Ugh. I really need to take a test online, but the people outside my window are SO LOUD and I can't really make a complaint because it's Saturday and they're not doing anything bad?? I might just go to the library though, so I can focus.
Anyway. I'm here. I'll try to respond quickly, but I have other places I desperately need to reply to first. ^^'

Misty--; I'm replying to you first. xD STELCAS FTW<3 Alright cool, thanks for clearing that up for me<3 Right?! The person I know is a girl, but she legit the prettiest eyes I have ever seen. But they're green, not blue. xD I had to reread a few posts to remember what was happening, ngl. xD I can really see Lucas as a one night stand kinda guy when he needs it, but kind of scared of committed relationships if that makes sense? CoNfLiCt! Is! AwEsOmE! Stella just snorted. "Like is not that strong of a word. I like pasta, the color yellow, and swimming in warm ocean waters. Love and hate, however, those are some strong words," she said lightly, as if her statement might not come across as something she's thought over often. "I like a great many things, but I guess you're right. Like perhaps isn't the right word. What about fond?" she asked, raising her eyes from his hand to meet his gaze evenly, very clearly teasing him at this point in the conversation.
Stella glanced over at Michael again at his question, before looking back at Lucas, a thoughtful glint in her brown eyes. "You, but just barely," she told him, being truthful. She noticed his deflection into a new conversation and let it happen, realizing that maybe she was touching on a sensitive subject with her teasing.
As Lucas suddenly left, she frowned, watching him walk away. He was fine just a few minutes ago, she thought, I wonder what's happened to change that? She sighed, looking over at the elderly couple and flashing them a tight smile before excusing herself and following him outside.
"Lucas? Is everything alright?" she asked, approaching him slowly. "I'm sorry if I crossed a line back there; I was just teasing you."
Gumball--; No, it was great! And there's no rush on the reply. Take as long as you need to~
Paper--; Alright, awesome~ Did we also talk about switching up the roles (like, instead of the guy with the problems, it was the girl?)? Or was that a conversation I had with someone else? >.<'

(I meant it as in reply to me before you take the test, not make my reply first. But I’ll take it~ Also I just realized I’m the only one you replied to with a roleplay post xD Goodness I love their relationship so much <3 Not a problem ^^ Whoops I missed that xD Green eyes ftw I think that’s what I’m leaning toward, but I can’t decide how often and how recently he’s needed it, especially given the cultures of the time periods he’s lived through. I’m trying to work through that conflict. There’s definitely part of him that’s scared of a committed relationship given what he’s been through and his unwillingness to take away someone’s humanity so he has someone by his side. I lIkE mEsSiNg WiTh HiM)
“It’s a strong word when you consider what our relationship is actually like,” Lucas said, his words coming out harsher than he initially meant for them to. He shook his head and spoke again. “Yes, fond is clearly the better word to describe our relationship.” He rolled his eyes and flashed her a brief smile, not bothered by the teasing.
“Good,” he said, unable to find a proper response to her answer given his reason for answering the question. The change in topic hadn’t helped him like he had wanted it to, as he soon found himself outside. Once outside, Lucas immediately went toward the patio’s railing. He leaned forward against it and pushed a hand through his hair. He was expecting Stella to follow him. After all, they were supposed to be portraying a happy couple. He rested both hands on top of the railing, fighting flashbacks of his second wedding and the unfortunate end to that relationship. (Side note: I think he’s told her the story about how he lost her.)
“I can’t do this,” he mumbled just loud enough for Stella to hear him. “I thought I could handle this, but dammit, it’s too much.” Lucas let out a sigh before turning to face her, still leaning against the railing. “You didn’t cross any sort of line back there. All of this,” he raised his hands to create emphasis, “is just too much, between what happened in your apartment earlier and being here.” He paused, realizing he needed to provide her with more context. “When I looked back at Michael, his eyes reminded me of Sarah’s. Same color and everything. She was my second wife. God I loved her. I miss her even more.” He gently bit his lip, taking a moment to breathe and calm himself. “The wedding atmosphere doesn’t help either. Part of it feels like a slap in the face, like it’s something I can have but almost shouldn’t.” To be fair, he had been barely able to handle his friends’ wedding because it brought up the same emotions for him, and that had happened a while ago.

