Just a small semi-advance group rp based around Persona 5.
Aka thieves who steal the bad intentions out of people's hearts.
If no one is interested in that, how about just a group of high school students who are also thieves. However they only go for big jobs, and their thief names are really big on the internet.

(Alright so here's a quick plot synopsis/background)
My character is a normal high school student in a small rural town of Kiso Japan. However during his summer vacation he laid witness to a big business guy making moves on a girl, and she wasn't enjoying it at all. The guy was clearly drunk, and wasn't taking no for an answer. So my guy ends up punching the guy a bit to hard as he guy is sent to the ground with a broken nose. Sadly for my guy it turns out Mr. Drunky was a big police officer in his town so my guy was arrested.
However the government decided to let my guy live a normal life despite his charges so he was moved to Tokyo Japan to go to school while on probation. This is where he meets your character (You can pick the gender.) They quickly become friends while my guy is more laid back, and serious about school your character is more of (an outgoing student coucil type, or delinquent type) at first the two are simply friends however your character soon finds out Mr Serious normal guy has plans.
When my guy got arrested he realized how much he loved the rush of being a criminal, and now he knew he wanted to keep it up. However he didn't want to be a murder, or anything like that instead he felt the rush to want to be something more cooler in his mind. That's when he offers it to your character to help him sneak into the local bank. No guns, no hostages, he wanted to be the kind of thief who gets in, and out without no one noticing.... He wanted to form a group of phantom thieves.
(If people want to join they can be other members, if not I'll rp more characters the further we get in the plot.)

(Yes I love that plot! It kinda reminds me of Alibaba and the forty thieves X3 at least the version from Magi. Heres my character: Miroka (Insert last name here)- Rather short girl with a thin, athletic frame. She has long, black hair that is almost always in two braids. She has highlights of silver in her hair, and has wide violet eyes. For most people, having a small, petite stature like hers would be a weakness, making them look small and meek, but not Miroka. People notice her, and in a good way. She holds herself with such an energy that no one can ignore her, she practically demands attention with the way she holds herself. Energetic, usually friendly, but a bit of a complete control freak, this girl was born to lead. She is the president of her schools theatre club, a section leader of the percussion in band, and holds the "PVA" rep on the student council. She comes off as a rule follower, but in reality she gets a rush from breaking the rules, much like this Mr.Serious guy. )

(Tbh I just stole Persona 5 opening, and removed the persona part. xD I'll get a starter up in a bit, but first here's my guy.)
Shinjiro Takamoji
Shinjiro is a average height guy standing around 6'1", and has a lean build. He has long shaggy raven black hair that falls to about his forehead, and is a bit curly. His eyes are a light blue color that are normally covered by a pair of glasses. He normally wears tame clothes the schools uniform for males which consist of a black coat that is normally unzipped revealing the white dress shirt. Pants wise it's a black pair of dress pants. When he's not dressed for school he tends to wear a plain white tee, and a pair of black jeans. His shoes are always just a lame black pair of dress shoes.
However his thief gear consists of a black trench coat, a white masquerade mask, and a pair of black gloves.
Personality wise Shinjiro is a pretty quiet guy who likes to get his work done. For example if you put him in a messy room instead of delaying the process of cleaning it he will get right to it only relaxing til it's finished. However because of his two different lives during school he can be found sleeping, though at the same time when the school post test scores he is always is the top five. He is a pretty friendly guy, but when the night falls he is more devious. He enjoys a challenge, and isn't one to get scared from a small challenge like guards. He's not the best fighter, but he's quick at getaways.

