Ah, cool! Do you remember the name of the book? I'd love to learn more. *looks at monster bookshelf* Uhhhh, I can try and find it. *sweats* If I don't come back in five minutes, they all fell down on my and I'm probably dead. XD No, I don't remember the name. Actually, I have no idea where it is right now. But I'll try and remember to post the title when I find it. Okay.

yukinosoraI actually know of a great website where it lets you see your birth chart, and it provides information on the different signs, such as zodiac, planetary, Chinese, etc... If you're interested, I can give you the link.

Movies I was considering:
Casper (PG) Who doesn't love the friendly ghost?
Hocus Pocus (PG) Not an accurate or nice representation of witches, but a fun movie anyway.
Moana (PG) Because it talks about Polynesian lore and gods.
Beowulf (PG-13) for being a really great portrayal of the old legend.
How to Train your Dragon (PG) For all of it's cool viking lore references and being a good movie in general.
The Last Keepers (PG-13) I haven't seen it but it's apparently a very accurate movie portrayal and a rare one that shows pagans as they are from a moral, loving, family-values standpoint like lots of Christian oriented movies do. I'm totally down for that.
Braveheart (R) A good film about the Celts against the English suppression of their way of life. Idk if I really want to show it though considering it's rating. I've never seen it other than little bits and pieces.
Sabrina the Teenage Witch (G) I don't think I ever saw the movie but I loved the TV show.
Kiki's Delivery Service (G) Who doesn't love some Ghibli magic yo? Other Ghibli movies are for sure also on the table here.
Ghostbusters (PG-13) I couldn't help myself.

I kind of want to see Hocus Pocus and HtTYD again, if only for nostalgic reasons. XD I can't remember if I ever saw Kiki in its entirety, but I do remember the beginning and it seems like a cute film in general. The Last Keepers seems interesting too.

Chinese elements often overlay your (Chinese and star) zodiac sign. So these are just general definitions of each element. If you want more specific, you'll have to know your year and month of birth and look up what sign and element you are.
Metal: Considered, in temperament, to be just below Fire, those who are born under the element of Metal (sometimes called Gold) are often strong-willed to the point of being stubborn and hard-headed. They are persistent and unwilling to give in. They often are straightforward and competitive, even if they only compete against past goals. They have unshakable principles and goals. The feelings they have and show are strong and intense. They dislike lies, dishonesty, and betrayal. Can often appear unfeeling. Their greatest strengths are in their loyalty and belief in themselves and anyone they have befriended.
Water: Fluid in both mind and thought, those born under the Water element are often changing and adjusting to their surroundings. They are often seen as role models and puzzle solvers. They have a mind that can think about great problems and find new solutions. They can often see other peoples points of view and step into their shoes. They dislike conflict and are very empathetic. Greatest strengths would be their ability to adjust to situations and that they can get along with different types of people.
Wood: Outwardly peaceful and kind, those born under the sign of Wood are unwilling to hurt others and will work with a group or alone if it benefits the whole. They are more brittle than the other elements and when they are hit, they are hit hard. Those with the element of Wood can rise to higher positions within a group depending on their personality as a whole. Ingenuity and mental abilities are their strength and they will often have good ideas to help themselves and friends/family along. They dislike pain, both inflicted on themselves and others. They put themselves second far to often and will take the brunt of damage for others. Their greatest strength is their loyalty and kindness. They often make true friends.
Fire: Hot-headed and often quick tempered, those born under the element of Fire are attention grabbers and flashy. They create their own problems, but have the strength and energy to repair any damage they cause. They are a force to be reckoned with and if you are one or have one on your side then you are likely to succeed in any project. They are energetic and bold, sometimes with a flare for the dramatic. The goals they set are the ones they make.
Earth: Those with the element of Earth are practical and level-headed. They are steady and walk through life on a straight path. They are often successful and dependable. They plan ahead and make goals by planning out each step. Those with the element of Earth often have good judgement and are aware of the limitations they have. Their strengths are their dependable nature and how, sooner or later, they get things done.

I've been curious about this for a while - is Mint Chinese? :') My, my. What I miss while I'm typing. Nope! I'm not, as far as I know. Could very likely have some Chinese in my background, but I wouldn't quote me on that. If I'm anything other than a mix of backgrounds, it would be German. I'm slightly interested in how you got that impression, though. :3 My family has had an interest in the Chinese Zodiac and elements for a long time yet they still wont take that trip to China...sighhhhhh.

I loved reading about the elements! I consider myself an earth practitioner, considering crystals is my main form of practicing magic, but I've always felt a deep, intrinsic tie to the earth - in particular my country. You only need to look at my room to see! It's filled with things I find - lots of rocks, a jar of sand, acorns, some pinecones, gumnuts and interesting sticks and seed pods I find.
My astrological sign is Leo, which is fire, though I don't always feel so fiery, and my spirit animal is an eagle, so that covers air. I dispose water, though. I hate getting wet if it's not intentional.
Oh, my Chinese zodiac is the rabbit, but I'm not sure what that symbolises.

Practice with all of them and see what you like more, or just look at the traits and think about which characteristics you share more with said element. Maybe even look at your astrological zodiac's element. Druids are pretty known for Earth magic though. Using a lot of trees and plants and that sort of thing. Well, that is one of the Chinese elements. Theirs are Fire, Water, Wood, Metal, and Earth. Don't know the differences between those though. But my Chinese zodiac is Earth Tiger, my Astrological is Gemini-Cancer which is Air and Water, and also the cusp of magic so debatably Spirit, yet my spirit animal is a phoenix, which is obviously Fire. So I'm kind of all at once? It's a good mix. Idk. I don't consider myself to have a connection with one over another, but I do enjoy electricity the most. My astrological sign is Scorpio, which is water. You mentioned druids being more associated with earth so....earth. My Chinese zodiac animal is a dragon. I don't know what my spirit animal is but eh.... Please stand back, because you shall all regret letting me near my Chinese Zodiac book: Earth Tiger cross-referenced with Gemini/Cancer: Realistic, steady, responsible, always moving and hungry for new information and things, witty, smart, easily bored, needs stable relationships and a secure home. Earth Tiger cross-referenced with Ares (I can do Pisces as well?) : Realistic, steady, responsible, active, caring and heroic, but often overwhelmed. Metal Dragon cross-referenced with Scorpio: Born leader, honest, inflexible, strong personality. You have deep, intense emotions and put everything you have into what you do.
