Either one is perfectly fine. If you want it to happen now, then it can. Shane can ditch breakfast too comfort her. He's the kind of guy that would do that)

Welp, this will be even more interesting than I thought it would. XD Let's say Shane wasn't there when they took her, lol. That'd make things really difficult for their growing relationship. Late night cuddles are also awesome.)
At the sound of her voice, Shane turned his head to look over at her. Apparently, she hadn't bothered with her bedhead either, but it's not like it made a difference to him. "Morning," he responded then went back to focusing on the food in the skillet, currently the eggs. There was another skillet with bacon in it, but the eggs were what he was messing with. Soon, the eggs were on two separate plates with the bacon, and he moved on to buttering his toast. "You can get your plate and butter your toast the way you want," he told her, a little quieter than usual, but other than that and the fact his hair was still a mess of ebony, nothing was different from had become their norm.

(Haha, okay!)
In the month that they had been staying together, Phallon never bothered fixing her bedhead, no matter how bad it might have been. She just woke up, ate breakfast, and then went to go tame the wild curls that were her hair. Shane, however, was never caught with his hair in a mess if he could help it. So it was a little strange to see his hair sticking up at odd angles. A small, amused smile turned the corners of her mouth upward. "Looking a bit shaggy this morning, aren't you?" the woman teased, watching him out of the corner of her eye as she grabbed the butter to fix her toast.

"Huh? Oh, yeah. Just didn't bother with the hair yet," Shane said and shrugged. He really didn't mind it honestly. Right now, his mind was still on other things. He buttered his toast then set the plate at the table before getting a glass out of the cupboard and milk form the fridge. "Any idea what you want to do today? We ahve off, so I was thinking maybe our usual jog and then spend some time at the park doing whatever. Maybe feeding the ducks and playing some frisbee would be fun," he suggested while pouring milk into his glass. Once he was done, the gallon went back into the fridge, and he took his drink to the table where he sat to eat.

Phallon nodded as she fixed up her own toast. His hair didn't look all that bad. If anything, it looked cute, made him less intimidating. No, bad Phallon. That's what started this mess, she scolded herself. If things were ever going to get back to normal, then she had to push those those aside. At least until she knew what was going to happen to them after they moved out of the motel. "A park day sounds good," she replied. "It won't be too cold to play frisbee?" The weather had turned cold over the last month, and while she could stand it for their morning jogs, she didn't know how it would feel to spend several hours out in it.

"Nah, one of our coworkers said it was supposed to be nice today, and that we were lucky to have the day off," Shane replied before shoving a bite of toast with egg yolk in his mouth. After swallowing that, he continued speaking. "I've got a frisbee in my bag of goodies, too." It was really just one of the bags he'd brought from 'his apartment' when moving into this motel room with Phallon. This bag simply contained various, miscellaneous items, most of which were provided to him by the Organization for the sole purpose of building a wall of trust between him and his subject. A frisbee just happened to be one of those items.

"Eh, I think I could make it plenty interesting," Shane responded, adding a small shrug. He said nothing to even hint at having other friends in the city. And that would be because he had none. The one bad thing about his job wasn't he wasn't really able to have friends other than past subjects. With his occupation came a lot of moving around. So much in fact that the man did not even possess a house or vehicle of his own. Everything was provided by his bosses. And when he wasn't on a job, for those short times, he had a room at their main headquarters. Mostly, however, he just could not own anything that couldn't be taken on his business trips, and that included having friends he could actually meet up with. Phone calls and the occasional skype video chat was the extent of it. His job came at the cost of so many different sacrifices.
Shane looked up at Phallon from his food, watching her eat for a moment. "Maybe you'll make a friend at the park," he suggested. While he couldn't have friends, she could. So long as she continued on the path of being a contributing member of society and staying away from crime, she could have all the friends her heart desired.

"Well, what if it's a stray cat?" Shane asked with a small, ornery smile coming onto his face. "You can't be friends with stray cats? Cause that's a shame if you can't. Cats are adorable." A part of him wished he could ahve a pet, but that would never work out with his job. Friends, pets, even plants would never work out. Beyond those phone calls and occasional skype video chats, he had no way to keep friends and no way at all to keep pets or even plants, as they required attention and maintenance that he could not provide. "You ever think of having a pet?" he asked suddenly.

Lol! That'd be so super cute, though!)
"What? Cats are amazing! No cat is evil, just misunderstood," Shane retorted then shook his head. "Nope, if you get a pet while I'm around, it has to be a cat. I'm not fond of dogs anyway." Dogs haven't been very kind to him in the past. Sometimes, his job required him to be around some not-so-friendly dogs, and the man may or may not have developed a small fear of them. It's not like he'd freak out with a dog around, but he'd definitely be more on edge and a bit more jumpy. Of course, he'd never tell Phallon this. It was a huge weakness, and that could be detrimental to his job.