(I'm not sure how much you like to type, but my first post is going to be quite length. After this post I'll match what you give me. ^^) The bustling town of Tokyo was much different from Shinjiro home town. He would walk to school back in his home town, but here in tokyo he had to leave the local cafe he was sleeping in the attic of to head to a train that would take him closer to the school in which it was still about a five minute walk. Another big difference was when the sound of Shinjiro's phone went off he was located inside a attic rather this his family's home. He had been moved here for a few differences. His parents disowned him for being a criminal, and the police felt it would be easier to watch him here. It was all very confusing to the young man he had done one thing wrong his whole life, well it wasn't even wrong he had saved a girl from a drunk old man. However he wasn't one to sit, and complain about being wronged so he simply awoke rubbing his eyes as he let out a soft yawn. "Time for my first day....." He sighed as he reached to the nearby box that read 'coffee beans' on it, and grabbed his black pair of glasses putting them on so his vision would be clear enough to get ready for school.
It didn't take him very long to get dressed, and head out of the cafe saying a quick goodbye to the old man who would be his guardian while he was here. Yea he was old enough where he could probably live alone, however the police wouldn't have it. The old man known as Akimaru was his father's best friend who was willing to take care of his friend's son despite him being known as a common thug. The city was quite crowded so his walk to the train station was quite slow however he made it in time, and found a spot to squeeze into as the train moved heading to the district of Tokyo his new school was located.
As the train doors opened he found his way out of the crowd of people, and began his walk heading to Shitaba Academy a public school located in Shibuya district of Tokyo. Shinjiro found his way into the school, having already met the principal he knew which class room was his, and he quickly found the room where a young teacher had already started her daily lectures. Shinjiro wasn't late he was merely intrusted to wait so the teacher could introduce him to the class.
The young teacher known as Miss Amari smiled at the class as they finished bowing. "Alright class before we start are lectures I'm sure you all heard we are getting a new student today." As she said it the door opened, and Shinjiro walked in with a blank look on his face as he walked over to the board, and wrote his name 'Shinjiro Takamoji' is a pretty neat style as he turned to the class.
"Greetings I am Shinjiro Takamoji the new transfer student." Shinjiro greeted as he bowed to the class not one to act rude, well unless he was wearing some sort of mask. Amari smiled, and pointed to a seat next to a young lady. "Miroka please help Mr Takamoji get used to are school." Miss Amari commented to the young girl figuring sitting the transfer next to one of the classes most outgoing students would be a good influence. Shinjiro didn't object merely because he didn't care where he sat since he had no real preference not really knowing anyone here anyways. So he simply walked over to the desk neck to the girl, and sat down silently. He didn't talk to her as he wanted to wait for lectures to be over.
So class went on as normal notes, and all that fun stuff. The day went by pretty slowly, but soon enough it was lunch time so the students had about an hour to go eat. The school didn't really care what the students did during this time as long as they were back for class within the hour time limit. Some students went to the cafeteria, some went into town, and some just stuck around the class. There was also normally a group who hung on the roof of the school of course. With this free time Shinjiro turned to the girl he was sitting next to. "Do you mind if I just stick around you?" He questioned then he saw two guys give him a certain look, and he realized what he just said probably seemed a bit forward, and taken out of context by the students who heard him.

