Here's the thread... I suppose that I'll use this original post to just store the plot and characters.
Character A and Character B have a falling out in school, and stop being friends. Character A is often hospitalized, and one day Character B is as well. They are unknowingly placed into the same recovery room, and that is where the main plot will take place.
Character A - Clover's Character, Female Victoria "Tori" Abernathy- Thin, petite girl with pale skin and freckles that dot her face. She has dark brown hair that is practically black that is currently cut into a pixie cut. She is 18, but since she refuses to wear any sort of make up and she slouches she looks a lot younger than she actually is. She has blue eyes and a scar starting at her sternum and ends at her belly button from multiple heart surgeries. Has been in and out of hospitals since her freshman year (Although her heart problems started long before that)- her heart keeps on developing problems. First it was a heart murmur then it was an aortic dissection, then when she got her valve replaced her body rejected it. She keeps her problems a secret, claiming every time she missed school for weeks that she had to go back to her dads house in Indiana.
Character B - Razz's Character, Male Azure Smith - Az is a very tall, lean boy, around 6'2", with dark azure blue eyes. He has dark brown almost black hair, and lightly tanned skin with a few freckles on his face and arms. His hair is a little bit longer on top, with shorter hair on the sides. His hair is slightly wavy, but not much. He's a runner, long legged and slim enough that he can run even in wind without much trouble. He used to be really close friends with Tori, but when they were in the end of middle school, a bunch of chaos took off, and they had a big fight and stopped being friends. He rarely talked with her after that. He's a really gentle person under his somewhat harder veneer.

(I'm cool with pretty much anywhere, tbh, though it would make sense to be somewhere in the US, maybe the west coast so that the trips to Indiana would have to be longer?) (And good luck at work!)

Azure's brown black hair fell into his eyes as he tried to scratch out information on his paper in the middle of Chemistry. You could ask most people in the advanced science course, and they'd all respond that it was exceptionally annoying and hard to take. Memorization was key, and to do that, Azure needed every note scratched into his notebook, so that he could study during the off days. He quickly jerked his head to the right to get his hair away, trying not to take his eyes off of the paper, but he still caught a glance of his childhood friend, Tori. Victoria. He needed to stop thinking of her as Tori, even after all these years. Most people had no problems reverting to what they had known an ex-friend as before the breakup, but... he'd never been able to fully stop thinking of her as Tori. She'd been missing from class a lot... he'd noticed it, and he thought that maybe a few others had as well. The problem was that he couldn't inquire about it. The why on that fact stemmed from his and Tori's falling out. It hadn't been a pleasant, mutual falling out, but rather a violent, angry screaming match, followed by insults and then tears. They hadn't spoke apart from when forced to interact in classes. Even if he wondered, it was no longer his place to ask or think about it. He turned back to his notes, hurriedly writing as much more as he could get done from the notes on the board as the teacher lectured. The bell rang loudly, and he jumped, his eyes breaking from his paper towards the board, where he hurriedly notated one more thing and then began to place things in his bag.

Tori was honestly not paying attention in advanced chemistry- she had already looked over a notes, and, luckily for her, she had eidetic memory, so this class wasn't much of a challenge to her. She absentmindedly doodled on her page, bored in the class. Her eyes shifted towards Azure, who seemed to be righting as much down as he possibly could. She could tell he was stressed about this class, that he needed to put every waking minute into studying or he might not pass. A part of her wanted to switch seats, lean over his shoulder, and point out some new tricks to remembering the information. The instinctual part of her wanted to do this- they had been friends since birth, well, not literally. More like they had been friends since they where three, when she and her mom had moved to Seattle. They always helped each other out, until the end of eighth grade where things... well, they went wrong, and went wrong fast. Their falling out wasn't eventual, it was a week full of arguing and crying, and screaming things that she was convinced neither of them meant. She shook her head, shooting a quick glare his way before returning to her doodling, trying to hold onto the distrust that had prevented them from becoming friends once more. If she where going to be honest with herself, she missed him a lot, and had since the day they stopped being friends. It wasn't long after they stopped being friends that they discovered the heart problems she had had gotten exponentially worse. When they found out she had to go and get a hole in her heart sewn shut she wanted nothing more than for him to be there, but when she called he wanted nothing to do with her. In fact, he blocked her number and pretty much told her sister that he had no plans on taking to Tori any time soon. She shook her head, jumping slightly as the bell rang for her next class. She grabbed her bag, touching the medic alert bracelet on her wrist, what replaced the tattered best friend bracelet that she and Azure used to wear. She touched it out of habit, happy that it looked like a normal bracelet. She swiftly got up and made her way out of the door, ramming into Azure on accident. "Oh, sorry." She muttered, not looking at him.
(Thats ok! When are you usually on?)

