"...no comment." She replied, with a slight smirk on her face. She blinked as he introduced himself. This boy is quite chatty. she thought to herself. "Katrina. It's a pleasure." Katie was a good actor, so she seemed friendly enough. She then noticed his piercing and stared. She had never seen a guy with a piercing on his ear. Well, she hadn't seen a lot of things anyway.

Katie was a good actor, so she seemed friendly enough. She then noticed his piercing and stared. She had never seen a guy with a piercing on his ear. Well, she hadn't seen a lot of things anyway. Carter grinned, noticing the slight stare and nodding. If there was one thing that usually turned heads, it was the seemingly mild-mannered teen with an ear piercing. Letting his hand drop back to his side, the grin disappeared slightly. "Katrina..." He rolled the name around his tongue for a moment, before nodding again; keeping the name in his mind. "That doesn't sound french. You from around these parts? - not as a pick up line, though, just as a question...hehe!" He caught himself, sheepishly looking down.

Katie blinked and smirked again. "Well I thought the accent would answer that question, but no I'm not originally from here." Katie, being as observant as she was, had noticed him look at his watch earlier when they first started talking so she spoke up, "Aren't you meeting a friend? They might be mad if your late. I saw you look at your watch."

I saw you look at your watch." "Hey, you never know these days...I make a pretty convincing french accent myself" Carter laughed, rolling his eyes and scoffing. Honestly, he hadn't thought of it like that, but he wasn't going to show that. At the mention of his watch, he instinctively looked down at it and muttered something; since he had less time to meet for training. Then again, he was the worst person when it came to keeping track of time; and keeping watches, but that was another story entirely. "Yeah, I'm supposed to meet my aunt. She's taking me out for the night." He explained, not giving away much but lacing most of the truth in it. [[Hey hey ^^]]

"Ah is your aunt the type to start looking for you if you're late? She might misunderstand if she finds you with a girl. " she said with a teasing grin, poking his chest playfully, looking at him with her deep blue eyes.
(Morning!)

[[XD I finally caught up on watching a series yaas]]
Carter chuckled, puffing out his chest teasingly as well. Always ready for a good tease, he didn't seem to be affected by it. "Yeah, she'll probably pull my piercing out if I'm late again; but then I pull off the puppy dog face and she backs off...sometimes." Natasha, meanwhile, was tracing the possible path that Carter would use to meet her; obviously knowing that the teen would be late. As usual, she had one the bet that Tony had placed, so she would meet the kid halfway. Instead of her usual red locks of hair, Nat wore a brown wig and sunglasses; not wanting to attract attention to herself. Spotting Carter ahead, with a girl nonetheless, shocked and amused her to no end, so she hung back until she could get the best time to embarrass him.

"Hmm. Should I leave? I don't want to-" she cut off, a shiver running down her spine. Someone was watching them. She glanced around warily, not sure if she should flee or not. "..." She was quiet, as she debated this. "...Yeah I think I'll leave. I don't want to interrupt." She mumbled. She started to turn, accidentally turning in the direction of Nat.
(What series?)

[[It's called The Librarians xD I'm not sure if you'd know it; but it's pretty amazing. I was actually thinking of making an rp based off it]]
Carter shrugged, looking around the street. The pedestrians had thinned out slightly, which gave him a better view of the street as a whole. "I was enjoying the conversation though...I don't usually get a lot of time to talk to anyone." He looked down, sighing. It wasn't that he didn't like training, it's just that he didn't really fit in with the other trainees as much as he thought he would. At the mention of 'Katrina' leaving, he sighed again. "But if you really need to-" His reply died in his voice as he barely spotted Nat in the crowd; but didn't show any recognition. Nat, however, felt something tug at the depths of her apparently missing heart, but she didn't keep her gaze on Katie for long to make sure she didn't give herself away. Instead, she acted like a classic tourist and took out a phone; snapping pictures of some buildings whilst making sure to keep the teens in view.

