe in ancient spirits, such as Quetzalcoatl. They aren't necessarily gods but they definitely aren't human, either. Quetzalcoatl is something more than that with definitive magick in and around him - to me his existence began many eons ago when he was born into this world. By what means he was born and who his parents were to give him this magick, I do not know. But to me he is an ancient one and always will be.
Along with Leapkit, I don't know much about the Hindu gods. However, I have quite a few Hindu goddesses in my goddess tarot deck so I guess you could say I partially work with them.

Splintercat i believe that all gods exist especially if there are people to believe in them. even then if people dont currently they exist because people once did. i dont know about impostors but i do know that belief can give power so if someone believes then that being is given power and so i believe thats what makes them exist. it all boils down to belief for me

It's a gore/horror/psychological horror anime about some kids dealing with a curse from a demon/god around a festival in a very peculiar town that said demon/god watches over.
It's really good, but kind of bizarre.
EDIT: If you want to watch it's easier to find under it's Japanese title Hirugashi no Naku Koro ni. There's also spinoffs.

Whenever my train of thought steers toward religion, I find that I almost always think about things similar to paganism (at least that's what I'm gathering from what I've learned so far). Maybe this could be my religion after all o3o

Maybe! It's always good to explore what religions are out there, if for no other reason than to find out what you want or don't want it to be for you. It's good to learn. What general variety of paganism interests you most? Or do you think you're a bit mix-and-match like the rest of us?