(Gotcha. Might be a little short though.)
Once again masked and cloaked, Feywild set out from her apartment roof, sprinting and jumping across the building tops until she found a fire escape discreet enough for her to climb down. Admittedly, she wasn't exactly sure how to proceed since she'd been foiled earlier today. If she wanted her goals to come to fruition, she might need develop another plan... Didn't mean she couldn't cause mayhem with the remainder of this plan. Admittedly, she sort of sought conflict and finding a way to draw the Mage down for a fight where she knew she had some sort of advantage made her believe she could hold one small victory over his head.
She considered what had happened earlier. That part of the city was behind on repairs as it was... maybe she could set up something extra destructive. After all, she might find some answers to what she wanted if she were to spread enough arcana. She gave a small nod as she quietly agreed with her own thoughts. Bring down a fair number of buildings in the area. Use it to practice her incantations, anger Blue Mage, and get some real rep behind her name. This was what she was guaranteed. Now, if fortune was on her side, maybe the destruction would spread the arcane essence wherever the dust fell. Her mother had made similar plans, though she'd gone further with plans of razing entire counties. Feywild didn't need to go that far. After all, she already knew that her goals didn't need to extend beyond this city.

Misty--; You were first to reply to anyway, with how I respond to this. xD No one else had anything for me yet! You were on top of your game. xD Idk if I'm misunderstanding you here, but yeah, Michael's eyes are blue. The person irl has green. ^^' Stella listened quietly as he explained the situation to her, trying to keep her face clear from pity or sympathy; she wasn't quite sure what she'd call it, but she knew enough about Lucas to realize he probably wouldn't take it well. As he finished, she moved to stand next to him, leaning over the railing and looking over the land next to the reception hall the rehearsal dinner was taking place in.
"I'm sorry I brought you here," she said eventually. "I wouldn't have asked you to come if I knew you would end up feeling like this." She drummed her fingers along the metal railing, the sound echoing softly in the relatively quiet atmosphere surrounding them. "I know this probably doesn't mean much, coming from me, but if you ever need someone to talk to about it, I'd be happy to listen. Sometimes having someone just being there for you really helps the grieving process; after my parents died... I was really alone in the world. I didn't really have anyone else until I moved here and met my friends, and only two of them actually know what I really do. But telling them about my parent's death helped me let go of my anger and resentment and move on. It's a different situation than what you're in, but it can't hurt to try, can it?" As she finished, she looked up at him, looking a little sad and a little worn down.
"We don't have to stay either; if you want, we can leave. Coming here was a bad idea anyway."
Paper--; Probably was, sorry. ^^' ANYWAY, would you like to start, or would you prefer me to? =^.^=
Holly--; Hi! Sorry, I'm kinda poofy like all the time. ^^' But yeah, I can post a starter. I just need your character name again~
Val--; That's fine; mine might be shorter than usual too. Also, I can't remember if I gave his sister a codename, but it's gonna be Overwatch from now on, like in Arrow. x3 Drake was sitting on his bed, wanting nothing more than to go to sleep and for once get a good eight hours. But, unfortunately for him, he had foiled Feywild's plans earlier in the day and knew that she'd probably be out again tonight to complete them.
He groaned, slipping into his suit and placing his mask over his eyes, the material causing them to change from brown to cerulean blue once again, and exiting his apartment via the fire escape, starting his neighbor's cat. As he took off and started his nightly patrol, he turned his comms on, waiting for Alana, or Overwatch as he called her during his unofficial working hours, to give him directions.
"Hey Mage, I just saw Feywild doing some fancy building jumping stunts over by the 2nd Ward," Overwatch said. "She looks like she's up to something."
"When is she ever not up to something?" he asked, rolling his eyes but heading that way regardless. That's where she had been earlier in the day, so she was most definitely trying to finish what she started. "Any idea why she's taken an interest over there?"
"I have a theory it's because those buildings are older and more unstable; if she wanted to make a statement all she'd have to do is bring a few down and bam: she's on every major news network in the city."
"So she wants attention. Basically you as a teenager."
"Oh, like you were any better with your randomly placed force fields?" Overwatch shot back.
"Alright, you've got a point. I've got eyes on Feywild now; I'll observe to make sure she's not actually going to do anything too drastic," Mage relayed, flying lower to the buildings so he'd be harder to see, following Feywild's movements as closely as he could.
Night--; Yes! I'm so sorry I didn't reply; I didn't see your post until I went back to look for it just now. Dx But yes! I'm still interested in continuing with our plot! =^.^=

