(If we did skip that far, it would at least spare us from figuring out all the technicalities on how Tony was found (phew) but we could rp his return to Earth and reunion with Steve first if we want. I mean, it was pretty dramatic. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Viktor
His look was sharp, eyes shifting over Diana's features. When Thanos stated he was going to wipe half the population he truly meant it. Just because of the way he was raised and the life he lived, his own gaze didn't sharpen, but his nails did dull. Although, his teeth were naturally sharp, he relaxed his face in a form to reveal that he was still cautious, but did not become a threat to her. His eyes shifted, almost reliving the memory as he dared to recall the snapping fingers. His jaw tightened, now looking straight into Diana's eyes. Body now straightening back out, the older man decided to speak in an explanation as best as he possibly could, for the sake of the woman he was now watching crumble in her own grief. He would need to delicately state this, not wanting another sobbing fit like Alyona had done when Viktor had to pull her from her brother's ashes.
"There was a powerful being named Thanos," Viktor's voice was now lightened, a lot more open and friendly than when he had first greeted her. His hands relaxed, taking a careful step forward as his explanation went on, "He collected a set of stones called the Infinity Stones, in which once collecting them, snapped his fingers and wiped half the population throughout the universe. We've tried stopping him but he was too powerful even for us." There was pain in the end, the hardened mutant managing to hold himself together. It was odd, coming from a person who was always so mean and violent. But, his cognac gaze was now soft and body nearly towering over Diana as he had approached her. He was serious, the flicker of emotion in his gaze revealing that he was telling the truth. "Those we lost vanished in a pile of ash." Viktor's sensitive hearing pricked, alert of the distant voices on the other side of the compound. He hoped that little Alyona could hold it in if she had to explain.
Diana felt the clench in her throat. The burning sensation that slowly crept up the back of her throat and made its way to her eyes, which stung, but she resisted the painful urge to let the tears spill over. Instead, the woman studied the stranger's face, watching as he moved closer. She swallowed the sadness and squared her jaw, attempting to appear more put together as she was prepared to listen to this man's explanation. She had no intention of making herself look weak and afraid in front of these people she didn't know, so her body stiffened as he neared her and she met his gaze, trying to appear strong, as if her red tinged eyes didn't give it all away. Although she was trying to be strong around these people, she could read many like a book. They had all just lost someone close to them, possibly more than just one someone. Everyone was dazed and confused, unsure of what had just happened and how to deal with what had occurred. Her heart ached for these strangers, she felt for them and if the man before her didn't look so menacing, despite his soft gaze she might've tried to hug him and relieve him of his burden, but it seemed this was something they would have to get over in a different way. This Thanos was despicable, Diana was floored at his actions. Had he never loved another before? Never had family to share stories with over a hot dinner? No friends to play games and make memories with? Who would ever want to wipe out half the universe? How did he not understand how that would effect everyone? It might be good for the environment, but did the benefits outweigh the loss? Diana didn't think so. Diana wasn't sure anyone except this Thanos thought that was a good idea. Diana nodded her head sadly, her gaze meeting Viktor's as he neared her. Her arms crossed over her chest and she spoke after a minute of listening. "Ash, yeah. I got that part." Diana said, a shadow crossing her face. That was still fresh in her mind, it hadn't been that long, after all. "So, what is happening? Are the Avengers going to do something? They're our best hope, aren't they? If they aren't doing anything then we need to, this needs to be reversed and everyone needs to be brought home." Diana added, her voice sounding frantic. In that moment she was thinking about all the people out there who were missing their loved ones, and the eternal optimist in her hoped that those who vanished were out there somewhere in limbo, just waiting for someone to flip the switch and bring them home. |

I mean basically followed to where the group ended up meeting at shield base, and then from there we time jumped to after the snap. We’re thinking to doing after the reunion of steve and tony before continuing on and building up from there)