I can arrange that, soon :3)
"Well, not all cats are so mellow," Shane told her. "Ever hear of the bengal cat? Or the savannah? Maybe the abyssinian? They're all relaly athletic cats that have a lot of energy. You can teach them to walk on leashes with harnesses, too. Some other mix breed cats can be the same way, depending on their personality. I could have a cat and still be pretty active, but I can't actually get a cat. I just don't think it would work out, for different reasons I'd rather not discuss." Of course, he couldn't tell her that he moved around all the time, helping to integrate mindwarpped former-criminals back into society, and that he didn't have time for a pet.

"No, I only have one allergy, and it's not cats. But I'm not gonna tell you that allergy, or why I can't have a cat either. It's just a really complicated thing as to why I can't have a pet," Shane told her, being pretty vague about it all. "I'd rather not talk about it, okay?" he added to prevent the woman from prying any further, but he wasn't rude about it or anything. His tone was more dismissing than anything. Finishing his breakfast, Shane stood up and took the dishes to the sink then dumped them in there to be washed at a later time.

"Then get yours in here when you're done eating, instead of letting them sit on the table so the food can dry on them," Shane replied, moving to lean his back on the counter, placing his hands on it too. Though, with his height, he was practically sitting on the counter instead. "We can go out for our jog after the dishes are done then. It's not gonna take long anyway. I'm thinking we just come back here after so I can grab us a frisbee and maybe make a lunch so we can eat that at the park."

"Take care of your mop, too," Shane told her, completely teasing the woman. While it was half fake, all of this normal behavior, half of still was true. He wanted to be normal, but he just couldn't be truly, so he had to half fake it. Last night's events were still playing in his mind. Without another word, he turned around and turned the hot water on, plugging the sink drain. Some dish soap was added, and soon the sink was filling with hot, bubbly water.

By the time Phallon had returned, Shane was draining the sink and rinsing out the remaining suds; it didn't take long to wash only a few dishes. He turned the cold water off and then used a paper towel to dry his hands, tossing it in the tiny garbage can after. He then walked over to the bathroom doorway but stopped to look Phallon up and down. "Eh, you look better than before," he teased then stepped inside the other room. instead of brushing his hair, he simply ran a hand through it and, finding it was needed, put some water on his hand to keep his hair from sticking with static. Afterwards, he went to his bag and grabbed a simple t-shirt and shorts which he could wear for their active day today. Going to the bathroom once more, he changed and then emerged, simply tossing his previous clothes onto the couch carelessly. "Are we all ready for our jog?"

"And who said I was trying to impress you?" Phallon called back to him. She had learned that his teasing insults meant nothing. After all, she had looked worse the day they meet. She was sure she looked better than that. While he went to change, the woman went to the fridge to make sure they still had plenty of water bottles inside. The water that came from the sink might be good to wash dishes, but she didn't dare trying to drink any of it. There was five bottles resting in the door of the fridge, the last five of the last pack they had bought. She made a mental note to pick more up before leaving work tomorrow. "Yeah, I'm ready," she called, looking over at him. "You want me to bring water with us, or do you think you can make it until we get back?"

"Always bring water," Shane answered, coming over to reach around her and grab a bottle for himself. When he stood tall again, he cracked open the bottle and took a swig then let out a satisfied sigh afterwards. "Better to stay hydrated, especially on a really warm day like today." It was a nice day with only a few clouds in the sky, and a temperature of 78 degrees fahrenheit. The man made his way to the door and opened it, peering out before actually stepping out. "Yep, it's nice and warm already, and it's not even noon yet," he confirmed then waited for Phallon, ready to start jogging when she was. They'd take their usual route, as well.

I did too, tbh. Let's go with summer, but it's going into fall)
Shane looked back at her when she the comment about her beauty. He couldn't help himself. Without even thinking, he replied, "Well, I think you'd look good no matter what." He mentally scolded himself then for that response, but it was too late now. So, he just started to lightly jog. "Maybe just a mile down the road," he decided, not looking over his shoulder as he jogged away, down the side of the street.

"Then I guess I have mixed feelings about your looks. Or maybe I just wanna mess with you," Shane told her once she caught up, looking down at her with a smirk for a moment before turning his attention back to where he was going. It was fairly early and a warm day already, but there were still people walking along the sidewalk and the occasional bike rider. The roads were pretty busy, as well, so any pedestrian traffic would all be congested onto the sidewalk.