"Miroka! Miroka! Young lady, you better get up, or your going to be late for class!" The shrill voice of her Mother pierced through the incredible dream the highschooler was having. The moment her eyes snapped open, violet opticals dull with sleep, whatever pleasantries of the dream vanished, her mind being filled with what she had to do that day. She had been to a rehearsal that lasted until midnight- she was on costuming, and helping run the light board since, this year, there where no other technicians who even knew how to turn it on. She had been running cues with one of the underclassmen, teaching the boy how to work the board so she could focus more on costume, make-up, and design. This year she had managed to get her hands on some pretty realistic fake blood, and the girl was excited to use it. The play they where doing was reminiscent of the old piece, Frankenstein, but with a modern twist and the setting being in Japan. Despite it being modern, she managed to convince the director to still let her do the "Frankensteins" make-up true to its original form. Anyways, she had to stay over an hour later than the others, making sure everything was cleaned up and locked correctly, and she hadn't gotten up until 130. Lucky for her, she had finished the most important assignments before rehearsals ended, because the girl passed out once she got home, still in uniform and all.
The girl sat up, rubbing her head as a tired headache pounded at her skull. She was going to need coffee to make it through this week. At least this was her last late night- after this her director would only really need her during dress rehearsals and if the kid she trained was hopelessly lost. Shaking her head blearily, she changed out of her now dirty uniform and put on a new one, then continued on to brush her long, dark hair into submission. Once that was done, she ran downstairs and greeted her mother, who studied her severely, clearly looking for any imperfections on her daughter. "Good. " She said, nodding her approval as Miroka grabbed a piece of toast and a bottled water, looking around for her small, black backpack. She frowned, glancing around before she found her ginger kitten, Kuri, laying on it. "Hey, Bug, you gotta get off of that," She said, picking up the ginger fluff ball gently and setting him down nearby. She then grabbed her back and waved a goodby to her mother, knowing that she was not one for senseless conversations. She was a business woman, after all.
Flash forward, she finally made it to her class, settling into her own desk, offering a friendly wave to any of the kids she could make eye contact with, per usual. She didn't have any friends in this particular class, mostly made out of the "jocks" group, surprisingly. Or at least those who acted like it. 90% of the people in the class where arrogant boys who assumed they knew more than you, and, honestly, it got tiring attempting pleasantries towards them. But she had to. She grabbed her pen and paper out of her bag, ready to take notes, already doodling at the edges of the paper, when her teacher made an announcement- that they had a new transfer today. She glanced up, studying this new person with interest. He was tall, at least a good foot taller than her, with pale eyes and dark hair. She narrowed her eyes slightly, intrigued as he introduced himself. He seemed almost... Bored? hm. Interesting. She thought as her teacher sat him next to her, instructing Miroka to help him get used to the school. She smiled, agreeing to, but didn't say a word to the boy. He needed to make the first move. If he didn't want to initiate contact, then why bother trying? They went through lectures in silence, and it wasn't until lunch did he even speak a word to her. She had ran up to a couple of her percussion buddies, wanting to talk to them about some new cadences for drumline. Creating cadences was the best experience, since it was pretty much everyone in percussion sitting around in a circle, screwing around until they found something cool. It was fun. It was then when he finally spoke to her. "Do you mind if I just stick with you?" It asked, and she turned around, offering him a grin, before noticing her buddies giving him a strange look. She waved them off, "Don't worry, he's just new. It's not weird or anything." She told them, and they looked appeased, nodding before heading off to what she assumed to be a practice room. She turned to him, nodding. "Yeah, totally. I don't quite know where I'm going yet, so feel free." She said with a shrug, before walking out the front doors of the school, breathing in the fresh air. "So, is there any part of the school you haven't seen?" She asked, curious. (I usually do 2-3 paragraphs )

(I'mma throw in one, or two more characters I'll rp. You can rp multiple characters as well if you want, but don't feel forced. ^^ I just rather have the phantom thieves be a group over a duo.) Shinjiro simply followed her when she agreed to his companionship, it was quite odd being around new people now that he was here. In his old town pretty much everyone knew you however here the only thing people knew about him was he was a criminal. He had remembered it quite well the day the principal gave him a walk through around the school. 'Of course we'll have to tell everyone you're a criminal, otherwise parents would get mad if they found out we didn't warn their kids.' It made since no one wanted to be around a thug, it was just odd how doing an act of good caused him so much trouble. Even in his new home people would think he was a murderer, or at least a wannabe one that failed. The business man he hit had spun the story quite well making sure the young man who dared cause him harm would have a terrible life. As far as Shinjiro assumed the man had wanted a lot more than having him moved to a different school. If the police hadn't known better he might have been in jail for life. Luckily the police had common sense enough to just him this punishment.
He followed the girl making sure to stay a bit of a distance away as he probably already got a few rumors started. He had heard in the big city false rumors spread fast, so he didn't want to give the rumors any fuel. As she asked him the question he had to think for a bit going back to his little tour. The principle had led him through the halls of class room building, but decided to skip the other half of the school reserved for all the clubs, and sport groups. "I haven't seen anything in the other building. I was told there was no point in showing me it because I didn't seem the club type." He stated in a clear tone he wasn't a shy guy despite his appearance maybe hinting at it. He was merely a quiet guy only speaking when it matters. His eyes watched the students they passed by as they walked people wearing the normal uniform, and people wearing the gym uniform could be found all around the building chatting with their friends.
His eyes soon located a duo of students who looked quite odd together. One had an american look to him wearing a baseball cap, and having a messy look to him. While the girl next to him seemed to be a blonde girl in the pe uniform who had a much more clean look to her. The duo of students were quite popular in the school the guy being the last transfer student known as Ryan a american high school student who moved here with his family from the united states for business reasons. The girl was popular because of her father being the principal himself she was also known as the best volleyball player in the school. Shinjiro was about to change his gaze back to Miroka when the guy saw him staring.
"Yo is that my replacement as the new kid?" Ryan questioned lifting a hand in a wave to Shinjiro, and Miroka. As Ryan spoke Marie took notice of them as well, and walked over to the duo. "Wait a second...." Marie commented, and rose her finger to her chin as she store at Shinjiro. "Isn't he a criminal?" Marie questioned, and Ryan put a hand over her mouth to silence her. "Well that's enough from us come on Marie." Ryan commented laughing clearly deeming the conversation dead when Marie called the new guy a criminal. "See ya around new guy. Miroka see ya in drama club later. " He added before the two disappeared into the distance.
(Decided to just introduce the characters for now. I'm going to have them join the phantom thieves later in the story. ^^ I'll just have them appear every now and then.)