(I think she did, but it couldn't have been too different from Overwatch ;P)
Valkoinen began to walk along the sidewalk, heading back toward where she'd toppled the first building. While she was at it, she might as well try and see if she could find what had gone wrong with this spell, if the rubble hadn't been cleaned up too much yet. As she moved forward, she drew her hood further over her mask. Working at the restaurant, faking so many interactions, feigning eagerness to bring people overpriced trays took it out of her. She didn't want to interact with anybody she didn't need to. If Mage showed up, she'd fight and tease like always, but she was tired. If she was going to start anything, she needed to not be jumping roofs all the way there.
For every streetlight she passed, she threw a a stone upward, using her power to lodge it dead center in the bulb and lock out the light. There was enough light from the signs and intersections anyways, no one would notice if the street lights were out for a night or two. She really should invest in learning to drive... but cars were traceable, and too easy to find in this city.
As she drew near where the building had collapsed, she looked over the rubble a few moments. A fair amount had been cleaned up, but judging by the amount of what remained, the fractions of the circle should still be here. She ducked under the "Keep Out" tape and began shuffling through the stones. She spent some of her power moving larger stones out of the way, moving other stones with her hands.

MacKenzie was planning on the walkers losing interest actually, thinking that they would grow bored of just pounding on glass that was too strong for their decaying bodies to break in an attempt to reach a meal they wouldn't receive. Not today anyway. She didn't even know how they spotted her in the first place, or where they had come from for that matter. They weren't in town yesterday as far as she knew, unless they were on the other side. Mackenzie didn't bother scavenging over there yet, not when she had a lot to look through as it is. Unfortunately, all that she needed to look through was not in the diner. She found that out the hard way by looking in the back only to find a bag of chips and rotting meat. Well, what was left of the meat anyway. There had been a walker back there munching on some of what was left.
Mackenzie never understood walkers when it came to their appetites, they can eat a cow and not be any fatter. They were still thin, with green and yellow rotting flesh, scraggly bits of hair, gnarly teeth, and unfocused eyes. They were practically bottomless pits who didn't know when to stop. It made one wonder where all of it went if it didn't go to their stomachs, it surely made her wonder anyway. She watched them through narrowed brown eyes with disgust as she sat down on a red plastic chair inside the diner. All she could do now was wait a few hours, maybe days, until they left. If her stomach could hold for that long, as well as her body. The only water she had was what was left in a canteen inside of her gun bag. Which wasn't enough for a human for a few days. Maybe one or two. Unless she really pushed herself and tried to shoot for three but she was risking dehydration at that point, and that was almost as bad as being torn apart by the walkers.
She rested her chin on her hand, her elbow resting against the table inside. It was tempting to just let them in one at a time and drive a knife through their skull - because the only way to kill them was by killing the brain: the host of the disease. But walkers could be unpredictable, more could be attracted and push against the door she would have opened and then it was game over. However, she no longer needed much planning. Someone seemed to have noticed there had to be someone inside considering there was a herd of walkers by a large window, and shot one of them. Why they didn't just end it and damage the brain instead, Mackenzie didn't know. But it didn't matter at this point, not when she had a chance to get out.
Apparently there was an easier meal outside and the walkers slowly turned themselves to look at the direction the bang had cane from. Some, being more intact, limped faster than most first to the source of the bullet while the other more decayed ones followed behind. Mackenzie went straight the bag of guns, picking a Colt Python between the Glock 43 and two rifles. They only brought a few handguns in the bag for runs. Most were the bigger kind plus whatever they had on them. Mackenzie already had the Colt Python, but decided to tuck that away for now. It didn't seem like such a good idea though, since there were bad things around every corner these days. She took off the safety of her firearm, holding it in her hand, and slung the bag over her shoulder hastily. Once the walkers were distracted enough, with most except maybe two away from the door, she made a dash for it, stabbing the closest of the dead to her and then heading the opposite direction of where they were going. At the end of the road though, about thirty yards or so from where the back of the herd was she stopped in her tracks, turning herself around and raising the gun. She had about seven rounds before she would have to reload, but hopefully this paid off. Mackenzie took a deep breath, aimed, and squeezed. She hit four with the five bullets she used. She had another two but wanted to wait to use those.