Azure hadn't been watching where he was going when he stood, he just blindly slung his backpack over one shoulder, letting the bottom of it just lightly brush his hips so that there was some support there. He kept his eyes turned downwards as he started to walk for the door, letting the first section of the flood of students out before taking a step forwards and... getting slammed into and knocked sideways. Now, this doesn't mean that he actually moved his feet. Tori wasn't that big, and besides, he'd been half expecting the jostling from the other students, just not this person slamming into him at the speed she'd been heading. He slammed his foot down quickly to catch himself before he fell, and half caught Tori, very quickly letting go and stepping away from her uncomfortably. His eyes were down turned when he heard her reluctant apology, and he glanced at her quickly. "Whatever, just watch where you're going," he said, forcing his voice to be hard and sharp, though he really just wanted to tell her that it was fine, that she wasn't big enough to really cause any pain, though his side still sang with a bit of sting from her hit. He couldn't stop himself from adding half a second after, "I'm fine, thanks for asking." Then he walked out the door, shifting his backpack quietly, not wanting to look back and see if he'd hurt her, or see if he'd said something that he shouldn't have again. Again. It had been his first comment that set Tori off in eighth grade, their falling out was his fault in his eyes.

She scowled at him, muttering a few profanities his way just loud enough for him to hear. Letting out an aggravated huff she followed him, the two had their next class- Physical Education- together as well. This was going to be unfortunate, especially since they had actually spoken today and it was nothing if not hostile. Why is he so mad, he's the one who started this mess. She thought in aggravation, studying the ground before her, not looking forward to the class. The two of them where the only two seniors in their class- for Tori it was because of her medical problems, but she just made it look like she was avoiding the class. Azure she wasn't sure about, actually. He must be so obsessed with sports that he opted to take extra sports-related classes. She shook her head in disgust as she slipped into the locker room. She went straight to her locker in the back corner, where none of the other girls where. She spun the combination and opened it, switching into her PE clothes as quickly as she could, the scar on her ribcage still red and painful looking. She paused as a wave of dizziness hit her, putting a hand on her locker for support, waiting for it to pass. For the past month these dizzy spells had become more and more frequent, but she tried her best to ignore them. There was no point in worrying her parents or doctors anymore, and she didn't want to go back to the hospital until she actually had to. It had been two months since her last visit, and she was scheduled for one this weekend, and she hoped these spells weren't anything too bad. Her last visit showed no inconsistencies, which was the first time that actually had happened in three years. Usually there was something wrong, something that made her stay in the hospital for at least a week- sometimes it was pneumonia sometimes it was a new hole somewhere on her heart. It was tiring, really. Letting out a breath she straightened her back as one of the freshman asked if she was okay, she turned around and gave her a smile, "Yeah, I'm okay, didn't get much sleep. Scholarships, you know." She said with a laugh before heading into the gym, unconsciously looking for Azure. It wasn't fair, really. He should have apologized by now, but of course his stubbornness got in the way. She knew that much. The last time she spoke with him he tried to call her "Tori" and she had yelled at him, saying only her friends had the right to call her that. For him it was Victoria. So maybe she had a bit to do with their falling out as well, but she didn't want to apologize first.

Azure flinched when he heard Tori swearing behind him. He had to halt his body as it went to visibly cringe inwards, reminding himself that it wasn't his place to cringe about something so simple. She was just saying words, he reminded himself, walking for PE. Physical Education... he didn't really like the class that much, but his Cross Country coach and Track coach both insisted that he take it to keep in shape during the off seasons, so he did. God only knew why Tori had been placed in the same class, maybe it was just a cruel joke played on him. He took the plunge into the locker rooms, heading for his locker and twirling it open with one hand and deft ease. He pulled it open, and pulled off his shit, tossing it into the locker with one hand while he pulled out his shorts and PE shirt comfortably. He pulled it on, before changing his bottoms, and then jogging up the stairs, looking tired. When he emerged into the gym, he headed for his spot in the corner, leaning against a wall silently, and watching the people emerge from the locker rooms. The girls began to trickle up, and he chastised himself for looking for her. He needed to stop. It wasn't doing him any good continuing to seek after Tori, looking for her at every change. He gave a little wince when he saw her coming up, and her eyes met his for half a second before he ripped his gaze away rapidly. His down turned gaze didn't lift again. He sometimes wondered what stopped him from just apologizing to Tori, he knew that he'd been stupid and incorrect when he'd yelled at her, but there was something that stopped him. Probably his pride... He sighed heavily, looking upwards as the PE instructor arrived in their class, looking irritated like normal. Az straightened his back, and turned his gaze forwards, refusing to look over at Tori.

