Hi there!! I am new to these forums, but I was on the original ones for years. I have a lot of roleplaying behind me, but I've always like off-topic the most. I generally like anything to do with romance but with a twist. If you have any ideas let me know, I'd love to rp!!

{Since I'm into power RPs right now and kinda already have a character for one, do you want to do that? If not, what's your starter about?}

I'm not the best at power rps, but honestly if you'd want to do that, I could make it work. It could kind've be something like star-crossed lovers or something like that? Your character could have powers but mine doesnt?

{That could work! Maybe mine keeps his powers hidden from yours until he accidentally reveals them?}

Moving to another country while completely alone was something Olivia had always dreamed of doing. However, she never expected it to happen at the ripe age of 18. She had finally worked up the courage and the money to move all the way from her small hometown in England, to the Big Apple.
She hadnβt come for more education, she simply came to explore. Olivia had no place to stay, which meant she generally would hit up bars and find someone willing enough to let her stay the night. After two weeks, she began to realize how unsafe it was. Those she stayed with always thought she was asking for more than just some shelter. Because somehow, finding a place to stay meant the owner of the house/apartment would get laid.
Olivia tried finding more reliable people, this meant she mentioned her homelessness to people she conversed with in the daytime. After all, those shuffling around in the afternoon cold of Manhattan were almost always sober, nice people.
Today, Oliviaβs shelter for the night would be determined in Central Park. She hoped to find someone who hated the cold as much as her. She was basically asking for pity upon the residents of Manhattan, but she didnβt like to think of it that way.
She walked around the park for about half an hour before finding a nice place to sit. It was freezing outside, but despite the weather, a few people could be found here and there. Olivia fumbled with her gloves and grabbed her signature lighter from her jacket pocket.
βI really should stop this disgusting habit.β She mumbled to herself as she placed a cigarette in between her lips, covering the flame from the cold as she lit the end.
Oliviaβs fiery, blue eyes were the only thing visible; everything else was covered from head to toe in an attempt to stay warm. She shivered anyway, her teeth chattering every time she didnβt have the cigarette in her mouth. She looked absolutely miserable, but again, she was looking for pity.

{I might not be able to match your length, I hope you're okay with that!}
Winter was most likely Klaus' most preferred time of year, due to the fact he could accidentally freeze something and not be feared and/or considered an outcast for it like he usually was. However, that didn't mean people still weren't scared of him. Some even thought winter made his powers stronger, which wasn't true in the slightest. Because of the people's fear of him, he often went out at night due to there being fewer people outside. He had long silver hair that ended near his mid-back along with blue eyes.
Tonight, he had chosen the park to walk through. While he was walking, he noticed an unfamiliar person, causing him to quietly, and cautiously, approach her.

( oh you're fine!!)
Olivia took notice of the mysterious man walking towards her. Maybe he was going to be generous enough to help her on this cold evening. She gave a shrug and took a long drag from her cigarette, watching the man intently as she exhaled a large, smokey cloud. Her eyes squinted in curiosity as she realized how cautious he was while approaching her. She began to fidget as her mind wandered over the possible things that could happen next. She hoped for the nicer scenarios, rather than the ones that caused her to shake, and not just because of the brisk cold.

Oh, so she had noticed him. He slowed his pace until he stopped in front of her, deciding to crouch down in front of her. "Uh... hey. I haven't seen you around here," he said, brushing a few strands of hair out of his face. His voice was soft and it was clear he didn't have the best social skills ever. "I'm Klaus, Klaus Reimer. You may have already heard of me around here." Well, she wasn't scared of you the second she saw you, so she obviously wasn't scared! "Just... forget about the second bit..."

Olivia watched his every move, almost surprised that he crouched down in front of her.
"Olivia," She spoke clearly, holding out her cigarette towards Klaus, "What is Klaus Reimer doing in Central Park late at night?" She questioned, her thick British accent evident as she tilted her head in curiosity.
Of course she had never heard of this man, but she found it endearing that he thought of himself as the talk of the town. She had only been here for two weeks, and this was probably her most interesting encounter.

Well, he sure wasn't talk of the town for a positive reason... But he wasn't going to reveal that only seconds after meting her. As he heard her question, he hoped he could form a good enough sentence to explain why he was here. "Oh, um... I like being out at night. It's better because there's less people out," he explained, hoping she wouldn't press for more information. "Anyway, it's nice to meet you, I guess."

"You too...any reason I sparked your interest?" She gave him a smile, pulling down her scarf a bit more as she threw the cigarette down. As she put it out with the heel of her combat boot, she inched a bit closer to the guy. Olivia had an odd sense of personal space...well actually she didn't have any. She enjoyed the company of others, and found this guy incredibly intriguing.

As she inched closer to him, he couldn't help but move a bit away. He assumed she didn't have the best idea of person space. great, now she might want to know why he moved away "It was simply because I haven't seen you before. Are you not from here?" he asked.

Olivia took notice of his movement, taking into account how bad at personal space she was. She leaned back, giving him a bright smile, "I moved from England two weeks ago. Haven't really got a place to stay so I'm a wanderer." She answered, barely taking her eyes off of him. It was clear she wasn't the best at human interaction, even though she somehow managed to find shelter every night the past two weeks. She was convinced it was her looks, and possibly her height. She was so short and tiny that most thought of her as a child at times.