(I know how this works xD It looks like I’m gonna be last or close to last this time. I just assumed that you had other roleplay posts to reply to because its normally like that. Man, I don’t even know what I initially meant to say at this point xD)
“I didn’t think it would be this hard for me to be here,” Lucas admitted, also turning to face the land. He didn’t want to see the expression on Stella’s face if it contained pity for him and what he had been through. “I wouldn’t have agreed to this if I would’ve thought it was gonna be hard for me. I mean, this isn’t an actual wedding, so I didn’t think it would be a big deal. I don’t get like this when I see happy couples or anything like that. But between what happened at your apartment and what happened just now… That’s too much for me.” He gripped the metal railing as he let out a sigh. “At this point, I’m not sure it’ll help very much, but I guess it can’t hurt.” Lucas looked over at Stella, flashing her a brief smile before becoming serious again. “After that day, I was alone. I hadn’t meant any of my friends yet, and I didn’t know that the f--- to do. I mean, what do you do in that situation?” He shook his head as he let out a sigh. “Anyway, my friends know what happened, but I’m not sure telling them about it helped very much. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that a much longer period of time passed between when it happened and when I told them. Hell, I never really wanted to tell them about what happened – it’s still pretty hard for me to talk about – but it kinda came out anyway.” After he finished, he reached to grab one of her hands for comfort.
“And what would we do instead?” he asked, still holding her hand. “Come on. We can out of here after you show Michael how happy you are with me.” He gave her a small smile, feeling well enough to tease her.
(I can totally see them leaving and doing something completely cute and innocent.)

lol @ me for thinking i could get my crap together in a timely manner and reply
ANYWAY, sorry I haven't responded yet. I forgot that weekend was parent's weekend at school and then this past weekend was Easter (so family activities took up most of my time), and replying during the week is nearly impossible due to the sheer amount of assignments that taking 13 hours gets you. I'm winding down this week and the next, so ~hopefully~ I'll be able to get to everyone sometime soon.
Just a heads up, I am taking 10 hours this summer, so I will probably be more active then, but nothing like I was in high school.
So yeah. That's whats up in my schedule. I promise I'll respond eventually, but when is another question. I'll try tomorrow, but don't take my word for it

Hey guys, I know it's been a while. I've actually been thinking about this place a lot, especially this thread in particular. Since I've been so busy with school and my social life recently, I don't think I have time for this place anymore. I truly loved role-playing with everyone here, but I truly cannot keep up with this. That being said, I think I'm going to be closing this down. I may end up making a thread in the one-on-one subboard, but that's uncertain at this point. I'm really sorry and I really do appreciate who patient everyone has been xx
