{so my sort of out there idea was, the bullet didn't go through her head, but instead hit her eye, which would be enough pain to knock someone unconscious. They probably wouldn't be able to detect much breathing either unless they watched carefully which I'm sure they wouldn't do. Since they threw her body overboard, she can possibly land on her back so she's not drowning. After a little while, a Navy ship passes by the area, the King's Ranger I would assume, to take Lance back (or if he's already back and their just passing through and the Triton's Bane is gone idk) and they haul her on board seeing her uniform and decide to give her a burial since I would assume Lance would want to give her one next time they get to land. But obviously a doctor will notice she's still alive, they patch her up and give her an eyepatch and then yeah I guess we go from there. Yeah I know, it's pretty out there, but idk, ideas |

(Nah mean this is a rp with fantasy elements. Also Triton's Bane is also maybe or maybe in or near the Forbidden Sea and that could have some weird properties but mmmm)

She felt the gunshot alright, who wouldn't have when it took someone's eye out leaving a bloodied gash in its wake. No, it wasn't even a gash. It was worse than that. A bullet didn't graze her but hit her eye and then turned left after hitting the bone that connected the forehead and nose, falling into the sea. Although, to everyone it looked like she was dead. Hell, Arabella even thought she was dead. She had good reason to though, the pain was enough to make her unconscious as her eye bled profusely for a good few minutes before the dried blood where her eye used to be had seemed to stop most of the bleeding. Her eye looked even worse now with all of it uncared for, but Arabella wouldn't notice. She would only notice if she actually woke up from nearly dead state or was brought to medical attention. Whichever came first. If any came first that is. |

The King's Ranger had come across Arabella floating in the sea and pulls her up. Erza shakes his head slowly. Officer Taylor had been someone he had been watching and had expected great things from her. Shame that good people had to die. However when the doctor walked over and looked at Arabella he looked back at his admiral. "Sir this will sound mad but she is still breathing! There is hope for her!"

Nearly the whole ship had heard of the things that had happened to Officer Tribune and Officer Taylor aboard the Tritons Bane. It was hard for it to stay confidential for long, as something like that doesn't happen often, although no one said anything to Lance, assuming he wanted his space. And while Officer Kovács wasn't one to intrude, Lance had to know about his friend. "Officer Tribune!" He pounder on the door to his room, "it's Officer Taylor! She's on deck!" He said with urgency in his tone. He saw her already, and it didn't look good. In his opinion, she looked quite grotesque with the flesh, blood, and tissue of where her eye was supposed to be and the marks around it where everyone knew there would be scarring. |

Lance had been in a weird place when the banging snapping out of his thoughts. He heard Arabella's name and gets to his feet. Lance followed Officer Kovács to the main desk and winces. He could feel bile rise in his throat.
"Dude she is alive"! Officer Shadows exclaimed still surprised by all of this. A couple of others nodded their heads. The doctor was examining her eye and thinking about ways to fix this.
Lance stood there frozen.

Officer Kovács continued to stand by Lance, but had to talk to him all the same. Things like this never happened. There have been Naval Officers who wore eye patches, but never has their eye been shot out. He couldn't imagine how that must have felt. "Did they intentionally shoot her eye?" He asked, quite unsure if he wanted the answer to that. |

Lance slowly shakes his head. "All I saw was they aimed for her head." He breathed taking a small step back. Lance was feeling a bit dirty and felt the world spin.
The doctor gets some men to carry her to the infirmary wing. He would do all he could for her.

Lance slowly moved to the infirmary and walked to her bed. This all felt like some weird dream or fairy tale. What should he say to her? He settles down next to her cot and waits.

 Arabella had not felt anything from the surgeries they preformed or the commotion she had caused. Everything was dream really, she was asleep the whole time, how could anything be real? But soon she was brought back to reality, and it took her a while to even get her thoughts in order. Was this heaven? Sleeping on a cot in what looked like the infirmary of the King's Ranger didn't sound like a very appealing heaven. She moved her hand and gently touched her cheek, not having realized Lance was next to her, almost to check if she was really herself. She moved her hand up farther, and soon felt something covering her eye. It was an eyepatch. Her eyes went wide and she shot up in bed, terrified of what was going on or what happened, or how she got like this. What words were there to explain it? She turned her head to see Lance for the first time and her eye widened. What was he doing here, and what was here. "What...when did I- when did you..." Her breath was coming fast, almost in a hyperventilating sort of way but she didn't let it go that far. |

Lance placed his hand on her shoulder. "Easy, lay back down. You are in the infirmary getting treated. Seems that pirate had a awful shot." He said a little bit of humor in his voice. Lance waited a moment before suddenly hugging her. This was odd for him considering that he didn't hug people normally.

Relax, that wasn't happening not when she was missing an eye or it was bad enough to wear she had to cover it up. But she felt a little calmer when Lance brought her into hug, something he hadn't done before for her. She didn't hug him back for a moment, still dumbstruck with, well, everything. "How..." she whispered in a nearly inaudible tone as she embraced him. "Lance, can you please get me a mirror?" She asked in a very soft, timid tone, afraid of what she might see, but knew she needed to. Even though she probably wasn't ready for what she was about to see. |

Arabella took in a shaky breath before taking the mirror from Lance and giving him an almost silent thank you. She studied herself in the mirror before she decided to lift the eyepatch though. But she was terrible to look at as it is. She always thought she has been. But why not throw this into the mix. She slowly over her hand up to the eye patch, lifting it up carefully but soon she just flipped it up quickly, not wanting to wait any longer.
Arabella stared in shock at herself for what felt like ages. Her face was pale, she felt cold, and her brows were upturned in a vulnerable sort of way. It was disgusting, truly horrendous to look at. She flipped her eyepatch back down again and reared her arm back, obviously mad now and threw it across the room in such a way that caused the mirror to shatter when it hits the wall. "Why didn't he just kill me!" |
