'Anything meat.' Saber replied, easily sliding out of his flirty facade and into a serious frown. 'I am actually starving. Lead the way, Bion.' He grinned, giving him a mock curtesy with his silks. He took the other males arm and let him lead. 'So you've been hunting?' He curiously asked. 'I thought you wrote poetry?'

Bion nodded. That was an easy request. Almost all places they could eat would have meat. Though he didn't know about raw meat. He opened his mouth to ask Saber about this when the man curtsied. He snorted while trying to hide his laughter. He started to walk when Saber took his arm. "Well, I do both. I hunt in the morning until noon, when the markets come out. When I plan on moving on, I'll sell my kills at the market and chat with the people running the stalls to see if they need anything brought anywhere. When I don't plan on moving on, I sell my kills to the fancy houses whose owners want fresh meat everyday. I'll try to talk to the servants or chief to see if the owner may want my services. No use wasting time by talking to the owners directly until I'm sure." He let pride slip into his voice as he spoke. It had taken him a while to figure out all the tricks and the routine. It had been a tough few months in the beginning, but he had climbed his way out of the dirt.

It had been a tough few months in the beginning, but he had climbed his way out of the dirt. Saber listened intently as Bion explained to him what he usually did, keeping a wary eye on their surroundings, not wanting to get jumped by a monster or by grabbing hands of devious men and women. He tried to ignore the wide eyed stares as the handsome demigod-and-God passed by the crowds. He smiled at Bion warmly. 'Certainly sounds like you've gotten everything figured out,' he purred, nothing short of praise and warmth towards the male in his voice. 'You're very clever.' He then said, looking away. 'I'm not sure what I'm fancying today.' He then curiously said, stomach growling at the prospect of... anything, please!.

Bion smiled at Saber. When he praised Bion, Bion looked away, slightly embarrassed and flushed. His eyes scanned the crowd for the restaurant he had heard about, and people walking too close to them. This was a smaller town, but there would still be pickpockets. He chuckled at the growl. "How about a gyro? They have meat in them." He suggested, pointing at the small restaurant.
(I have no clue if gyros were invented by then, so sorry if they weren't. )

He agreed, before taking over and tugging Bion rather eagerly towards the small restaurant, his tomach now growling even more insistently. Saber realised he got hungry very easily. He wondered if using his powers, or his accellerated healing, had an effect on his metabolism.

Yeah, I figured it didn't matter. I love gyros too. ^^ )
Bion smiled at Saber's eagerness. He hoped Saber would enjoy the food as much as he did. "I would get the lamb. It is the best." He suggested as they entered. The hungry man grinned even wider at the lack of a line and mouthwatering smell of the cooking meat and baking bread. He ordered his lamb gyro before stepping aside to let Saber order his. He reached into his bag and pulled out enough silver coins to cover their meal.

Saber nodded at Bion's suggestion and ordered the same, stomach now pleading with him at the overwhelming smell of the cooking food. He impatiently waited for their Gyros to be handed over and he took a seat at one of the tables, eagerly biting into his. 'It's good.' He nodded, smiling happily at Bion.

Bion finished his mouthful of food having already started to stuff himself. "Good. I was a bit worried considering I had no clue what you ate before, but I don't think I've met a person that didn't like gyros." He said before taking another bite.

Saber chuckled. 'It is really good.' He agreed, before falling silent so that he could focus on eating his Gyros, gazing out of the window at the bustling streets. He examined the markets as they opened, listened to the shouts of the sellers and the arguements of men on the streets- he watched the women trying on jewellery or selling themselves for money and food- he watched children as they pick-pocketed or stole from the stands so they could eat. His mind drifted and he began to wonder what might have happened to him had Bion not noticed him laying there, nor stopped to help him- he again felt his heart swell with appreciation for the demigod and he gave him a warm smile, eyes gentle.

Bion had his attention locked on the food. Only after making it half way through the gyro that he looked up to see Saber looking outside. His own eyes drifted to the streets. He wasn't fond of the busy streets. There was safety in crowds but also a danger Bion couldn't ignore. There were too many men in the shadows and children on the streets. Maybe that is why he was always moving. Bion shrugged at himself and looked over at Saber again. "Do I have something on my face?" He asked when he found Saber staring at him.

Saber blushed at his question as he realised he'd been staring, and replied; 'my eyes.' He grinned at him cheekily and went back to eating his food, starting to fill up. He was surprised at how quickly the Gyros filled him. 'What are you going to do today then?' He asked, as he brushed some hair behind his ear.

It was Bion's time to blush at Saber's cheeky reply. He returned his attention to his food, unsure on how to reply to that. He quickly finished the gyro with a couple of quick bites. "I was either planning on hanging out with you or, if you needed some time, sitting by the shore of the near by lake." He said. It wasn't really productive things to do, but he didn't feel like hunting or trying to write poems today. "What about you?" He asked.

'I was debating on going to work anyways.' Saber replied, blushing at Bion's suggestions. 'Though I would love to spend some time with you.' He paused, glancing back out of the window. 'I was invited back to the mayors household today- he's holding a party in the evening and has promised to pay me handsomely if I show to dance for his guests.' He looked at Bion. 'Would you are to join me?' He shyly asked. 'As a guest, of course- maybe your presence will even calm the grabbing hands.'

Bion shifted in his chair. While he didn't condemn the other man's work, he also didn't like it. He didn't like the idea of hands grabbing at Saber without Saber's permission. He didn't like the idea of other person carelessly talking to Saber and using him without thinking. He nodded anyways. He would get to see Saber more and make him more comfortable. It was a win-win for the both of them. "But until then, what do you want to do?" He asked.