"See ya, Ryan," Miroka called out, trying to laugh over the clearly awkward situation. The young girl paused, waiting for the two to get out of earshot before turning to the new kid, offering him an apologetic smile. "Sorry about that, Marie can be a little... Well, she doesn't have much of a filter sometimes. Whatever she thinks she just blurts out." She explained, before motioning forward. "Alright. So we are heading to the clubs building... Fun fact, this is the oldest building on campus. The rest of it was renovated five years ago, but they ran out of money before they made it sooo we are stuck with the old building for now. Not that I'm complaining, it has a ton of history in it, and its my personal favorite place in the school. Its where Drama club meets, and the theatre is attached to it, so all performances are in this building. Pretty cool, huh? Student council, book club, anything you can think of thats not academic related happens here." She rambled on, happy to fill the space of silence, clearly proud of the building. She was practically beaming once they reached the entrance of the building. "Are you interested in any clubs, perchance? Just because the principle doesn't think you're club material, doesn't mean you aren't." She asked him as she opened the door for him, a force of habit for her. She always held doors open, for her not only was it the right thing to do, but it was a great way for her to connect with others as well. She peered down the hallway that was dully lit with a small smile, the beaming proud-parent-esque look on her face now simmering down to a fondness. She practically lived in this place, if she had any free time she was at some club meeting, or rehearsals, or just helping tech. It was a nice place, despite how old it was compared to everything else. Rumors of it being haunted and all, you could tell this place was home to countless of students.

Shinjiro watched as the pair walked off his face never leaving it's blank look even when Marie had called him a criminal. It wasn't a new mantel, and it was something he had to get used probably for the rest of his life he'd heard the term... The odd thing he kind of liked it. Back before he saved that woman he was known as 'that guy' he really didn't do anything notable which was his own fault he didn't like the spotlight. However ever since he'd come to this town he had decided to do something for he decided to take something his brother said once. 'If someone blames you for something, you might as well do it.' that statement was what led him to buy a few items at a shop yesterday when he had a free day to get used to the town a bit. He had bought a black jacket, tactical black pants, red gloves, and even a masquerade mask. He was only slightly going to follow his brother's statement for people call him a murder, and criminal. He didn't plan on killing, but he did plan on breaking into the local bank this coming sunday not as Shinjiro, but as Joker the phantom thief.
His mind was brought back to the current time when he heard Miroka talking about the club building being old. That wasn't anything new to him in his old school every single thing was old. In fact if their was new stuff most students would freak out from how rare that happened. He didn't speak up for a while as he continued following her to the club building, and he entered the door when she held it open, another thing that was different from his old town. When she asked him the question of joining a club he had to think for a bit. Back in his old school he had joined a arts, and craft club. He had enjoyed it for what it was, however he wasn't sure if he wanted to join anything here. "Clubs aren't really my thing." He decided to say agreeing with the principal's statement. "Plus most clubs wouldn't want the local criminal in them." He added calmly no hurt, or anything in his voice in fact when he deemed himself a criminal a slight smile could be seen on his face.
