Staring at herself in the mirror, she wondered if she'd ever be pretty. Of course, she looked like a proper woman with a beautiful dress, exquisite jewelry and makeup, her red hair pulled up in an updo. But she was muscular, her skin was tanner than most women's skin tone, and she was much taller than most women around here. As Black Jack Jones, she struck fear into the hearts of her opponents. But when she returned to herself, when she tucked the character away, she couldn't help but be insecure. Timidly walking out, she stood silently beside Jeremiah, her anger temporarily forgotten. "I don't know if I've told you my real name, but you'll need to know it now. My name is Jacqueline Kensington, daughter of the late Fleet Admiral Jackson Kensington. We are going to speak to a man in the Royal Navy to inform him of thr kidnapped princess, understand?"

Ambrose pursed his lips, dragging one of his wings forward to pick at the loose feathers. "Well, you better hope that the message gets there before they come after us," he pointed out, wary of this plan. If they got caught it would be quite awful, and he wasn't sure where he'd end up, if they didn't behead him first. "Do you need me for anything, cap?"

Mitzi grinned. Ah, that was a great way to start the day. "I don't think I tell you this enough, Charlie, but you are truly elegant. One day you should teach me. Perhaps then, the could would find me sea-mly. Get it?" Besides finding great enjoyment from Charles falling on his ass, the more interesting point was probably how a crate spontaneously decided to vacate the premises. At least, for a moment, because as she stepped over and squatted down, the crate bubbled back up to the surface. "Hey Charlie, you should say hello to the fishes. Maybe like, stick a hand in even!"

Jeremiah paused, his breath catching slightly as he examined her. "Ah...of course...m'lady." He smirked as he added the last part mockingly.

Smiling at his teasing, she softly shoved him away and said, "Don't get used to it Jeremiah or I'll have to cut your tongue off." And here returned the frightening woman her crew knew so well.

[ the most underwhelming-looking crew lol look they have 2 seem...innocent...just a casual vessel ]
Charles sucked in a breath and closed his eyes, truly trying his best not to jump up and throw Mitzi into the water himself after a pun like that. "Now is not the time to be joking!" he insisted before scrambling to his feet, brushing himself off and turning to look at the water. How DID the crate end up in the water? A part of him assumed it was probably his lovely captain pulling a really crappy joke. He swore under his breath and punched Mitzi in the arm. "No!! How about I cut your hand off and you can be the one to wave. Help me get it back."

He sniggered quietly, before looking out towards the town. "I'm not entirely sure I'll be made welcome in clothes like this. A man of my complexion is rarely seen in this finery." He tugged at the collar of his shirt, before looking at her.

"Nonsense. Anyone who even looks at you funny will never even anything else." She said before grabbing his hand in an attempt to comfort him, but she pulled her hand away and made a funny face before saying quickly, "Now hold your head high, Jeremiah, we're to look important."

lol I love everything ) Roy smiled when Jacqueline walked out. He didn't dare whistle though. Roy learned that the hard way when she ended up beating him up. "Shall we get going"? He asked feeling excited and little nervous. This was a bit dangerous honestly.

"Follow me boys," she smirked, taking both of their arms as she walked down the plank and onto the dock. "Now if you were a Commodore, where would you be right now?" She asked both men, her eyes studying the surrounding docks for any sign of a certain ship she had heard had docked here two days ago.

Ceto found a rusted iron rod, probably having been knocked from the deck of one of the many ships that frequented this harbor. She carefully picked it up and turned it over in her hands for a moment before twisting around and swimming back up towards where the crate bobbed on the surface. Reached out, she gripped the bottom of it and began to drag it under once more, the end of her tail just breaking the surface before she pulled it under once more. Once safely below the waves, she set to work prying the crate open and, after a little trouble, she managed to break inside and was rewarded with a crate filled with those rather hard biscuits that those who sailed seemed to live upon. But they weren't half bad when softened slightly by the salt water and she began to gnaw on one happily, letting the broken crate and its contents bob to the surface once more. As she finished the first, she followed it up and plucked another from where it floated, nothing more than a pale blur beneath the water.

"If I were a commodore...I'd be keeping an eye on everything my crew does." He said, before following her gaze across the docks. "If you're looking for the navy ship, I believe it is that one." He said, raising his hand and pointing.

"Probably near a navy ship or hanging around rich people." Roy guessed with a shrug of his shoulders.

Mitzi rolled her eyes. "Always leaving the tough work to me! What do you expect me to do with a merperson, huh?" She stood up once more, narrowed gaze focusing on the water. It wasn't difficult to miss the, albeit nondescript, form of something below the water. Honestly, jumping in in the hopes of frightening off one, possibly lost, merperson almost sounded like an easy idea. Except for the fact that merpeople tended to be very aggressive, and keen on preventing people from breathing. Marietta wasn't about to die so easily. "It's not like we need that anyways, we're here to pick up more. Just let the fish keep it, and let's get going."