"...Something doesn't feel right. Somebody's watching. That isn't the best feeling, and I'd rather not have a fight break out. Not here." She grumbled. She wouldn't mind if it were somewhere quiet. "Can't you feel it?" She asked, slowly turning back to him. The look in her eyes had changed, but the feeling seemed unrecognizable.

Taking the turn as a chance to change position, Carter saw Natasha disappear into the crowd; mentally groaning at her antics. Something in him wondered if this was just another test. "I think I feel it...I'm not used to being followed, though." He gave a nervous smile, the bad-boy demeanor leaving immediately. The sentence wasn't entirely a lie, though.

"Should we run?" She glanced at him, a mischievous smile growing on her face. "We can see if you can keep up." She smirked.
(Katie is really fast as well cause you know, Hydra.)

"Oh?" Carter couldn't resist the challenge, nor could he decline the offer to hang out more. Call it loneliness or pure competitiveness, but he was really enjoying the company. "My uncle says I'm pretty fast, and that's when he has time to look to his right as I pass him!" He chuckled, but nodded. "But I'll bite; let's shake off our mysterious observer."

Katie grinned and, without warning, took off, leaving him in the dust as he stood. Now she didn't know who this boy was, so she figured she would lose him at some point, not that she would mind all that much. He could distract her from her mission. She had heard some of the avengers were in Paris at the moment so she had come to spy. She would then head back to New York around the time they did. Of course, she had to find them first.

Struck by the sudden movement, Carter almost forgot to follow. True to her word, it did seem that Katrina was fast. Breaking into a sprint after her, he made sure to control just how fast he went, not wanting to give any hints to the serum. The other avengers had drilled that into his head time and time again, anyway, so he kept his distance. Natasha, however, slapped a palm to her face at the childish act, proceeding to attempt to trace their potential route. If she was lucky, then the boy would stop somewhere easy to track. "Kids these days; almost as bad as a drunk Tony."

Katie, who was much faster than an average girl her size, glanced back and looked quite shocked that he was managing to keep up with her, maybe even catching up. How is he...What... She thought, utterly flabbergasted at his speed. She then noticed Natasha following from a distance. Ah, so that's who was spying. Surprising, I thought it would be someone else. She mused, and started to pick up her speed.

Carter hung back again, proceeding to run at a pace that he would have deemed a 'light jog'. Feeling the whirr of a message vibrate in his pocket, he chuckled softly and ran a little faster; almost sure that the message included a quip from Nat herself. "Turn left!" He called out ahead. "The plaza is full of people!" Natasha, hearing the call, rolled her eyes from under her sunglasses and slowed down into a leisurely walk. If the kids wanted to play, then she'd let them play.

But Katie didn't turn left, instead, she headed to a tiny park like area, and disappeared behind a tree. She melted into the shadows and slithered up the tree. It might be fun to scare him off. She planned to wait until he looked around, and then she would appear in the high area of the tree and surprise him. She didn't know Natasha could still see though.

(Ok. So how many characters do we each want to have? I have two girls in mind, Vulcan and human.) I have an augmented human male OC and a human female OC ^^ How about one OC each and then we add on if we feel like it? (Ok. I think I'll go with Abigail Smith.))

Carter raised an eyebrow as she turned the opposite way, but shrugged and pushed on. He, however, lost track of her after she went into the dimly lit park. "What? Are we playing hide-and-seek now?!" He started, skidding to a halt and unfortunately sending tufts of grass into the air. Sending a silent apology to the Park servicemen, he started to peek around trees.

"But I always win when I'm the one hiding. If I'm playing serious." A teasing voice came from high in the tree above him, where she now lay, her back propped up on the trunk. "It's a gift" She said, though it truly was.