Tori had to keep her irritation from sky rocketing as Az ripped his gaze away from her, clenching her fists as tightly as she could as she stood up and walked towards the instructor with the other girls. Like usual, the boys and girls distanced themselves from one another, as if they didn't want to be infected by the other gender. When she was younger it baffled her why they did this- guy friends where the best thing in her mind. She had way to many fond memories of her and Az hanging out, going on adventures, even sleeping over at each others houses, playing board games till two in the morning. Their parents never cared about them doing this- knowing they where too close to try to do anything immoral. Yet, now she got it. Boys where a pain and too much trouble in her mind now. "Listen up. Today we play flag football. No tackling," The coach glared at the boys, "And no kicking, scratching, or biting." His glare turned to the girls, who seemed rather disappointed in this rule, especially the ones Tori called "The rebels" who seemed to love to play dirty. She bit her lip, worried about playing with this game. According to her doctors she wasn't exactly supposed to play any type of contact sport, which is a problem. This was the first time she had to address a problem like this- their last units where in running the mile and volleyball, at least the ones she was here for. She touched her bracelet again for good luck, deciding to just play today. It shouldn't be a problem if she stayed on the outside of the game, not let anyone hit her. She sighed inwardly as one of her friends, Emma, bounced up next to her. "I can't wait to start this! It'll be so much fun!!" She squeaked, her naturally straight black hair pulled into a high pony tail. She glanced at her friend, smiling. Emma was on the flag football team, so no wonder she was excited. "Hey, do you want to go out this weekend to the mall?" "I can't... I'm flying out to my dads." She lied, feigning a grimace. Well, maybe not feigning it. She was not looking forward to her next hospital visit, wanting to just skip it and get back to school. Emma let out a groan of understanding, "How long are you gonna stay this time?" As Tori just shrugged, "Honestly, I don't know. He's moving and needs me to look after Bella." She explained, using her little sister as an excuse as they where separated into teams. Soon, the last four where waiting, two of them being Tori and Azure. Please, please don't let him be on my team. She prayed as he named the names. "Smith, Abernathy. Your on team A."

Az did his best to not pay attention to Tori and her movements, but he could see her talking to that girl she'd become friends with in his absence, Emma or something. He didn't pay the girls much attention, even though he was plenty old enough to date. He'd dated before, but it was never anything special. They'd either left him, or he them, and no tears had been shed. It was no worse than his falling out with Tori, and after last year, he'd stopped paying much attention to the girls. Other than Tori, of course, who he watched from the corner of his eyes at almost every second. He smiled faintly when he heard their next unit; Flag Football. This was going to be a fun one! He actually enjoyed the sport, even when they weren't allowed to tackle. He sighed at it, and then heard the grumbling from the girls at the next rules. His eyes narrowed when he saw the group of rebellious, vicious girls, mostly Sophomores and Juniors, who thought it was fun to play as down and dirty as possible. Something about showing the world that girls weren't all weaklings. He reserved his opinion that beating the life out of the others wasn't the way to show off their strength, it wasn't his place to chastise them. He stood quietly as the coach began listing off names, and soon he and Tori were two of the final four left in the group. Please, if I don't ask for anything else... "Smith, Abernathy. You're on team A." Don't put her on my team... Azure finished silently in his mind, dropping his head into his hands with a muffled curse. He lifted his eyes and sucked in a deep breath, not daring to look at her as he headed towards the rest of Team A, another two girls and a guy he knew named Wesley. Wes and him were acquaintances, but not friends. In fact, it looked like Azure would be mostly on his own these next few weeks. Why had their teacher put them together of all people?!

