adding onto the pureblood idea, maybe at one point, a member of an elitist pureblood family makes a statement such as "they got what they deserved" or "pureblood genes really are superior" etc. so some people beging to speculate that (a) pureblood family/families are behind it? that would definitely drive tensions even higher
if this is happening after voldemort, maybe some pureblood families also use the illness to try and climb back to power? since they were disgraced after the wizarding world found out about their connections to voldemort, they might see the sudden inability of other wizards to function as a chance to step up and lead

We at least need some rules too, probably an intro. Additionally, I think we could also have a little plot overview paragraph, which might be helpful since there's a lot of components to this disease we've created XD

i don't think you need to add anything, but i would move the blood status, patronus, etc. to the third line so it's a little less crowded and maybe add a little note beside patronus saying "optional, character must be of age, capable, etc." to avoid a first year with a patronus
what do you want to start planning next?

ive got these for the rules oo: Be corteous to other forumers - this is a given. I don't want anyone here that doesn't know how to respect other people's views and wants to pick a fight with everyone. If you want to argue, take that somewhere else. Try to be as active as possible - this doesn't mean that you need to post every day. I understand that school and life outside the forums is a thing, and it can be stressful. Just please try your best to post at least 3-4 times a week to keep things moving, especially if your character has a major part in a plot. Use [], () or {} when talking out of roleplay - it is easy to confuse outside conversation with roleplaying sometimes, so by doing this it really makes life easier for everyone. Try to be literate - this is a semi-advanced/advanced roleplay, so we do expect you to be able to spell and use grammar correctly. Also, one-liners make it hard to reply to. I understand that it is quality over quantity in roleplaying, but please try to write enough that it's okay to respond to. I'm not going to send you away if you find spelling and grammar difficult, or find it hard to write up a lot each time, but I will if you don't put in the effort. It's easy to tell when someone isn't trying, especially when you can see by their other roleplays that they are capable of it. Keep it PG - this is in terms of romance and violence. Kissing should be the limit in terms of romance and in terms of violence, I know there could be some violence in the roleplay, but don't overdo your description of the wounds your character has or make it too gory. This also goes for swearing. Don't swear in roleplay or out of roleplay. You can say ''He/She swore'' on the odd occassion but don't literally use one of the words. Do not spotlight your characters - your character/s can't be the the main event at the show every time. If we ever need a main character for a plot, then you can ask, but don't try to push other people away from the limelight. If your character already has a main part, then don't try to shove your other ones into the spotlight, as well. Leave space for other people's characters. No Mary Sues or Gary Stus - these are perfect characters. No one is perfect in real life, we all have flaws, so no realistic character can be perfect. Your character can be good looking, but don't make them so absolutely stunning that everyone looks at them every time they walk into a room. Don't make your character have a heart of gold but also have flawless skin and hair. Nobody is 100% perfect. Don't create a crazy amount of characters - it's hard for you to keep up with. Don't create 6 but only use 3, either. You should use your characters equally. I mean, if you want to create 20 but can be bothered to post for each character every time you come here then sure, go ahead, as long as you can keep up with them all. The codeword is pumpkin juice. Please put this in the 'other' section of your form so I know you've read the rules. Please try to spread out which houses your characters go in - This means don't create 10 and make them all Hufflepuffs. I want to make the students as equal as possible in term of houses. You can create 2 or 3 and put them all in the same house but try not to do it with everyone. The same goes for genders. Don't make all 6 female. Have fun! - I know these rules seem strict but I try to create a friendly and fun atmosphere within my roleplays! They are made to have fun, after all!

It's been many long years since the fall of Voldemort, but Hogwarts remains as unchanged and as timeless as ever. Whether you're here for your first year or your last, whether you're Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin, it's home. You enter the giant doors, look up at the starry ceiling of the Great Hall, and hear your friends calling for you. They already have seats at your house table, and the Headmaster is about to make the annual welcome back speech. It's time for another year of your magical education to begin.

Well, I mean it depends on how long you want to wait. Have they been online since then? Do you want to start rping right away or do you think there are still plot things to figure out?