Carter wouldn't say he jumped in shock, but the boy did leave the floor with a gasp. Looking up, his gape soon turned into an amazed smile. "Woah! You are good!" He clapped, before checking if there was any place for him to climb up. Opting out, he just leaned against the tree. "That gift would have helped me a lot in Middle School- the kids aren't and weren't nice at all." He joked.
[[Which means I'm like 6 hours ahead. Good morning from Riv-town then lol]]

"...Can't say I relate." She said, a shadow hiding her facial expression. She hadn't really gone to school, she learned all she needed to by Hydra. "You don't seem shocked by much though. Is that woman still nearby by the way? When are you going to meet your..." She then connected the dots. She face palmed. "That woman was your aunt wasn't she. You could have said so." She glanced around, eventually spotting her a little ways away.

"I went to a middle school on my dad's request mostly; wanted me to have an education in his old school." Carter explained, before wondering why Katrina would have not gone to a middle school. Home school, possibly? His smile returned when she asked about Nat, clapping slightly when she figured it out. "Eyup! I'm sure she's either annoyed or amused right now, but I'll be fine; she did say I need to get out more." Nat, finally coming into view, leaned on a nearby bench and waved with her fingers. Whilst Carter couldn't read her expression from that far, he knew she was highly amused.

Katie looked at the woman. And then sat up. "Well then." In a swift movement, she leapt off the high branch but landed on the ground easily on her feet, unharmed. It was like she was a freaking gymnast. She brushed her red hair out of her blue eyes. "Why don't you introduce me?" She said, gesturing to Nat.

"You'd want to meet her?" Carter asked, slowly, before rubbing the back of his neck with a nervous smile. Sure, he was sure Aunt Nat would be able to pull one of her many accents out of her figurative hat, so that wasn't why he was nervous. Instead, he glanced at Katrina and sighed. "Well, if you want to...She's going to tease." Flashing a small smile, he turned and jogged to Nat; the latter standing up straight. "Carter, darling." Pulling off a perfect American accent, Natasha watched the two teens and smiled. "I was wondering where you were off to! I see you made a friend here already?"

Katie blinked as she looked at Nat. Something in her heart seemed to twitch, but it went away quickly. Katie then spoke in her German accent. "Well to be frank I crashed into him and he started talking. Then I felt what I suppose was you watching us and decided it'd be nice to run." she shrugged, looking at Nat cooly. She had no idea she was standing in front of her mother. "I am Katrina."

"I'm sure Carter told you that he was supposed to meet me in the plaza." Nat, sweeping her covered eyes on the eerily familiar girl, chuckled. Her heartstrings wouldn't stop tugging, and she instantly wondered if Clint would have felt the same. Besides, even though all those years had passed, she still felt the pain of loss. "However, he's the worst at keeping to time; he'd probably miss his own funeral." "And birth!" Carter chipped in cheerily. Nat scoffed, but nodded. "Well, it's nice to see that Carter has made a friend; and please, call me Susan."

Katie started to smile. It was different from her other smiles though. This was a genuine smile this time. "Oh dear. You must have fun with him." When she said to call her Susan, she looked a bit flustered. She was used to having to call adults by their last name. "It was probably my fault he was late though. And I'm afraid I won't be here to be his friend for long. I'm moving to New York soon." Her shirt had shifted again from jumping down the tree, and it showed the old bullet scar. She noticed and causally slid the shirt back over it. She noticed the woman appeared to be looking at her strange. "...Is something on my face?"
(I assume Katie and Carter were playmates)

'No.' The sight of an all too familiar attribute almost floored the Black Widow for the first time in years; a swell of disbelief and shock reverberating through her entire body. Lucky that a bench was nearby, and that she had been taught extensively how not to show emotion, she leaned casually on the bench. "New York? Cart's an upstate New Yorker, actually." Carter, excited, turned to Katrina and nodded. "Yeah! Ain't that cool! Maybe I'll show you around if you stop by."
(I'm sure they were ^^ But I doubt Carter would have remembered much; his biological parents probably wouldn't have mingled a lot))