"Don't get in the way." She muttered to Azure, trying her best to keep her cool, now seriously considering sitting the unit out. It was almost worth it, explaining her condition to the coach. Instead she shook her head in aggravation and stalked onto the field, not waiting for a response, placing herself on the far edges of the field, knowing they needed someone on the outside. She winced as the whistle blew and kept herself on her toes, not expecting there to be anyone over on this side. Everyone liked keeping to the middle, where the carnage was. She sighed, rubbing her arms at the slight chill in the air as the rain began to fall. Suddenly she saw a boy running her way, one of the opposite team, with the football in hand. She let out a swear, bracing herself as the boy tried to get passed her. He feigned to the left and she followed him, leaping forwards, grabbing the flag as the boy tried to leap forward, ramming his knee into her solar plexus as the flag ripped out of the boys belt. She let out a cry, pain shooting from where she was kneed, collapsing into the mud, unable to move for a few moments. She heard the whistle blow, and someone touch her shoulder. She shook them off, sitting up, holding her chest for a moment as a hand offered to help her off. She reached out a shaking hand, grabbing it and looking into Wes's eyes, trying to say thank you, but the wind seemed to be knocked out of her as she was led to the metal benches. She sat down, head in her hands as she tried to block out the pain, letting it ebb from her as anxiety replaced it. This could be bad... I could have really messed something up. She thought, kicking herself internally. Doctor Daru is going to kill me. She thought with a sigh, touching her ribcage with a wince, feeling her heart beat against her chest wildly.

Azure shot Tori a glare when she shot a comment at him, but he held his tongue for once. He took his place near the side ready to take out the others the second he was allowed to move. Whistle, and movement. Azure watched as the football was hiked back to the other teams quarterback, and he began to count, waiting for ten so that he could charge the player. They threw it to someone just over the line, and he gave a grunt of frusteration, wheeling around so that he could see where they were headed. Straight for Tori, of course. Damn it, Tori, if you don't pull his flag... he's headed straight for you, it won't be that hard. He was running back just in case when he heard a small cry, and his head turned sharply towards the sound, watching as Tori collapsed into the mud, gasping for air. Wes pulled up beside him, and he shoved the fair haired boy towards the fallen girl. "Help her," he snapped, walking for the boy on the other team who had kneed Tori in the chest, his eyes angry. "What the hell were you thinking?" he asked, his voice hard and low, "The teacher said no tackling or rough play, what the hell was that?" His jaw was locked as he ground out the words, doing his best not to shout. He didn't want Tori knowing how angry he was at the other kids rough playing. As the other student tried to defend himself, Azure took a threatening step closer, his eyes hard. "Do not," he ordered, his voice still low, "Play rough. You knocked the wind out of her, go apologize." As the other boy glowered, Az gave him a fierce look, and he relented, walking towards Tori to apologize as Azure watched angrily from the side, a strange protectiveness huddling around him, no matter how he pushed it away.

(The hypocrite jk jk Actually he's really cute. )
She heard the boy come up, but she waved him away. "Fine. I'm fine." She snapped, not even giving the guy the chance to apologize. She didn't want anyone thinking she was weak or anything. "Just wanted to say sorry, I didn't see you, your so tiny," The boy joked, laughing. She shot him a glare and he backed off, holding his hands up as if in submission. Soon the class was over, and she went limping away, still tender from the knee incident. She didn't wait for Emma or anyone, throwing off her clothes as quickly as possible, checking where she had gotten hit. Luckily her scar hadn't reopened, but there was a nasty discoloration on her skin that she knew was going to look bad tomorrow when she went to Seattle Grace to get her checkup. She let out a grown, cursing the boy inwardly, before throwing on her loose fitting t-shirt and black leggings she had been wearing before. Tori grabbed her dark blue canvas book bag and made her way out the door, knowing the last thing she had to deal with was the bus ride home. She and Az had taken the same bus route since grade school, and she always tried to get to the bus early to avoid having to sit with him. So far they had two instances when that happened and it was the most awkward thing that she had ever experienced. They just pretended the other wasn't there. From now on she tried to make it look like her seat was occupied. She stopped suddenly, feeling the world slip slightly as she stumbled, grabbing on to the thin rail that said "Route 606", their bus route. She slid down, closing her eyes as it slowed down around her, and she took deep breathes, knowing that it was a bad sign. She wanted to just get the day over with, knowing she would need to tell her parents what would happen, it would come out tomorrow anyways.

