I don't mind at all! Describing my characters briefly just helps me flesh them out, they're usually individual to the rp because that helps me for some reason, but you should do whatever works for you c:

[ Okayyyyy finally finished this x~x ] [ this might be the worst intro I have ever typed in me life, I got side tracked so much because my friend had skyped me and I was like 'Blarg type while talking' ]
Have you ever wondered why New York people are so darn crabby all the time?
Maybe it's because of the gloomy weather always lingering about, maybe it's because it's just so gosh darn crowded that everyone feels like they are literally trapped in a cage with a billion other people. Or maybe it's because, by a small chance, that most of the people can feel the static of godly power in the air. Would you be shocked to learn that there were godly beings living around in our world? Really, you wouldn't since it seems everything major happens in New York so it would only make sense. But then again, people like to leave the mind open to be shocked and surprised still.
Of course that's only what Clyde thought, unlike normal people his mind wasn't left open to be surprised. When you realize you are the child of some all powerful god that you have only heard about while sitting in history class, and then you are grouped up with a whole bunch of other kids like you for some other worldly fight. He didn't know all the small nitty gritty details but he did know that he was suppose to dislike a certain group of people because of the group he was in. Clyde wasn't exactly the smartest kid in the class if you know what I mean. He was the average kid with the average grades who didn't get into trouble all that much. The only thing he was really known for was well....his soft personality and goofy nature. His dad always says that he got that trait from his mom, along with the colbat blue eyes and thick eyelashes. But that head of curly brown hair was defiantly a Ricker boy trait, all the Ricker's had curly brown hair that either curled in all kinds of directions or just sort of fell back from the face. It depends. Sure when he graduated and time really passed for Clyde to grow there was some different traits that were exactly passed down by his human family but by his mom yeah. He couldn't well go around and tell people 'Hey my mom is Aphrodite and I get this hotness from her'
But those were tales for another day, right now he had to focus on the present and that was um...well it was waiting for the bus to take him down to Alms Street but something had popped up. As in a certain girl that knew a lot more about his situation then he did. She was the one that seemed to embrace the side of her family that was unknown and weird while Clyde was the one to shut it out for most of his adult life. Even looking at her now he could tell she was enjoying this little meet up, how her lips curled upwards and her eyes pinned onto him while she leaned against the brick wall beside her. "How's it hanging?" She asked, even though she knew exactly how it was between them. She shifted her weight onto her foot, her form was kind of cat like but also at the same time it was sort of stiff. Like she was trying too hard to be elegant and natural, when he knew full well she rather have both hands stuffed in her jacket and probably spitting out a storm of curses and swears. She has a mighty temper that only made sense because of her own father. It was amazing how she was even sponsored by a goddess that's suppose to be wise. What sane person, or even goddess, would have someone so one minded on their team? Then again maybe they were desperate for some people that could actually fight and not stand around a table and make dumb guesses and plans.
"Alright....but then I saw your face and I got all sad" Clyde muttered while Sybil just smiled some more, her freckled face scrunching up a bit in a tight smile. She leaned forward slightly and batted her eyelashes at him, her blonde cropped hair falling over her face as she did so. "Aww how mean. I had no idea that lover boy had a sharp tongue." She said, going back to her relaxed pose on the wall. Clyde could only raise an eyebrow, wondering how on earth once more he was even brought to this single spot. Maybe it was because he had knew Sybil at one point and had given her the benefit of just voicing her words but then again it seems like she hasn't changed all that much over the years. Sybil was still that coy, hot tempered girl he met in high school. "We actually gonna talk or are you going to keep me standing around here all day...where are your friends?" He muttered, his eyes going around for a minute to see if anyone was standing a little too close to her for the matter or if she was truly alone. Sybil only smirked at his look of unease, for a man picked by Ares himself he looked more like a scared bunny then a warrior. "Relax, I just thought we could chat....it's been a while right? We haven't spoken since...maybe high school?" She tried to guess around the time she stopped talking to him. It was about the same time frame of when they discovered this whole Athens vs Spartans thing.
In fact that was when it happened for most of the people around New York. Figuring out who they were no matter how old they were and then having to change completely. It was a switch up alright but it didn't phase Sybil that much, she found it exciting. Something new in her dull boring life of private schools and then going to nice colleges only to do boring things. Go into music? Go into Science and the arts? Or just do what she did now and waste her life away by getting wrapped up in some Greek mumbo jumbo. "And that's how it's suppose to be. The only other time we are suppose to chit chat is if we are beating each other to a pulp" Clyde said with a roll of his eyes before looking away from the girl and toward the street, letting out a long sigh when she began to talk again like it was causing him physical pain. "
"Why is it that you people seem to think that violence is centered around everything? There's a thing called being civil if you guys just I don't know, looked it up then maybe things wouldn't be so darn tense" She said and rolled her own eyes at him, only guessing how dramatic he was when not around a large amount of people. He may be the son of Aphrodite when really he could pass for a very grumpy child of Ares himself. She had no idea what pleasant nature he had wrapped under all that hostility. At least he wasn't an complete idiot when in an argument and could hold his ground for the most part. "I didn't think you knew what a dictionary was Sybil, I thought most Hephaestus kids spent most of their time burning books instead of reading" Clyde drawled out, causing Sybil to visibly frown from that little comment. "And you Aphrodite spawns spend most of your time flirting with whatever has a face"
"Excuse you but at least we can flirt. All you kids do is probably do more then burn books"
"Good two-shoes, spoiled Spartan"
"No good, know it all Athen"

Good grief, this took a long time. This might very well be my worst post since I realised how to rp. I wasn't sure what exactly to type as a response, so I just threw something out. I had no idea how to link it to your post in any other way, so I ended up going with the obvious. I'm not happy with what I got, but I wanted to get something out. Sorry it's so short, of low quality and all around just not good, though at this point, I'm not sure I could make this any better no matter how much more time I put into it. Ahhh, I sure hate low muse.
Truth be told, Kathrine often wondered if she should have been more surprised when the truth came out. It was years ago now, and it seemed almost a lifetime had passed, but that had always stuck even when everything else fell away to make room for this new life. She had never been surprised. Something told her that the correct response to "Your dad's a Greek god," was not "Ah, that explains why I've never met him." But it was easier this way, so she didn't so much complain as wonder how that was. She'd always been curious.
She was currently entertaining the idea of somehow always having known that she was different. Now that she knew that she was faster and stronger than your average mortal, it wasn't hard to imagine that she should have picked up on that growing up, at least subconsciously. She'd spoken to the other Athenians, and some of them seemed to share that lack of surprise, and that seemed like it'd be the common thread between them all. But then, some of them had experienced mental breakdowns upon finding out, so maybe not.
She pondered this as she wandered the streets of New York. Kath walked with her back straight as a board, keeping a brisk pace. She had places to be and things to do. She may be an Athenian, but she'd had a life before Athena had decided to sponsor her. She had people to see, and, perhaps more importantly, convince that she was living a safe and completely legal life.
...
Noah had hoped to get out of the city today. So far, he hadn't managed. Ever since he found out about his parentage, he'd blamed the effect consistent, loud sounds had on him on his father. Apollo was the god of music, and car horns going off was about as far from music as one could get. Truthfully though, he doubted that was the reason he got so antsy when surrounded by noise, not that he knew what the real reason would be.
He clicked the fingers of his left hand as he walked. He didn't have a clear goal in mind, but the walking and the fidgeting helped rid his mind of unwanted thoughts, so he persisted, walking in large circles through the city. It was on his third round that he noticed someone he was certain he recognised. "Clyde?"