I'm not too bothered if I'm honest with you. I just enjoy spending time with you.' He turned beetroot red as the words just slipped out of his mouth, and quickly dropped his gaze to the table, taking his drink to sip at it and try to avoid looking at Bion now, embarrassed.

Bion snorted at Saber's shyness. Saber can make innuendos but then blush at walking around a lake because he likes my company. Bion liked it. He nodded. "Then we should go shopping. Do you have any idea what we are looking for?" He asked with a small smile.

Saber shook his head, lips twitching slightly as he felt even closer to Bion due to his acceptance of him. 'Maybe some new clothes, or something to cook with; I love spices.' He tightened his cloak and smiled at the demigod. 'And I saw these weapons a while ago... they intrigued me- they were like metal cloves that sit on your knuckles, with knife claws extended from them. Like a cat. I want to be able to fight as a human, too, so could we perhaps look into that?' He asked, tilting his head.

Sorry for not replying. I didn't feel like rping yesterday. )
Bion nodded with a small smile. That might fill their morning. He thought it might be fun: them walking around and pretending to be normal. He looked out the window at the people. They would be able to do this for a week. A week of not moving around. The small slowly fell, replacing it was a puzzled expression. He suddenly felt uneasy. This situation he was in with Saber, it felt too normal but also too foreign. Something bad was going to happen. They were going to be found out. Bion felt twitchy. "Well, let's go." He said, standing up.

'Alright... let's see if we can't find these weapons.' He grinned at the demigod and led the way, before waiting for him to catch up and linking his arm through his. He didn't want to lose him in the messy panics of the crowd. He kept a cool gaze out for any pickpockets and thieves as they walked, one hand always on his money pouch just in case.

Bion looked around at the stalls and shops. He suddenly realized he was useless. he had no clue what stall the weapons were in or if it was even a stall. he supposed it would be in a place with other weapons, but he had never heard of such weapons so he supposed they could be somewhere else. He looked over at Saber. "Where these weapons in a shop or market stall?" He asked. He glared at a kid, who approached too close for his liking, before looking back at Saber.

'A stall I think.' Saber replied. 'If we can't find any, maybe we can stop by the blacksmiths; and if need be I can just go find the metals and items he needs to make them instead of paying money.' He nodded as he spoke, confident in his charms and his ideas on how to work people. He felt comfortable at the moment, strong with Bion at his side. 'Maybe we could pick you up some new arrows, and have a sheathe made for my too- your knife.'

Bion hummed as Saber explained. "I had a man making my arrows. The hunters I was with suggested him. He was a bit pricy, but I rather be alive with a few less coins then dead with less. As for the sheath, I haven't found one yet." Bion had found sheathes, but none of them seemed fitting for the dagger. It needed something better. He stopped talking to tug on Saber's arm. He pointed to a merchant with many shiny and odd weapons. "Could this be it?" He said as he started to walk up.

'Yeah, that's it.' He confirmed, following his friend over. He pleasantly greeted the merchant and began to carefully look over the weapons, before he found what he needed. He picked up one of the gauntlet-like weapons and slid it over his knuckles, holding the bar in his palm, examining the long claws with interest. 'It's a little big.' He murmured, looking up at the merchant. 'May I have this resized to fit? I'll pay extra.' 'Of course!' The merchant grinned, before measuring Sabers hands and getting to work on the two gauntlets. Saber cheerfully looked at Bion, grinning like a Cheshire Cat, excited to have his new weapons.

Bion looked over the weapons as Saber make a deal. He lightly touched the weapons. Nothing really caught his eyes here. All of the things set up seemed to be foreign and Bion hated drawing attention to himself. He picked up some throwing stars to see how they felt. They were lighter than he had expected and he set them down, disappointed. They would snap in half if someone stepped on them and wouldn't go far into a person. He realized no one was talking and looked up, fearing Saber had left him and wandered to another stall. Instead, he found Saber practically beaming. Bion smiled fondly.

Saber stretched and watched the bustle of the market once he'd received a little attention from Bion. 'I'm a little nervous about performing tonight.' He said softly. 'It's going to be a very large crowd.' Although, he WAS a god, he supposed, so shouldn't he have more confidence? But he was powerless save for his transformations. He shook his head slightly.

Bion hummed. He was just nervous about being in the party. While Saber didn't seem bad around others, it was a big party and many people would be there. Bion looked at Saber to see the god drifting off. "Hey," He said before tapping the man's shoulder, "We should go get some better sandals. You come back with plenty of blisters." He suddenly remembered the blisters and how they have been walking. He internally scolded himself. He should have never suggested a walk to the lake earlier. He was usually so much better with these things.

He politely said to the merchant, who nodded in a friendly manner and shooed them away. Saber walked with Bion, glancing around at the different stalls, trying to find one that dabbled in shoeware. 'Do you need any new shoes?' He asked him, looking over.

Bion looked down at his shoes. Sure, they looked a little beat, but they weren't in bad shape. There were no holes and the insides were still soft. "No. I usually wait until winter to get new ones." Bion said before looking around. He looked around but for the life of him, couldn't spot any stores with sandals. He sighed.

Saber chewed his lip as they walked, before pointing at a store. 'There.' He said, smiling and heading over, stepping inside of the shop and starting to browse the shoes. He examined a nice pair of sand led and sat down to try them on, lacing them up, a content expression on his face.