(Lol, he is a Hypocrite though, XD, little child has no idea what in the hell he's doing with his life currently)
Azure watched silently, and he didn't say anything once the boy had apologized, even if it was a bit of an insult hidden within the apology. Something had been said, and hence, he didn't care any longer, other than to make sure she was fine. And if Tori was talking, then by his standards, she was fine. He hoped at least. She'd been hit pretty hard, but normally that just bruised. He stopped himself from thinking any more, playing the rest of the period and then heading for the locker rooms. He went through the same routine, changing into his dark blue jeans and black t-shirt, pulling on a black and red hoodie on top for good measure. It was starting to cool off, and he'd rather be warm. He snapped his locker shut with a smooth movement, walking away from the others and up the stairs towards his bus. He liked to ignore the fact that Tori took the same bus as him, but it wasn't easy sometimes. The fact that they were sometimes forced to sit together, it had happened twice before, and he and Tori both went out of their way to avoid one another on the bus now, make everything much harder. He brushed his hair from his eyes as he walked, backpack slung over his shoulder, and he caught sight of someone crouched near the railing, looking sick. It took him a moment to register that it was Tori. Maybe she'd been hit harder than he'd thought, and she had something wrong because of it. Confused, and a bit worried, he crept closed, his voice rough and hesitant as he called over to her, "Victoria?" he was careful to use her full name, "Are you alright?"

(Why do I feel this on a spiritual level. Maybe he collapses at the bus stop or on his way home as they separate? Like he starts having a head ache on the bus?)
She couldn't open her eyes for a few moments, forcing herself to stand up when she heard the achingly familiar voice. She didn't turn around, instead letting out a rough, "Yeah, sure. I-I'm fine Azure." She rasped, her voice a little rough as well. She glanced back at him, trying to keep her face expressionless, wanting to say that this happened more often than not. But that would be admitting she was actually in trouble, and she didn't want to let anyone know what was going on, especially not the boy who thought the rest of his jack-ass friends where more important than his best friend since birth. Well, not birth but still. She was well aware he was still friends with a few of them, despite the fact that all they did was talk trash behind his back. But that wasn't her worry anymore. He dug himself into this whole, he'd have to get it out. The bus finally came, and she released the rod and made her way into the bus, sliding into the first seat she could find, putting headphones in, knowing that there was about an hour before they had until their bus stop was up. She sighed, closing her eyes, heart beating harder than it had before. But this time she didn't know with whether it was their interaction or it was because of the adrenaline pumping through her veins. She sighed as one of her favorite songs from her all time favorite band, Paradise Fears. She smiled, trying her best to relax as the familiar tune pulsed through her ears. Maybe this won't be as bad as she thought- if there was something actually wrong with her then she couldn't relax and listen to this music.

(That works. I know that one all too well, unfortunately. Migraines are terrible. If I ever don't respond on a given day, the likelihood is that I'm out with a migraine.) Azure didn't let the hurt show on his face when Tori sort of blew him off, saying that she was fine when she really wasn't. Now, this wasn't unwarranted, and he knew that as well, yet a part of him still wanted her to tell him what was wrong, what was happening. He didn't say anything more, just watched her back silently as she climbed onto the bus. He followed her up, but walked straight for the back, unwilling to sit near her, even if he was worried about her somewhere in his mind. He could feel a headache rising in the back of his neck, and he sighed, rubbing at the base of his skull forcefully in an attempt to get the headache away. He slid into the far back seat, leaning himself into the corner and closing his eyes, using his hood as a bit of a cushion to snooze against as they drove. It was nearly an hour to his stop, and he pulled out his phone, scrolling through the songs as he fumbled in his pocket for the headphones he knew were there. With a small huff of relief, he pulled out a pair of headphones, and plugged them in, hitting shuffle on his music and leaning back again, closing his eyes. Sometimes that helped drive away the chronic headaches that plagued him at times following activity. They'd set in just after eighth grade, nothing too bad usually, just an achey thing that the doctors said might be a precursor to migraines later in his life. He snoozed on the drive, his headphones sending soothing tones into his ears as they moved, bouncing along the bus route lazily. Their driver wasn't fast, but they were efficient at getting everyone there, out of the bus, and across the street to their place before getting back on the bus and going again. He was thankful for it, as his headache was slowly increasing in intensity, resulting in him gritting his teeth for most of the drive, trying to ignore it.
